TRIPLE THREAT FOR WWE CHAMPIONSHIP AT NIGHT OF CHAMPIONS
RAW opens with the Chief Operating Officer Triple H coming out to the ring and introduced the WWE Champion, John Cena to the ring. They replay Cena winning at SummerSlam and how CM Punk returned and confronted Cena. They also show Alberto Del Rio's foot being underneath the rope while Triple H made the three count as Special Guest Referee. Triple H brings out Del Rio who made his way to the ring upset and wants answers. Cena starts talking and gets mixed reactions before Del Rio gets in Cena's face. Cena says he knows Del Rio is upset and he deserves a rematch for the WWE Championship and Cena is ready to give him one right here, right now. Cena extends his hand but Del Rio wont shake it. Del Rio says that he should be the WWE Champion and that Cena should lay down for Del Rio and give Del Rio back what is his. Cena says that if Del Rio wants some, he can get some at Night of Champions. All of a sudden CM Pun's music returns and he makes his RAW return. Punk grabs the mic and talks about how neither Del Rio or Cena is the rightful WWE Champion and CM Punk never lost his WWE Championship. Punk talks about beating both Cena and Del Rio and that he has a problem with every single person in this ring including the COO Triple H. Punk says that the WWE Board of Directors both tried to screw Punk and that his destiny is to become the next WWE Champion. Del Rio says that for everybody to stop crying and that he's not here to be ignored. Triple H takes control and tells all three men that they have a right to be the WWE Champion but officially the only WWE Champion in this ring is John Cena. Triple H says that he's not here to pick favorites and that he is the one that calls the shots and says that at Night of Champions, John Cena will defend the WWE Championship against Alberto Del Rio and CM Punk in a triple threat match. All three men stare each other down before Triple H tells them to get to the back.
After a controversial few months with the WWE Championship, a triple threat match for the Undisputed WWE Championship will be on the line at Night of Champions. |

HENRY DESTROYS ORTON INSIDE THE STEEL CAGE
On a special edition of Super SmackDown!, World Heavyweight Champion Randy Orton took on Christian for the World Heavyweight Championship inside a steel cage. The winner of the match will go on and face Mark Henry at Night of Champions. Throughout the night, Matt Striker interviewed Mark Henry about who he would rather face at NOC. Henry said he doesnt care because at the end of the night somebody will be inducted into the Hall of Pain. Striker then interviewed Christian who said that tonight he's going to win back his World Heavyweight Champion and validate his career. Christian said that he's going to get what he wants and make sure that Orton never walks out of the Steel Cage. Later in the main event, Christian and Randy Orton bashed each other inside the Steel Cage when Orton won with a RKO to win and retain the World Heavyweight Championship. Unfortunately for the World Heavyweight Champion, Mark Henry came out and attacked Orton and Henry took the World Heavyweight Championship and celebrated it over the fallen champions body.

TRIPLE H CONFRONTS CM PUNK BEFORE NIGHT OF CHAMPIONS
WWE COO Triple H opens up RAW to talk about the upcoming Night of Champions PPV. Before Triple H can get a word in he is interrupted by one of the participants of the triple threat WWE Championship match, CM Punk. Triple H let Punk know that the triple threat match will now be a No Disqualification which means that anything goes. CM Punk tells Triple H that after Night of Champions he's going to drop another pipe bomb that will make the one he dropped a few months look like a dud. Triple H talks about how people like CM Punk don't quite fit the image of what a WWE Champion is, Triple H says that he was once a degenerate like Punk but he grew up and is now in the position that he is in because he did what the company wanted. CM Punk and Triple H stare each other down before saying that he's not here to pick favorites and he's keeping his nose out of the match. CM Punk says that Triple H was once the King of the Kings but now he sits at the table listening and nodding yes to whatever his father-in-law says. CM Punk keeps talking about Triple H and Vince McMahon before his microphone is cut off once again. CM Punk tries to talk again but gets frustrated and hits Triple H over the head with the microphone!! CM Punk stands over Triple H while personnel and officials come and take Punk to the back.

NXT: NIGHT OF CHAMPIONS
NXT General Manager Josh Lomberger announced a very special edition of NXT. With the Night of Champions being held in a few days where every single championship is on the line, Lomberger announced that tonight's NXT, all three championships will be on the line with the main event being a rematch between NXT Champion Ethan Guerrero III taking on Matt Striker in a bitter personal battle. The first match was the NXT Womens Championship between Tamina defending her NXT Championship against NXT Season Three's Maxine. Tamina used her strength and retained her NXT Womens Championship with an ode to her father, Jimmy Superfly Snuka with a big splash from the top rope to pin Maxine and win. We then cut to the back and see a promo from BRODUS announcing that he will take on the winner of the NXT Championship match in a later date and that he's going to become the most dominate NXT Champion of all time. The next match was for the NXT Tag Team Championship with Pain Train Players (Darren Young and Titus O'Neil) along with JTG taking on Jey Fatu and Jimmy Fatu. It looked like the Fatu Brothers would become the NXT Tag Team Champion but JTG interfered on behalf of the PTP by pushing Jey off the top rope allowing Titus O'Neil hit a huge Million Dollar Slam on Jimmy and pinned to retain the tag team championships. We see William Regal in the back being interviewed and talking about his upcoming match against TJ Wilson. The main event was for the NXT Championship with Ethan Guerrero III, whos been the NXT Champion since April taking on Matt Striker. Striker who was the voice of NXT for weeks has been attacked and threatened by EGIII before hitting his breaking point and challenging EGIII to a match a few weeks ago. Striker lost the match but promised that he would take the NXT Championship off of EGIII and GM Lomberger said that tonight will be Striker's last chance at the NXT Championship. The main event match started with EGIII beating Striker down and Striker coming within just a second from being the NXT Champion but fortunely for the champion, EGIII hit the 1% on Striker and pinned Striker ending his dream of being the NXT Champion.

After the Great Khali took out his cousin Jinder Mahal after months of torment, Awesome Truth (the Miz and Ron Killings) took advantage and rolled up Kofi Kingston to become the new World Tag Team Champions.
Mark Henry hits the World Strongest Slam on Randy Orton to become World Heavyweight Champion and end Orton's short title reign.
Shockingly during the WWE Championship match, Kevin Nash returned and Jackknifed CM Punk allowing Alberto Del Rio to cover the Straight Edge Superstar and win the championship after two hooded men took out the WWE Champion John Cena. |

WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION MARK HENRY PUTS THE SMACKDOWN ROSTER ON NOTICE
SmackDown! opens with Theodore Long marching to the ring along with the superstars of the blue brand. Long announced that he's going to name a new number one contender for Mark Henry's World Heavyweight Championship but first he has to make an announcement that he's been dreading to do for a while. Long says that from this moment on he is once again Co-General Manager of SmackDown! and will share his power with John Laurinaitis. JL comes out and says he understands the decision and will work with Long to make SmackDown! the most dominate brand in the WWE. JL says that he wants to introduce the new World Heavyweight Champion and brings out Mark Henry. JL hands Henry a microphone and Henry tells the rest of the SmackDown roster how he's worked for nearly two decades to earn this championship and nobody is going to take that away from him. Henry says that he's glad that Laurinaitis is here now since Long never had faith in Henry. Laurinaitis thanked Henry and said that now SmackDown! has a dominate champion and announces that the new no. 1 contender will be CHRISTIAN. Theodore Long grabbed the microphone and told JL and Henry "Hold a second playa, the No. 1 Contender is going to be Randy Orton!" Both Christian and Orton get in the ring and talk back and forth about how they deserve to be the No. 1 Contender when Long said that since they are both dressed and ready to compete and the SmackDown! roster is out here, we will determine the new number one contender in a Lumberjack match, right here, right now. Henry stared down both while Christian attempted to get out of the match only for the SmackDown! roster to throw him back in the ring and the match began. After much back and forth with Christian, Orton and the outside lumberjacks, Orton won the match before Henry took out Orton with the Worlds Strongest Slam making the match at Hell in a Cell official between Henry and Randy Orton.

VINCE MCMAHON RETURNS TO ANNOUNCE MAIN EVENT MATCHES FOR VENGEANCE
RAW opens with COO Triple H coming down to the ring to talk about the hectic last few months in the World Wrestling Entertainment. Triple H talks about how ever since he's been in charge things have been flipped upside down. Triple H talks about Kevin Nash interfering in the WWE Championship match at Night of Champions and the two hooded men that still havent been revealed. Triple H says that in a few weeks there will be a huge pay per view in Mexico City and he wants things to get back in order. Triple H says that Alberto Del Rio is the WWE Champion and even though Hell in a Cell ended in controversy, ADR walked out as champion. Triple H talks about the RAW roster and SmackDown! roster combining for the next few months and holding Supershows ever Monday and Friday. Triple H says that there still in an Anonymous RAW GM and that both John Laurentis and Theodore Long are both co-General Managers of SmackDown!. Triple H is about to announce the main event of Rebellion when all of a sudden the Chairman Vince McMahon comes out to interrupt his son-in-law. McMahon says he's proud of Triple H for standing up for the company in his absence. McMahon says he believes in Triple H and for Triple H to continue to keep doing what he's doing but right now McMahon has to step in and put things back in order. McMahon says that there are some people on the Board that doesnt think that Triple H is doing a great job and his job performance will be under review when McMahon interviews the entire WWE roster. McMahon announces that at Vengeance main event will be Alberto Del Rio taking on John Cena for the WWE Championship in a Last Man Standing match. McMahon also announces that Triple H will be competing in a match alongside CM Punk and will take on Awesome Truth in a nontitle tag team match.
