Pretty sure Bolton, Port Vale and Sunderland AFC all winning at the same time is a sign of the coming apocalypse.

Going to have to hope it doesn't mean the end times are near, I'm hoping I can at least reach the 1900s before ending this (but the further the better).

Somehow we all knew that the next meeting between Bolton and Sunderland AFC would be in division 2.
Also Loughborough vs Burslem Port Vale? That result may tell us who really wants to actually avoid the dreaded vote.

I dont want to make a rush judgement but Darwen may very well be in trouble.

Ridiculously tight table as Accrington are nearing half-way to being the drawingest team of all time. They need to collect 7 draws in their next 23 matches to match the record.
Alongside this, Newton Heath, Woolwich Arsenal, Bolton Wanderers and Crewe Alexandra are simultaneously 2 points off the title and 2 points off facing re-election.
Rumour going around is Northwich Victoria might not have the funds to compete at this level and might not apply for re-election should the finish this season in the bottom 4, which is looking increasingly likely.

I'd love for you to get to like 1950 and the Vic's are still hanging around the zone, with rumours of their financial demise circulating.

That sounds both amazing and terrifying given what the elections start getting like around that time period. I genuinely have no clue what the league would even look like if I go that far.
Reminded me to look at my trial survived until 1922/23, which was obviously not posted and was years ago. It's interesting seeing how different the two are already. In that sim Preston won the title for the first 6 seasons (the ones I simmed), I kept closer to actual elections so side Rossendale & Sunderland Albion were never elected but I think the most interesting part are Birmingham St. George's who I decided to elect into the league (gained a bit of a soft spot for them).
First elected in 1891/92 they finished a decent 7th place. They'd finish in 13th (just ahead of the relegation places) in 1893/94, 1894/95 and 1895/96 before finally falling to 14th in 1896/97. Won Div. 2 the next year to return to Div. 1. First season back 9th/18, second season relegated. 1901/02 won Div. 2. 1902/03 won Div. 1. Descended to 17th/20 by 1906/07, relegated dead last in 1908/09. Closed down at the end of 1909/10 season following a 19th place finish in Div. 2. They would not be the only team to fold after winning the top flight as Middlesbrough Ironpolis would win in 1904/05 and ended up closing their doors at the end of the 1915/16 season.

Did Burslem Port Vale suck less in that universe?
