WWE Hell in a Cell October 8, 2017 Little Caesars Arena Detroit, MI
*Bray Wyatt d. Luke Harper w/Erick Rowan by Pinfall in a Hell in a Cell Match The betrayal of Luke Harper and Erick Rowan on the former leader of the Wyatt Family, Bray Wyatt, had led to the former WWE champion essentially haunting them during their matches, promising to take them to hell and back for their "betrayal." Harper challenged Wyatt to a Hell in a Cell match, and the former cult leader arrived to the match with a far darker ring attire and aggressive approach to the ring. While Harper was still able to hold his own, Wyatt eventually managed to put away his wayward disciple with a Sister Abigail's Kiss onto a Steel Chair.
*Charlotte Flair & Becky Lynch d. Mandy Rose & Sonya Deville w/Paige by Pinfall to Retain the Women's Tag Team Titles Paige had made her return after a year on the shelf with an injury, and she had brought with her backup in the form of Mandy Rose and Sonya Deville from NXT. The trio, now calling themselves Absolution, challenged Charlotte Flair and Becky Lynch for the newly created WWE Women's Tag Team Titles. Unfortunately they were unable to pull off the upset, despite Paige's best efforts on the outside, as Lynch hit an Uranagi Slam on Rose to pick up the win.
*The Usos [Jimmy & Jey Uso] & Lance Anoa'i d. The New Day [Kofi Kingston, Big E & Xavier Woods] by Pinfall in a Samoan Street Fight The feud between the New Day and the Usos had continued, with the Usos lamenting the fact that it was essentially three on two. This led them to recruiting from inside the family, bringing in independent wrestler Lance Anoa'i to serve as the third man against the New Day in a Samoan Street Fight. The no disqualification brawl took place all over the arena, with all six men being beaten down at times. In the end, Big E went for a Big Ending on Lance, only for the Usos to save their cousin, hitting Big E with a Double Superkick and then hitting him with dual Uso Splashes to pick up the win.
*Bobby Roode d. Dolph Ziggler by Pinfall The Glorious Bobby Roode had made his debut on Smackdown shortly after Summerslam and had been undefeated since then. He had entered a feud with Dolph Ziggler, who was jealous of the attention the newly christened superstar was receiving. Despite attacking Roode during his entrance, Ziggler was unable to maintain his advantage and Bobby Roode eventually pinned him cleanly following a Glorious DDT.
*Jeff Hardy d. Baron Corbin by Disqualification [Corbin Retains the Intercontinental Title] Jeff Hardy challenged Baron Corbin for the Intercontinental Title, after Corbin had cost Hardy a match against WWE Champion The Miz on Smackdown. The veteran was overpowered by Corbin at first, but Hardy's unique offensive style turned the tide and it appeared that he would come close to recapturing the IC Title. However, when the match seemed lost, before Hardy could finish off the Lone Wolf he intentionally kicked Hardy low, leaving him lying. This resulted in Corbin being disqualified, but keeping the IC Title. However after the match, as Corbin prepared to comeout with The Miz for the Six Pack Challenge later in the night, he was thrown out of the building by Smackdown General Manager Daniel Bryan.
*Charlotte Flair d. Natalya by Submission to Win the Women's World Championship Despite having defended the Women's Tag Team Titles earlier in the night, Charlotte Flair was set to also challenge for the Women's World Championship against Natalya as well. The champion tried to take advantage of the fact that Flair was damaged from her previous title defense, attacking her lower back and trying to set up the sharpshooter. However Charlotte was able to fight through the pain and eventually took out the knee of the champion, locking her in the Figure 8 and picking up the win to become a double champion.
*The Miz d. Randy Orton, AJ Styles, Shinsuke Nakamura, Apollo Crews & Sami Zayn by Pinfall in a Six Pack Challenge Match to Retain the WWE Championship As WWE Champion, The Miz had made many enemies over the course of his reign, chief among them Smackdown General Manager Daniel Bryan (who had seemingly been left to his own devices by Showrunner Shane McMahon). Bryan ordered Miz to defend his title in a Six Pack Challenge against 5 of his chief challengers, and with Baron Corbin removed from the arena, it appeared that the odds were stacked against the A-Lister. Despite this, the Miz managed to sneak away with a win, after Orton had cleared the field with several RKO's, only to be hit with a Boma Ye from Shinsuke Nakamura. Before the King of Strong Style could make the pin though, The Miz tossed him out of the ring and stole the pinfall to retain his title.
*Brock Lesnar w/Paul Heyman d. Goldberg by Pinfall in a Hell in a Cell Match The ongoing issue on Raw between Brock Lesnar and Goldberg necessitated a special cross-promotional event, as the Raw stars would be allowed to compete on a Smackdown exclusive show inside a Hell in a Cell. The third match between the two titans would prove to be the most brutal, as both men were busted open, leading to a bloody brawl in the center of the ring. In the end, Lesnar finally put Goldberg away following an F5 onto steel steps, earning the edge in their year long rivalry to close the show.

WWE TLC: Tables, Ladders & Chairs October 22, 2017 Target Center Minneapolis, MN
*Sheamus d. Jinder Mahal, Big Cass, Kevin Owens & Cesaro in a Fatal Five Way Match for the Vacant United States Championship Just prior to the TLC event, it was announced that Roman Reigns had contracted an illness that would force him to vacate the United States Championship. Raw General Manager Mick Foley announced on the kickoff show that a Fatal Five Way Match would be held to crown a new champion, featuring both members of The Bar, Kevin Owens, Big Cass and Jinder Mahal. Sheamus and Cesaro controlled much of the match (when the Singh Brothers weren't interfering on behalf of Mahal), but came to blows with each other when it came time to try and make a pinfall. In the end, Cesaro managed to hit Owens with a Zurich Bomb, but before he could make the cover Sheamus hit his own tag partner with a Brogue Kick, stealing the pin and winning the title.
*Sasha Banks d. Nia Jax by Submission With Bayley set to challenge Alexa Bliss for the WWE Women's Championship later on in the night, her best friend and rival Sasha Banks tried to take out Nia Jax to keep the Intimidator from influencing the match. Despite Jax's overwhelming power, Banks was able to outwrestle her, locking in the Banks Statement and picking up the submission victory.
*Enzo Amore d. Adrian Neville by Pinfall to Win the International Championship Enzo Amore had struck out on his own in an attempt to win singles gold, and challenged Adrian Neville for the International Championship. The Man gravity forgot had completely disregarded Amore, but Enzo was able to showcase some degree of talent, hitting a Tornado DDT for a near fall. Neville then took Amore more seriously and tried to put him away, going for the Red Arrow, only for Enzo to roll out of the way. Enzo then hit another roll through DDT with a cradle to pick up the win and the upset, becoming International Champion.
*The Revival [Scott Dawson & Dash Wilder] d. Authors of Pain [Akam & Rezar] w/Paul Ellering in a Tables Match to Win the World Tag Team Titles AOP had dominated the tag team division on Raw since their debut in the summer, and they looked to continue that domination against the technically minded Revival here. After a hard hitting brawl though, the Revival were able to pull out a win, putting both members of AOP through tables on the outside in order to secure the tag team titles. When Paul Ellering attempted to get involved to save his charges, he also ate a powerbomb through a table, leaving him to be stretchered to the back.
*R-Truth d. Rusev in a Ladder Match to Win the Managerial Services of Lana The issues between Rusev and Lana had finally boiled over, to the point where Lana had quit as Rusev's manager and become the manager of R-Truth instead. Rusev however pointed out that he had an "exclusive" contract with Lana as his manager, denying her ability to quit. Rusev eventually put this contract on the line against R-Truth in a Ladder Match, despite Truth claiming he had "arachnophobia". Despite R-Truth's antics, he was able to outwrestle the Bulgarian Brute (with some timely assistance from Lana, who was ostensibly in a neutral corner) and pick up the win and Lana's managerial services.
*Braun Strowman d. Finn Balor by Pinfall to Retain the World Heavyweight Championship Finn Balor cashed in the World Heavyweight Championship shot that he had earned by defeating Kevin Owens the previous month, challenging the Monster Amongst Men in Braun Strowman. Despite Balor's speed and agility proving difficult for the champion to maintain, Strowman was able to overpower Balor and hit the Running Powerslam following a Spear to pick up the win.
*Samoa Joe, Drew McIntyre & Andrade d. Seth Rollins, Dean Ambrose & Sami Zayn in a TLC Match This TLC match was initially supposed to feature the Shield as a unit against their three main antagonists, but due to Reigns' illness a replacement partner was needed. That replacement turned out to be Smackdown's Sami Zayn, who for one night only was made an honorary member of the Shield. In the end though it didn't help, as McIntyre hit a Claymore on Dean Ambrose, knocking him out and picking up the victory for his team and continuing the six man rivalry that had dominated Raw all year.
*Bayley d. Alexa Bliss by Pinfall in a Chairs Match to Win the WWE Women's Championship With Nia Jax effectively neutralized following her match with Sasha Banks earlier in the night, Alexa Bliss was forced to go it alone against Bayley in a match where the use of chairs was legal. Despite her fun-loving nature precluding her from using weapons in most cases, Bayley didn't hold anything back against the Women's Champion, and overcame her still injured arm in order to hit a Bayley-to-Belly onto Bliss onto an open steel chair, picking up the win and becoming Women's Champion to close the show.

NXT Takeover: WarGames November 18, 2017 Toyota Center Houston, TX
*Velveteen Dream d. Noah Kassidy by Pinfall The enigmatic Velveteen Dream had been on a winning streak in recent weeks on NXT television, and was facing his toughest challenge in former North American Champion Noah Kassidy here. Despite Kassidy's hard hitting offense accidentally busting open the lip of the Dream, Velveteen was able to hit the Purple Rainmaker off the top rope to pick up the win and continue his streak.
*The Iiconics [Billie Kay & Peyton Royce] d. Aaliyah & Kairi Sane by Pinfall The Iiconics had been feuding with Aaliyah in recent weeks leading into this Takeover, after the young star had scored upset wins over both members of the Iiconics in singles matches. Aaliyah found a tag partner in the 2017 Mae Young Classic winner Kairi Sane, and that likely would have spelled end for the iconic duo, but Peyton Royce distracted the referee long enough for Billie Kay to pull out a pair of brass knuckles and KO Aaliyah, with Sane chasing after Royce. This gave Kay enough time to make the pinfall and retain the title.
*Aleister Black d. Hideo Itami by Pinfall to Retain the NXT North American Title In a standard title match, Aleister Black retained the North American Title against former International Champion Hideo Itami after hitting him with the Black Mass.
*Heavy Machinery [Otis & Tucker] d. The Britstonians [Danny Burch & Oney Lorcan] & The Street Profits [Angelo Dawkins & Montez Ford] by Pinfall to Earn a Shot at the NXT Tag Team Titles A trio of tag teams competed for a shot at the NXT Tag Team Titles, including former champions The Britstonians and newly formed tandem The Street Profits. But it would be the duo of Otis and Tucker, who had been on a lengthy win streak, that would pull off the victory as Otis pinned Danny Burch with a huge second rope splash to pick up the win.
*Ember Moon d. Ruby Riott w/The Riott Squad & Nikki Cross w/Alexander Wolfe & Eric Young by Pinfall to Retain the NXT Women's Championship Ember Moon continued her domination of the NXT Women's Division, taking on both Ruby Riott of the Riott Squad and Nikki Cross of Sanity in a Triple Threat match. Despite the Riott Squad making their presence felt and nearly costing Moon the match, the champion rallied back and hit Cross with an Eclipse to pick up the win and retain her title. Afterwards however, Moon was confronted by the newly signed Shayna Baszler, who made clear her intention for challenging for the Women's title in the future.
*The Undisputed Era [Adam Cole, Kyle O'Reilly, Bobby Fish & Roderick Strong] & Kevin Owens d. Johnny Gargano, Tomasso Ciampa, Pete Dunne, Killian Dane & Tyler Breeze in a WarGames Match To combat the threat of the Undisputed Era, who were running roughshod over the entirety of NXT, General Manager William Regal authorized the return of the WarGames match from WCW. The match encompassed two rings with a cage surrounding both rings. Entrants were staggered in every 3 minutes, and the only way to win was submission or surrender. To combat the Undisputed Era, Johnny Gargano and Tomasso Ciampa had set aside their differences, teaming with Pete Dunne and Killian Dane. Each team was also granted a mystery partner from the main roster. The babyfaces got former North American Champion Tyler Breeze, while The Undisputed Era managed to score former World Heavyweight Champion Kevin Owens. In the end, Bobby Fish would force Breeze to submit to an armbar while using a lead pipe for additional leverage, giving the Undisputed Era yet another win on their road to dominance.

WWE Survivor Series November 19, 2017 Toyota Center Houston, TX
*Charlotte Flair d. Bayley by Submission in a Champion vs. Champion Match The Survivor Series once again focused on several interpromotional matches in a battle for "brand supremacy" between Raw and Smackdown. This included several champion vs champion matches, with the event kicking off with the Women's World Champion doing battle with the WWE Women's Champion. Charlotte and Bayley were clearly familiar with each other from NXT, and this encounter saw them match each other move for move, but Charlotte was able to exploit Bayley's cumulative injuries that she had earned from battles with Nia Jax and Alexa Bliss in recent weeks to pick up the win via submission with the Figure 8.
*Rusev Won a 30-Man Interpromotional Battle Royal Many of the superstars not involved in other matches took part in an interpromotional battle royal, with the final two coming down to former WWE Champion Rusev and former Intercontinental Champion Apollo Crews. Despite suffering a recent stretch of bad luck, Rusev was able to rally and eliminate Crews following some outside help from R-Truth of all people, as Rusev's rival attempted to bridge the gap between the two and form an alliance, giving the Bulgarian Brute the unlikely win.
*Baron Corbin d. Sheamus by Pinfall in a Champion vs. Champion Match In a rare heel vs heel match between United States Champion Sheamus and Intercontinental Champion Baron Corbin, the Irishman seemingly had an advantage with his tag team partner Cesaro at his side. However Cesaro would accidentally cost Sheamus the match, as he inadvertantly tripped up Sheamus instead of Corbin on an Irish Whip. The momentary distraction allowed Corbin to catch Sheamus with the End of Days to pick up the win and send Smackdown up 2 to 1.
*Natalya, Becky Lynch, Carmella, Paige & Sonya Deville w/Mandy Rose d. Alexa Bliss, Nia Jax, Sasha Banks, Dana Brooke & Zelina Vega in an Interpromotional Survivor Series Match - Natalya d. Dana Brooke by Submission - Sasha Banks d. Carmella by Pinfall - Becky Lynch d. Zelina Vega by Pinfall - Nia Jax d. Paige by Pinfall - Nia Jax d. Sonya Deville by Pinfall - Becky Lynch d. Sasha Banks by Submission - Nia Jax d. Natalya by Pinfall - Nia Jax Was Counted Out - Becky Lynch d. Alexa Bliss by Pinfall Sole Survivor: Becky Lynch
*The Revival [Scott Dawson & Dash Wilder] d. Angle Academy [Chad Gable & Jason Jordan] w/Kurt Angle by Pinfall in a Champion vs. Champion Match The Revival and Angle Academy renewed their longstanding rivalry that dated back to their time in NXT, though this time with the added wrinkle of WWE Hall of Famer Kurt Angle in the corner of Gable & Jordan. Angle's presence wouldn't be a factor however, as he simply stayed at commentary for the match at the request of his team. The teams each put on another clinic with another, with Smackdown having a chance to close out Raw early in the night for Brand Supremacy, only for The Revival to pull out the victory after hitting Gable with the Shatter Machine.
*Enzo Amore w/Big Cass d. Xavier Woods by Pinfall to Retain the International Championship In the only title defense of the night, Enzo Amore put the International Championship on the line against Xavier Woods of the New Day. Amore was the underdog going in, and most expected him to rely on Big Cass to have any chance of retaining the title. To the surprise of many though, Amore was able to match Woods in terms of wrestling, and the match was an even affair. Big Cass did get involved, trying to distract the referee, but Enzo called him off. This nearly cost him, as Woods rolled up the champion for a near fall. In the end, Woods went for the Limit Break Elbow, but Enzo was able to roll out of the way. Enzo then hit a Running Senton for the victory to retain his title, with Big Cass looking on strangely.
*Braun Strowman d. Randy Orton by Pinfall in a Champion vs. Champion Match Randy Orton had finally recaptured the WWE Championship from The Miz on an episode of Smackdown, setting up the Viper to take on World Heavyweight Champion Braun Strowman. Despite having the veteran advantage and even hitting an RKO on the Monster Among Men for a near two count, Strowman's power was too hard to overcome, as he eventually hit Orton with a Running Powerslam to pick up the victory.
*Team Smackdown [John Cena, AJ Styles, Shinsuke Nakamura, Bobby Roode, The Miz, Sami Zayn & Jeff Hardy] d. Team Raw [Brock Lesnar, Roman Reigns, Seth Rollins, Dean Ambrose, Samoa Joe, Drew McIntyre & Andrade] w/Paul Heyman in a Survivor Series Match There were several dynamics involved in the Team Raw vs Team Smackdown Survivor Series match going into it. Prior to Survivor Series, WWE Owner Vince McMahon had appeared to say that the winning show runner would get a $5 million dollar bonus, leading to both McMahon children and their respective GM's to pull out all stops. On the Smackdown side, Smackdown General Manager Daniel Bryan offered to come out of retirement to captain his team, citing recent tests that showed that his neck injuries had finally healed. However he was overruled by Smackdown Show Runner Shane McMahon, leading to tension between the two. Instead, John Cena returned to captain Team Smackdown. On the Raw side, to counter the fact that the bulk of Team Raw was made up of the two warring factions of The Shield and Samoa Joe's group, Raw General Manager Mick Foley made a deal with Paul Heyman for Brock Lesnar to become captain of Team Raw, with the promise of a World Heavyweight Championship Match in the future. - Samoa Joe d. Sami Zayn by Pinfall - Brock Lesnar d. Bobby Roode by Pinfall - Jeff Hardy d. Dean Ambrose by Pinfall - Roman Reigns d. Jeff Hardy by Pinfall - Andrade d. The Miz by Pinfall - Shinsuke Nakamura d. Andrade by Pinfall - Brock Lesnar Was Counted Out - AJ Styles d. Seth Rollins by Pinfall - John Cena d. Drew McIntyre by Pinfall - Samoa Joe d. John Cena by Knockout - AJ Styles d. Samoa Joe by Pinfall - Shinsuke Nakamura d. Roman Reigns by Pinfall Sole Survivors: AJ Styles & Shinsuke Nakamura

WWE Clash of Champions December 17, 2017 TD Garden Boston, MA
*Carmella & Natalya d. Charlotte Flair & Becky Lynch by Pinfall to Win the WWE Women's Tag Team Titles Once again Charlotte Flair was called upon to defend both her Women's Tag Team Titles and the Women's World Championship in the same night, though this time one of her opponents in the tag team match would also be her opponent in the Women's Title match in Carmella. The Princess of Staten Island had recruited Natalya to be her tag team partner for this match, and the two of them focused mostly on Flair, trying to keep Lynch out of the match. At one point, Charlotte was rammed shoulder first into the turnbuckle post, injuring her arm. Charlotte struggled to make the hot tag, but was eventually successful. Lynch however was unable to overcome the two on one advantage with the challengers, and Carmella and Natalya eventually hit a double powerbomb to pick up the pinfall victory on Lynch and become Women's Tag Team Champions
*Shelton Benjamin d. Enzo Amore w/Big Cass to Win the International Championship Shelton Benjamin had made his return to WWE after a lengthy absence, and answered an open challenge from International Champion Enzo Amore, who had his "best friend" Big Cass in his corner as usual. However this best friendship ended suddenly when Cass hit Enzo with a Big Boot on the outside and then tossed him into the ring behind the referees back. This allowed Benjamin to hit a moonsault from the top to pick up the win and secure the International Championship After the match, Cass came into the ring and absolutely laid waste to Amore to the shock of everyone in the crowd.
*Bobby Roode d. The Miz w/Maryse by Pinfall In order to earn a shot at the Intercontinental Championship, the Glorious Bobby Roode had to defeat The Miz first. The former WWE champion matched strengths with Roode, hitting several of his trademark moves, but Roode was able to counter the Skull Crushing Finale into a Glorious DDT after a lengthy exchange between the two, securing his title shot.
*Baron Corbin d. Bobby Roode by Disqualification [Corbin Retains the Intercontinental Title] However the title shot would begin immediately after Roode's victory over The Miz, as champion Baron Corbin came running out and immediately put the boots to the weakened challenger. However, the champion was unable to put Roode away, and when he attempted to hit the End of Days Roode was able to fight out and hit a powerslam for a near fall. After a few more offensive flurries, Roode signaled for a second Glorious DDT, only for Corbin to kick him beneath the belt deliberately, getting himself intentionally disqualified to keep the Intercontinental Championship.
*Angle Academy [Chad Gable & Jason Jordan] w/Kurt Angle d. The New Day [Kofi Kingston & Big E] w/Xavier Woods & The Usos [Jimmy & Jey Uso] w/Lance Ana'oi to Retain the WWE Tag Team Titles Angle Academy defended their WWE Tag Team Titles against both The New Day and The Usos, as those two teams continued their years long rivalry with their respective corner men on the outide along with the Hall of Famer Kurt Angle. This match actually saw Angle mix it up with the men on the outside, hitting Woods with a German Suplex while locking Lance Ana'oi in an Ankle Lock briefly. On the inside, the Usos appeared like they would take advantage of the commotion on the outside, switching places on Jason Jordan and nearly getting a pin with a rollup, only for Kingston to break up the pin and then hit Jimmy with Trouble in Paradise to try and score the win. In the end, Chad Gable hit a top rope Angle Slam on Jey Uso to pick up the win and retain the belts for the Academy.
*Charlotte Flair d. Carmella by Submission to Retain the Women's World Championship Charlotte Flair came into this title match with her left arm injured from the Women's Tag Team Title match earlier in the night, coming out with a brace on her arm against Carmella. The newly crowned tag champion immediately targeted the arm, attempting to set up her Code of Silence crossface. Charlotte was able to fight out of the submission hold, though, eventually locking Carmella in her own Figure 8 to pick up the win and retain her singles championship.
*John Cena d. AJ Styles by Pinfall John Cena had returned at the Survivor Series and had resolved to make 2018 the year where he became WWE Champion once again. To this effect he planned to start his "comeback" by wrestling one of his greatest recent rivals, AJ Styles. The two had a stellar match, similar to their encounters the previous year, though this time Cena was able to get the best of AJ, catching him on a Phenomenal Forearm attempt and then hitting him with two successive Attitude Adjustments to pick up the win. After the match, Styles shook Cena's hand as a sign of respect.
*Shinsuke Nakamura d. Randy Orton by Pinfall to Win the WWE Championship The Japanese Ace Shinsuke Nakamura challenged The Viper for the WWE Title, hoping to become the first Japanese WWE Champion since Antonio Inoki some 38 years prior. Orton was able to slow down the pace of the King of Strong Style, executing all of his technical moves and waiting for the moment to hit an RKO for the victory. However Nakamure was able to counter the RKO at every turn, and eventually caught Orton with a surprise Boma Ye, but only got a two count. Orton was able to counter another attempted move with an apron DDT, setting up for another RKO, but Nakamura countered that with a stiff roundhouse kick to the skull, stunning Orton, and then delivering a second Boma Ye for the victory, winning the WWE Title to the delight of the crowd to close the show.

Note: Added a Raw show to the end of 2017, for symmetry purposes. As in real life, branded shows will end after Wrestlemania.WWE New Year's Revolution December 31, 2017 Amalie Arena Tampa Bay, FL
*Kevin Owens d. Cesaro by Pinfall to Retain the United States Title Having defeated Sheamus for the United States Title, Kevin Owens turned his attention to Sheamus' sometimes tag team partner, Cesaro, do defend the title. The Celtic Warrior had been barred from ringside by Raw General Manager Mick Foley, but mostly at the request of Cesaro, who wanted to prove he could win on his own. Sheamus didn't respect this boundary however, and came in through the crowd, attacking Owens behind the referee's back. When Cesaro saw this, he argued with Sheamus, but then turned right around into a Stunner from Owens who then made the pinfall to retain the title.
*Finn Balor d. Jinder Mahal w/The Singh Brothers by Pinfall In an impromptu segment, Jinder Mahal came to ringside with the Singh Brothers in toe, stating that 2018 would be the year of the Maharaja and that he would expose America for the "Cesspool" that it was. He issued an open challenge to any star in the back, which was answered by Finn Balor. Balor made short work of Mahal, hitting him with a Coup de Grace in less than three minutes to pick up the impromptu win.
*The Club [Karl Anderson & Luke Gallows] d. The Revival [Scott Dawson & Dash Wilder] by Pinfall Anderson and Gallows had rededicated themselves to regaining the tag team titles in 2018, after months of treading water. The first stop on that "comeback tour" was against former champions The Revival. After a hard hitting match, The Revival hit the Shatter Machine on Gallows, but the referee had been knocked down. This allowed Anderson to break up the pin with a steel chair shot to Wilder and Dawson, before hitting the latter with the Magic Killer to pick up the win and continue their march back to the titles.
*Alexa Bliss w/Nia Jax d. Bayley in a Steel Cage Match to Win the WWE Women's Championship Alexa Bliss challenged Bayley to a match for the Women's Championship, and Bayley had earned the right to pick the stipulation after defeating Nia Jax on an episode of Raw. This, coupled with incidents during the Survivor Series, led to the continued troubles in the alliance between Bliss and Jax. Bayley chose a steel cage match to ensure that there would be no outside interference, with Jax still on the outside, somewhat conflicted about her "friendship" with the former champion. However, in the end, she chose her friendship with Bliss, slamming the door on Bayley just as the Women's Champion was attempting to exit the cage. This allowed Bliss to hit the Twisted Bliss and pin her, regaining the title.
*Enzo Amore d. Big Cass by Disqualification The partnership between Enzo Amore and Big Cass had ended violently, mostly due to the seeming jealousy that Cass had towards Amore's recent singles success. The two met one on one for the first time at New Year's Revolution, and Cass dominated the Smacktalkin Skywalker from bell to bell. Cass had initially won the match after hitting two massive big boots to KO Enzo, but continued the beatdown after the bell. This led the referee to reverse his decision, disqualifying Cass and giving Enzo the Pyhhric victory.
*Authors of Pain [Akam & Rezar] d. R-Truth & Rusev w/Lana by Pinfall to Retain the World Tag Team Titles R-Truth and Rusev had formed an unlikely partnership after months of feuding with each other over Lana, with the oblivious Truth trying to "brighten Rusev's mood" by declaring it to be "Rusev Day" every day. This organically led to a Rusev Day chant from the crowd, and the two were teamed together as an odd couple pairing with Lana as their manager. The duo challenged Akam and Rezar for the tag team titles, and briefly it looked as if the unlikely challengers would pull off the upset. However the much stronger champions were able to take out the Bulgarian Brute and focus solely on Truth, hitting him with the Final Chapter to pick up the win.
*The Shield [Roman Reigns, Seth Rollins & Dean Ambrose] d. Samoa Joe, Drew McIntyre & Andrade by Pinfall in a Six Man "Losing Group Disbands" Match The tensions between The Shield and Samoa Joe's group had been largely the reason why Team Raw had failed to win the competition with Team Smackdown at the Survivor Series, costing Raw showrunner Stephanie McMahon a huge payday. This led McMahon to make a final Six Man, Tornado Rules, No Disqualification Match between the two groups, with the losing faction forced to disband. The Shield would be a man down early on, after Dean Ambrose suffered a real life injury in the course of the match. Despite this, the Shield still managed to pull off a victory after Rollins hit Andrade with a Stomp, followed by a Spear from Reigns to pick up the win, proving the Shield's continued dominance.
*Brock Lesnar w/Paul Heyman d. Braun Strowman by Pinfall to Win the World Heavyweight Championship As payment for his captaincy of Team Raw at the Survivor Series (despite the fact that he didn't win) Brock Lesnar had received a shot at World Heavyweight Champion Braun Strowman at New Year's Revolution. The two big hosses had a huge fight, with Lesnar barely able to contain the raw power and strength of the champion. In the end it took three consecutive F-5's to finally put the Monster Among Men down, as Lesnar pulled out the victory and ended 2017 as World Heavyweight Champion to close the show.

NXT Takeover: Philadelphia January 27, 2018 Wells Fargo Center Philadelphia, PA
*British Strong Style [Tyler Bate & Trent Severn] w/Pete Dunne d. The Britstonians [Danny Burch & Oney Lorcan] by Pinfall The duo of Tyler Bate & Trent Severn had formed a union with The Bruiserweight Pete Dunne to form the trio of British Strong Style, planning on taking down The Undisputed Era as a unified faction. Against the tag team of Lorcan and Burch, Bate and Severn proved to be successful, hitting a double spinning backhand on Lorcan before finishing him off with a double DDT for the victory.
*The Riott Squad [Liv Morgan & Ruby Riott] w/Sarah Logan d. Natalya & Carmella by Pinfall to Win the Women's Tag Team Titles Natalya and Carmella appeared to be the favorites, both being on the main roster, compared to Liv Morgan and Ruby Riott of the Riott Squad. However the effective tandem was far more experienced as a team than the champions, and this teamwork would eventually win the day as Riott pinned Carmella by sitting down on a Sunset Flip, winning the Women's Tag Team Titles in a major upset.
*The Velveteen Dream d. Drew Gulak by Pinfall The strange Prince-esque superstar Velveteen Dream fought against the hard-nosed technician Drew Gulak, with the winner primed to receive a spot in the Royal Rumble match the following night in Philadelphia. Despite Gulak's best efforts, Dream managed to pull off the victory after hitting him with the Purple Dream, picking up the win.
*Shayna Baszler d. Lacey Evans by Referee Stoppage to Win the #1 Contendership to the NXT Women's Championship Former MMA fighter and the self-professed "Queen of Spades" Shayna Baszler had been on a tear, destroying all the competition in the NXT Women's Division up to that point. She had a scheduled #1 contenders match against Lacey Evans, but the match didn't really take long, as Baszler easily won after choking out Evans, forcing the referee to stop the match before Evans suffered permanent injury.
*The Undisputed Era [Bobby Fish & Kyle O'Reilly] d. Heavy Machinery [Otis & Tucker] by Pinfall to Retain the NXT Tag Team Titles The Undisputed Era had won their first gold in NXT by capturing the NXT Tag Team Titles in recent weeks, and were set to defend against the Blue Collar duo of Otis and Tucker. Despite the fan favorites managing to stymie the highly proficient work of Fish and O'Reilly, a distraction from Roderick Strong on the outside allowed Fish to KO Tucker with a tag team title belt, picking up the pinfall afterward.
*Aleister Black d. Killian Dane by Pinfall to Retain the North American Title In a standard title defense, the dangerous Aleister Black managed to outlast Killian Dane of Sanity after a bruising fight, hitting him with Black Mass to pick up the pinfall and retain the North American Title.
*Tomasso Ciampa d. Johnny Gargano & Adam Cole by Pinfall to Win the NXT Championship The three biggest stars in NXT were the champion Johnny Gargano, his former tag partner turned sworn enemy Tomasso Ciampa, and the leader of the Undisputed Era Adam Cole, and after several weeks of fighting amongst themselves, NXT General Manager William Regal put the three in a triple threat match to determine the true NXT Champion. In a back and forth affair with several near falls from all three men, Ciampa was able to secure the pinfall on Cole after Gargano was knocked out at ringside by the Undisputed Era, ducking an attempt at a Panama Sunrise and then hitting the Fairy Tale Ending before getting the pinfall, escaping through the crowd with the NXT Title before the Undisputed Era could catch him to end the broadcast.
