Sunday Night Heat
World Tag Team Titles in a Triple Threat Tag Team Match
Chief Morley and Lance Storm (C) vs. The Dudley Boyz (Bubba Ray Dudley and D-von Dudley) vs. Billy Gunn and Chuck Palumbo - After No Way Out and Billy and Chuck's laughter at Bischoff's expense, he put them through the ringer. Gunn and Palumbo fought and lost against 3 Minute Warning, Jericho and Christian, and Randy Orton and Batista, all in one night. Only then did Eric give them Regal and Storm. Unfortunately for Eric, it was a timely return by The Dudley Boyz which helped a battered Gunn and Palumbo to an upset win over the tag champs. With the Dudleys wanting their revenge and being owed a rematch and Gunn and Palumbo having defeated the tag champs, Morley made a decision: the two teams would fight in a match where the winner faces Regal and Storm on Heat for the World Tag Team Titles. It seemed like a solid plan until Regal, Storm, and Morley all intercepted and made the match a No Contest. With no match going into WrestleMania, they were riding high...until Shane McMahon stopped by the following week with a note from the WWE Board of Directors. Due to the high profile status of WrestleMania and having the honor of kicking off the show, they made an executive decision: it would a Triple Threat Tag Team Match for the World Tag Team Titles. Storm and Regal would defend against The Dudley Boyz and Gunn and Palumbo. Tragedy stuck a week prior to this show as Regal went down with a debilitating heart injury. In order to get around this, Chief Morley stripped them of the World Tag Team Titles before awarding himself and Storm the prizes instead. Can the new team of Morley and Storm walk away champions not even a week after getting them? Can The Dudleys ride this string of a return to reclaim those titles? Or will Gunn and Palumbo capitalize on their major spot on the big show by winning back the World Tag Team Championship?
Main Card
WWE Cruiserweight Title
Matt Hardy (C) with Shannon Moore vs. Rey Mysterio
- For months Matt Hardy had been losing weight to be a Cruiserweight. He had finally done it and his journey ended by winning the Cruiserweight Title at No Way Out. Rey Mysterio had his own victory at the show by defeating Jamie Noble on Heat. Rey called Matt out as a fake champion. Hardy took this personally and demanded a match with Rey against Moore (because of course he'd duck him). Stephanie agreed but told Matt that if Rey won, he would face him at WrestleMania XIX for the Cruiserweight Title. Matt tried all night to get Rey to back out, but it was all to no avail. He even tried to help his MFer win the match, but it backfired, ending with a 619 and West Coast Pop to seal the deal and earn his shot. Matt and Moore blindsided Rey after the match. As revenge, Rey started turning Matt needing to retain his weight against him by feeding him extra calories and slipping in some soda instead of BJs (banana juices). At an official weigh-in, Matt managed to just maintain enough weight, but only because he puked all over the stage beforehand. Rey then tripped Matt and Moore up to fall into the puke because COMEDY BABEY! Can Matt Hardy keep his momentum from No Way Out (and the weight) to retain his title? Or will Rey Mysterio reclaim the prize he's been so desperate to regain?
The Brothers of Destruction (The Undertaker and Kane) vs. Big Show and Test
- This all started back in November when The Undertaker was thrown off the stage by Big Show. Ever since then, Big Show and Test (as part of Heyman's Alliance...well, unofficially on Test's part) have been constantly a thorn in Kane's side. At the Royal Rumble, The Undertaker returned and dominated the field. He didn't win, but in the weeks leading up to No Way Out, Undertaker and Show had their own match to look forward. Kane and Test's feud was volatile, but really picked up on the go-home show for No Way Out when Test booted Kane off the stage before joining him with an elbow drop. Their match at No Way Out might have had Test walk away the winner, but they brawled throughout the entire night, including into Undertaker and Show's match. The Brothers walked away from that battle winners, but in the weeks leading up to WrestleMania, Big Show fought Kane in a Street Fight that ended with both men Chokeslamming the other off the stage. The next week, with both men still recovering, Test and Undertaker faced in another Street Fight. The match ended in a No Contest when they wouldn't stop brawling throughout the arena. It ended when Test threw Undertaker off of a scaffolding, sending him through a stack of tables. The next week, Test and Kane faced off again, this time in a Chain Match. The match ended in another No Contest when Big Show returned. Undertaker made the save and Stephanie made the match official. Can the reunited Brothers of Destruction put down this towering team? Or can Big Show and Test put down the WWE's darkest duo on the Undertaker's biggest yard?
WWE Women's Title in a 6-Pack Challenge
Victoria (C) with Steven Richards vs. Trish Stratus vs. Jazz with Theodore Long vs. Molly Holly vs. Torrie Wilson vs. Dawn Marie
- Stephanie has tried for weeks to name a number one contender. Trish faced Molly in a semi-final tournament match that ended with Victoria interfering to attack them both. Torrie and Dawn fought in another semi-final match that ended when they couldn't stop fighting to a double count out. Stephanie tried again the third week with a Fatal 4-way, but Jazz made her return to put a stop to that match. With all the women watching, Stephanie made a 6-Pack Challenge for WrestleMania XIX. Which diva can walk away from this match the champion? Will Steven prove to be enough for Victoria to keep the title? Will Torrie and Dawn's hatred for each other keep them focused on the championship? Can Molly Holly or Trish Stratus regain the title that's eluded them since last year? Or will Jazz and Theodore Long maneuver their return into a golden success?
WWE Intercontinental Title
Rob Van Dam (C) vs. Jeff Hardy
- Rob Van Dam has been the champion since August of last year. Jeff Hardy has been riding a wave of momentum since his match with Undertaker for the Undisputed Title in June of last year. In order to get a number one contender for WrestleMania, Eric Bischoff made a Fatal 4-way elimination match. Jeff Hardy faced Christian, Randy Orton, and A-Train and managed to last eliminate Christian for the victory. Ever since then, the two have had a series of "can you top this?" Jeff and RVD teamed up to beat Jericho and Christian in a tag team match (thanks to Shawn Michaels). Jeff then beat A-Train in a singles match while RVD beat Christian. Finally, Jeff faced A-Train and Christian in a Handicap Match while RVD faced Regal and Storm. Both men ended up winning their respective matches. On the go-home show, Bischoff forced RVD to defend his Intercontinental Title against The Rock. Due to help from Steve Austin, RVD managed to do so, but Jeff was left holding the title as he taunted RVD with it. Can Jeff Hardy ride his Imagi-nation all the way to the Intercontinental Title? Or will RVD continue his reign straight through Seattle?
WWE Tag Team Titles in a Triple Threat Tag Team Match
Team Angle (Charlie Haas and Shelton Benjamin) (C) vs. Chris Benoit and Scott Steiner vs. Los Guerreros (Eddie and Chavo Guerrero)
- Los Guerreros have wanted their rematch since before No Way Out, but Stephanie has held it off because of the big 6-man tag. Well they were tired of waiting and ended up stealing the titles. Why? Because they lie, they cheat, and they steal, obviously. Later that night, Benoit and Steiner faced Team Angle in a tag team match. Steiner pinned Benjamin with Eddie and Chavo's distraction, which led to Stephanie making a match at WrestleMania XIX between Team Angle and Benoit and Steiner for the Tag Team Titles. Guerreros still had the belts though. Stephanie asked them what they wanted in return and they said their rematch. Stephanie agreed and added them to the match, making it a Triple Threat Tag Team match. On the go-home show, Guerreros faced Benoit and Steiner. Benoit made Chavo tap out with the Sharpshooter, but Team Angle laid out both teams with their regained tag team titles. Can Team Angle retain on their first time on the grand spectacle? Can Benoit and Steiner settle their revenge by winning back some tag team gold? Or will Chavo and Eddie lie, cheat, and steal their way back to holding those straps...only officially?
Shawn Michaels vs. Chris Jericho
- For months Jericho has made it obvious how he grew up idolizing Shawn Michaels. He's wanted his idol's attention so much, but to no avail. He took to imitating HBK, including entering matches like him with his theme music and dressing like him or like The Rockers. It came to a head before No Way Out when Shawn Michaels finally answered the call. Jericho said that he was honored and wanted to thank HBK for everything, including being responsible for the birth of the greatest superstar in wrestling and the very first Undisputed Champion in history. Jericho wanted a handshake but HBK hit him with Sweet Chin Music. Jericho took this personally, and after Shawn's theme music distraction led to a beat down of his buddy Christian at No Way Out, Y2J decided to take things to the next level. Later that night, he cost Shawn the WWE Title by throwing the cage door into his face. The next night, Shawn called out Jericho. Chris didn't show up, repeating what happened the first time Y2J tried. Shawn looked for Y2J all night, only ending up with a chair to the face in an ambush. The next week, Shawn realized what was happening, and called Y2J out one more time. Jericho answered and said that he was tired of being the next Shawn Michaels when he was already the first Chris Jericho. Jericho challenged Shawn to a match at WrestleMania. It was accepted and they started to brawl until security interfered. Things started ramping up as Jericho brought out Marty Janetty. The two had a match that ended with Marty being busted open and tapping out to the Walls of Jericho. HBK popped in too late to save his friend and took a chair of his own to the face to bust him open. Shawn responded the next week by hitting him with Sweet Chin Music. Can HBK win his first WrestleMania match back? Or will Chris Jericho unseat his idol at the showcase of immortals?
WWE Title
Triple H (C) with Ric Flair vs. Booker T
- Booker T has been on a roll since last year and it all culminated by last eliminating The Rock in a battle royal to be the number one contender for the WWE Title. Things...took a turn when Triple H called out Booker's hairstyle and his look and that...people "like him" would never be WWE Champion versus people "like Triple H." Booker responded by beating on him in the ring. Time was spent talking about Booker's criminal past, but that he's done his time and has spent the rest of it earning back respect and becoming a better man so that he can get to this point and know that he's earned it. Booker paid for his attack though and was assaulted by Evolution, left a bloody mess in the ring. Triple H continued to insult Booker who continued to assault Hunter in kind. Unfortunately, somebody always had Triple H's back to keep Booker down. It all came to a head when Booker teamed up with his old friend Goldust to take on Triple H and Ric Flair. With both his opponents ending up bloodied by his hand, it was a Scissors Kick to The Game that kept him down for a three count. With an official win and pinfall over the champion heading into WrestleMania, momentum was on his side. Ric Flair pleaded to Hunter, telling him "you're the best the world has to offer, this is yours, you're the man! And at WrestleMania, Booker T does not stand a chance." Hunter's response was simple and to the point: "nobody told Booker T that." Can Booker T continue his success and wrap-up his first year as an official WWE superstar with the WWE Title? Or will Triple H "put down" the five time WCW Champion in front of 50,000 live?
Street Fight, 20 Years in the Making. If Hogan Loses, He Must Retire.
Hulk Hogan vs. Mr. McMahon
- Ever since Hulk Hogan signed an official contract with SmackDown! after the Royal Rumble, Mr. McMahon has called out the Immortal, claiming that Vince created Hulkamania. Vince was the one who gave Hulk Hogan his first shot and let him run the ball into leading the WWE into unbelievable heights. It was Vince who risked everything to start WrestleMania which jumpstarted Hulk Hogan's career to never before seen highs. Hulk believes that the fans created Hulkamania. Vince told Hogan that he will be facing somebody in a match at WrestleMania XIX that was 20 years in the making. His opponent...Mr. McMahon. At the contract signing, Vince bloodied Hogan and made him sign the contract in his own blood, revealing that it was a Street Fight. Vince hates Hogan for many things: testifying against him in the trial of his life, leaving his company in its worst state by going to WCW, and leaving him to rot at the poison he injected into the WWE. Vince booked Street Fights every week to showcase what was to happen at WrestleMania, but Hogan never had a chance to get his hands on him. Hogan revealed that if he should lose, he would retire, seemingly proving Vince's point right about who created Hulkamania. On the go-home show, a cocky Vince stepped to Hogan only to get put down with a punch. Can The Boss leave his greatest creation a winner? Or will Hulk Hogan leave Safeco Field with his career still intact?
Rock vs. Austin III
The Rock vs. Steve Austin
- At WrestleMania XV, Stone Cold defeated The Rock for the WWE Title. At WrestleMania X-Seven, Stone Cold defeated The Rock for the WWE Title. Ever since those moments, these two's destinies have been tied. At Survivor Series 2002, The Rock interfered and helped get Stone Cold eliminated, nearly costing the WWE everything against the nWo. At the Royal Rumble, The Rock officially returned by costing Austin a shot at the title by eliminating him. The Rock decided to jump to SmackDown! first where Austin couldn't touch him. Things came together at No Way Out where Rock looked poised to win the rematch against Hogan. However, Austin came out and distracted him, leading to Hogan picking up the win. Vince allowed The Rock free reign and Rock moved to Raw where he officially announced that Vince made Austin vs. Rock III for WrestleMania XIX. Austin repeated the distraction by costing Rock a shot at the World Heavyweight Title in a battle royal. Rock then spent weeks belittling Austin and insulting him at every turn. Austin spent weeks training and getting ready, focusing on staying healthy and making this match one of the most important ones of his life. With Rock making Raw seemingly his show, it seemed like he was poised to walk into WrestleMania with all the momentum. Bischoff made a match against Rob Van Dam for the Intercontinental Title, a "tune-up match" for Rock, in Eric's words. Rock was bound to win until Austin distracted him once again, leading to an RVD upset. With the momentum now in Austin's corner, can The Rock finally pick up the win over the rattlesnake at the biggest stage of them all? Or can Austin defeat The Rock for a third time in a row?
World Heavyweight Title
Kurt Angle (C) with Paul Heyman vs. Brock Lesnar
- At Survivor Series, Paul Heyman turned on Brock Lesnar, costing him the World Heavyweight Title and joining Angle as his manager. Ever since then, Angle and Heyman have been ducking Lesnar, fighting everybody but in a bid to avoid the Next Big Thing. It all boiled over when Lesnar won the Royal Rumble to earn his shot at Angle. Lesnar wanted Angle after No Way Out, and Kurt let him. After defeating both members of Team Angle in Gauntlet Match, the match was on...until Heyman whacked Brock in the back with a chair. Team Angle struck and beat down Lesnar in the ring, blasting him with a chair and hitting an Angle Slam through it. Ever since then, Angle and Heyman have been an expert at avoiding Brock. Two weeks before WrestleMania, Stephanie made a match...Lesnar.....vs. Paul Heyman. Paul brought some "contingency plans" including Show, Test, and Team Angle, all of which were put down by Undertaker, Kane, Benoit, and Steiner. With Heyman left in the ring with Brock, it looked like it was over...until Angle whacked Brock in the back of the head with the title. With the scare of a concussion now on the horizon, Brock was looked at. He was cleared and Stephanie had had enough. On the go-home show, she booked Lesnar vs. Angle. The match looked to be over quickly with Brock hitting an F5 to Kurt who hadn't even taken his jacket off. Brock and the referee realized that it wasn't Kurt, who blindsided Lesnar and beat him down in the ring, hitting an Angle Slam and busting him open against with his title. It was a switch! Kurt switched with his brother Eric during Brock's entrance to trick him! With Lesnar fuming and injured going into WrestleMania, is Kurt Angle going to make mincemeat out of the Next Big Thing? Or will Lesnar finally get his revenge and unseat Angle for the World Heavyweight Title that was stolen from him courtesy of Paul Heyman?

Wow you did get me with Rock/Hogan
Here's my picks for Mania 19, that did go down as one of the best Manias ever, so looking forward to see how you top it:
Dudley Boyz Rey Mysterio Undertaker and Kane Jazz Rob Van Dam Eddie and Chavo Shawn Michaels Booker T Hulk Hogan The Rock Brock Lesnar
Expecting Booker to prevent the "Reign of Terror" and win the title. The tag titles should change hands in multi-tag action. Plus, Vinny Mac can't end Hogan's career just as Rock can't lose to Austin at 3 Manias. I don't see Lesnar losing the match, but hopefully he hits the SSP this time. And if Taker loses, I'll just stop reading haha... kidding, or am I?

Live from the Safeco Field in Seattle, Washington

Sunday Night Heat
World Tag Team Titles in a Triple Threat Tag Team Match
Chief Morley and Lance Storm (C) vs. The Dudley Boyz (Bubba Ray Dudley and D-von Dudley) vs. Billy Gunn and Chuck Palumbo Winners: The Dudley Boyz at 9:02
Result: Things get to a raring start in Seattle as the fans in Safeco Field get a damn good three-way tag match. Gunn and Palumbo start off hot by taking it to both teams, but unfortunately end up being cut-off by Morley and Storm's cheating tactics. The Dudleys are raring to enter the match, but every time they are stopped by Storm and Morley. Eventually, Morley whacks Chuck with one half of the tag titles whilst Storm has the ref. Storm follows that up by hitting a Superkick that takes Chuck to the floor. Gunn manages to dodge a Money Shot by Morley, allowing him to tag in to Bubba who enters like a house of fire. From there it seems pretty academic with the Dudleys taking it to Storm and Morley. Eventually, Bubba goes for a 3D to Storm, but Morley whacks D-von in the back. Bubba hits a flapjack to Storm though. Bubba turns around and takes some shots from Morley before he is hit with a Bubba Bomb. Bubba sends Morley flying out of the ring onto an unsuspecting Gunn and Palumbo. Storm tries for another Superkick, but Bubba ducks, leading right into a proper 3D to crown new champs.
Main Card
WWE Cruiserweight Title
Matt Hardy (C) with Shannon Moore vs. Rey Mysterio
Winner: Matt Hardy at 8:37
Result: Rey takes it to Matt for a lot of the start of the match, proving to Matt why he is the true Cruiserweight in the match. Matt doesn't like that, but it isn't until Moore trips Rey up on a springboard that Matt takes advantage. With Rey hanging on the ropes, Matt hits him with a standing elbow drop, not dissimilar to a friend of his' finisher, though it did not lead to the 1-2-3 count. Matt then starts taking it to Rey, hitting him with move after move, but Rey keeps kicking out. Eventually, Matt goes for a Flying Leg Drop, but Rey dodges. Rey hits an enzuguri and some headscissors that takes Matt down. Matt cuts it off by catching Rey mid-air with a Side Effect that nets a two. Rey reverses a Twist of Fate into a tornado DDT. Rey goes for a 619, but Moore again trips him up. Matt capitalizes with a Twist of Fate, but again, Rey kicks out. Moore hops on the apron to argue which is enough for Rey to drop toe hold Matt right into Moore's groin. Rey finally hits a 619. He goes for a West Coast Pop but Matt dodges, sending Rey almost into the ref. When Rey turns around, Matt goes for another Twist of Fate, but Rey reverses it by dropkicking him into the ropes. Rey springs up, but instead of hitting Matt, hits Moore with an Asai Moonsault. Rey gets on the apron and kicks Matt from there before flying over the top into an attempted headscissors. However, Matt grabs the top rope, sending Rey to the mat back first. Matt falls and grips the legs in a victory roll type maneuver. While the ref counts, Matt grips the bottom rope for that extra amount of leverage to retain his title.
------------------
Before the next match, we head backstage where we see a limo pull up. The driver opens the door and Triple H and Ric Flair come out. Hunter looks unhappy as JR and King talk about his match against Booker tonight.
After that, Tony Chimel introduces "the WWE's favorite band in the whole world" who perform "Rollin" live for the Brothers.
(Instead of Undertaker coming out alone, Kane comes out with the motorcycle riding in a sidecar that is obviously too small for him. As they reach the ring and enter, Undertaker shakes hands and hugs Fred while Kane just appears ominously. The performance ends with Kane looming over Fred until Undertaker calms him down.)
The Brothers of Destruction (The Undertaker and Kane) vs. Big Show and Test
Winners: The Brothers of Destruction at 8:42
Result: Undertaker and Kane take turns taking it to Show and Test for while until an unfortunate distraction by Show allows Test to avoid a Chokeslam from Kane by kicking him down low. Test and Show double team Kane for a bit, with Kane kicking out of everything they try. Credit where it's due to Kane, he does keep on fighting though. Eventually, Test goes for a Flying Elbow Drop, but Kane dodges. This is enough for Undertaker to get the hot tag and start taking it to both his opponents. Eventually, Show manages to hit a Chokeslam to him, but Kane breaks up Test's pin. Kane and Show start fighting amongst themselves until Kane clotheslines both himself and Show to the outside. Undertaker hits a Chokeslam to Test while Kane climbs up and nails a Flying Clothesline to Show. Undertaker follows things up with a Tombstone to Test to seal the deal and score his 11th WrestleMania win.
------------------
Before the next match, we get a shot backstage of Booker T entering the arena. JR and King once again talk about his match against Triple H later that night.
Trish also enters with some streamers that go off at the stage, much to the crowd's excitement.
WWE Women's Title in a 6-Pack Challenge
Victoria (C) with Steven Richards vs. Trish Stratus vs. Jazz with Theodore Long vs. Molly Holly vs. Torrie Wilson vs. Dawn Marie
Winner: Trish Stratus at 7:17
Result: With 6 ladies and 7 minutes the action is pretty nonstop. Torrie and Dawn spend a good chunk of it fighting each other, so that leaves the remaining four ladies. Molly, Jazz, and Victoria team up for a few moments to take it to Trish. Eventually, Molly misses a Molly Go Round, nailing Dawn on accident. Torrie breaks it up and starts taking it to the three dominant women. Not long after that, Torrie hits a DDT to Dawn. Jazz breaks the pin up and hits a side slam to Torrie before doing the same to Dawn. They are thrown out of the ring, leaving Jazz to go for a Powerbomb to Molly. Molly breaks out of it and is hit with a spinning slam by Jazz. Trish breaks that pin up and starts to fight back. She hits a Chick Kick to Jazz, but Theodore Long puts her foot on the bottom rope. Steven sees that and threatens him to back-up. He and Long start arguing until Victoria turns Teddy around. One punch later and Teddy is on the floor. Jazz sees this and starts taking the fight to Victoria. As they reenter the ring, Victoria ducks a clothesline by Jazz, having it hit Molly. Victoria then hits a clothesline and Widow's Peak to Jazz. Molly tries for something, but Victoria hits another Widow's Peak to her. With an evil smile on her face, she goes for Trish, who ducks out of the Widow's Peak by hitting a backslide. Victoria kicks out and clotheslines Trish. Victoria goes for a Widow's Peak, but Torrie trips her up, allowing Trish to hit a Stratusfaction to her. Steven pulls Trish off at a two before going for a chair shot. He misses and collides with the top rope, sending it back into his face. Steven then gets a Stratusfaction of his own before hitting a Chick Kick to Victoria. Torrie sees this and looks like she might break it up, but opts instead to continue fighting with Dawn. This allows Trish to regain the title.
------------------
Before the next match, we head backstage where Jonathan Coachman interviews The Rock. And it's about what you expect from Hollywood Rock. He ends it by saying that Austin sold his soul because he needed to win the WWE Title two WrestleManias ago. Well tonight, The Rock needs to beat Stone Cold...and unfortunately for Austin, he has no soul to sell.
WWE Intercontinental Title
Rob Van Dam (C) vs. Jeff Hardy
Winner: Rob Van Dam at 8:21
Result: This is two crowd favorites taking it to each other and trying to one-up the other. Both men trade control early on until RVD misses a Rolling Thunder, allowing Jeff to take advantage. Jeff hits a few suplexes and dives, but every time, RVD kicks out. Jeff hits his inverted Twist of Fate. He nails the Swanton Bomb, but RVD gets his foot on the bottom rope. Jeff starts getting mad, allowing RVD to reverse a mule kick into a spinning heel kick. RVD starts his comeback and begins to gain control over Jeff. Eventually, RVD has Jeff down and goes up top. Jeff joins him and the two begin fighting. Jeff eventually hits a top rope Falcon's Arrow! He goes back up and goes for another Swanton Bomb, but RVD dodges! RVD follows up with a Five Star Frog Splash, twisting mid-air to meet Jeff's positioning and retain his title.
------------------
Before the next match, we head backstage where we see Brock Lesnar stretching and getting ready for the main event while Cole and Tazz build up said match.
WWE Tag Team Titles in a Triple Threat Tag Team Match
Team Angle (Charlie Haas and Shelton Benjamin) (C) vs. Chris Benoit and Scott Steiner vs. Los Guerreros (Eddie and Chavo Guerrero)
Winners: Team Angle at 8:48
Result: For the first part of the match, it really is just the Guerreros, Benoit, and Scott playing a game of "can you top this" by suplexing Haas and Benjamin. Things soon break down and they start fighting. This allows Team Angle to fight out, taking advantage by slamming Chavo shoulder first into an exposed turnbuckle. They isolate Chavo, taking it to him for a while until eventually, Chavo reverses a Leapfrog by hitting a headscissors to Haas out of the ring before Shelton can arrive. Shelton tries to attack Chavo, but Chavo reverses a suplex from the apron into a school boy, which is kicked out of. One dropkick later and Chavo tags in Eddie, who starts like a house of fire. Eddie climbs up top for a Frog Splash, but Benoit blind tags in. One Frog Splash to Shelton later and Eddie is confused when the ref doesn't count. Benoit breaks up the not-a-pin with a Flying Headbutt. Benoit starts taking it to Shelton and Eddie, not noticing the tag that Chavo made. Benoit locks in a Sharpshooter on Shelton, who taps, but the ref waves it off because he's not legal. Scott and the ref argue for a bit, allowing Eddie to grab a chair and go for Benoit. He ducks and it nails Charlie. One Triple German Suplex later and Eddie is out of the ring. The ref doesn't see Shelton low blow Benoit because of Scott's arguing. Scott goes for a butterfly suplex to Shelton, but Chavo hits a dropkick and a splash over the top to Scott. Chavo reenters the ring, but Shelton cuts him off by hot shotting the injured shoulder. Benjamin rolls up Chavo with an O'Connor roll grabs the tights for that extra leverage to keep the titles in tow.
------------------
Before next match, we see Steve Austin entering the arena earlier via his truck. JR and King talk about his match against The Rock tonight.
After that, we get a promo detailing how we got to the next match.
Shawn Michaels vs. Chris Jericho
Winner: Shawn Michaels at 22:13
Result: In a match that will go down in the history books of WrestelMania as one of its greatest, the match starts with Michaels getting the best of Jericho. Jericho looks like he might have control with a well-timed wheel kick, but HBK soon comes back by hitting a back body drop over the top. One baseball dropkick and splash over the top later and HBK retains control. HBK throws Y2J back in and plays to the crowd. Y2J cuts this off with a triangle dropkick, taking HBK back down to the apron. While there, Jericho springs over the top, hitting a knee drop to HBK's face while still on the apron. Y2J starts beating on HBK's back, putting emphasis on that for a bit. Shawn has a few moments of fire, but Chris quickly shuts them down by pulling the hair or raking the eyes or just focusing on the back some more. Jericho starts beating on Michaels a bit more before hitting him with a running leaping forearm. When HBK kicks out, Y2J starts to slap and punch him. Y2J irish whips HBK to the ropes, allowing the latter to start his comeback. After the nip-up, Chris again shuts it down with a butterfly backbreaker. Chris gets Shawn up top, going for a top rope back suplex, but HBK elbows out, sending Jericho to the mat. Shawn then hits a top rope moonsault that only nets a two. Jericho elbows Shawn hard in the face, then in the back. He hits a Running Bulldog and Lionsault that also only gets a two. Chris has enough and locks in the Walls of Jericho. When Shawn gets to the ropes, Jericho argue with the ref. He goes up top and hits a flying back elbow that Shawn kicks out of. With a smirk on his face, Chris sets it up and hits Sweet Chin Music of his own. When Shawn kicks out, Chris can't believe and looks like he's about to cry. Chris goes up top, but Shawn joins him. They fight for a bit until Shawn hits a Superplex to Chris. Shawn goes back up, but Chris crotches him by throwing the ref into the ropes. Chris joins HBK up top, but Shawn fights out, hitting a forward suplex to the mat. He follows it up with a Flying Elbow Drop. Chris ducks Sweet Chin Music once, going for the Walls. Shawn rolls out and hits a Sweet Chin Music to Chris mid-run. Despite this, Jericho kicks out! Shawn tunes up the band, but Chris suddenly rushes towards him. Shawn dodges, sending Chris into the corner and allowing Shawn to hit a unique roll-up that sends Jericho ass-over-kettle and nets HBK the win.
Afterwards, Chris looks sad, but shakes HBK's hand. They then hug and things look all gravy...until Jericho kicks HBK down low and piefaces him to the mat.
------------------
Before the next match, we get a small intermission with John Cena.
(Obviously instead of Coach and Lita it's Cole and Tazz.)
------------------
After that, we get an advertisement for Backlash and what surprise superstar will be make their WWE in-ring debut.
------------------
Before the next match, we head backstage where see Kurt Angle stretching and getting ready in his locker room. Cole and Tazz talk about his match against Lesnar.
After that, we get a promo for the next match, detailing how we got here.
WWE Title
Triple H (C) with Ric Flair vs. Booker T
Winner: Booker T at 18:45
