This was a crazy fun game to play. Seemed like the Brave couldn't stop getting runs. Asa Brainard proved why he's called "The Count" because he was just racking up strikeout like a rich man counting his $20's.

And then there was Anson & Pike, the 2 guys laying in the runs for the game. It's no wonder that these 2 guys along with Asa Brainard are definitely gonna be one of the 1st set of guys in the MLB HoF. That's already easy to see.

Final Score: Braves (8) over Red Stockings (0)

So far, I'm really liking Asa, Lip Pike, & Cap Anson. These guys are definitely proving to be franchise players for the Boston Braves. Asa is showing he's a top notch pitcher, Lip Pike is an amazing in field batter while Cap Anson is like the predecessor to Babe Ruth (who will be here in like another 40 to 50 years). I can see a playoff run, possibly even a world series spot. Still early in Spring Training...
