Vince proposes the question... where the hell have y'all been?
Since the unexpected pandemic, WWE has tried their best (and admittedly failed at times) to entertain the Universe watching from home. With no instant feedback from a live crowd, wrestlers and writers struggled to see what worked. Now WWE is back on the road, the ThunderDome is no more, and they are fighting to be the clear dominant company in the world. There will be a struggle with the climb as ratings continue to drop to new lows. But it's time to get back!
What should I know?
On SmackDown, the first episode with a live crowd, The Bloodline opened up with a victory over Edge and the SmackDown Tag Team Champions, The Mysterios. Finn Balor returned to the main roster following a year-plus stint in NXT. Seth Rollins picked up a big win headed into Money in the Bank, and we confirmed that Toni Storm is coming to Friday Night SmackDown.
The card for Sunday's Money in the Bank pay-per-view looks like this:
AJ Styles and Omos defend their Raw Tag Team Titles against the Viking Raiders on the Kickoff show
The Usos challenge Rey and Dominik Mysterio for the SmackDown Tag Team Titles
Alexa Bliss, Asuka, Liv Morgan, Naomi, Natalya, Nikki ASH, Tamina, and Zelina Vega compete in the Ms. Money in the Bank Ladder Match
Charlotte Flair challenges Rhea Ripley for the Raw Women's Championship
Bobby Lashley defends his WWE Championship against Kofi Kingston
Big E, Drew McIntyre, John Morrison, Kevin Owens, King Nakamura, Ricochet, Riddle, and Seth Rollins vie for the Mr. Money in the Bank briefcase
Spear versus Spear, Edge finally receives his 1-on-1 Universal Title opportunity against Roman Reigns
Tune in to see what happens! Feel free to leave comments.
