2020 Dynamite Diamond Ring Finals
MJF w/Inner Circle vs Orange Cassidy w/Best Friends
(Following his and Wardlow's induction into The Inner Circle and their trip to vegas, MJF wins a battle royal along with Orange Cassidy to earn himself a chance to become a 2-time Dyanmite Diamond Ring winner.)
Frankie Kazarian vs Miro
(The Redeemer continues to rampage his way through the AEW Roster, with Kaz being his latest victim.)
Pac & Lance Archer w/Jake "The Snake" Roberts vs The Butcher & The Blade w/Eddie Kignston and The Bunny
(Shortly following Full Gear, Eddie Kingston's "family" begin to have problems, as there's tension between The Lucha Bros after the AEW Championship eliminator. Eventually, Penta and Fenix agree to a match between each other, which Penta wins. Following the match, Eddie Kingston celebrates with his "best friend", while also declaring Fenix "trash" and throwing him out of the ring. Following Kingston doing this, Da Bastard Pac makes his return after 8 months away due to injury, going straight for Kingston. The following week, Pac wins his first match back over The Blade, but is attacked by The Butcher and Eddie Kingston post match, with Fenix making the save, but the numbers game is too much for Pac and Fenix. Eventually, Pentagon comes out wielding a steel chair, with Penta attacking Kingston, Butcher, and Blade, reforming Death Triangle with Pac and his brother. The following week, Death Triangle lose their first match back to Eddie Kingston, The Butcher, and The Blade, with them continuing to attack post match, before Lance Archer makes the save, turning The Murderhawk Monster face. Tony Khan then sets this match up for Winter is Coming.)
AEW Women's World Championship
Dr. Britt Baker DMD (C) w/Rebel vs Abadon
(Heel vs heel. After claiming the AEW Women's World Championship from Shida at Full Gear, Britt Baker moves on to her first challenger, the woman of few words, the undefeated zombie, Abadon. Britt says that Abadon may be a force of nature, but we are now in the era of DMD, and she is going to run straight through this deformed monster to kickstart her reign. This is the same match that happened on the Halloween 2021 episode of Rampage.)
Cody Rhodes & Darby Allin w/Arn Anderson vs Team Taz (Ricky Starks and Powerhouse Hobbs) w/Taz and Hook
(On the 11/18/20 episode of Dynamite, Team Taz is victorious over Cody and Darby Allin, with Cage and Starks attacking Darby and Cody post match. Will Hobbs eventually runs down for the save, grabbing Cage's FTW Championship, and then hitting Cody with it, turning heel and joining Team Taz. The following week, the rechristned Powerhouse Hobbs squashes Lee Johnson, with Taz hopping on the mic, and saying he isn't leaving the ring until someone tells him why the FTW Championship isn't sanctioned. Cody eventually comes down and tries to get Taz to leave, but gets attacked by the newest member of Team Taz, pro wrestling legend Hook. Following this match, Brian Cage then runs down and Team Taz beat down Cody and Darby, but the lights go out, when they come back on, ominous music starts to play, and snow starts to appear, because, IT'S STIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIING! Sting makes his AEW debut, saving Darby and forcing Team Taz to retreat.)
AEW World Championship
Jon Moxley (C) vs Kenny Omega
(Kenny earned his #1 contendership after winning the AEW World Championship Eliminator, renewing his rivalry with Jon Moxley. On the 11/18/21 episode of Dynamite, there is supposed to be a contract signing for the AEW World Championship match between Omega and Mox, but Moxley is mysteriously attacked backstage. The following week in a backstage interview before the contract signing, Kenny Omega says that the more things change, the more they stay the same, because last year almost to this day, he was nursing injuries, and now fast forward 1 year, and it's the same old sh*t, but instead of him seeing his face on all these magazines, he sees Moxley's face, they're calling him the best in the world, things change, but after the Eliminator Tournament, his name pops back up, the return of The Cleaner, the return of The Best Bout Machine, the more things change, the more they stay the same, but what binds him and Jon, is what Jon has and what he doesn't have, the AEW World Championship, and for the past year, he's had to claw his way back to the top to be taken seriously again, but it's not until he takes Jon's belt that people will start considering Kenny as the best again, but in order to get there, he wants a fair match with Jon Moxley for the title, so he proposes a "gentlemen's agreement" where neither man will use any foreign objects. As Kenny makes his OTT entrance for the contract signing, Jon Moxley attacks him, laying him out with a Paradigm Shift. Moxley accepts Kenny's "gentlemen's agreement", and also tells him that whoever he hired to try and take him out last week, they did a pretty pi$$pour job, because he's still walking, and that's pi$$ed him off because he thought the beef between him and Kenny was squashed, but it clearly isn't, so he's gonna have to throw Kenny back down the mountain that nobody has been able to climb in the past 18 months. Don Callis is once again on commentary for Kenny's match. During the match, Kenny is receiving medical attention outside the ring, with Don hoping off commentary to go check on Kenny. Mox throws Kenny back into the ring, and mounts him and starts throwing punches, with Don Callis (who's now holding a microphone) telling the referee to stop the match, with Mox then attacking Don, with Don dropping the microphone in the ring. As the ref is checking on Callis, Kenny grabs the microphone, and nails Moxley with it. Kenny then hits a pair of V-Triggers, and then the One Winged Angel, 1-2-3, Kenny is the new champion. Kenny and Don then run as fast as they can to the parking lot with Kenny's new world title, with Callis then uttering those immortal words "you're about to find out, this Tuesday night, this Tuesday, IMPACT Wrestling on AXS TV, me and Kenny, will tell you all about it" as Kenny and Don then hop in a car and driving off as Winter is Coming goes off the air.)
