Looking forward to how Shota Umino does in your ROH! ngl I did get a laugh the moment you posted your predictions xD Shota and Red will be useful additions since I'm making a diary now and I'm gonna need to pay more attention to the undercard. A lot of my midcard guys have just been going through the motions for the whole save and I'm gonna try and change that.

Honor Reigns Supreme January 21st 2024
The Card:
Mei Suruga vs Trish Adora It's a rematch from Final Battle in the opener as, following their intense battle last month, Mei and Trish write another champter in their amazing rivalry as they look to establish who the better woman is. Suruga eyes a second consecutive win, while Trish tries to get her win back in what should be a great start to the night
Malicious Impending Destruction (Ariya Daivari, Silas Young and Brian Johnson) vs Shinobi Shadow Squad (Cheeseburger and Eli Isom) and Flex Simmons In the first TV episode following Final Battle, Daivari would face Cheeseburger in his ROH singles match debut, saying before the match that CB's malicious impending destruction was coming near. Soon enough it was clear what he meant by that, when Silas Young and Brian Johnson came out and, along with Daivari, would gang up on CB in a 3-on-1 beatdown, repeating the alliance we saw at Final Battle. Eli Isom would run in for the save, keeping his mentor from further damage. The following week this new stable would attack rookie Flex Simmons, setting up this trios match here.
Flamita vs Rey Horus Another match that stems from the Honor Rumble, Flamita and Rey Horus fought all over ringside and eliminated eachother from the match. The two masked wrestlers have a lot of history together, going from allies to bitter rivals. Horus is seemingly tired of Flamita's rudo ways, and vows to put a stop to his enemy and teach him a lesson.
Matt Cross vs Rayo vs Shota Umino The debuting Shota Umino and the upstart Rayo left a pretty good impression at Final Battle, despite neither of them walking away with the win. One of the people they impressed was Matt Cross, and the veteran was quick to make a proposal to the two youngsters: he wants to take them under his wing. M-Dogg is a true indy wrestling legend, and in the final years of his career he says he wants to mentor some high potential young wrestlers, to make sure he leaves this sport in good hands. And to show them just how much they can learn from him, he challenged both youngsters to a 3-Way Match! Will Shota and Rayo accept the offer and accept Cross' mentorship? And can M-Dogg get the win here tonight and prove that his experience is valuable?
ROH Women's World Championship Utami Hayashishita (c) vs Diamante Following Utami's big win over Rok-C, a new challenger was determined in the following episode of ROH TV with Diamante emerging victorious in a 6-Way match to earn this title match. It's a different sort of challenge for Utami, who hasn't really faced a challenger as crafty and resourceful as the Cuban Diamond just yet. Will the undefeated Rose-Red Apex retain her title or will Diamante grab the gold in what would be considered an upset?
Tracy Williams vs Rhett Titus The most shocking moment of Final Battle came after the Fight Without Honor for the Six-Man World Tag Team Championship, when Tracy Williams brutally assaulted his partner Jonathan Gresham. The former ROH World Champion had to be stretchered out after taking multiple Piledrivers, and we haven't seen him since. Tacy Williams would appear on the next episode of ROH TV, and the other member of The Foundation, Rhett Titus, would be quick to come out and confront 'Hot Sauce', demanding an explanation for his actions. Williams then told Titus that he took Gresham out for the sake of both of them, and said Gresham is "a selfish, ungrateful parasite", adding that The Octopus held them back and only looked out for his own interests. Williams says that when Gresham lost the world title The Foundation was there for him, but once he got back on his feet he was all too quick to get back on the world title chase, leaving his partners to clean up his messes and disregarding the Six-Man World Tag Team Championships that the three of them won together. Williams claimed Gresham never cared about The Foundation, and that they were only a tool for Gresham to be at the top of ROH. 'Hot Sauce' says he will never take a backseat to Gresham again, and neither should Titus. A conflicted Rhett Titus acknowledged that Williams' frustrations were valid, but he wonders if all this couldn't have been solved by just talking it out. Williams said that the time for talking is over and that if Titus is either with him or against him, before challenging him to a match and slapping him across the face. The future of The Foundation is very much at stake here, as Rhett Titus is yet to make a decision. Will he side with Williams, with Gresham, with neither, or will 'Hot Sauce' make the decision for him tonight?
Honor Rumble Contract Danhausen vs Josh Woods At Final Battle, Josh Woods thought he had a golden ticket for a title match when he almost won the Honor Rumble. We say almost, but the man actually thought he won it when Danhausen, who hadn't gotten in the ring yet (due to being attacked by Woods himself), knocked him off the top rope. Woods claims that Danhausen lucked his way into the contract and doesn't deserve it, and therefore challenged him to put it on the line against him.
#1 Contender Gauntlet Match Bandido vs Dalton Castle vs Jay Briscoe vs Mark Briscoe vs Lio Rush vs Shane Taylor This match doesn't really need much of a background behind it. It's simple: ROH management decided to put six of the top wrestlers in the company in this match, with a big prize on the line. One of these six men will run the gauntlet and face Dragon Lee in the champ's first title defence, next month at Bound By Honor.
ROH Pure Championship Pure Rules Match Drew Gulak (c) vs Joe Hendry In a rematch from Final Battle, Hendry gets one more shot at Gulak's Pure Championship. Joe Hendry called out the champion and asked for another opportunity, saying that while he recognized that while Gulak's win was legal, he can't help but feel the match was pretty even and he was beaten on a technicality. Gulak agreed to a rematch, despite stating that Hendry knew the rules of the match and should've altered his strategy accordingly. The two men shared a tense handshake as another entry in their rivalry looms near. Will Gulak win again or will Hendry wn the Pure Championship a second time? Will the Pure Rules play a decisive part again?
ROH World Tag Team Championship FTR (Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler) (c) vs Tony Deppen and Mark Haskins vs LFI (Dragon Lee and Rush) The first ROH PPV event of 2024 is main evented by one of the most unpredictable matches in recent memory. Following his win at Final Battle, new ROH World Champion would come out for his celebration, with big brother Rush on his side, and the two would claim to be the most dominant unit in ROH and that they have the entire company in the palm of their hands. This would bring out ROH World Television Champion Mark Haskins, who says he's been more dominant than both of them, brings up his year-long reign, beating Rush at Final Battle and calls himself the best in the world. As Haskins and the brothers were about to come to blows, Tony Deppen came out and say that despite the loss at Final Battle, the face of ROH and the best wrestler in the world is still him. New ROH World Tag Team Champions FTR would come out next, claiming to be the most dominant duo not only in ROH, but in all of wrestling, and that they proved to be the best in the world at Final Battle when they won the biggest dream match in tag team wrestling. The stage was set for a championship heavy main event, with the new tag champions putting their titles on the line for the first time. Which one of these alliances will stand strong: the battle tested combo of one of an all-time great tag team, the loose alliance between two of the best wrestlers in the world, or the bond of blood between two ungovernable brothers?
It was difficult for me to come up with part this card, the next step following a big show like Final Battle is never easy but I'm excited about the direction things are going
