1985 Round RobinSault Ste. Marie Greyhounds vs. Shawinigan CataractesA solid back and forth affair to open the tournament with the two teams going into the third period tied 3-3. Early in overtime, Shawinigan rifles one in and wins 4-3. Shawinigan Cataractes vs. Prince Albert RaidersPrince Albert surprisingly dominated from the opening puck drop and sent the hometown fans home disappointed as they won 6-2. Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds vs. Verdun JuniorsVerdun came out and shocked many by going up 3-0 early on in the game. Sault Ste. Marie fought back into it but Verdun managed a huge 4-2 victory. Prince Albert Raiders vs. Verdun JuniorsVerdun's luck ran out as Prince Albert skated circles around them and won 8-2. Prince Albert Raiders vs. Sault Ste. Marie GreyhoundsA close affair saw both teams lack in the scoring department but Prince Albert managed to sneak one in late in the third to win 1-0. Shawinigan Cataractes vs. Verdun JuniorsBoth teams threw all they had at one another and went to overtime tied 1-1. Verdun shocked the entire country by scoring early and winning 2-1. 1985 Semifinals and FinalsSemifinalsVerdun Juniors vs. Shawinigan CataractesVerdun kept their Cinderella run alive in this game as they outshot and outscored Shawinigan in a big way, winning the game 5-2.
