WWE Survivor Series 26.11.2006 Philadelphia, PA
1. The Hardy Boyz & Speed Of Sound (w/ Ashley) def. World's Greatest Tag Team & MNM (w/ Melina) (18 mins) Nitro and Jeff start a Hardyz vs. MNM feud, with both teams reuniting and being joined by respective champions Speed of Sound and WGTT. In particular, WGTT turn heel on The Hardyz when they are jealous of their comeback pop. This could easily steal the show. Jeff is the sole survivor when he hits a swanton on Nitro for the pinfall
2. Rob Van Dam, Sabu, Tommy Dreamer & Sandman (w/ Paul Heyman) def. CM Punk, Elijah Burke, Kevin Thorn & Matt Striker (w/ Kelly Kelly) (12 mins) Originals vs. New Breed wasn't bad on paper and I would keep it with Punk as the leader of the heels, Thorn having a "realistic" gimmick and Kelly as the silly teenage groupie. It's Philly, so the ECW guys need to go over. Punk and Burke are left against RVD, but they mess up and RVD pins Burke with the five star to win the match
3. The Undertaker, Kane, Chris Benoit & Chavo Guerrero def. Mr. Kennedy, MVP, William Regal & Fit Finlay (w/ Layla) (16 mins) Taker and Kennedy continue their feud leading a team, Kane is drafted to Smackdown and reunites with his brother. Chavo shows remorse after injuring Mysterio after Benoit celebrates Eddie's passing anniversary with him, but then turns on Benoit too during the match. Taker and Kane survive when Kennedy is scared and decides to leave
4. Triple H, Shawn Michaels, Ric Flair & Carlito (w/ Torrie Wilson) def. Edge, Randy Orton, Kenny Dykstra & Chris Masters (w/ Candice Michelle) (15 mins) DX and Rated Rko are co-captains of this match, pushing all the feuds involved here. I actually didn't mind the 4-0 result that happened here, as it is something quite rare for a Survivor Series match. DX, Flair and Carlito all survive to capitalize on the heels' miscommunications in the match and HHH gets the final pinfall on Edge
5. John Cena, Batista & Lashley (w/ Maria) def. Umaga, Booker T & The Big Show (w/ Armando Estrada and Sharmell) (13 mins) This only makes sense after the main event of Cyber Sunday, it's 3 champions and the 3 next contenders in the ring together, something only possible with a third brand being added. It's not an elimination match as it's only 3 vs. 3 and this also protects most big guys from getting beaten. Batista pins Booker with the batista bomb and goes over

ECW December To Dismember 03.12.2006 Augusta, GE
I have nothing to lose here, it will be the first and only WWECW PPV ever regardless. As the roster is quite limited, I will fill the night with qualifying matches for the Elimination Chamber
1. Qualifying Match: Rob Van Dam def. Hardcore Holly (13 mins) They actually had a really good match on ECW TV, I'm not Holly's biggest fan but that was a good one and can hopefully be repeated here to open the PPV in a nice way. RVD takes some punishment, but then wins with the five star frog splash
2. Qualifying Match: The Sandman def. Balls Mahoney (6 mins) More originals are needed in the main event and Sandman is one of them, adding the singapore canes in the match without him wouldn't be the same. Short face vs. face match, Sandman wins with a russian legsweep
3. Qualifying Match: Lashley def. Kevin Thorn (3 mins) Lashley in ECW was a mistake, but now I have a decent hand here and I can't just not use him. Thorn is a big guy and vaguely decent, he can be used to put Lashley over here big time with a squash as the spear is decisive
4. Qualifying Match: CM Punk (w/ Kelly Kelly) def. Sabu (12 mins) This can be a fairly big deal, not only for Punk costing Sabu his spot in the match but also because Punk did well with Raven in 2003 and this could have been good too. Sabu misses a spot and crushes a table, so Punk finishes him with the GTS
5. Qualifying Match: Elijah Burke def. Tommy Dreamer (8 mins) Burke was a strange one, as he never really delivered in WWE but had good potential, that hopefully Dreamer could help with by putting him over. Burke proves to be hardcore with a DDT on the steel steps and pins Dreamer to advance
6. MNM (w/ Melina) def. The Hardy Boyz (15 mins) This was on the original PPV and I'll keep it, it was a nice match and it can let competitors breathe before the main event. They have enough time to tell a good story, Nitro gets revenge on Hardy by stealing the win with a dirty roll up
7. ECW World Title Extreme Elimination Chamber Match: Rob Van Dam def. The Big Show (c), Lashley, The Sandman, Elijah Burke and CM Punk (28 mins) I liked the extreme stipulation, adding weapons in the chamber to make it even more lethal. You got 2 originals, 2 of the new school, plus Lashley and Show that are independent. RVD finally wins the belt he always dreamed about, he hits the frog splash from the top of the glass and pins Show for the title change

WWE Armageddon 17.12.2006 Richmond, VI
1. WWE US Title 2/3 Falls Match: Chris Benoit (c) def. Fit Finlay (18 mins) They fought twice on PPV this year, so a rubber match can be booked to end the feud and get another good bout from the two of them. Finlay wrestles all the match trying to avoid the crossface and working on Benoit's arm to save himself, but this gets him exposed to a bridging german suplex for the final pinfall
2. Shane Helms def. Jimmy Yang (8 mins) After the feud with Hardy, Helms keeps being bitter about the WWE and criticizes the returning Yang, saying that they should ally as Hurricane was a joke just as much as Akio was a stereotype, but Yang refuses. They have a quick an open match, Helms wins with the vertebreaker
3. Chavo Guerrero def. Jamie Noble (9 mins) After injuring Rey Mysterio, Chavo hopefully gets a lot of heat and goes on with his successful heel run. Noble is not a natural progression in terms of status, but can still give Chavo a few good matches before the next program. Chavo hits a frog splash on Noble after a low blow and goes over
4. WWE Tag Titles Ladder Match: Speed Of Sound (c) (w/ Ashley) def. William Regal & Dave Taylor (w/ Layla), The Hardy Boyz & MNM (w/ Melina) (16 mins) This match was added on the card as a last minute surprise and, again, I would keep it as it is surely a much better match than Londrick vs. Regal/Taylor. I wouldn't change much here, as the match delivered and it went quite well. London manages to grab the titles and the champions retain
5. Kane def. MVP (10 mins) I dug the dynamic of the two of them feuding due to being allied to Undertaker and Mr. Kennedy, they had decent chemistry after all. No need of the Inferno Match stipulation here as the feud just started however. MVP gets blinded after trying to use some powder himself and Kane finishes him with the chokeslam
6. Last Ride Match: The Undertaker def. Mr. Kennedy (17 mins) After months of Kennedy always finding a way to avoid a pinfall from Taker, we finally get to the blowoff and Kennedy must face his fate. Still, this feud did a lot for Kennedy's career and being in such a competitive match helped him a lot. Taker tombstones him on the concrete and pins him to win the match
7. WWE World Title No DQ Match: Batista def. Booker T (c) (w/ Sharmell) (special referee John Cena) (13 mins) We have Cena on the card, but I don't have a suitable opponent for him and so he's the referee here, with Booker trying to get an argument between Cena and Batista after they teamed up at Survivor Series. It's a blowoff here too, Cena calls the match fairly and Batista finally wins the title back after hitting Booker with the batista bomb. Hopefully the No DQ and the storytelling of Cena as referee would improve the match, as they only had stinkers

I don’t think the brand exclusive PPVs would come to an end since in OTL December to Dismember being a disaster caused the end of the single branded PPVs. With that show not being a disaster ITTL, they would keep the single branded PPVs.

WWE New Year's Revolution 07.01.2007 Kansas City, MI
1. WWE IC Title Falls Count Anywhere Match: Johnny Nitro (w/ Melina) def. Jeff Hardy (c) (16 mins) This feud has been going on for a while, in both single and tag matches with Hardy and MNM, so a good stipulation can be used to give us an exciting opener. I don't feel like the cage match suited them too well. WGTT interferes to attack Hardy and Nitro finishes him with the starship pain to win the title back
2. The Rednecks (w/ Mickie James) def. The Highlanders (7 mins) Little undercard feuds and a filler to get an additional match on the card, quite frankly. We need a little breather after that opener and this could get the job done. The Rednecks were quite good and had decent longevity, they go over Robbie with the sweet and sour by Murdoch
3. Ric Flair (w/ Torrie Wilson) def. Kenny Doane (10 mins) The Prospects have disbanded and Candice has left the group, so Doane is by himself. Him and Flair can have the typical veteran vs. youngster feud, but Doane won't get over as he never really delivered, while Naitch will go for another year. Flair wins the match with the figure four
4. Carlito def. Chris Masters (8 mins) This is the blowoff, as Masters at this point wasn't really going anywhere while Carlito still had some potential here. Their matches were never really good, so this will be short. Carlito is the first one to break the masterlock, at least giving the match a cool moment, then finishing his former partner with the backstabber
5. WWE Tag Titles: World's Greatest Tag Team (c) def. Cryme Tyme (12 mins) Cryme Tyme was discretely over straight away and they are still undefeated. When WGTT refuse to give them a title shot, they steal the belts and also a few items to ridicule the champions. The match could be okay if WGTT does most of the work and isolate JTG. Benjamin retains with the t-bon suplex on Shad
6. WWE Title: John Cena (c) (w/ Maria) draws Umaga (w/ Armando Estrada) by DQ (17 mins) This was good and it led to the great rematch, but I don't think Umaga should have been pinned here. The story is that Cena has to be reckless in order to hang with his crazy opponent and a huge brawl leads to the no-contest due to the double DQ. Umaga gets the best of the brawl and he splashes Cena through the announcers table. Yes, a title match ending in disqualification on a PPV... but that's why it's not the main event
7. Steel Cage Match Match: Rated Rko def. D-Generation X (22 mins) A Hell in a Cell would have been nicer, but the one with the McMahon just happened a few months prior to this and it was the right way to hid a lot of flaws. You can't win by escaping, only pinfalls/submissions and they all have nowhere to run and hide. HHH also gets injured in this, so Michaels does all he can to win the match almost by himself at one point, but the heels are too ruthless. Edge spears HHH and the heels win

WWE Royal Rumble 28.01.2007 San Antonio, TX
1. The Hardy Boyz def. MNM (w/ Melina) (15 mins) This actually happened and it was another good chapter of their series, playing on the Mercury incident and the chemistry between Nitro and Jeff. With MNM going over at the ECW PPV, now the Hardyz are almost forced to win to hope in a future title shot. Jeff pins Nitro with the swanton bomb and the brothers go over
2. ECW World Title: Rob Van Dam (c) def. Lashley (9 mins) Face vs. face, kind of a big deal, even though I am not overpushing Lashley like WWE did at this time, especially as Lashley will be soon gone for 10 years. Lashley is the heel here of course and the story is that The New Breed wants him in the stable, he's torn but then says no. RVD retains with the five star frog splash 3. WWE World Title: Batista (c) def. Mr. Kennedy (12 mins)
I'm keeping this, as Kennedy was at his highest here, with good heat from the feud from Taker and in good form in the ring as well at this time. They fought at GAB 2006, but this is a more experienced Kennedy now and he gets so close to winning the title. Batista, at the end, hits the batista bomb and manages to retain
4. WWE Title Last Man Standing Match: John Cena (c) (w/ Maria) def. Umaga (w/ Armando Estrada) (20 mins) This absolutely ruled. Just as Edge in 2006, it's 'Mania season and I need Cena with the belt, but Umaga was so great here and would have deserved a chance to be champion. The match is intense and brutal, the finish was really bright too and of course I would keep it, Cena uses the turnbuckle to choke Umaga and win the match
5. Royal Rumble Match: Shawn Michaels wins by eliminating Undertaker (56 mins) Participants: RAW (Carlito, Charlie Haas, Randy Orton, Edge, Shawn Michaels, Trevor Murdoch, Shelton Benjamin, Super Crazy, Ric Flair and Lance Cade). SD (William Regal, Brian Kendrick, Chris Benoit, MVP, Paul London, Finlay, Shane Helms, Undertaker, Kane and Booker T). ECW (Test, CM Punk, Elijah Burke, Hardcore Holly, Kevin Thorn, Monty Brown, Matt Striker, Tommy Dreamer, Sabu and Sandman) For the first time, 3 different rosters are in the Rumble. The ECW guys see New Breed vs. Original, with Punk lasting 25 minutes, but Benoit throws him out. Benoit and Flair are the first two and they do really well, Flair once again has a really inspirational match but Edge and Orton eliminate him after 40 minutes. Kane and Taker eliminate a few people together, including MVP and Booker T, so Booker comes back to eliminate Kane. Final four, just like in reality: Edge #7, HBK #19, Orton #23 and Taker #30. Edge and Orton argue and end up costing each other the match. Taker and HBK have a great 10 minutes last segment, but... Michaels goes over here. We're in San Antonio, plus he's the one that needs a good victory to get him hot after a year in DX. HBK blocks the tombstone and eliminates Taker with a dropkick

WWE No Way Out 18.02.2007 Los Angeles, CA
1. Chris Benoit & The Hardy Boyz def. MVP & MNM (w/ Melina) (16 mins) I'm keeping the opener as it was on the original card, it was definitely a good one and a nice way to combine two feuds with each other. MVP is aiming for Benoit's title, while MNM are still trying to get revenge on the Hardyz. Mercury is finishing up here, Benoit submits him to the crossface and the babyfaces go over
2. Jimmy Yang def. Chavo Guerrero (10 mins) Chavo accumulated a good amount of heat in the last few months, since putting Rey Mysterio on the shelf, but he's giving some to Yang here as I want to push him to put him in the MITB thanks to his good flying abilities. Chavo is in control, but is too arrogant to close and Yang gets the upset with an inside cradle
3. Mr. Kennedy def. Jamie Noble (8 mins) Kennedy didn't win the title, but he still has decent momentum and can get the heat back here with a quick victory over Noble. The angle sees Kennedy holding the ring hostage on Smackdown with one of his introductions and Noble trying to kick him out so his match can take place. Kennedy wins with the mic check
4. WWE World Tag Titles: Speed of Sound (c) (w/ Ashley) def. Dave Taylor & William Regal (w/ Fit Finlay) (11 mins) This is the match that was supposed to take place at Armageddon, before MNM and Hardyz were added to make it a four way. The British team just kicks the hell out of the champions, who have to play the underdogs here thanks to their size. London has a great comeback and hits Taylor with the 450 splash to retain the titles
5. #1 Contender: CM Punk draws Lashley by double DQ (12 mins) Lashley was at the PPV, so safe to say that I can have an ECW match on the show, this is a contender match for the ECW World Title. Punk can indulge in some strikes and sells for Lashley's power moves. Rob Van Dam shows up to confront his rivals and the match gets thrown out after a bit for a double DQ
6. Booker T (w/ Sharmell) def. Kane (9 mins) The two start a feud during the Royal Rumble, as Kane was the one to eliminate Booker and he got revenge by illegally eliminating Kane. Booker says that he's not scared of Kane, but he is and avoids all confrontations. The match happens and Booker stalls a lot, then managing to steal the victory with a dirty roll up
7. John Cena & Shawn Michaels def. Batista & The Undertaker (20 mins) I'm keeping the main event for 3 reasons: 1) it was a unique brand collision (no rematches); 2) it drew well enough; 3) with Cena vs. HBK and Batista vs. Taker ready for 'Mania, any title match would have been quite predictable. I liked the match too and the finish stays the same, with Batista hitting Taker and letting Cena pin him with an F-U

WWE Raw 19.02.2007 WWE IC Title: Umaga (w/ Alejandro Estrada) def. Johnny Nitro (c) (w/ Melina) and Jeff Hardy
WWE WrestleMania 23 01.04.2007 Detroit, MI
A. WWE World Tag Titles: William Regal & Fit Finlay (w/ Dave Taylor) def. Speed Of Sound (c) (w/ Ashley) (8 mins) London and Kendrick have been champions for a year now, but have a really tough challenge from Regal and Finlay, with the Irish man this time replacing Taylor. Regal & Finlay have good chemistry and their toughness take the champions off guard. Regal submits London to the regal stretch for the title change
B. WWE IC Title: Umaga (c) (w/ Armando Estrada) def. Carlito (9 mins) Umaga literally just won the IC Title, which is almost a way to reward for being a great contender to the WWE Title. Carlito wants the belt back and these two can have a nice little David vs. Goliath match, that doesn't really deserve to be on the preshow. Umaga cheats and uses the samoan spike to retain
1. Money In The Bank: Ric Flair (w/ Torrie Wilson) def. Johnny Nitro (w/ Melina), Mr. Kennedy, Jimmy Yang, Sabu and Elijah Burke (17 mins) This is the first MITB with 3 different brands. The participants from the original match are pretty much all different here, but I think this is a nice mix of people that will take bumps (Sabu and Yang), stars in the making (Nitro, Kennedy and Burke) and then of course Flair. I always thought WWE dropped the ball with him, it's his last year and something special needs to happen... especially when Kennedy can't win because of what happened. Flair gets the best of Nitro and grabs the briefcase for the upset
2. WWE US Title: MVP (w/ Maryse) def. Chris Benoit (c) (10 mins) This was an okay match, I digged it enough and you could tell that Benoit was doing all he could to put over MVP. In this feud, MVP would offer to use his money to buy Benoit and let him be his hitman, but Benoit strongly refuses of course. Benoit dominates the match, but MVP hits a playmaker drive out of nowhere and wins the belt
3. WWE Tag Titles: The Hardy Boyz def. World's Greatest Tag Team (c) (11 mins) After a 6 months feud and chase, The Hardyz finally get a title shot to prove that they are good enough to be champions again, it's a moment that deserves 'Mania and so no MITB for them this year. This is a first time ever and the heels WGTT would just make it really tight. Jeff hits Haas with the swanton bomb and the Hardyz are champions again for the first time since 2002
4. Falls Count Anywhere: Kane def. Booker T (w/ Sharmell) (8 mins) Surely not a greatest 'Mania match, their chemistry was just okay, but I don't have many alternatives. Booker will leave soon, while Kane needs to be relevant in 2007, as WWE is full of injuries. They can have this match and make it decent thanks to the lack of rules, Kane hits the chokeslam on two chairs for the win
5. Randy Orton (w/ Candice Michelle) def. Edge (14 mins) I don't particularly love heel vs. heel matches, but they had enough tension here and a natural dislike, much like Angle and Benoit in 2002. Orton seduces Candice, which drives Edge crazy as it ruins his Rated R Superstar reputation. They have an heated match, with Edge getting more cheers than boos here. Orton counters the spear in a dirty roll up and steals the victory
6. ECW World Title: CM Punk (w/ Kelly Kelly) def. Rob Van Dam (c) and Lashley (12 mins) After the non finish at No Way Out, a triple theat gets booked. It's originals vs. New Breed vs. an independent athlete like Lashley. They will hopefully mix up well here, as their styles are quite different. RVD knocks down Lashley with a five star frog splash, but Punk kicks RVD and he's the one to pin Lashley to win the title belt
7. WWE World Title: The Undertaker def. Batista (c) (15 mins) I'm keeping this, as it was a really nice and entertaining brawl. It's pretty much a dream match, Batista proves to be a force but Taker's strength and experience can't be underestimated. Batista plays the heel here, as he's quite annoyed by the crowd cheering for Taker and not him. Taker blocks the batista bomb and hits the tombstone to win, becoming champion again
8. WWE Title: John Cena (c) (w/ Maria) def. Shawn Michaels (25 min) I'll also keep the main event, even though the storyline absolutely sucked. In my world, HBK wins the Rumble and challenges Cena, throwing a parallel between the two, as he tried to be the corporate champion in 1996 but it destroyed him and this will destroy Cena as well. I'm surely not going to get them to become tag champions or whatever. The match was good enough to keep and it sold quite well too, Cena surprises everyone again and goes over with the FU

So, Backlash 2007 marks the end of the monobrand PPVs and we are going back to the multibrand formula. For the next 3 years, I will have 3 different brands hosting PPVs and the classic scheme will be 3+3+1 matches on each card. The roster wasn't super deep in 2007 (especially with Smackdown and ECW trading so many talents) and it would be hard to get 9 competitive matches a month. This means that not all titles will now be defended at the PPVs, but it's a normal thing given the circumstances
WWE Backlash 29.04.2007 Atlanta, GE
1. WWE US Title 2/3 Falls: MVP (c) draws Chris Benoit (15 mins) MVP celebrates his 'Mania victory, but Benoit calls it a fluke and dares him to give him the rematch he deserves. These two have a lot of confrontations and the story is that, as good as MVP is, Benoit is still better than him. They have a tight match here and, when it's 1-1, MVP taps to the crossface while he also has Benoit's shoulder on the mat
2. Johnny Nitro (w/ Melina) def. Ric Flair (12 mins) Flair has the MITB and announces that he can't wait to win the 17th World Title, but Nitro is super jealous of Flair winning the MITB at his expenses, saying that Flair should step aside and give him the spotlight instead. Flair unleashes punishment on Nitro, but Melina interferes here and Nitro wins with the starship pain for some kind of upset
3. Kane def. Mr. Kennedy (8 mins) I'm not pushing Kennedy as much as I would (especially in 2007) as his injury and downfall are around the corner, so here he can put Kane over as the monster still has a good wins/losses record and is not a glorified jobber to the stars. Kennedy does all he can, but he gets hit by the chokeslam and pinned
4. WWE IC Title: Umaga (c) (w/ Armando Estrada) def. Carlito (11 mins) They had a quick match on the 'Mania preshow, so here they can have more time and actually put on a better encounter. Umaga is on a roll and this puts Carlito over a sympathetic figure, as the challenger bleeds and tries to beat the unstoppable samoan, who's still unpinned in WWE. Umaga wins with the samoan spike
5. Extreme Rules Match: Rob Van Dam, Sabu, Sandman & Tommy Dreamer def. CM Punk, Elijah Burke, Kevin Thorn & Monty Brown (w/ Matt Striker and Kelly Kelly) (13 mins) This match (after the 'Mania bout) took place on ECW TV and was quite good, so why not have it here and spread the feud a bit more. Originals vs. New Breed was not a bad concept, as I said before. Punk and Burke keep fighting over leadership and the babyfaces gets the best of them when RVD pins Thorn after the frog splash
6. WWE World Title: The Undertaker (c) draws Batista by double ko (18 mins) Batista wants his rematch straight away and of course Undertaker is happy to give it to him, putting over Batista for his good performance at 'Mania. I liked this a lot at the time and wouldn't change it, including the crazy finish that KOs both of them and throws the match away. Good bump, good match and good storyline progression, no issues here
7. WWE Title: John Cena (c) (w/ Maria) def. Shawn Michaels, Edge and Randy Orton (w/ Candice Michelle) (20 mins) I'm also keeping this main event, it was a good match and it can be nicely built with Cena & HBK vs. Edge & Orton on Raw (the tag titles are not needed here). After their 'Mania match, Edge and Orton are arguing and not on the same side anymore, but they try to be nice to each other to take advantage at the PPV. Cena and Michaels don't like each other either. Also liked the finisher of HBK on fire and Cena pinning Edge in a flashy way to retain
