Out of curiosity, how do you handle a venue changing its name later on?

Out of curiosity, how do you handle a venue changing its name later on? Currently the venues use the 90s names. A lot of the descriptions also have previous and later arena names. I've suggested a simple changes/narratives feature for venues, so that arena name changes can be triggered on preset dates, but this isn't a confirmed feature yet.

My local arena where I used to go and watch WWF shows back in the day has had like four different names over the years depending on sponsorships, so the arena changing names automatically as things progress would be a nice bit of immersion if the feature gets added.
