ANIMAL KICKS HAWK OUT OF THE LEGION OF DOOM; DROZ "PUSHES" HAWK OFF THE TOP OF THE TITANTRON
After many weeks of tension between the legendary tag team it all came to ahead when after Animal introduced Droz into the new Legion of Doom original member Hawk was very upset about the new addition. Animal said that Hawk was unfit to wrestle and to let Puke "Droz's new name" be Animals tag team partner from now on. Animal said Hawks alcohol and drug abuse was tearing the team apart and this was the best for them. Hawk told Animal that Legion of Doom was all he had and hes in dark times. Animal said it doesnt matter, you're out and Puke is in. Hawk then went too far and climbed up the top of the Raw Is War titantron and threatened to jump if Animal didn't let him be part of the team. Puke followed behind trying to convince Hawk down from the titantron but in the struggle accidently pushed Hawk and plummeted behind the titantron to the floor below.

SABLE WINS WWF WOMENS CHAMPIONSHIP FROM JACQUELINE
On the last episode of RAW of the year the WWF had one more title change. Jacqueline with Marc Mero in her corner put her WWF Womens Championship on the line against Sable. After dominating for the majority of the match, Jacqueline went for her tornado DDT only for Sable to reverse her and hit the Sable Bomb for the 1-2-3. After the match she hit the Sable Bomb on her former husband Marc Mero and celebrated with the WWF Womens Championship. |

MANKIND WINS THE WWF CHAMPIONSHIP FROM THE ROCK
In a No Disqualification match for the WWF Championship, bitter rivals the Rock and Mankind went head to head for the WWF Championship. They started the contest by brawling outside, Rock hits Mankind over the head with the ring bell and puts Mick through a table with a Rock Bottom. Mick kicks out after a Corporate Elbow. The Big Boss Man from the Corporation then comes running down to the ring but hits a Double Armed DDT on the Boss Man. Ken Shamrock comes down but is interupted by Billy Gun and the rest of the Corporation and Degeneration-X members brawl on the outside. Stone Cold Steve Austin arrives and hits Rock with a chair. Austin then pulls Mankind on top for the cover and the 1-2-3 to become the new WWF Champion! |

 RAW Is War - America West Arena - Phoenix, Arizona - January 25, 1999THE CORPORATION CELEBRATES RUMBLE VICTORIES BUT IS INTERUPTED BY NEW WWF COMMISSIONER
After a successful Royal Rumble victory for Vince McMahon, the Rock regaining his WWF Championships and most importantly Stone Cold Steve Austin not going to the main event of WrestleMania the Corporation were riding high and were all in control. Vince said that he wants to welcome the newest member of the Corporation, Paul "Big Show" Wright. Vince tells Wright that since he helped him win the Rumble he earns the $100,000 bounty that Vince put on Stone Cold Steve Austin. Vince says that the main event will feature the Rock defending his WWF Championship against....nobody. Vince will not participate in the main event of the WWF Championship match, Vince did what he needed to do and that was to keep Austin away from WrestleMania XV. All of a sudden, Linda McMahon enters the arena, thats right Vince McMahons wife and COO of the World Wrestling Federation. She tells Vince that as his wife she's proud that he won the Royal Rumble but as a business' owner not having the Rock in the main event of WrestleMania is a bad idea. She also tells the WWF President Sgt. Slaughter that since he has been Vinces puppet for the last few months and helping the Corporation that he is FIRED from his position as WWF President. Linda McMahon says not to they have found suitable replacement and that the NEW WWF Commissioner is.....the HEARTBREAK KID SHAWN MICHAELS.
Commisioner Shawn Michaels: "thats right, the HEARTBREAK KID is now the HEARTBREAK COMMISSIONER". Michaels says theres too much talk of WrestleMania XV, we still have one more stop to go on the Road to WrestleMania and thats St. Valentines Day Massacre. He tells Vince if he wants to relinquish his championship opportunity that hes going to have to face Stone Cold Steve Austin in a number one contenders match, Vince wins, no championship match at WrestleMania, but if Stone Cold Steve Austin, he will face the WWF Champion at the main event of WrestleMania, oh and one more thing, it'll be inside a STEEL CAGE.
Also, the WWF has teamed up with the NFL to do a one night only special during the halftime of the 1999 Superbowl, and that will be named "Halftime Heat" which will feature three matches all featuring the Corporation members. Big Boss Man and Ken Shamrock will defend their WWF Tag Team Championships against Jeff Jarrett and Owen Hart, X-Pac will defend his WWF European Championship against Test, the Rock will defend his WWF Championship against Mankind LIVE at in Miami, Florida at Pro Player Stadium during the Denver Broncos/Atlanta Falcons halftime show.

WWF European Championship bout: X-Pac (c) defeated TestWWF Tag Team Championship bout: Jeff Jarrett and Owen Hart defeated Big Boss Man and Ken Shamrock (c)SUPERBOWL STREET FIGHT: WWF Championship bout: the Rock (c) defeated Mankind In one of the wildest WWF Championship matches of all time, the Rock defended his WWF Championship against Mankind during the Halftime show of the Superbowl XXXIII. Both men brawled all around Pro Player Stadium and ended up in the backstage area. Unfortunely for Mankind, the Rock ended up victorious after the Big Show entered his way and chokeslammed Mankind through a catering table. The Rock then Rock Bottomed Mankind on a bunch of empty beer kegs and pinned Mankind to retain his WWF Championship. |

THE MEAN STREET POSSE DEBUT HELPS SHANE MCMAHON WIN WWF EUROPEAN CHAMPIONSHIP
Following multiple unsuccessful weeks of Shane McMahon trying to get the European Championship off of X-Pac, Shane McMahon was forced to face the champion in a match by Commissioner Shawn Michaels. Accompanied to the ring by Kane, Shane took on the champion one on one. X-Pac dominated the match until the very end when three men all dressed in preppy clothes ran down to the ring and helped Shane McMahon and lead him to victory and the European Championship. These men were later revealed to be Joey Abs, Pete Gas and Rodney, Shane McMahon friends from the mean street of Greenwich.

BILLY GUNN BEATS BOB HOLLY TO WIN THE WWF LIGHT HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP
With his tag team partner Road Dogg being the WWF Intercontinental Championship, Billy Gunn decided it was his time to win a championship belt himself, he went after the WWF Light Heavyweight Championship held by Bob Holly. Gunn made the challenge and the match was set. After Al Snow came down and made distracted the champion Holly, Gunn hit the Fameasser on the champion for the win and the WWF Light Heavyweight Championship.
