RAW Is WAR - Pepsi Arena - Albany, New York - March 30, 1998AUSTIN RINGS IN THE ATTITUDE ERA, TRIPLE H FORMS DEGENERATION - XVince McMahon is in the middle of the ring with a new WWF Championship belt, he calls out WWF Champion Stone Cold Steve Austin and awards him with the new WWF Championship. Austin says he doesnt like Vince, Vince doesnt like Austin, but hes the champion and if you don't like that tough luck. Vince says he does not hate Austin, he finds Austin to be a genuine human being, he loves Austin. Austin asks him what he said and Vince says he loves him as a figure of speech and lets not get confrontational. Austin says that's all he does is get conformational. Austin says now that hes WWF Champion he is leading the WWF into a new direction, that hes a champion with attitude and this is now the Attitude Era. Austin says he's not going to do what Vince says and nobody tells Stone Cold what to do and thats the bottom line. Vince says we can do this the easy way, or the hard way. Austin says he only does one way and thats the Stone Cold Steve Austin way before he stuns Vince McMahon for the very first time. Pictured above: Stone Cold Steve Austin with the new WWF Championship before hitting the Stone Cold Stunner on WWF Owner Vince McMahonTRIPLE H FORMS DEGENERATION-X WITH THE RETURNING X-PAC, NEW AGE OUTLAWS AND CHYNA
Directly after the WrestleMania XIV rematch for the WWF Tag Team Championship bout between the champions New Age Outlaws and Cactus Jack and Chainsaw Charlie, Shawn Michaels and Triple H ran down to the ring to attack Cactus and Charlie, after the beat down by the four men, Chyna kneeled behind Shawn Michaels and gave him a low blow. Triple H later went on to pedigree his former tag team partner Michaels before proclaiming that he is sick of being in Michaels shadow. He then says out with the old and in with the new. Triple H says he can only trust Chyna, he can only trust the Outlaws and he can only trust, the Kliq before pointing to the entrance. To the shock of everybody the returning 123 Kid, now called X-Pac came down to the ring and embraced Triple H and Chyna and the Outlaws. After tying up Michaels to the ring ropes, the newly formed Degeneration-X posed together for the very first time.

RAW Is WAR - Gund Arena - Cleveland, Ohio - June 26, 1998
KANE INTRODUCES HIS NEW FACTION THE BROOD
(At the 1998 King of the Ring, Kane defeated Stone Cold Steve Austin to become WWF Champion in a First Blood Hell in a Cell match. It looked like Stone Cold Steve Austin was going to retain his championship when all of a sudden the lights in the arena went out and three men propelled down from the rafters to cut the top of the Hell in a Cell open to give Kane a lead pipe which Kane then busted open Stone Cold Steve Austin for the victory)
Paul Bearer and Kane came down to the ring with the WWF Championship awarded to them by Vince McMahon and WWF Commissioner Sgt. Slaughter. Paul Bearer said that hes watched Kane tourmet himself for 20 years thinking about the Undertaker, all he wanted to do was be like the Undertaker and now that he is the WWF Champion he is not only like the Undertaker, hes better than the Undertaker! Paul Bearer said hes never had friends before but last night he found some and for the first time and introduced the three men who helped him win the WWF Championship. The arena went dark against and the top of the ramp started to set on fire when all of a sudden three men came up from the floor and walked down to the ring. Paul Bearer said I want you to meet "Edge, Christian and Gangrel". After the introductions Stone Cold Steve Austins music hit and ran down and cleared the ring and challenged him to a match at Fully Loaded next month.
