Match One: The Gym Nasty Boys vs Violence is Forever

The Gym Nasty Boys might be skilled technically but they were no match for Violence is Forever in this opening contest. Dominick Garini wasn't able to join his partner Ku last month but made up for lost time, forcing Timmy Lou Retton to submit.

Winners: Violence is Forever

Match Two: Trevor Outlaw vs Joey Janela

Hardcore Match

Joey Janela came out next to speak his mind. He said that while his main goal in CCW is to get back to the title, he has to take a little detour to teach a lesson to someone who has done nothing but disrespect the CCW locker room since day one, Trevor Outlaw. Outlaw came out and tried to claim he didn't have any idea what Janela was talking about it but we all know that's a lie. Janela challenged Outlaw to a hardcore match on the spot and Outlaw accepted begrudgingly. He probably shouldn't have because Joey beat him up pretty badly and gave him a Package Piledriver on a pile of chairs for the victory.

Winner: Joey Janela

Segment: EYFBO are in CCW?!

Before the next match could be announced, Santana and Ortiz came out to snatch the mic. They said that they've been watching CCW very closely and that a lot of the best tag teams have been coming here recently so next month, they want to face the toughest challenge that CCW can throw at them.

Match Three: Argos/Faces of Death vs Luchadores del Santos/El Mariachi Loco

Trios action returned to CCW tonight with this lucha showcase. Of course, there is very little love lost between LdS and the Faces of Death, and that was on display tonight with both teams going full force at one another to try and get the advantage in this rivalry. When the smoke cleared and the bell rang, it was Samuray Del Sol pinning Argos that decided this one.

Winners: Luchadores del Santos

Match Four: Lio Rush vs Blake Christian

Lio Rush came out next to call out Blake Christian. Rush and Christian have had a rivalry spanning several promotions and Rush wants to prove he can beat the best and get a title shot. Christian accepted the challenge and these two matched each other step for step. Neither could get a meaningful advantage and it led to the first ever time limit draw in CCW at fifteen minutes. After the match, Rush went to offer Christian a handshake but Blake stared him down and walked away.

Winner: Time Limit Draw

Match Five: The Sydal Brothers vs Motor City Machine Guns

No Disqualification Match

CCW Tag Team Titles

The fans loved this one so much last month that we had to run it back again, this time for the titles. Neither team held back, digging deep in their repertoires in an attempt to leave with the titles but only one duo could be successful. It was Matt Sydal falling victim to Made in Detroit from the champions in the closing moments of this match that led to the pinfall and the finish. But, instead of a title celebration, the Guns get a surprise Party! That's right, Private Party are healthy again and they let their presence be known by attacking the champions from behind and holding the belts up high.

Winners: Motor City Machine Guns

Match Six: Lee Moriarty vs Effy

No Disqualification Match

CCW North American Title

CCW management announced Moriarty for this show but didn't announce a match for him, that's because Lee wanted to come out tonight to accept the Effy North American Title Open Challenge. Effy, never one to back down from a fight, naturally stepped up and defended his title with all he was worth. Both men traded advantages with Lee scoring several nearfalls but Effy isn't ready to give the title up yet and piledrove his way to another month with the belt.

Winner: Effy

Match Seven: AJ Gray vs Keith Lee

No Disqualification Match

CCW International Title

AJ Gray won this opportunity last month and he intended to make the most of it. On more than one occasion, it looked as though the Truth would finally get his hands on CCW gold but there is no limit to Keith Lee's dominance in CCW, scoring the victory and keeping the belt a little longer.

Match One: Mascara Dorada vs Ninja Mack vs Lince Dorado vs El Mariachi Loco

These guys have previously faced off in tag action but tonight was all about proving who the best was individually. The Faces of Death worked as a team through most of this match but it was Mascara Dorada that scooped the win with a pinfall on Mariachi Loco.

Winner: Mascara Dorada

Match Two: AJ Gray vs AC Mack vs Alex Zayne vs Trevor Outlaw vs the DangerKid vs Ninja Mack

Scramble Match

Once again, we have a scramble match showcasing the best in CCW and they all delivered this evening. Outlaw tried to cheat his way to another win but the chaotic environment of a scramble didn't lend itself to his tactics. Gray and Mack effectively took themselves out of the match in an effort to eliminate Outlaw, clearing the way for Alex Zayne to pin Ninja Mack for the win.

Winner: Alex Zayne

Match Three: Sydal Brothers vs Luchadores del Santos

Before this one could get started, the Sydals talked about coming up short last month in their pursuit of the tag team titles and blamed it on "blatant favoritism on the part of officials in favor of the Guns." Very rude. They claimed they deserved another shot which upset Luchadores del Santos who definitely deserve the shot more. It's hard to argue against the Luchadores after this encounter which saw Gringo Loco pin Mike Sydal following a spectacular top rope powerbomb.

Winners: Luchadores del Santos

Match Four: Lio Rush vs Blake Christian

Blake Christian was out first to talk about his match with Rush last month. He said that while they may have hit the time limit, he never hit his limit and that tonight's match would have no time limit. That ended up not mattering though as once more, neither man could claim definitive victory over the other following a roll-up attempt from Rush that saw both men's shoulders get counted down. Neither was happy but both have made it very clear this is not the last time we will see them face off.

Winner: Draw

Match Five: ??? vs EYFBO

Last month, EYFBO debuted by challenging any team in CCW to face them. This month, a brand new team to CCW debuted to answer the challenge as Jack Evans and Angelico, The Hybrid 2, arrived. Both teams fought hard in this double debut match but it was the power of EFYBO that made the difference in this bout, out-muscling TH2 to get the victory.

Winners: EYFBO

Match Six: Orin Veidt vs Effy

Hardcore Match

CCW North American Title

Orin Veidt was out next to let everyone know that he was changing the stipulation of the match that he challenged Effy to on social media. Instead of the traditional No Disqualification rules that CCW title matches are fought under, Orin wanted Hardcore rules. Death Match Daddy was more than happy to oblige, showing Veidt that he was just as comfortable swinging light tubes as he is any other time. Effy brought the violence to a whole new level when he gave Veidt a piledriver through a pane of glass to retain his title.

Match Seven: Private Party vs Motor City Machine Guns

No Disqualification Match

CCW Tag Team Titles

This is the match we were supposed to see to crown the first ever champions and the long wait just made these guys hungrier to get their hands on each other. Private Party used as many underhanded tactics as they could manage, using the lack of rules to their advantage at multiple points but the champions were just one step ahead, taking everything the challengers could throw at them and then some. In the end, it was Made in Detroit that ensured the champions kept their gold on this evening.

Winners: Motor City Machine Guns

Match Eight: Paul London vs Keith Lee

No Disqualification Match

CCW International Title

During the last month, Paul London has made it clear that he wanted this match and Keith Lee gave it to him. What wasn't clear until London spoke before this match was that London intends to make 2023 his last year as an in-ring competitor and he wanted to start that year with the title. Unfortunately, despite having the experience advantage, London was unable to topple the dominant champion, falling victim to the Spirit Bomb like so many before him.

Winner: Keith Lee

Match One: AC Mack vs Marcus Mathers vs Lee Moriarty vs Ninja Mack vs Trevor Outlaw vs El Hijo del Misterioso vs the DangerKid

Scramble Match

Chaos is a great way to start a show, right? Well that's what happened here tonight as the Scramble started the action. Everyone got their shots in on Outlaw. I'm pretty sure he keeps ending up in these so people can hit him. Both Macks traded pinfall attempts but it was Mack, AC that got the win in this opening bout.

Winner: AC Mack

Match Two: Lio Rush vs Blake Christian

Two Out of Three Falls

Before this one got underway, Rush got on the microphone to say that he respects Blake as a competitor but that Blake is a disrespectful man and after tonight, win or lose, he's done with Blake. Luckily for Lio, he gets to close this chapter of his career on a victory. Rush picked up the first fall with a Final Hour and almost immediately fell victim to a 2K1 Driver for Blake to get the second fall. It all came down to the third fall which saw Rush score with the Rush Hour from the top rope to get the victory.

Winner: Lio Rush

Score: 2-1

Match Three: Faces of Death vs Luchadores del Santos

This rivalry match had championship implications as the winner of this bout was to be granted a title shot at Wrestleodeon 2: Reptar's Revenge. This one was just as evenly match as we have come to expect from these teams but Mascara Dorada was able to take advantage of a minor mistake by Samuray Del Sol to get the win and the title shot for his team.

Winners: Faces of Death

Match Four: Joey Janela vs WARHORSE

Hardcore Match

Joey put out on social media that he wanted a fight this month. WARHORSE decided to step up. Then Joey made it a hardcore match and WARHORSE was a little less sure about it but hey, here we are. WARHORSE looked good, taking more punishment than we've seen him take in CCW and dishing out a lot of hurt in return. Janela was more at home in this kind of match though, using the plunder to his advantage and picking up a win.

Winner: Joey Janela

Match Five: Private Party vs Motor City Machine Guns

Ladder Match

CCW Tag Team Titles

Once more, these two great times battled it out for the CCW Tag Team Titles and once again they put on an absolute classic of a tag team bout. Taking full advantage of the plethora of ladders around the ring to showcase some truly innovative offense. Private Party has proven to be the best team in CCW in ladder matches in the past and were able to add another to the list, becoming two time champions tonight.

Winners: Private Party

Match Six: Scorpio Sky vs Effy

No Disqualification Match

CCW North American Title

Effy hasn't turned down a challenge yet, regardless of if his opponent is sign to CCW or not. Tonight, AEW's Scorpio Sky made a one night only appearance in CCW to try and dethrone Daddy but it was not to be. Effy has racked up one of the most impressive winning streaks in CCW and tonight he added another name to that list, pinning Sky and retaining his title.

Winner: Effy

Match Seven: Alex Zayne vs Keith Lee

No Disqualification Match

CCW International Title

Zayne has proven over the last few months to be the King of the Scramble Match and because of that, CCW management granted him this title shot. Zayne got closer than anyone else has so far in attempting to take the title from Lee but could not get the job done. It was a hurricanrana attempt that was turned into a Spirit Bomb that sealed the victory for Lee.

Winner: Keith Lee

CCW Year One Wrap-Up

We are officially through the first year of CCW events. As we move on, things get a little more oriented towards angles so that's kinda fun. In the meantime, here's a quick rundown of the current champions, the next year of event names, plus a preview of the card for CCW Wrestleodeon 2: Reptar's Revenge. Faces of Death vs Private Party

The Faces of Death earned this title shot by defeating their rivals Luchadores del Santos and want to make their mark on the tag division. The new champions aren't going to give their titles up that easily though. Which team will prevail when they clash at Wrestleodeon?

Ninja Mack vs Blake Christian vs WARHORSE vs Lee Moriarty

Four Way Match

This match has major implications for the future of CCW as the winner gets a title shot of their choice. Blake Christian desperately wants to get back in the title scene while newcomer Lee Moriarty has already come close to winning CCW gold. Ninja Mack and WARHORSE both need a major breakout performance and this could be the chance to do it.

EYFBO vs the Motor City Machine Guns

In another match with title implications, these teams will battle it out for a shot at the gold. Will the former champions get another chance at their rivals or will the newcomers to CCW be next in line?

Match One: Luchadores del Santos vs Lucha Legacy

We opened this, the first anniversary celebration for CCW, with an air show. These teams went above and beyond to get the crowd hot to start the night in this match where the winners earned a future title shot. The young, hungry Lucha Legacy did their best to topple the more seasoned team but it was not to be as Luchadores del Santos got the win and future title shot.

Winners: Luchadores del Santos

Match Two: Bear Country vs Violence is Forever

Bear Country told everyone before the match that they aren't afraid of Violence is Forever but like, maybe they should have been? Ku and Garini took turns tossing and torturing their larger opponents, showing off some pretty cool submissions on the way to a submission victory.

Winners: Violence is Forever

Match Three: Alexander Lee vs AC Mack

Before the match, AC Mack told everyone that he plans to go straight to the top of CCW in 2023. I wish him the best. Lee, usually a tag team guy, looked a little out of place in this bout and it did not do him any favors as it just took a Mack 10 for AC Mack to get the win.

Winner: AC Mack

Match Four: The Sydal Brothers vs The Hybrid 2

The Sydals claim to be better wrestlers and better looking than TH2. They could only attempt to prove one of those claims tonight but TH2 didn't make it easy on them. Evans and Sydal both know each other very well from their years of history and that knowledge helped Matt get the pinfall victory over his former Generation Next cohort.

Match Five: Orin Veidt vs Joey Janela
Hardcore Match

This match wasn't even supposed to happen and Orin Veidt is probably wishing it didn't. Janela came out to say that he wanted anyone in CCW in a hardcore match tonight and Orin accepted. It wasn't his night, however, as the Bad Boy was more bloodthirsty tonight, picking up the win. Janela was giving off an air of anger and frustration previously unseen before tonight, I'm sure that's nothing.

Winner: Joey Janela

Match Six: EYFBO vs the Motor City Machine Guns

#1 Contender Match

Both of these teams badly want a title shot; EYFBO are hoping to prove themselves as the best new team in CCW while MCMG are hoping to return to the lofty heights of tag team gold. Only one team could win this collision and, despite the Guns getting a pinfall in theory while the ref was out, it was the team of Santana and Ortiz that were able to secure the win and the title shot at next month's show, the Fix!

Winners: EYFBO

Match Seven: Ninja Mack vs Blake Christian vs Lee Moriarty vs WARHORSE

In another match with title implications, these four men battled it out for a shot at any CCW title. That's right, any title. Any of these guys could have won this match multiple times over but in the end, Lee Moriarty stood above all others. Not wanting to wait to call his shot, Lee said that no matter has the title next month, the North American Champion needs to be on the lookout for Lee.

Winner: Lee Moriarty

Match Eight: Faces of Death vs Private Party

No Disqualification Match

CCW Tag Team Titles

The Faces of Death have spent the better part of the last year taking on the toughest challenges in CCW but this was the toughest yet, the tag team champions. Private Party cut a promo before the bout telling everyone that they're just starting their second reign and they don't want to give them up to anyone and they held true to those words tonight, pinning Lince Dorado to get the victory and keep their belts.

Winners: Private Party

Match Nine: Lio Rush vs Effy

No Disqualification Match

CCW North American Title

Lio Rush challenged Effy in the past and came up short. Tonight was about redemption for the young, confident Rush but few can match Effy in big match situations. Despite the best efforts of the challenger, including a pre-match interview where he claimed to have figured out the formula to keep the champ down, Daddy is still home as Effy left another CCW event with his North American title.

Winner: Effy

Match Ten: ??? vs Keith Lee

No Disqualification Match
CCW International Title

CCW management promised a surprise opponent for International Champion Keith Lee and it's, it's...Tyler?! The former Tyler Breeze, now christened Tyler Wild, is here in CCW to put the Uggos on alert. Seriously, that's what he said before the match. He even called Lee an Uggo, which got the fans chanting "No you're not." Look at that guy, he's a big ol teddy bear. Anyway, when the trash talk was over, only one man had the title and that man was the Limitless champion. Breeze was not happy about the result, obviously, screaming about a rematch. Surely management didn't Breeze any sort of rematch clause.

Winner: Keith Lee

Match One: Violence is Forever vs Brett Idol/Chandler Hopkins

Violence is Forever promised an "exhibition of ability" in the lead-up to this event. That turned out to be these two beating the hell out of two jobbers. It was brutal and the ref did the right thing by stopping this one pretty early on.

Winners: Violence is Forver

Match Two: Delta and Phoenix Star vs Los Luchadores del Santos

This lucha tag match saw the CCW return of Delta and Phoenix. Unfortunately for them, they were up against on of the hottest teams in CCW in Los Luchadores del Santos. Both teams went all out this evening to give the fans an exciting match and in the end, it was Gringo Loco pinning Delta to secure the victory for his team.

Winners: Los Luchadores del Santos

Match Three: AJ Gray vs Joey Janela

This match happened fairly recently in CCW but fan response as well as continued tension between these two guys meant we had to run it. This time, it wasn't hardcore and the only thing on the line was pride but with a ref willing to let a little more fly than usual, these two got down and dirty in Dallas. Brawling around the arena and even into the parking lot briefly, these guys beat the piss out of one another until only one man was left standing. That man was a Bad Boy as Janela scooped up the win.

Winner: Joey Janela

Match Four: Alex Zayne vs Argos vs the DangerKid vs Aiden Aggro vs Orin Veidt vs Paul London

Scramble Match

Prior to this match getting underway, Alex Zayne talked about coming up short against Keith Lee back at Ragged Glory and pledged to earn another shot the title. Wishing him the best in that pursuit. Tonight wasn't his night however, as the combined effort from both Aiden Aggro and DangerKid to ensure an MSP victory in this multi-man match successful. Working as a team throughout the match, Aggro and TDK systematically took out each opponent until it came down to them and London. While London did put up a valiant effort, he came up short as The DangerKid picked up the win.

Winner: The DangerKid

Match Five: Lio Rush vs Ninja Mack

This match was unannounced on this evening and that may have been a good thing. Rush came out to complain about not being on the card which brought out Ninja Mack. On paper, this match sounded like an absolute dream but in practice, it was just really awkward. Both men seemed a little off their game but still turned in a decently entertaining bout which saw Lio Rush get the pinfall.

Winner: Lio Rush

Match Six: Four Way Tag Team Match

Tag Team Title #1 Contender Match

It was time for multi-team madness up next as four of the top teams in CCW battled it out for a shot at the CCW Tag Team Titles. TH2, Lucha Legacy, the Motor City Machine Guns, and the Sydals all thought they had legitimate claim to those titles and put everything on the line in this high flying spectacle that saw the action get just as explosive outside the ring as it did. Unfortunately for three teams in this match, only one could win and that team was the Motor City Machine Guns who scored late with Made in Detroit on El Hijo del Dr. Wagner to secure their title shots at next month's Seeing Sounds.

Winners: Motor City Machine Guns

Match Seven: Lee Moriarty vs Effy

No Disqualification Match

CCW North American Title

Moriarty has challenged Effy for the title in the past and just came up barely short so after winning a four way for whatever title shot he wanted last month at Wrestleodeon 2, Moriarty called out Daddy. Effy has kept an iron grip on his title for the better part of the last nine months, fending off challengers in a variety of matches but tonight, the Apex of Combat took the Weapon of Sass Destruction to his absolute limit. He also took Effy to a time limit draw as these two battled it out for thirty minutes straight. The last few moments of the contest saw each men throw absolute offensive bombs at one another in attempt to leave with the title and bragging rights. Both men were down as the bell rang to close the match but a mutual show of respect by way of handshake after the match ended the night for both men.

Winner: Time Limit Draw

Match Eight: EYFBO vs Private Party

No Disqualification Match

CCW Tag Team Titles

Last month, EYFBO bested the Motor City Machine Guns to earn this title shot and they did not plan to let it go to waste. Private Party made the mistake of angering EYFBO with some taunting words about remaining the champions and paid for it once the bell rang. Santana and Ortiz brawled with the champions all around the arena, taking out a fair amount of seating and some tables along the way. Private Party did everything they could to hold on to the gold but it was not to be as Ortiz pinned Quin to begin EYFBO's first CCW Tag Title reign.

Winners: EYFBO

Match Nine: Tyler Wild vs Keith Lee

No Disqualification Match

CCW International Title

Tyler Wild can't stop calling Keith Lee ugly. He did it last month, he did it this month, and he did it on social media in between. What a jerk. Anyway, this match was mostly dominated by Lee who wanted to make a statement of dominance tonight with a successful retention but Wild had one up on Lee, hitting a low blow and a Beauty Shot to get the win and the title! Before Lee could react, Wild was on the run with his newly one belt.

Winner: Tyler Wild

Match One: Ninja Mack vs Jack Evans

As is tradition for CCW shows, we got a hot, high flying start to this evening as Ninja Mack took on Jack Evans. Evans' partner Angelico was injured and couldn't compete on tonight's show, as a result, Evans wanted to prove himself a capable singles wrestler in CCW. While the veteran did bust out some astounding offense, the safe bet was on Mack who got the pin following a Phoenix 630 Splash.

Match Two: Lucha Legacy vs Violence is Forever

Violence is Forever has been tearing their way through the tag division in CCW, thus far proving to be seemingly impossible to beat. Lucha Legacy thought they were up to the task and came closer than any team has in CCW to getting the win against ViF but Garrini choked out El Hijo del Misterioso to continue ViF's roll.

Match Three: Keith Lee vs AJ Gray

AJ Gray has experienced mixed success in CCW and decided that he wanted to change his fortune. He decided the best way to do that would be to call out the former CCW International Champion, Keith Lee. What a bold strategy. It almost paid off for him tonight as on multiple occasions it looked like the Truth would walk away with the victory, scoring nearfalls after a Burning Lariat and an Emerald Flowsion but the Limitless Lee had enough to withstand that and then some, putting the determined Gray down for the three count after a Spirit Bomb.

Winner: Keith Lee

Match Four: Marcus Mathers vs El Mariachi Loco vs Alex Zayne vs Blake Christian vs Paul London vs Orin Veidt vs WARHORSE vs Trevor Outlaw

Scramble Match

This was one of the more populated Scramble matches in CCW history with everyone trying to have a standout performance. Every man went above and beyond to make an impression on CCW management with lots of chaotic offense spilling out of the ring and around the ringside area. Before the match, Blake Christian said that whoever wins the main event Iron Man match between Effy and Lee Moriarty has a challenge to look forward to from him and he built momentum towards that challenge by pinning Mathers to get the win in this Scramble.

Winner: Blake Christian

Match Five: Los Luchadores del Santos vs Private Party

One of these teams are two time CCW Tag Team Champions, the other is a team hungry to prove themselves worthy of a shot at the gold. All four men went all out to get the victory and a possible title opportunity but it was a top rope powerbomb from Gringo Loco that made the difference, pinning Isiah Kassidy for the win.

Match Six: Motor City Machine Guns vs EYFBO

No Disqualification Match

CCW Tag Team Titles

The Motor City Machine Guns have been to the mountaintop before and they want more than anything to get there again. On the flip-side, EYFBO feels that they have just begun their reign of dominance in CCW. These two parties collided full force this evening, having an absolutely chaotic and brutal match for the titles. While the Guns pulled out all of the stops, the best they could do were near-falls as Santana and Ortiz weathered the storm and walked out of Memphis with their titles intact.

Winners: MCMG

Match Seven: Lio Rush vs Tyler Wild

No Disqualification Match

CCW International Title

Lio Rush has come close to winning gold in CCW on several occasions and Tyler Wild has a tenuous grasp on the CCW International Title. Rush even went so far as to cut a promo before the match telling Wild that Rush thinks he's a much better wrestler than Wild is. That was kinda rude and not entirely true on this night. While Rush clearly had the speed advantage, the Champion had the strategy edge, taking advantage of a missed high risk opportunity from the challenger to hit the Beauty Shot and retain his title.

Winner: Tyler Wild

Match Eight: Lee Moriarty vs Effy

Thirty Minute Iron Man Match

CCW North American Title

There are few in CCW that can deliver in big match situations like Effy can but the last couple of months have shown that maybe he's met his match in Lee Moriarty. After going to a time limit draw in their last match, Moriarty and Effy decided to add fifteen minutes to the clock and let the title go to the man who could score the most falls. The tide turned multiple times in this bout with both men having the lead at least once but as the final seconds ticked down and Effy attempted a last minute pinfall to even the score at 3, it was not to be. Daddy's reign in the North American division came to an end as the Apex of Combat stood tall. After the match, Effy presented the title to Moriarty before a handshake, leaving the new champ to celebrate.

Winner: Lee Moriarty

CCW News Update

CCW Announces the King's Cup

CCW announced in a release on Twitter that next month's show will be called The King's Cup and will feature a new tournament format. The first round will be comprised of four singles matches with the winners advancing to a four corners elimination match to crown the first winner of the King's Cup. The victor of the tournament will go on SuperMania II in July to challenge the CCW International Champion.

Match One: Lince Dorado and the Sydals vs Gringo Loco and the Motor City Machine Guns

With their partners as part of the King's Cup tournament, Lince and Gringo sought new partners for this trios encounter. Gringo paired with the former CCW Tag Team champions and Lince with the high-flying heartthrobs the Sydals. All six men got the crowd hot to start the evening, digging into their repertoire of flashy offense to put the other team on the defensive. It was the tag team work of the Guns that made the difference in this one, however, as a Made in Detroit to Dorado secured the win for the team. After the match, the Guns got a surprise in the form of Mane Event. Midas Black told everyone that the Mane Event is tired of being overlooked and want to show they're more than a circus sideshow in CCW by taking down the Guns next month at the Warning. The Guns didn't back down from the challenge and the match is set for next month!

Match Two: Blake Christian vs Lio Rush

The King's Cup First Round Match

These two are no strangers to one another, having a series of fantastic matches in CCW that built on their international rivalry. Tonight was no exception as they locked up in this first round of action, With no time limits and a shot at the title hanging in the balance, both men went all out trying to one up each other for the fall. Unfortunately, this match came to a very real conclusion as a wild kick from Rush knocked out Christian, causing the ref to stop the bout. It's never good to see a competitor get hurt and we at CCW wish Blake a speedy recovery from what turned out to be a concussion.

Winner: Lio Rush

Match Three: Samuray del Sol vs Mascara Dorada

The King's Cup First Round Match

In another case of opponents that know each other very well, Samuray and Mascara tangled in their first ever CCW one-on-one encounter. There was a lot of flashy offense in this aerial encounter with several nearfall attempts from both men and it was obvious that the crowd was eating up every minute of this one. Dorada went high risk one times too many, failing to find the high reward he was hoping for, allowing Samuray to get the Rising Sun for the victory to advance to the finals.

Winner: Samuray del Sol

Match Four: Keith Lee vs AJ Gray

This was supposed to be the third first round match for the King's Cup but AJ Gray had different plans. "The Motherf***ing Truth" stormed the ring demanding that Keith Lee meet him, Gray said that Lee may have beaten his last month but AJ knows that he can take down the Limitless Lee. Lee came out next to say that he never backs down from a fight, even if it's one he's already won and this was on. The ref took advantage of the leniency that CCW allows officials to call the match as they see, allowing these two men to completely tear up the ringside area as well as a few merchandise tables. Rude. They didn't stop there, however, taking this one all the way out to the parking lot and forcing the ref to throw the match out.

Winner: No Contest

Match Five: Trevor Outlaw vs Paul London

In the aftermath of the previous match's chaos, Paul London came to the ring to talk about his match with Trevor Outlaw night. London talked about how important winning "the Big One" before retiring would be and how this might be his last opportunity to do it. Outlaw came out next, taunting London for being sentimental on his retirement tour and "boring the fans with sob stories." London took offense to Outlaw's comments, going after him with fiery offense and putting the younger Outlaw on his heels. London seemed to have it won with a Shooting Star Press but Outlaw managed to roll through and grab tights, using leverage to his advantage on his way to the Final.

Winner: Trevor Outlaw

Match Six: Effy vs Orin Veidt

The King's Cup First Round Match

Orin was amped up this evening, even cutting a promo before the match about how he intended to "seize the first real opportunity that CCW has given" him but is there anyone out there that is truly betting against Effy in a big match? If they did, it was a poor choice as Veidt fell victim to a piledriver from Daddy, leading to his elimination from round one.

Winner: Effy

Match Seven: Alex Zayne vs Lee Moriarty

No Disqualification Match

CCW North American Title

The CCW North American Title is quickly becoming THE title in indie wrestling in terms of match quality, a trend that second ever champion Lee Moriarty refuses to let die. Putting out an open challenge to the roster, Lee is determined to prove that he deserves his title by taking on all comers. The Sauce God was quick to answer the challenge, determined to finally become a champion in CCW. Despite scoring with the Crunch Wrap and a Taco Driver, Zayne still came up just a bit short, submitting to Joint Custody as Moriarty retained the title. After the match, both men showed respect for the other with a handshake.

Winner: Lee Moriarty

Match Eight: Violence is Forever vs EYFBO

Street Fight

CCW Tag Team Titles

Violence may be for Forever but ViF isn't waiting forever for a Tag Team Title shot and they said as much when they came to the ring and demanded that EYFBO come out and put their titles on the line. EYFBO didn't waste time, immediately coming out to accept the challenge but slightly modifying the rules of the match to be a Street Fight. Once again, we had a chaotic brawl that spent much more time out of the ring than in it. Destroying chairs and tables along the way, both teams tried to walk away with the gold but the champions were just a bit more resilient, holding onto the belts and securing the victory.

Winners: EYFBO

Match Nine: Joey Janela vs Tyler Wild

No Disqualification Match

CCW International Title

Since losing the CCW International Title, Joey Janela has been waiting in the wings, a constant threat to any and all future champions. Also, being one of the first stars of CCW, Janela has taken on a role as almost a defender of the integrity of CCW. In his short time with the company, Tyler Wild has done everything he can to disrespect the very nature of CCW and now he must defend the title against CCW's gatekeeper. After trading words before the match, Janela did everything he could to ensure he walked away a two time champion including giving Wild a piledriver on the floor but there was one thing he didn't account for. Dango. Just when it looked like the Bad Boy had it locked up, Wild's Fashion Police partner Dirty Dango showed up to cause a distraction, allowing Wild to get the roll-up for the win! Afterwards, Dango and Wild didn't stay to celebrate as Janela chased them from the arena.

Winner: Tyler Wild

Match Ten: Trevor Outlaw vs Samuray del Sol vs Effy vs Lio Rush

Four Way Dance

The King's Cup Final

All four men won hard fought contests to get to this final match and no one used that as an excuse to give anything less than maximum effort. Outlaw was the first man to go, falling to a Salida del Sol. Samuray was next, getting caught with the Rush Hour for the elimination. Finally, it came down to Effy and Lio Rush, two men who have previously faced off for the CCW North American Title in encounters that all came out in the favor of Effy. Rush was desperate to finally get the victory in this match, earning not only the victory he craves but a shot at the CCW International Title. After ten minutes of back and forth action, it was a piledriver from Effy to meant "Goodbye Yellow Brick Road" for Lio Rush. Effy was presented with the Cup by CCW's Dino Winwood as fans serenaded him with his theme as the show went off the air.
