The Usos (C) vs The Ascension

(Konnor & Viktor's warpath leads them to a tag team title shot at Fastlane against The Usos. The Ascension say that this is their wasteland, and no one is escaping their wrath. The Usos say they welcome the challenge from these 2 brutes.)

Goldust vs Cody Rhodes

(After Goldust and Stardust lose a match to Cesaro & Tyson Kidd on the Raw two week’s after the Royal Rumble, Stardust attacks his brother and leaves. The next week, The Artist Formerly Known as Stardust ditches the space clown persona and reverts back to being Cody Rhodes, saying that Goldust was holding him back, but now he’s his own man. Goldust says he never should have trusted his brother.)

Handicap Match

Randy Orton vs Kane and The Big Show

(After returning from his injury, Orton immediately sets his sights on The Authority's henchman, Kane, and Big Show. Kane says that Orton became the weak link after he lost his titles at Wrestlemania 30, and that at Fastlane, he and Big Show will send him back to the ER. Randy Orton gets revenge on Seth Rollins the following night on Raw which ends with Orton winning after countering The Curb Stomp into the greatest RKO ever seen.)

WWE Intercontinental Championship

Wade Barrett (C) vs Dolph Ziggler

(Following losing the IC title to 'Bad News' Barrett at the Royal Rumble, Ziggler invokes his rematch clause at Fastlane. Barrett scores the win after capitalising on an exposed turnbuckle with a Bullhamer.)

Triple H and Sting in-ring segment

(After having been back in power for a little over a month, Triple H lays out a challenge for Wrestlemania for the man who was responsible for driving the authority out of power, Sting. The Game comes down to the ring with a group of security guards that surround the ring, and lays out the challenge to Sting. The lights then go out, and when they come back up, all the security guards are replaced with guys in Sting makeup, one of the guys step into the ring, and it's the real Sting, who hits Triple H with the baseball bat and Scorpion Death Drop, before pointing to the Wrestlemania sign, accepting the challenge.)

WWE United States Championship

Rusev (C) w/Lana vs John Cena (By Technical Submission)

(A confrontation between John Cena and Rusev on Raw leads to a match where both brawl into the crowd and it ends in a no contest, so Cena challenges The Bulgarian Brute to a match for the United States Championship. Rusev agrees to the match. Rusev wins after Lana distracts the referee, allowing Rusev to low blow Cena and lock him in the Accolade until Cena passes out. After the match, The Bulgarian Brute goes to inflict further damage, before Sheamus (sporting a mohawk and a braided beard) makes the save (Sheamus doesn't turn heel, yet.))

Roman Reigns vs Seth Rollins w/J&J Security

(After the Rumble, Roman Reigns begins setting his sights on Seth Rollins, so he can get that singles match that he was robbed of back in September. The Big Dog goes to The Authority to get the match made, and they agree to give to him on one condition, and that is because they're sick of Ambrose and Reigns being buddy-buddy, he will have to face Dean Ambrose in a 1 on 1 match to determine who will face Seth at Fastlane, and neither man can take a dive for the other, or else they're fired. Roman wins that match within seconds after 1 spear whilst Ambrose is distracted. Roman tried to make it as quick as he possibly could, but Ambrose feels insulted by this, and doesn't shake Roman's hand post-match after Roman offers it to him. At Fastlane, Ambrose tells Reigns he wants to be in his corner, but Roman says no, wanting to go it alone. During the match, Dean Ambrose does come down and gets involved, which distracts the referee so much that he misses a low blow from Seth to Roman, who then wins with a curb stomp.)

Triple Threat Match for the Divas Championship

Nikki Bella (C) w/Brie Bella vs Paige vs Emma

(After beating The Bellas at the Rumble, the 2 former NXT alumni get a shot at the Divas Championship. Emma and Paige watch each other’s backs in the build, but Paige promises she won’t let their friendship get in the way of her becoming Divas Champion. Their friendship falling apart is what allows Nikki Bella to capitalise and roll up Paige with a handful of tights to steal the win.)

Bray Wyatt in-ring segment

(After the Rumble, Vignettes teasing The Undertaker's return begin to air, with the date for the Fastlane PPV always being shown at the end. At Fastlane, druids come out with a casket, and The Undertaker's music hits. When the druids lift up the casket lid, Bray Wyatt is in the casket and does the Undertaker's sit-up, challenging The Deadman to a match at Wrestlemania. Undertaker doesn't respond)

Singles Match for Daniel Bryan's Wrestlemania Title Shot

Daniel Bryan vs Dean Ambrose

(After failing to secure a rematch against Seth Rollins, Ambrose challenges Daniel Bryan for his Wrestlemania title shot, stating even though he didn't win, his performance from starting at #1 and making it to the final 4 deserves some type of reward. Bryan ends up accepting his challenge and the match is made for Fastlane. In the match, after a ref bump, Ambrose hits Bryan with Dirty Deeds, but Seth Rollins comes out to attack The Lunatic Fringe. Roman Reigns comes to make the save and fight off Rollins, but spears Dean Ambrose, this time on purpose. Roman then spears Rollins, just to show he hasn't turned heel. Daniel Bryan (who was still out and has no knowledge of any of the run-in's) then hits a Running Knee on Ambrose for the win.)
