AJPW 53rd Anniversary Show @ Ryōgoku Kokugika
Pre-Show Bout
Kazuhiguchi won a Thirty Man Battle Royal Eliminating Koji Iwamoto last
Opening Bout Stardom Sisters beat Satomura, Yamashita & Yuu, Mayu Iwatani got the victory with a quick roll up over the Pink Striker. Afterwards, the two got nose to nose showing that this wasn't over.
2nd Bout Evolution showed its strength when Hayato Tamura pinned TAKA, this preview shows the tension between Total Eclipse and Evolution as they head into the World's Strongest Tag Determination League.
3rd Bout At the Growin Up Show, Yankee Two Kenju won a four team tournament to become the #1 contender for Omori & Watanabe's titles and that momentum was enough for the veteran team to succeed over the Junior Pair. This makes them 3x All Asia Tag Team Champions. Backstage the new champions announced they are vacating their AJPW TV Six-Man Titles saying they want to focus on defending the AA Tag Belts and winning the World's Strongest Tag Determination League.
4th Bout vs. Another in these two rivalry power against power Hashimoto vs. Jordynne the pair start strong heavy blows and power throws, Jordynne gets an advantage when they spill to the outside using a chair on the champion, It looks all over when she hits the Powerbomb but Hashimoto isn't finished yet, she slowly regains the ground using her amateur prowess over Big Momma and this eventually leads to Grace's fall (Ed Note: I'm not sorry). Hashimoto hits her German Suplex the Albright to defend against her rival. Backstage Hashimoto challenges her tag team partner Yuu.
5th Bout All Japan was able to score a victory over the invading Burning stable as Masato Tanaka pin's Atsushi Kotoge with the Sliding D. Backstage Tanaka let it be known he'd want to face Akiyama one on one.
6th Bout vs. Ross Von Erich got a victory over JONAH protege with an Iron Claw Slam backstage he is joined by the Von Erich's father Kevin Von Erich and they are rooting for his brother against the champion.
7th Bout vs. Takeda & Harada have a very strong showing of technical wrestling but the champion wasn't able to keep up and Harada can win the World Junior Heavyweight title, this makes him a dual AJPW & GHC Junior Heavyweight holder.
8th Bout Zenith was able to come out the victor over Kohei Sato & Hideki Suzuki Suzuki was able to gain control with his godlike technical skills making Zenith rely on their tandem offence to overcome the Student of Billy Robinson, this match was altered didn't get to see if moon vulcan could defeat Zenith. Backstage Suzuki let know he would be teaming with Takuya in the World's Strongest Tag Determination League thanking Sato for filling in, the champions are confident that they can win the tournament. Sato suffered a slack jaw in the match, we will see if he can enter the tag team tournament.
9th Bout vs.
Go Shiozaki new attitude seems to be doing him well as he defended the GHC Heavyweight title. This heated bout had no feeling out the two just got at it with forearms and chops back and forth. Kento went for his flurry of Blackout Knee Strikes to stun Shiozaki for the Shutdown German Suplex but Go catches the Ace with Lariat lifting Miyahara back up for a second lariat and the one two three. Backstage Shiozaki announced he was teaming with KENTA for the World's Strongest Tag Determination League.
Main Event vs. The final bout of the anniversary show sees two gaijins fight over the Triple Crown, this wasn't a technical masterclass the champion and challenger have a hoss fight brawling all over the ring, JONAH was able to hit his Tsunami through the table this time and almost got the 10 count out, but the fire in Marshall wouldn't give him the satisfaction. They continue in the ring the Top Dog goes for a KO victory with his lariats but the Cowboy from Hawaii catches him with an Iron Claw Slam setting up for the Moonsault and victory goes to MVE. The New Champion celebrates in the ring with his Father & Brother with tears in all their eyes.

Japanese products and touring schedules can be brutal when it comes to injuries. Really sucks Shuji Ishikawa might have to retire when he returns.

AJPW World's Strongest Tag Determination League 2025 - A Block Competitors
A Block
All Mighty Terror
This is JONAH making his second entrance* in the World's Strongest Tag Determination Leaguewere he and partner Shelton Benjamin scored 10 points but not advancing to the finals. Tommy Knight is making his WSTDL debut and this team looks unstoppable interms of power alone.
Crazy Dangan2nd entrance for this pair last year they couldn't make it to the final, Tanaka was able to become victorius with long time partner Takashi Sugiura in the 2022 WSTDL, He's hoping him and Takeda can go all the way and win seeing this as his last entrance in the tournament.
Gabriel Kidd & Joel Redman A new pairing hoping to make waves in AJP and win their first WSTDL, Joel Redman has entered before with Nick Aldis in the 2022 Tournament that team was only able to score 6 points.
Purple Haze (Shigehiro Irie & UTAMARO) Shigehiro Irie (fourth entrance) chose UTAMARO as his partner** for the WSTDL as his regular partner and Zeus is out injured they were able to win the 2021 Tournament.
Revolution This will mark the pairs 4th entrance into the WSTDL can they finally make it top of the board or remain in the middle?
Runaway SUPLEX***
Suwama (sixth entrance) & Hayato (second) havn't made it to the finals of the league but Suwama is confident that he and his partner are at full power since they started teaming 2023.
The Saito Twins Still early in their careers the Saito pair (second entrance) are looking make their pressence known and to dominate on all their opponents.
The Von Erichs Last year the brothers Von Erich (this is their thrid entrance) made it to the finals falling to the pair or Yuji Hino & Kazusada Higuchi, with Marshalls Triple Crown victory they look near unstoppable this year could we see Marshall carrying both Triple Crown and World Tag Team Titles?
Yankee Two Kenju New All Asia Tag Team champions are looking to add too their momentum by taking the block and winning the WSTDL then taking the World Tag Team championship proving they are the undisputed Tag Team in All Japan.
Zenith
This is the World Tag Team champions first entrance as a pair (sixth for Naoya Nomura & third for Ryuki Honda) , Nomura has said when they win he'll challenge Jake Lee so that he can finally defeat his former team mate. Ryuki wants to face his former mentor Jun Akiyama for the belts.

Go Shiozaki & KENTA The first pair of the invading faction inside AJP Shiozaki (2nd entrance) is hot after defending his GHC Heavyweight Title against former Xceed partner Kento Miyahara, KENTA (1st entrance) loves to play rebel and the reformed Burning is giving him that oppertunity.
Genius Supernovas Former GHC Heavyweight Tag Team & Global Tag League winners Naomichi Marufuji (1st entrance) & Kaito Kiyomiya (3rd entrance) look too prove why they are puro premier tag team. What will happen these two collide with fellow Burning members?
Kohei Sato & Konosuke Takeshita This unlikely pair** (Kohei Sato's 3rd entrance & Konosuke Takashita's 1st) are hoping that they can generate some chemistry and win the WSTDL.
moon vulcan This duo (Hideki Suzuki's 1st & Takuya Nomura's 2nd entrance) didn't get the chance to face the World Tag Team champions last tour now they are hoping to earn another shot at the belts.
Muscle Eruption Last years winner who also became the World Tag Team champions on the finals*, will this powerhouse pair (Kazusada Higuchi's 3rd & Yuji Hino's 4th entrance)make it repeat performance it looks like their a few who could stand up to this tandem.
Kento Miyahara & Yuma Aoyagi No stranger to sucess Kento Miyahara (6th entrance) wants to get back to his winning ways and this is his last time to do so in the year. Yuma Aoyagi (4th entrance) wants to prove that it wasn't luck that got him his victory previously and he is the best techincal wrestler worlking Japan today.
Strong BJ Always a tag team you shouldn't sleep on this monster unit has won tag team gold when ever they've arrived in a new promotion. Daisuke Sekimoto (7th entrance) indy vetren is a master of tag team wrestling his protege and partner Yuji Okabayashi (7th entrance) might be the most powerful wrestler working in world.
TMDK The main tag team unit in The Mighty Don't Kneel (2nd entrance for the unit) they havn't won gold yet but don't let fool you these two are one of the best tag teams to come out of Australia their recent championship success in Impact will give them a strong boost of momentum.
Jake Lee & Koji Doi Not a reagular pair in AJP but don't let that mean they havn't got what it takes too leave victorius, Jake Lee (7th entrance) is looking for that final accomplishment in All Japan. His partner Koji Doi (1st entrance) is very experiance in Tag Team wrestling having a long partnership with Kuma Arashi.
KAZMA SAKAMOTO & Yoshitatsu This odd pairing inside the even odder unit Yoshitatsu Kingdom*2 (Yoshi 7th entrance & Kazma 1st), might not make it too the finals but they can deffernatly play spoiler to some of the top tag teams.

AJPW World's Strongest Tag Determination League - A Block #1 @ Korakuen Hall
Opening Bout Francesco Akira defeated Strong Machine J
2nd Bout Dan Tamura & Chihiro Hashimoto were victorius over the pair of Black Menso~re & Heidi Katrina
3rd Bout Nextream's Atsuki Aoyagi, Rising HAYATO & Miyu Yamashita rolled over Total Eclipse's Hokuto Omori, Soma Watanabe & Syuri
4th Bout Zenith was able to get a strong start to the tournament with a victory over the The Saito Twins. Backstage Zenith were confident that this is their year and no team can stop them, Saito Twins were upset not getting the victory but won't let that hold them down already for their next match.
5th Bout Revolution just earned a deffernat All Asia Tag Team title shot when they pinned Yankee Two Kenju. Yankee Two Kenju promised that they won't lose to Revolution again, Revolution said they aren't going to think about the All Asia titles yet as they have a tournament to win.
6th Bout
The Von Erich got a hard earned victory over the new pair Gabriel Kidd & Joel Redman*. Backstage Von Erich talk up their opponents feeling they will see the duo after the tour, Kidd & Redman say their hungrier with each defeat.
7th Bout JONAH & Tommy Knight dominated Masashi Takeda & Masato Tanaka, JONAH is excited he and Tommy will dominate the block, Takeda & Tanaka selling the effects of the match and wasn't available comment.
Main Event Runaway SUXPLEX had a test when going againt Shigehiro Irie & UTAMARO the two teams didn't give no quarter in their exchanges but eventually Suwama put UTAMARO away with the Last Ride Power Bomb. Afterwards Suwama was going down the list of opponents claiming he and Hayato were unmatch, Shigehiro was upset that he couln't get first blood for Purpe Haze and felt like he let down the absent leader.
1st Place: Runaway SUPLEX, All Mighty Terror, The Von Erichs, Revolution & Zenith. (2 Poinst)
2nd Place: Shigehiro Irie & UTAMARO, Crazy Dangan, Gabriel Kidd & Joel Redman, Yankee Two Kenju * The Saito Twins. (0 Points)
*Kidd & Redman have excellent chemistry so I've made them a unit called Britains Finest.

AJPW World's Strongest Tag Determination League - B Block #4 @ Korakuen Hall
Opening Bout A2Y & Meiko Satomura defeated Atsuki Aoyagi, Rising HAYATO & Miyu Yamashita when Akira pinned Aoyagi.
2nd Bout Jun Akiyama gave Yuma Anzai his dues in the ring by submitting him with the Nigata Lock II (Crossface).
3rd Bout 6-Person action as Chihiro Hashimoto, Heidi Katrina & Reika Saikai got over the team of Kairi, Io Shirai & Syuri.
4th Bout In a sprint of a match, Kohei Sato was able to pin Hideki Suzuki with the Pole Star (Scoop Brainbuster). Backstage Sato & Takeshita were excited at getting another 2 points on the board, moon vulcan wasn't fazed Suzuki said 'We knew getting another shot at the titles wasn't going to be easy but they have to keep moving forward.'
6th Bout BURNING got another success against an AJP stable when Shiozaki hit the Gowan Lariat onto Koji Doi. Backstage Shiozaki & KENTA asked if that was meant to be the top heel faction no wonder Nextream was so weak. Jake Lee vowed to get even with BURNING.
7th Bout Yoshitatsu Kingdom was no match for the might of TMDK when SAKAMOTO found himself in the Thunder Valley. Backstage TMDK were confident and boastful that it was going to be a TMDK final. Yoshitatsu wasn't upset by the loss saying there were key matches to win and title shots to earn.
8th Bout Tonight wasn't Total Eclipse's as Muscle Eruption well to The Genius & The Supernova, Marufuji making Yuji tap out to the Perfect Facelock (Single underhook inverted facelock). Kaito & Naomichi were more complimentary about their opponents saying it was a close contest. Hino & Higuchi were pissed, feeling they were robbed.
Main Event* What better way to the main event Korakuen Hall than with Miyahara & Aoyagi vs. Strong BJ two bannermen for their respective company's this saw a clash of King's Road and Big Japan Strong, by the end the match became a contest of who would break first and it was Yuji Okabayashi who got pinned with the Shutdown German Suplex. After the match Kento gave his usual call and response promo to the audience, backstage Kento & Yuma were elated to finally get a win after three straight losses now they want to not just show they are AJPW's premier tag team but the world, Daisuke & Yuji were less jovial show strong determination towards the road ahead.

AJPW World's Strongest Tag Determination League - A Block #7 @ Osaka Prefectural Gymnasium
The First of our Two Osaka Prefectural Gymnasium shows.
Opening Bout Yuu & Yusuke Okada were able to beat the strong pairing of Dan Tamura & Chihiro Hashimoto when Yuu made here tag team partner tap out. Backstage Yuu told the press that this win gave her a large amount of confidence for her New Years Wars match for the PWF Women's World Championship, Chihiro was upset that she aloud her confidence to make here underestimate the eqaully powerful Yuu.
2nd Bout Five person action as Total Eclipse clash with Nextream, Atsuki Aoyagi got his unit the pinfall on Hokuto Omori. Backstage Kento let it be know they won thanks to his direction, Omori was apologetic to his TE brothers Jake forgave him and made a challenge for Atsuki to face Omori at Fan Thanksgiving.*
3rd Bout Koji Iwamoto made an open challenge online and it was excepted by YO-HEY. Iwamoto was able to overcome this challenge and afterwards Koji Iwamoto challenged for the World Junior title will Daisuke Harada accept.
4th Bout All Mighty Terror powered through the imposing Saito Twins. Backstage JONAH was declaring that no one could touch them they are at the top heading towards the finals! Rei Sato said he understood abit of what made JONAH a 2x Triple Crown champion after being in the ring with him.
5th Bout Marshall & Ross got a victory over the younger pair of Towa & Tsugutaka. The Revolution pair were upset at not being able to advance but wouldn't just give up. The Von Erich feel they can make it to the finals a second time in a row.
6th Bout World Tag Team champions won against the wild pair of Crazy Dangan. Backstage Zenith were focused on the last few matchs and advancing saying no time to celebrate till it's all over.
7th Bout
Runaway Suplex had a tough fight against All Asia champions Yankee Two Kenju who at this point are looking to play spoiler in the tournament, Suwama was able to put away Yuko with the backdrop hold. Backstage Suwama says they are gunning for number one position and no team can stop them. Yankee are excited to knock down AMT from the top spot.
Main Event Shigehiro Irie & UTAMARO were able to win against Britains Finest, after the match Zeus who was in the crowd came to the ring to congratulate his stablemates and said that they will destroy Total Eclipse when he returns.

AJPW World's Strongest Tag Determination League B Block #7 @ Osaka Prefectural Gymnasium
Opening Bout Six-Person action as Chihiro, Meiko & Yuu defeat the trios of Miyu, Reika & Syuri. In the press room Chihiro told Yuu she better give her everything she has if she hopes to get another victory over her.
2nd Bout Jiro Kuroshio easily defeated the rookie Ryoma Tsukamoto. Neither had comments for the press.
3rd Bout
Momo no Seishun Tag got a victory against Nextreams junior tandem Aoyagi & HAYATO. After the match Daisuke accepted Koji challenge. Backstage Harada & Kotoge talked up their Juniors saying they could be a good rival for the pair in AJP.
4th Bout In a wild brawl that went around the Gymnasium Muscle Eruption were able to defeat TMDK. Afterwards Hino & Higuchi want it to be know they are AllJapans top tag team and soon to be three time World Tag Team Champions. TMDK say that they Maybe out but won't rest till it's all over.
5th Bout Shiozaki & KENTA made a strong statement when they defeated the pair of Sato & Takeshita. When interacting with the press Shiozaki talked about the havoc he and KENTA will provide in AJP when they win the WSTDL. Kohei talked about the GHC title he lost to Shiozaki and wanted to earn a shot at it. Konosuke challenges KENTA to a singles match.
6th Bout Koji Doi & Jake Lee got an impressive win over the more experienced tag team of Strong BJ as Lee put Okabayashi away with the D4C (Delayed vertical drop brainbuster. Jake Lee talked up his team mate Koji saying they have what it takes to be Tag Team champions. Okabayashi was upset he took the pin and hopes he can get revenge on Jake Lee sooner then later.
7th Bout Kento Miyahara & Yuma Aoyagi took 2 points after defeating the master pupil team of moon vulcan. Miyahara began counting 'his' teams points adding the undecided matchs also Yuma tried to reign in Kento confidence but the Ace wasn't having any of it. moon vulcan knew they were out of the finals but still wanting to prove they could face the champions.
Main Event Upset of the tour as KAZMA SAKAMOTO pins the Supernova Kaito Kiyomiya the audience erupts as the underdog team of B Block get this imcredible win. After the match KAZMA & Yoshitatsu are elated with this victory upset they won't be able to advance in the tournament but playing spoiler has it's own charms. When interviewed after the match Kaito is in shock not believing what happened repeating the question 'Did KAZMA pin me?' followed by Naomichi saying 'Yes.'
