After the match, Mark Henry gets on the mic, and says he's going for the world title, he's sick of spending the past 15 years in catering and stuck in the midcard.)

Christian (C) w/Brodus Clay vs Randy Orton
(On the Smackdown after Over the Limit, Christian gloats about his "win" over Randy Orton at Over the Limit, and announces that due to his actions after the match, Randy Orton has been suspended until The Great American Bash, where Teddy Long puts him in a rematch against Randall Keith, where anything goes. The match is a slugfest, but any time Orton gets control, Brodus Clay comes in and ruins him, which annoys Orton. Eventually, The Apex Predator catches Brodus with an RKO, before Christian rolls him up and has a handful of tights, grabs the title, and immediately runs to the back.)
Last Chance Match for the WWE Championship
The Miz (C) w/Alex Riley vs John Cena
(After finally purging himself of Wade Barrett, John Cena sets his sights on reclaiming the WWE Championship. The Face that runs The Place challenges The Miz to a match, but Miz says Cena hasn’t earned it and that he won't give it to him. However, Vince McMahon makes the match official. In the build up, The Miz says Cena has always looked down on him, but now it's his time to be the top guy in WWE. Vince also adds the stipulation that if Cena loses, he will be unable to challenge for the WWE Championship as long as The Miz is champion. Botched interference by Alex Riley allows John Cena to lock in the STF and tap The Miz out to become the new WWE Champion. Miz invokes his rematch clause the next night on Raw and loses again. Miz also angrily ditches Riley the next night.)

John Cena (C) w/Vince McMahon and John Lauranitus vs CM Punk
(Same build and match as IRL. Punk's contract is expiring and he guarantees he'll be leaving with the WWE Championship, whilst also taking one big sh!t on the McMahons in his pipebomb promo, and leaving the big dub with no top champion, whilst Cena wants to rid the WWE of the plague that is CM Punk. Punk wins, kisses WWE goodbye, and doesn't show up 8 days later on Raw. Instead, he defends the WWE Championship at the 2011 G1 Finals against Hiroshi Tanahashi, and returning to Ring of Honor against two dudes names Kevin Steen and El Generico, don't think anyone's ever heard of them.)

He tries to do it on Sheamus, but Sheamus prevents it from happening, turning face, and setting up this match. The match ends when Mark henry picks up Sheamus into the World's Strongest Slam position, and is put through the barricade. Both men fail to get back into the ring, as this takes a toll on Mark Henry just as much as it does Sheamus, as both men end up being stretchered to the back.)

(In the leadup, Brodus Clay turns on Christian because he's sick of having to be his heavy. This leads Edge to reach out to Christian, and help him begin the journey back to being a face. This match is extremely even, as Randy Orton hits an RKO, but Christian kicks out. Orton hits another, and another, but Christian kicks out. Orton goes for a punt, but still can't put Captain Charisma away. Eventually, Christian hits Orton with a killswitch off a ladder through a stack of tables for the win. Orton and Christian shake hands at the end of the match, with Edge getting in the ring to congratulate Christian, telling him "you did that one all on your own", cementing The Instant Classic's face turn.)

Both men are convinced that they are being held back by management and vow to do everything in their power to expose the conspiracy against them. They attack The Usos on an episode of SmackDown, staking their claim to be the next WWE Tag Team Champions. Jimmy and Jey think Miz and Truth are just a bunch of deluded pricks who need to be taken down a notch or two.)

Christian (C) vs Mark Henry
(a few weeks after Summerslam, Mark Henry comes out on Raw wearing a pink jacket, and announces his "retirement". Christian (having just turned face) comes out and pays his respects to Mark, before Mark reveals it's a swerve and hits Christian with the World's Strongest Slam. Mark then grabs a steel chair, places it on Christian's chest, and does a Vader bomb, cracking Christian's ribs. Mark steamrolls through Captain Charisma at NOC, winning his first actual world title.)
WWE Championship - Kevin Nash is guest referee
Rey Mysterio (C) vs John Cena
(Cena wants a rematch against Rey after Summerslam, which Rey accepts. Kevin Nash returns around this same time, and says a match of this magnitude should be called right down the middle. Rey wins, but Kevin Nash turns heel on Rey after the match by giving him a big boot, and a jackknife powerbomb.)

John Cena agrees with Rey, but he wants to be the one to rest the WWE Championship from Alberto Del Rio.)

There is no ring-exploding spot, Mark Henry instead hits The Big Show with three consecutive World's Strongest Slam's for the win.)
Last Man Standing Match for the WWE Championship, Ricardo Rodriguez and Kevin Nash are banned from ringside
Alberto Del Rio (C) vs John Cena
(John Cena wants one more match with ADR after coming up short at Hell in a Cell. Del Rio says that Cena is the WWE’s golden child who thinks he can do no wrong, but in reality, he’s just an embarrassment to the company. Cena says he'll gladly shut Del Rio up for good and become a 10-time WWE Champion. Triple H makes the match a Last Man Standing Match to increase the stakes, while also banning Ricardo Rodriguez and Kevin Nash from ringside. After the match, as Del Rio is celebrating, the song 'Cult of Personality; by living color plays, and outcomes CM Punk with the spinner belt, returning to the WWE for the first time since he won the title at Money in the Bank. Punk hoists up the Spinner Belt, and Del Rio hoists up the Undisputed Belt. Both men agree to a title unification match at Survivor Series to determine who the true WWE Champion is.)

(After his triumphant return to WWE after facing New Japan and ROH's best, Punk reveals he came back because he heard some up and comer is parading around with a belt from 7 years ago, proclaiming to be "WWE Champion", and he had to come back to give Bertie a reality check and remind everyone who the real WWE Champion is. Del Rio says Punk walked out on WWE so he could allow him to fulfill his destiny of becoming WWE Champion. Triple H and Vince recognize that there are 2 WWE Champions, and this conflict needs to be solved, so they set up a title unification match at Survivor Series. Punk wins Clean.)

(Following his victory over The Big Show at No Mercy, he moves on to the #1 contender for his title, Sheamus, who reminds him about how Henry never actually beat him at Summerslam. The match is made a steel cage match to make sure there is no double count-out. It looks like The Celtic Warrior has the match won when he's about to climb out the cage, but Mark grabs the cage (because he can't climb up after Sheamus quick enough), then shouts "THAT'S WHAT I DO!" and pulls the cage wall into the ring with Sheamus on it, then climbs out through the wreckage to retain his title.)
WWE Tag Team Championships
The Awesome Truth (C) vs John Cena and The Rock
(The Awesome Truth cost Cena the WWE Championship at Vengeance. The Awesome Truth reveals that they're sick of being stuck in the midcard, and want the WWE Title, so in order to get their opportunity, they target Big Match John. Super Cena challenges The Miz and R-Truth at Survivor Series, with Cena also announcing that his Wrestlemania 28 opponent, The Rock, will partner. There is tension between The Great One and The Guy with an endless collection of t-shirt colors, and this allows the champions to pull off a shock upset after Cena tags himself in whilst The Rock is waiting to hit The Miz with The Rock Bottom. The Rock gives Cena a Rock Bottom post match.)

(Sheamus wants a rematch against Mark Henry because he never pinned him to retain his title, and wants to prove he can push The World's Strongest Man to his limit and challenges him to a last man standing match, which Mark accepts. In the match, Sheamus can't put Mark away. He hits him with a brogue kick, gets up at 9, hits him with another brogue kick, gets up at 9, hits him with a brogue kick with a chair, and Mark still gets up at 9 (this is slowly turning Mark face). Eventually, Mark hits Sheamus with the World's Strongest Slam off the second rope, and the ring caves in, and both men fail to reach the count of 10, and immediately receive medical attention. Sheamus is immediately helped to the back, but as the EMTs are dealing with Mark, the music of a certain Washington native that used to go by "The American Dragon" plays.)

(Bryan quickly clears out all the EMTs to cash in his briefcase, quickly lies on Henry for the 3 count, and wins the title.)

CM Punk (C) vs John Cena vs Alberto Del Rio w/Ricardo Rodriguez vs The Miz
(Del Rio invokes his rematch clause against CM Punk. Cena also invokes his rematch clause against Punk since he never got his 1-on-1 rematch against The Best in the World. The Miz gets in on the action after attacking Cena & Punk on an episode of Raw. Cena wants to win back the WWE Championship from the man who took it from him, Del Rio wants revenge from Survivor Series, and The Miz wants to become a double champion whilst his tag partner R-Truth is dealing with a (kayfabe) injury (in reality he's serving a 30-day suspension))

Bryan says he was just capitalizing on the opportunity he had and hopes to have a great match, while Sheamus wants to beat the living p!ss out of him. It's also worth noting that Bryan turns heel because of his arrogance.) Kane vs John Cena (Double Count Out)(In December of 2011, Kane returns wearing a mask (the special entrance mask that made him look like Matanza Cueto from Lucha Underground, not the mask that looks like the Universal Championship), and targets Big Match John because Cena isn't being honest with himself in the world of hate he lives in, because the fans hate him, and doesn't realize how powerful he can be when he lets himself be fueled by hate instead of all the rules he follows. Cena refuses Kane's offer to join the dark side, so The Big Red Machine goes after (not Zack Ryder) John Cena Sr., and tombstones him on the go-home episode of Raw. This causes John to lose it at the rumble and brawl with Kane to the outside towards the end of the match, causing a double count-out.) Handicap Match for the WWE Championship
CM Punk (C) vs The Awesome Truth (After TLC, Miz says he's not finished with CM Punk, and neither is The Awesome Truth, as R-Truth returns on the first Raw of 2012 (from his suspension), and they challenge Punk to a handicap match for the title at the Rumble. John Cena vs Kane
(Kane continues to torment Cena after The Rumble, saying that Cena doesn't hate him, he hates everyone else, because despite everything Cena's given the fans, the parades, the hours spent away from home, the family he never sees, until (Kane) is taking them apart, because, despite everything, the crowd chants "Cena Sucks". Kane mocks Cena for the fans still not supporting Cena after everything he's done, telling him to "embrace the hate", instead of Rising Above It. Cena goes to John Lauranitus to get a rematch against Kane at Elimination Chamber in an ambulance match. Johnny Ace initially refuses, before reluctantly giving it to him after Cena gives him an AA. During the match, Cena and Kane brawl into the crowd, and when Cena goes to punch Kane, Kane ducks and Cena accidentally punches a fan (a plant). As they get to the end of the match, Cena is about to AA Kane into the ambulance but is too distracted about the fan he inadvertently hit earlier. Kane capitalizes on this, and chokeslams Cena into the Ambulance for the win.)
