While working on my Rebooking every Wrestlemania thread, I saw this thread and decided I wanted to take a swing at it. So without further adieu, here's every World (Wide) Wrestling Federation champion rebooked!

The Golden Era (1963-1983)

Buddy Rodgers "wins" the WWWF Championship in a "tournament in Rio de Janeiro".

Bruno Sammartino beats Rodgers in 48 seconds, the fans didn't even realize it at first but soon popped as Bruno is crowned champion. "The Italian Superman" goes on to keep the belt for seven years.

Ivan Koloff defeats Sammartino on January 18, 1971 before losing to Pedro Morales on February 8, 1971.

Pedro Morales would hold on to the belt until losing it to his friend Bruno Sammartino on December 10, 1973 in a rare face vs. face match.

Bruno Smmartino second reign would not last as long as his first reign, only holding on to the belt for four years. The man who would end it would be the one and only, Superstar Billy Graham.

Billy Graham would walk out on April 30, 1977 the biggest heel in the wrestling world, he dominated any challenger and seemed to be unstoppable until he faced off against the American Dream Dusty Rhodes.

Dusty Rhodes would answer the fan's prayers and end Superstar Billy Graham's reign of terror on September 26, 1977. The American Dream would hold on to the WWWF championship until November 30, 1979 when Antonio Inoki would end his reign and become the first Japanese wrestler to win the WWF Championship.

Antonio Inoki's reign would mark an interesting one as he would defend it against both WWF superstars and New Japan superstars, many would try but failed to defeat Inoki and he kept the WWF title around his waist. Inoki would enter 1980 as the WWF Champion but would not walk out of the new decade as champ as former WWF Champion Superstar Billy Graham would defeat him and begin his second reign as WWF Champion.

Superstar Billy Graham would start his reign as a heel but eventually would turn face when feuding with former WWF Champion Ivan Koloff, the two would feud through out 1980 and 1981 with Graham defeating him in a bloody cage match. Graham would reign supreme through out 1982 but in 1983 it would all come to a end.

The Iron Sheik would make Superstar Billy Graham humble as he ended his 3 year reign via the Camel Clutch on December 26, 1983 and would enter 1984 champion but would not walk out champion...

The Hulkamania Era (1984-1992)

Hulk Hogan ends The Iron Sheik's reign on January 23, 1984 and would reign supreme for 5 years. In a Wrestlemania III rematch against Andre The Giant, Hogan would be screwed out of the WWF Championship.

Andre's reign wouldn't last as he was forced to vacate the title by President Jack Tunney and a tournament was set up at Wrestlemania IV to see who would become the new WWF Champion. Many would try to get into the tournament but only a select few would make it. In the end it came down to two men and the winner of that match would be Ricky Steamboat.

Ricky Steamboat would rule 1988 as he defeated many challengers however, at the 1989 Summerslam Steamboat's reign would come to an end via an old foe..

Ric Flair would shock the world by jumping ship to the WWF in 1989 as he made it clear that he wanted the WWF Championship and would do anything to get his hands on it, and at Summerslam he did what he said he was going to do. "The Nature Boy" would use every trick in the book to hold on to the belt as he managed to walk out many arenas with the title but at Wrestlemania VI it all came crashing down.

Hulk Hogan would beat Ric Flair in the biggest dream match in wrestling history on April 1, 1990 at Wrestlemania VI. Hogan was on top of the wrestling world yet again and seemed to have another long term reign but on August 26, 1991 his second reign would come to an end via the hands of Sid Vicious.

Sid would "injure" Hogan and run wild on any challengers making them regret joining the federation, Vicious would enter 1992 the WWF champion but at the Rumble he would get a surprise as Hulk Hogan returned at the Royal Rumble and would win it before defeating him at Wrestlemania VIII.

Hogan would send Vicious packing at Wrestlemania VIII and would yet again rule the WWF and the wrestling world, many tried and failed to dethrone the "Immortal" Hulk Hogan. However, 1993 would mark the arrival of a new era for the WWF.

The New Generation Era (1993-1997)

Bret Hart would kick start a new era by defeating Hulk Hogan at Wrestlemania IX and became the face of the WWF for the "New Generation" era, he would enter a feud with Jerry Lawler following his title victory and that feud would turn personal with the Hart family being mocked by Lawler and at the 1993 Survivor Series Bret alongside his brothers would defeat Lawler and his "knights" with the only Hart member being eliminated was younger brother Owen Hart. This would lead to Owen's heel turn at the 1994 Royal Rumble where he would attack Bret and allow Lawler to become the new WWF Champion.

Jerry Lawler's reign wouldn't last longer however, as he would pick a fight with the Rumble winner The Undertaker and at Wrestlemania X would fall to the deadman.

The Undertaker's first challenger would be King of the Ring winner Yokozuna, the big man had decimated many challengers and looked to have beat the deadman but the power of the urn would help retain the WWF title. His next feud would be with Owen Hart who would pull off the upset of the century when he defeated The Undertaker at Summerslam and became the new WWF Champion.

Owen Hart would proclaim himself "the better Hart" as he was now the WWF Champion instead of his older brother Bret, however the later Hart would go on to win the 1995 Rumble and would not only challenge for Owen's WWF title but would beat him at the grandest stage of them all.

Bret's second reign would be most famous for how it ended when he fought Rumble winner Shawn Michaels in an Iron Man match at Wrestlemania XII where HBK beat Bret 3-2 in sudden death.

Shawn Michaels accomplished his boyhood dream by beating Bret, HBK would be the new face of the WWF with Bret Hart going on hiatus and would take on all challengers to his WWF title. Sadly the boyhood dream would become a nightmare come the 1996 Summerslam.

Vader time had begun on August 18, 1996 when "The Mastodon" defeated "The Heartbreak Kid" at Summerslam ending his boyhood dream and nearly his career. The big man ruled the WWF with an iron fist and decimated any and all challengers to his WWF title including burying former WWF Champion The Undertaker alive at In Your House 11, Vader seemed to have the WWF title on lock until the 1996 Survivor Series where Shawn Michaels returned and defeated Vader in a No Holds Barred match.

Shawn Michaels walked out Madison Square Garden the new WWF Champion, he would also walk out of the Royal Rumble the WWF Champion but come Wrestlemania 13 his reign would come to an end.

Bret Hart would win the WWF title for a third time, being the second man in WWF history to do so. Hart would start the reign as a babyface but eventually would turn heel during a WWF title defense against Stone Cold Steve Austin at In Your House 15 when he refused to let go of the Sharpshooter after the match then attacked Austin while he was down, he would join up with his younger brother Owen alongside Jim Neidhart and the British Bulldog and reform the Hart Foundation. Thankfully his reign would come to an end at the hands of The Undertaker at Summerslam, with a little help from Steve Austin.

The Undertaker brought the belt back to the US of A during the US vs. Canada angle. His title reign would be short lived however when during a Hell in a Cell match between him and former champion Bret Hart, his brother Kane debuted and costed his brother The Undertaker the match and the title.

Bret Hart would capture his fourth WWF Championship and become the first ever to do so, his fourth reign would pick up where his third ended with retaining against former champion The Undertaker. He would defend the belt against Shawn Michaels in a cage match at In Your House 19 before dropping it at Wrestlemania XIV to help kick off the Attitude era.

The Attitude Era (1998-2000)

Stone Cold Steve Austin would usher in the Attitude Era when he beat Bret Hart at Wrestlemania XIV, the "Texas Rattlesnake" raised hell and kept his WWF Championship around his waist until the 1998 Survivor Series when The Rock turned heel and joined with the Corporation and screwed Austin out of the WWF Championship.

The Rock layed the Smackdown on any challengers to his WWF title, "the Corporate champion" viciously beat Mankind at the 1999 Royal Rumble and defeated the returning Ric Flair at In Your House 27. However at Wrestlemania XV he would eat a stunner and drop the belt to Stone Cold Steve Austin.

Austin and Rock would continue to feud up to Backlash where Austin beat The Rock again and before Rock turned face. At Over The Edge his title reign came to an end when long time rival Owen Hart beat him for the WWF title.

Owen Hart was a different person than he was when he first one the WWF title, he no longer cared about being the better Hart but being the better wrestler than all of the WWF's roster. "The Game" showcased his wrestling ability and made it known to any future challengers that it would be a hard battle to take his WWF title away, and at Summerslam The Rock fought that hard fight and walked out the new WWF champion.

The Rock beat Owen Hart at Summerslam 1999 in front of his millions and millions of fans before continuing to defend his WWF title from any and all challengers, at the 1999 Survivor Series the wrestling world would be in shock as Hollywood Hulk Hogan returned to the WWF and beat The Rock.

Hollywood Hogan had shocked the world by reappearing in the WWF and beating The Rock for the WWF title, Hogan would hold on to the belt for the remainder of 1999 and kept hold off it until Wrestlemania 2000 where he lost it in a dream match against Stone Cold Steve Austin.

Steve Austin won his third WWF title in wrestling's biggest dream match at Wrestlemania 2000 and held on to the title for most of 2000 until he was defeated by Kurt Angle at Fully Loaded.

Kurt Angle's victory was shocking, no one thought he could do it but he proved to everybody that he could and would continue to hold to the belt until No Mercy where Shawn Michaels beat him to become the WWF Champion for a third time.

Shawn Michaels would make the comeback of the year by beating Kurt Angle at No Mercy, he hadn't wrestled since Wrestlemania XV. HBK would continue to defend his WWF title in many classics including a dream match between The Rock, Michaels' reign would end in his home state of Texas against fellow Texan Steve Austin at WrestleMania X7.

The Fall of Attitude (2001-2002)

Stone Cold's fourth title reign would come at an interesting time in the wrestling industry, WCW and ECW were dead and were bought out by the WWF ending the Monday Night Wars. However in storyline, WCW had invaded the WWF as a last messure against the company and Austin would lead the WWF in the battle against the WCW superstars, defending the WWF title against WCW stars like Diamond Dallas Page and Ric Flair. But eventually the Alliance got one over WWF when at King of The Ring, Booker T debuted in the WWF and helped Goldberg to win the WWF title.

Goldberg was the first WCW star to win the WWF championship, he beat Steve Austin again in a rematch at InVasion before his reign ended at Summerslam to by the returning Rock.

The Rock alongside Stone Cold Steve Austin lead the WWF against WCW through out the InVasion angle and at Survivor Series 2001 the two co lead Team WWF against Team WCW where Austin became the sole survivor, Rock successfully defended his title until Vengeance Kurt Angle in the first match to unite both WWF and WCW Championships.

Kurt Angle wins the WWF title from The Rock then goes on to win the WCW title from Sting and becomes the first Undisputed WWF Champion, Angle holds on to the Undisputed WWF title until Wrestlemania X8 where Hollywood Hulk Hogan beats him for the belts.

Hogan became the first WWF superstar to win the WWF title five times and he becomes the first WWE champion, he retained the belt against Angle at Backlash and against Sting at King of the Ring then both The Rock and The Undertaker before dropping it to Brock Lesnar at Summerslam.

The Ruthless Aggression Era: The SmackDown years (2002-2005)

Brock Lesnar would become the youngest WWE Champion ever at Summerslam when he beat Hollywood Hulk Hogan and officially became "the next big thing" in wrestling, after his title win Lesnar would take the title to SmackDown and defend it exclusively on that brand. Lesnar was a dominant heel champion with Paul Heyman at his side until Survivor Series that year when Heyman would turn on the champ and help The Big Show become the new WWE Champion.

Show's reign would only last a month thanks to Kurt Angle, who beat Show at Armageddon that year.

Angle would hold on to the WWE title until Wrestlemania XIX in a classic match against Brock Lesnar who hit an amazing shooting star press onto Angle before ending his reign with an F-5.

Lesnar's second reign would feature successful defenses against John Cena, The Big Show, and another defense against Kurt Angle but at Summerslam Lesnar would be beaten by Booker T.

Booker T had previously fought for the title during the InVasion angle but would lose against then champ The Rock, but now Booker had finally realized his dream and became the WWE champion. At No Mercy Booker would retain the belt against Kurt Angle before losing it to Brock Lesnar at the Survivor Series.

Lesnar's third reign would be his longest as he kept the title from Survivor Series in 2003 up to Wrestlemania XX where he'd lose the title to Eddie Guerrero before he would leave the WWE to heal injuries.

Eddie would cheat his way to the belt at Mania XX to fan delight and became the new face of the SmackDown brand, he would successfully defend against Kurt Angle, Booker T, and Rob Van Dam before he would be beaten by a returning Diamond Dallas Page.

DDP returned to the WWE at the 2004 Royal Rumble before joining the SmackDown brand, he beat Eddie Guerrero for the WWE Championship at Summerslam, he'd retain against Guerrero at No Mercy before being defeated by Kurt Angle on the October 21st episode of SmackDown.

Kurt would retain against DDP at Survivor Series then retain against The Undertaker at Armageddon, at the Royal Rumble he would defeat Eddie Guerrero before he would lose the WWE title at WrestleMania 21 to John Cena.

The Ruthless Aggression Era: The RAW years (2005-2008)

John Cena was a SmackDown superstar when he won the WWE Championship and for a few months he defended it as a Smackdown superstar until the 2005 draft lottery where Cena was drafted to RAW, and bringing the WWE title back to RAW since 2002. Cena held on the belt for the remainder of 2005 but at the New Year's Resolution ppv after Cena successfully defended his title in an elimination chamber when suddenly Edge cashed in his Money in the Bank contract and defeated Cena to become WWE Champion.

Edge's reign would last until Wrestlemania 22 where John Cena beat him in a TLC match to regain his WWE Championship.

John Cena would retain against Edge at Backlash before defeating RVD at ECW One Night Stand and then Shawn Michaels at Vengeance, at Summerslam Cena's reign came to an end as Brock Lesnar returned to the WWE after leaving for a failed stint in the NFL.

Brock would successfully defend against both John Cena and Edge at Unforgiven leaving both men in a heap, and had no challengers for his title come Cyber Sunday when the fans voted for The Rock to face off against him at the ppv and then beat Brock with Edge returning and attacking Lesnar unbeknown to Rock.

The Rock would feud with Brock Lesnar for a couple of months until beating him in a Hell in a Cell match at the 2007 New Year's Resolution, at Wrestlemania 23 The Rock would lose to AJ Styles in a passing of the torch moment.

AJ Styles first reign featured classic matches against Edge, Shawn Michaels, Brock Lesnar, and against Randy Orton who would defeat him in a Last Man Standing match at No Mercy.

Randy Orton's reign lasted through 2007 and ended at Wrestlemania XXIV when the "Legend Killer" was defeated by the Legendary Sting

Sting would finally capture the WWE title after 7 years of trying, the icon would keep the title with him for the remainder of the year before he'd lose it at Wrestlemania 25 where he'd lose it to The Undertaker and the WWE title would return to Smackdown.

The Ruthless Agression Era: The Final Years (2009-2011)

The Undertaker brought the WWE Championship back to Smackdown, he would lose the title after successfully defending it against Edge at The Bash when Mark Henry cashed in his Money in the Bank contract and defeated him to become the new WWE Champion.

Henry dominated many challengers to his title until he lost to Batista in a Steel Cage match at Summerslam.

Batista would finally win the WWE Championship and successfully defended it against the likes of Mark Henry, The Undertaker, Eddie Guerrero, and Brock Lesnar. At Wrestlemania XXVI he would lose the belt to long time friend Rey Mysterio.

Mysterio had never been a world champion prior to his WWE title victory at Wrestlemania, Rey would remain champ until Fatal 4 Way where Edge pinned him after Mysterio received a chokeslam from The Undertaker.

Edge would become WWE champion for a second time and would use every trick in the book to remain the WWE Champion until AJ Styles cashed in his Money in the Bank at TLC to become the new WWE Champion.

AJ Styles would go on to retain the belt against Randy Orton at Royal Rumble (thanks to unwanted help from CM Punk), John Cena at Wrestlemania XXVII, and The Big Show at Extreme Rules. Styles' reign

would end in controversy at Money in the Bank where CM Punk beat him for the WWE title and "left" the company after.

The PG Era (2011-2013)

CM Punk's reign would become controversial as soon as it started as Punk promised he would leave the WWE and take the title with him, he would beat AJ Styles to fulfill his promise. The next night on RAW, Shane McMahon (who would become the new COO after firing his father Vince) would declare the WWE Championship as vacant and a tournament would be held at Summerslam where John Cena would emerge victorious.

John Cena's third reign was not as popular as his first two, many called him a fake champion and through out his matches chants of "CM PUNK!" can be heard. His third reign would come to an end at Hell in a Cell where after defeating Mark Henry in a Hell in a Cell match, Daniel Bryan cashed in his Money in the Bank contract and beat Cena to become the new WWE Champion.

Daniel Bryan would walk out both Hell in a Cell and 2011 as WWE Champion, everything seemed to be going his way until the Royal Rumble when CM Punk returned and brought back the WWE title he won at Money in the Bank. Punk called Bryan out and made it known that he was the real WWE Champion and not Bryan, eventually this would lead to a title unification match at Wrestlemania XXVIII where Punk would walk out Undisputed WWE Champion.

Punk's second reign would be his longest as he would go undefeated for the remainder of 2012 as he beat such names as John Cena, Daniel Bryan, Edge, and Brock Lesnar. His reign would come to an end at Wrestlemania 29 when Randy Orton would capture his second WWE title.

Randy Orton's second reign lasted from Wrestlemania 29 to Night of Champions where Kofi Kingston defeated Orton in a huge upset.

Kofi Kingston became the fourth African American WWE Champion and elevated the title to new heights with the matches he put on, however his reign would come to an end at TLC when World Heavyweight Champion Christian defeated him to unite both belts.

The Reality Era (2013-2016)

Christian would finally realize his dream of being the WWE Champion by defeating Kofi Kingston at TLC and uniting his World Heavyweight title and Kofi's WWE title, however his reign would come to an end at Wrestlemania XXX when CM Punk beat him.

CM Punk tried to recreate the length of his second WWE title reign but ironically at Money in the Bank his third reign would come to an end when AJ Styles cashed in and beat Punk to become the new WWE Champion.

AJ Styles would enter a feud with Randy Orton following his title win, the feud would end with Styles retaining at The Great American Bash. He would then enter a feud with John Cena who would shock the world by turning heel and defeating Styles at Night of Champions.

Cena had enough of the constant "Cena sucks" chants and finally snapped, he's more brutal and dominates any challenger to his WWE title. The WWE needed a hero, and they would get one when at the Royal Rumble The Undertaker returned and won the Rumble match. He then challenged and beat John Cena at Wrestlemania 31.

The Undertaker walked out Wrestlemania 31 the new WWE champion, and for a couple of months retained the title. At Summerslam however, he'd lose the belt to Daniel Bryan in an absolute classic and passed the torch.

Daniel's win at Summerslam was what many fans wanted to see ever since he lost the title back in 2012, Bryan would go on to hold onto the belts until Extreme Rules when he was beaten by Batista.

Batista's second reign would last up to Summerslam when he'd lose to Cesaro.

Cesaro beat Batista in a victory no one saw coming, Cesaro would retain the title for the remainder of 2016 until Survivor Series when Kevin Owens beat him.

Owens' walked out Survivor Series and 2016, but at Wrestlemania 33 Kevin Owens would lose the WWE title.
