08/19/2004: SmackDown!: Spike Dudley (c) defeated Scotty 2 Hotty to retain the WWE Light Heavyweight Championship 08/19/2004: SmackDown!: Kurt Angle and Luther Reigns defeated Eddie Guerrero and Rey Mysterio

FALLOUT FROM SUMERSLAM; NEW SMACKDOWN GENERAL MANAGER ANNOUNCED
Eddie Guerrero opens up the SmackDown! after SummerSlam in a celebratory mood. Guerrero says that he beat Kurt Angle at SummerSlam and Angle is no longer the SmackDown General Manager and he didnt even have to cheat to win the match. Angle comes down to the ring and talks about how he might not be the SmackDown General Manager anymore but now he can get his hands on Guerrero anytime he wants. Guerrero tells Angle to relax, Guerrero knows how great of a wrestler Angle is and everytime the two step in the ring together its an instant classic. Guerrero says that at SummerSlam, Angle mightve outwrestled Guerrero but Guerrero earned his respect and Angle knows that. Guerrero extends his hand for a handshake to Angle but Angle started attacking Guerrero instead. Luther Reigns then joined Angle before Rey Mysterio came out and evened up the odds. All of a sudden Theodore Long's music hits and Long comes out and says that he is the new SmackDown! General Manager and tonight the main event will be Eddie Guerrero and Rey Mysterio taking on Kurt Angle and Luther Reigns.

08/23/2004: RAW: Edge (c) defeated Chris Jericho to retain the WWE Intercontinental Championship
RAW - Arrowhead Pond - Anaheim, California - August 23, 2004
LITA IS FORCED TO MARRY KANE
After Kane defeated Matt Hardy at SummerSlam, Lita was forced to marry the Big Red Machine. Kane is seen in the middle of the ring wearing a white tuxedo. The whole entire RAW entrance and ring are set to white with flowers, orchestra and the venue. Lita comes out wearing a black dress, a sign that upsets Kane. Eric Bischoff is the minister and he reads a verse out of the bible in front of Kane and Lita. Kane then shows a video of Lita and the shocking revelation that Lita is pregnant with Kane's baby. Kane says his vows and then Lita says the same but Lita tells Kane that she will always love Matt Hardy and for Kane to rot in hell. Eric Bischoff finishes up with asking anybody in the back to "speak now or forever hold your peace". Trish Stratus music hit's and shes wearing a maid of honor outfit (that helped me get through ****rty). Trish tells Lita to marry Kane and to love him and to stop opening her legs for the RAW locker room. Lita tries to attack Trish but Kane holds her back and continues the ceremony. Kane then starts saying his final words before saying "I DO". Before Lita can say those two words, Matt Hardy comes out and starts attacking Kane. Kane and Matt Hardy fight up the ramp and Kane is about to chokeslam Matt off the stage before Lita stops Kane and says "I DO". Kane drops Matt before walking down back to the ring and Bischoff says "You may kiss the Bride". Kane then grabbed Lita by the hair and kissed Lita making it official. The alter started to burn in fire before Kane carried Lita to the back while Matt Hardy watched and Lita cried.
 Kane and Lita. Forever Happy? Lita was forced to marry Kane.

ERIC BISCHOFF MAKES HUGE ANNOUNCEMENT FOR UNFORGIVEN MATCH; MORE MATCHES MADE
the RAW General Manager Eric Bischoff opens up RAW with an announcement regarding the WWE Intercontinental Championship, Bischoff says that Edge is injured and the championship is now vacant. Christian's music hits and Christian comes down to the ring and claims that all his peeps will be upset if Bischoff doesnt give him the championship. Chris Jericho then comes out and tells Bischoff that he deserves to fight for the IC championship right here, right now. Bischoff says he likes the idea but that match will take place at Unforgiven between Christian and Chris Jericho in a Ladder match with the Intercontinental Championship on the line. Bischoff then makes the announcement that at Unforgiven, Eugene and William Regal will face off against the World Tag Team Champions, La Resistance for the World Tag Team Championship. Trish Stratus will defend her WWE Women's Championship against Lita. Shawn Michaels will take on the Big Red Machine Kane and Randy Orton will defend his World Heavyweight Championship against former Evolution stablemate, Triple H.

SmackDown! - Tulsa Convention Center - Tulsa, Oklahoma - September 09, 2004
NEW WWE TAG TEAM CHAMPIONS CROWNED
the current WWE Tag Team Champions Dudley Boyz are in the ring with the current WWE Light Heavyweight Champion, Spike Dudley. Spike grabs a microphone and tells the world that they are the most dominate team in the WWE. Spike issues an open challenge for the WWE Tag Team Championships on behalf of his brothers Bubba Ray and D-Von. Billy Kidman and Paul London answer the challenge and the two start brawling before London hits a top rope missle dropkick followed by a moonsault for a close early fall. London then attacks Bubba with strikes and throws Bubba to the floor. D-Von hits a neckbreaker before Bubba gets back to the ring. The champions take control before missing a middle rope headbutt. Kidman gets the hot tag and the four men start fighting. All hell breaks lose with D-Von and London being sent to the outside. Spike tries to interfere but accidently hits Bubba instead. London rolls back in and hits a superkick on Bubba that knocks him down to give Kidman enough time and hit the Shooting Star Press for the 1-2-3 and to win the WWE Tag Team Championships.
