 Rey Mysterio battled Kane for the World Heavyweight Championship. Kane retained the championship but was later revealed to be the man who attacked the Undertaker. Randy Orton came this close to becoming WWE Champion again but Sheamus was too quick and hit Orton with the Brogue Kick to pin and retain the WWE Championship. In one of the biggest matches in SummerSlam history, NEXUS battled the WWE superstars in a 7-on-7 Elimination match. The match came down to NEXUS's leader Wade Barrett and WWE's John Cena. Barrett won the match for the NEXUS and have officially made NEXUS the most dominate force in the WWE today. |

LUCHA LIBRE ROYALTY DEBUTS ON SMACKDOWN!
San Diego's own Rey Mysterio opens up SmackDown! Rey said that last Sunday was one of the most grueling matches of his life and he couldnt have done it without the WWE Universe helping him get through it. Mysterio said that things didnt end up the way he wanted to but now the world knows that Kane was the one who attacked his brother the Undertaker and Mysterio is innocent. Mysterio said that Kane put alot of innocent people in harms way and he knows the Undertaker is going to take care of that family business. All of a sudden out comes Alberto Del Rio, the son of legendary Lucha Libre superstar Don Caras and nephew of Mil Mascaras. Del Rio said that tonight he's making his WWE debut (for the last few weeks vignettes have played hyping Del Rio's arrival). Del Rio said it's an honor to meet another Lucha Libre legend in Rey Mysterio. Del Rio said that they are both national treasures in the ring. Del Rio talks about being a millionaire in Mexico and it's time to show the WWE Universe that he is from the most famous bloodline in all of Mexico. Del Rio says he comes from a family of Kings and Queens while Mysterio is from the horrible disgusting streets of San Diego. Del Rio says that Rey is a joke of a man, Del Rio says he is handsome and rich and powerful and doesnt hide behind a mask. Del Rio says the suit that he is wearing now is worth more than everybody in this arena income combined. Mysterio made fun of Del Rio and said he's got a lot of guts coming out here talking to Mysterio when Mysterio is the King of San Diego. Mysterio says that hes seen fakes like Del Rio a million times and says if Del Rio wants to prove himself than he's got to earn the respect around here and Del Rio hasnt even earned a thing. Del Rio calls Mysterio a peasant and says tonight he's going to make Mysterio respect him. Mysterio said that Del Rio should make his debut against Mysterio tonight!. Del Rio said he cant wait to squish the cockroach of Mysterio in the slum of San Diego. Mysterio smacked Del Rio and Del Rio backed away and left. The main event is set and later in the night Del Rio comes out with his own personal ring announcer Ricardo Rodriguez. Del Rio came out in a Rolls Royce. Mysterio came out to a huge ovation from his hometown crowd. Alberto and Rey battled with Del Rio attacking Mysterio's arm. Alberto went for a senton from the top rope but Rey took Del Rio down. Rey went for the 619 but Del Rio grabbed his legs and threw him in the turnbuckle. Del Rio then put Mysterio in a crossarm breaker forcing Mysterio to submit making Del Rio's debut a success.

SHEAMUS HANDPICKS OPPONENT FOR WWE CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH ON RAW #900
RAW opens with the WWE Championship Sheamus coming out and talking about how the WWE Universe is a bunch of spoiled brats. Sheamus kept mocking the fans in the arena calling them lazy. Sheamus said the most spoiled brat is Randy Orton and Orton knew that he could never beat Sheamus at SummerSlam and assaulted Sheamus on RAW and the worst thing was the fans were cheering for Orton! Sheamus said no matter what, he is still the WWE Champion. Sheamus said that at the Night of Champions is coming up and his next title defense will be anybody besides Randy Orton. Sheamus said that Orton should be in prison!. DING DING. The Anonymous RAW General Manager sent out another message for Michael Cole to read. The Anonymous RAW GM said that Sheamus is right and Sheamus should be rewarded for his hard fought victory at SummerSlam. The RAW GM said that Sheamus gets to decide his next challenger and brought out a throne for Sheamus to sit on and watch the matches. Sheamus said that throughout the night, Sheamus will evaluate the superstars and at the end of the night he'll announce his opponent for the WWE Championship match. The first match was Edge taking on Ron Killings. Edge won the match with a big spear. Edge got on the microphone and said that Sheamus sits on a stupid throne and that Edge is the Rated R Superstar and Sheamus is an embarrassment. The next match was Chris Jericho taking on the Great Khali. Shockingly, Jericho forced the Great Khali to tap out to the Walls of Jericho! As Jericho was telling Sheamus to pick him for his next challenger, the Great Khali hit Jericho with a huge Brain Chop. Later in the night the United States Champion the Miz took on John Cena. Miz attempted to hit the Skull Crushing Finale on Cena but Bryan Danielson ran down to the ring distracting the Miz allowing Cena to hit the FU and win. The fourth and final match was Randy Orton taking on John Morrison. Morrison went for a springboard maneuver but Orton hit Morrison with the RKO and won the match. Orton didnt say anything but just stood in the ring staring at Sheamus. After the match Sheamus came down to the ring and made the announcement. Sheamus said he's not waiting for Night of Champions to defend the WWE Championship and he's ready to give a title opportunity to somebody whos never had one before and that person is...ZACK RYDER!! Ryder came out and thanked Sheamus for the offer but said Sheamus made the biggest mistake of his life because Zack Ryder is always ready (aha) for these opportunities. The match began and Ryder gave Sheamus his best and came close to winning the WWE Championship on several times during the match but Sheamus hit Ryder with a huge Brogue Kick to retain the WWE Championship. After the match Sheamus said that he's taking the Night of Champions off and he's not going to defend the WWE Championship. DING DING! Michael Cole received the email and said that at Night of Champions Sheamus will defend the WWE Championship in a huge six pack challenge match. Sheamus will defend it against, Chris Jericho, Edge, John Cena, Randy Orton and ZACK RYDER! After the match all the superstars came down in the ring and started brawling.
 Sheamus was given the oppotunity to pick his opponent for Night of Champions. Unfortunately for the WWE Champion, the Anonymous RAW GM made a Six Pack Challenge at the PPV. |

SEASON TWO FINALE ENDS IN CONTROVERSY
Matt Striker welcomes everybody to the season finale of NXT Season 2! Striker says tonight the quarterfinals will take place with the winners facing off this Sunday at NXT: TakeOver II. Striker brings out the finalists, AC Riley, Bray Rotunda, Joe Henning and Kaval. Striker says there has been a poll set up with each possible quarterfinals match up that the fans have been voting on all week and the results are in, Bray Rotunda vs Joe Henning and AC Riley vs Kaval. Striker says that throughout the night we will reveal the NXT rookies for season three and this time theres a twist! NXT GM Josh Lomberger reveals that season three will be an all female season and announces the participants: Aksana (Vilnius, Lithuania), Aloisia (Walnut Creek, Florida), April Lee (Union City, New Jersey), Celeste (Houston, Texas), Jamie Keyes (Sarasota, Florida), Lacey Von Erich (Denton, Texas), Maxine (Tampa, Florida) and Naomi (Orlando, Florida). The first semifinals match takes place next with generational superstars Bray Rotunda taking on Joe Henning. The two heavyweights battled but at the end Henning defeated Rotunda with the Perfect-Plex for the 1-2-3 and to advance to the NXT Championship match this Sunday!. Striker was then with the eliminated rookies and announced that all of them will be competing at Sunday's TakeOver and there matches will be revealed the moment they are in the ring. Cody Rhodes came out and announced that him and a mystery tag team partner are going to face off against the NXT Tag Team Champions, the Fatu's at NXT: TakeOver and challenged one of them right here, right now. Jey answered the challenge and the two fought but Cody got the win with the Cross Rhodes. The last semifinal match took place with AC Riley and Kaval looking to join Joe Henning this Sunday for the vacant NXT Championship match. AC knocked Kaval off the apron before sending Kaval to the floor. Riley brought Kaval back in the ring but Kaval reversed and hit Riley with a huge kick to the face. Kaval put the dragon sleeper on Riley but Riley managed to grab the ropes. Kaval went up for the Double Stomp but Riley moved and rolled up Kaval for a near fall. The finish came when Kaval got Riley into another Dragon Sleeper hold and Riley fell back on Kaval and the referee made the pinfall but the moment the referee made the three count, Riley tapped out. Controversy arose and it took a while before the Josh Lomberger came out and announced that BOTH AC Riley and Kaval will advance to the finals and the NXT Championship match at NXT: TakeOver will now be a triple threat match. The three men stared down before multiple WWE superstars came down to the ring. the Miz lead the group and talked about how after Sunday, the NXT rookies will be on either RAW and SmackDown! and last time that lead to a NEXUS invasion and the Miz said the WWE superstars will not have that happen again and all the WWE superstars but a beatdown on the NXT rookies and that concludes NXT season two.  the WWE superstars send a message to the graduating class of NXT Rookies that they wont allow another NEXUS invasion in the future. |

and in the main event for the vacant NXT Championship, AC Riley, Joe Henning and Kaval battled in an impactful triple threat match.
At the end of the match, the son of legendary wrestler Curt Henning was just too "perfect" for Kaval and Riley and walked away as the NXT Champion!.

BROTHERS OF DESTRUCTION COLLIDE AT NIGHT OF CHAMPIONS
the World Heavyweight Champion Kane appears on t he titantron with a message to his brother the Undertaker. Kane says its time for the Undertaker to face his apocalypse. Kane said that at Night of Champions, it is the end of the Undertaker. Kane said he will defend his World Heavyweight Championship against Undertaker and he will finally put his brother to rest. Kane said that the Undertaker needs to recognize his vices and that Undertaker lives with the seven deadly sins. Kane runs down how the Undertaker lives with pride and envy and that gives him power. Kane was speaking before the lights went out and the droids bring out the casket. All of a sudden Kane comes out of the casket and says he wished he could see the look on the Undertakers face right now. Kane said nothing the Undertaker will do will stop Kane. Kane said the Undertaker now walks in the shadow of the World Heavyweight Champion and he's sick and tired of being "the other brother". Kane says nobody in the world knows the Undertakers weaknesses more than Kane. Kane talks about attacking the Undertaker and putting him in the comatose state. Kane says that after Night of Champions, the Undertaker will not rise up and the world will be let down and see the Undertaker as the mangled mess that he is now. Kane says the Undertakers powers are now useless and Kane is the most powerful entity in the WWE. Kane says that he will be the new phenom and the Undertaker will feel Kane's rage. All of a sudden the Undertaker's music hits and the Deadman comes out. Taker gets into the ring and the lights go out but when they come back on Kane is gone. Undertaker looks inside of the casket and sees that its empty. All of a sudden Kane appears on the titantron again and says that the Undertaker taught Kane everything that he knows and Kane is the most evil that he's ever been. Kane says that at Night of Champions, the Brothers of Destruction will Rest. In. Peace.

DANIELSON VS MIZ II AT NIGHT OF CHAMPIONS FOR THE UNITED STATES CHAMPIONSHIP
the Miz comes out and talks about the past 6 years in the WWE and how he's climbed his way to the top of the company. Miz said that he went from a reality start to the United States Champion. the Miz talks about being on Tough Enough and how the superstars in the back used to think he was a joke but he never caved to the pressure and he came and got the job done. Miz talks about all his former championship wins and all the championships he's going to win in the future. Miz talks about his tag team split with John Morrison and how he's now the star and Morrison is just the sidekick. Miz said that people thought he was going to fall into obscurity and how he was never good enough to be on his own but the Miz proved everybody wrong and has been level above the competition. the Miz talks about the Money in the Bank and promises that he will one day become the WWE Champion. Miz says the superstars in the back cant believe that he became the biggest star in the company. Miz revealed the cover of the newest edition of the WWE magazine and he talks about how every boy and girl is going to hang up the Miz's poster and dream about being the next Miz. the Miz says he is now the poster child of the WWE and nobody can ever deny him his legacy. the Miz says that he has every right to say that the Miz is AWESOME!! All of a sudden Bryan Danielson comes out and wants to congratulate the Miz. Danielson says that him and the Miz have a lot in common. Danielson said that nobody thought he would make it either and that even though Danielson has not accomplished as much as the Miz, he's made it to the top of the professional wrestling mountain. Danielson said theres one thing that he is and that's the anti superstar. Danielson said that he wants to make a name for himself and challenged the Miz to a match at Night of Champions for the United States Championship. the Miz says that Danielson cant afford a haircut or even buy the Miz's magazine and Danielson doesnt deserve a title shot. Danielson said that he sees the next cover of the WWE magazine being a picture of Danielson tapping out the Miz. Danielson said that he's not leaving until the Miz accepts or Danielson will have to tap the Miz out right here, right now. the Miz said that he's sick and tired of Danielson and he's hated his guts ever since Danielson walked through the doors in NXT. the Miz said that Danielson wont last six years in the company because after Night of Champions the Miz is going to send Danielson back to the bingo halls and accepted Danielson's challenge. Danielson thanked the Miz before the Miz attempted to hit Danielson but Danielson took him down and got him in the LeBell lock. All of a sudden AC Riley came through the audience and attacked Danielson but Danielson got Riley down and got the LeBell lock on Riley as the Miz watched from the outside. Danielson looked at the Miz while Riley kept tapping with a grin on his face.

KANE CHALLENGES UNDERTAKER AT HELL IN A CELL; FAMILIAR FACE RETURNS
SmackDown! opens with Chris Masters in the ring ready to take on his opponent for the night. All of a sudden the World Heavyweight Champion Kane comes down to the ring and chokeslams Masters before giving him a tombstone. Kane said that on Sunday he took all the power away from the Undertaker but he still wasnt able to take Undertakers soul. Kane said that the Undertaker is pathetic just like the WWE Universe. Kane says that everybody in this arena fears Kane and he could smell the fear on the Undertaker. Kane said that nobody is capable of stopping him anymore and tonight he will dispose of the Undertaker's body. Kane said that later tonight he's going to end the legend of the Undertaker. Later in the night Kane comes back out and tells the Undertaker that the apocalypse is here and he's ready to deliver the Undertaker his own personal Armageddon and now he's standing in HIS yard. Kane says that at Hell in the Cell, the Phenom will fall. Kane says that at Hell in a Cell, he's going to put the Undertaker out of his misery and end it all, inside HELL IN A CELL! Kane says that he's ready to raise the stakes and its time to end it where it all began. Kane said that its time for the "Devils favorite Demon" to send the Undertaker to hell where he belongs. Kane is the creature of the night and everybody in the WWE Universe will answer to him. Kane said that it's time for the Undertaker to show his face and accept his faith. Kane said the epilogue to the story will be the same as the epitaph. "Here lies the Undertaker, he will never rest in peace and he will burn in hell, FOREVER". All of a sudden the Undertaker's theme hit and the droids come out rolling down a casket. Kane slowly opens the casket and laying in that casket is PAUL BEARER!. Paul Bearer gets in the ring and reveals the Undertaker's urn. The lights go out and when they came back on the Undertaker was standing behind Kane. the Undertaker started attacking Kane but Kane got out of the ring and ran up the ramp. Kane watched in horror to see his brother and Paul Bearer posing in the ring with the urn.  Kane challenged the Undertaker to a match at Hell in a Cell but didnt expect returning Paul Bearer to show up and side with the Undertaker. |

HUGE STAKES IN WWE CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH AT HELL IN A CELL
After Heath Slater and Justin Gabriel retained the World Tag Team Championship. NEXUS leader Wade Barrett got on the microphone and challenged WWE Champion John Cena to a match at Hell in a Cell. Barrett said that if Cena is a man of his word he'll take on Barrett since Cena's goal is to take apart the NEXUS one by one, why not start with the leader. Barrett says that Cena doesnt have choice because if Cena doesnt accept he's going to find Cena and NEXUS will kick his teeth down his throat. Cena came out and confronted Barrett. The rest of the NEXUS surrounded the ring and was ready to attack Cena but Cena took out a steel pipe from his jorts. Barrett rolled out of the ring and Cena took out Heath Slater, then Michael Tarver and finally Justin Gabriel before getting on the microphone. Cena says that Barrett is next but he's not here to take him out tonight, he's going to do it at Hell in a Cell. Cena told Barrett to get back in the ring and Cena threw the steel pipe on the floor. Cena said that at Hell in a Cell, if Cena win, NEXUS must disband. Wade Barrett says that beating Cena again wont sweeten the deal and says taking the WWE Championship off Cena will just have Cena invoke his rematch clause and he wants Cena to put something bigger on the line. Barrett said that if Barrett wins, John Cena will have to join the NEXUS. Cena accepted the match and said he wants to make this much bigger, he'll put the WWE Championship on the line, forced to join NEXUS and will never have a WWE Championship match ever again, doesnt matter if Barrett is champion or not. Cena also said that if Cena wins, Barrett needs a taste of his own medicine and when Cena beats down Barrett, so does NEXUS. Barrett says that once NEXUS is finished with Cena, he's going to wish he never made those stipulations. Barrett and Cena both agreed and the WWE Championship match at Hell in a Cell is made official.
