THE FALLOUT OF SURVIVOR SERIES AND THE NEW DIRECTION OF THE WORLD WRESTLING FEDERATION.
Last night Team WWF finally got rid of the Alliance in the Winner Takes All Survivor Series match. Vince McMahon opens up RAW with a laundry list of things he needs to take care. First he calls the former Alliance/WWF Commissioner William Regal to the ring. Vince tells Regal now that there is no more Alliance, he is no longer the Commissioner. Vince tells Regal that if he wants to keep his job than hes going to have to join a club. The first ever member of the Vince McMahon Kiss My Ass Club. Regal hesitate to kiss the Chairman's backside but since Regal got on his knees and puckered up. Vince McMahon said to Regal now that you're officially a member of the World Wrestling Federation, tonight he's going to face, the Undertaker.
Vince then goes over the situation with the championship belts, after Survivor Series the only WCW Championship that wasn't merged with the WWF's was the WCW Heavyweight Championship, Vince calls Chris Benoit, the WCW Champion to the ring. Vince McMahon say's that the championship he holds represents a dead company, WCW is dead but Chris Benoit who has been loyal to the WWF should not be punished and have his championship taken away. Vince tells Benoit that he's got something in mind, he says that championship holds a long list of great champions like Big Van Vader, Randy Savage, the Giant, Diamond Dallas Page, and this man. All of a sudden, RIC FLAIR ENTERS THE ARENA. Ric Flair, the Nature Boy, in his hometown of Charlotte comes down to the ring.
Ric Flair gives Vince McMahon a hug and shakes the hand of Chris Benoit. Ric Flair tells Benoit and the world that after the events of last night, Vince McMahon and Ric Flair have sat down and made it official, Ric Flair is the new WWF President. Ric Flair tells Chris Benoit that his next title defense is at next months Armageddon in December and they are going to unify the WCW Championship and the WWF Championship titles. Vince McMahon gets on the microphone and says hes got one more thing to take care of, his children, Stephanie McMahon and Shane McMahon. Vince tells both his children to come down to the ring. A defeated Shane and Stephanie both come down to the ring with their heads held low. Stephanie gets on the microphone and starts begging for forgiveness and everything was Shane's idea. Shane gets on the microphone and tells them everything was Stephanie's idea. Vince McMahon says both of them to shut up and tonight they are going to have to pay the consequences for their actions. Shane and Stephanie say they will do anything to get their jobs back and Vince laughs in their face. Vince says they are going to wish they never stated the inVasion, but now Vince has hired some protection to make sure something like that never happens again. All of a sudden Bradshaw and Faarooq come down to the ring with Jacqueline. Bradshaw hits Shane McMahon with a Clotheline's From Hell while Farooq hits Shane with a dominator. Jacqueline takes Stephanie and hits her finisher before walking to the back. Flair and Vince stand in the middle of the ring together hand in hand celebrating the new direction of the World Wrestling Federation. |

The Ninth Wonder of the World and former WWF Womens and WWF Intercontinental Champion, Chyna has walked out of the company. Following a backstage incident between Stephanie McMahon and her former fiancé Triple H. Chyna believes that Stephanie was burying Chyna in the back to upper management. She was set to sign a new WWF contract but passed on the offer because of McMahon. |

RIC FLAIR PRESENTS CHRIS JERICHO WITH THE NEW WWF CHAMPIONSHIP; NEW INTERCONTINENTAL CHAMPIONSHIP
After a historical night at Armageddon, Chris Jericho walked out as the new WWF Undisputed Champion. Jericho not only won the WCW Championship but defeated Kurt Angle in the final match to unify the championships. Ric Flair opens up RAW with a brand new WWF Championship. Jericho comes out and talks about how since day one he was going to be champion, but not only is he the champion, he is the UNDISPUTED Champion. Ric Flair congrats Jericho but Jericho told him that this is something Flair has never won and will never win and that makes Jericho better than Flair. Flair tells Jericho that the World Wrestling Federation deserves a champion and not an ego maniac. Flair tells Jericho that at next months Royal Rumble match he will defend his championship against...the Rock!. Jericho takes his new championship and leaves the ring.
 Later in the night, a new attitude Undertaker took on the WWF Intercontinental Champion Edge for the championship. Edge started off the match with some kick strikes before Undertaker hit the champion in the face with a big boot. Taker sent Edge over the top rope and threw Edge into the ring posts. Taker cleared the announce table before attempting to chokeslam Edge through the table but Edge reversed it and hit a Impaler DDT onto the floor. Edge rolled in the ring and Taker did shortly after to break the ten count. Edge set Taker up for a spear but Taker moved and Edge speared the referee instead. Taker went out and grabbed a chair but Edge speared Taker. Edge covered the Deadman but the referee was still down. Christian, Edges former tag team partner came down to the ring and hit an Unprettier on Edge right on top of the chair. Christian ran out of the ring before the Undertaker hit a Tombstone on Edge while the referee made the slow three count and named the Undertaker the new WWF Intercontinental Champion.  the American Badass rides off with one of the only championship hes never held, the WWF Intercontinental Championship. |

BILLY GUNN AND CHUCK PALUMBO ARE THE NEW WWF TAG TEAM CHAMPIONS WITH THEIR NEW MANAGER NIDIA
After Chuck Palumbo and the Alliance lost, Chuck Palumbos job was on the line. Billy Gunn, who won the Immunity Battle Royal tried to help Chuck Palumbo stay employed. The new tag team have went on a winning streak along with their new manager Nidia (Tough Enough winner). The two faced off against the conflicting Hardy Boyz. The Hardyz have been feuding ever since the Cage match at Survivor Series. Matt Hardy has been angry at his brother Jeff for being too much of a daredevil and taking risks instead of using his head to win matches. The two teams squared off at the last SmackDown of the year. The Hardyz came out with Lita, the team of Billy and Chuck with Nidia. The match begins and Jeff starts the match against Chuck Palumbo. Billy Gunn and Chuck Palumbo take turns hitting offensive moves on Jeff while Matt is standing in his corner. Jeff reverses a move and goes to tag in Matt but Matt jumps down off the apron and walks away. He yells at Lita to follow him but Lita stays ringside to encourage Jeff. Nidia takes out Lita with a tackle on the ground, as the referee is trying to break up the catfight outside, Billy and Chuck hit Jeff with their finishing move and Billy pins Jeff to win the WWF Tag Team Championship for his team while Matt stands on the ramp watching this unfold.

THE NEW WORLD ORDER HAS COME TO THE WORLD WRESTLING FEDERATION
The first RAW of 2002 started with Ric Flair and Vince McMahon entering the arena and welcoming in the new year. Ric Flair tells how 2001 was a chaotic year for the World Wrestling Federation and its sure to be another memorable year to come. Vince McMahon tells the sold out Madison Square Garden that the plan for the Royal Rumble later in the month is to have Chris Jericho defend his Undisputed Championship against the Rock. Triple H's music hits and he comes out to the ring. Triple H proclaims that he has entered the Royal Rumble and will go on to main event WrestleMania X8. Triple H says now that hes 100% there is nobody in the World Wrestling Federation whos going to stop him from becoming the next Undisputed Champion. All of a sudden the lights go off in the arena and a familiar song plays.
its the NEW WORLD ORDER!!! Hulk Hogan, Kevin Nash and Scott Hall come down to the ring to a huge ovation. The trio come in the ring and stare down Flair, McMahon and Triple H. Hulk Hogan gets on the microphone and tells the world why they are here in the WWF, Hogan says that they have been brought here to inject some "lethal poison" in the World Wrestling Federation. Kevin Nash tells Triple H that if he wants to become Undisputed Champion he doesnt have to wait long and to join the nWo and they will make him the champion by the weekend. Hall and Nash extend the "too sweet" hand gesture to Triple H, but Triple H walks away. Hogan says that now the nWo has arrived and you're either with them or against them. Before they nWo leaves they take out Flair and McMahon. Flair gets a Jackknife Powerbomb from Nash and Hall gives McMahon an Outsiders Edge.

DIAMOND DALLAS PAGE BECOMES WWF EUROPEAN CHAMPION
After debuting a new positivity side to Diamond Dallas Page, DDP came down to the ring for his scheduled WWF European Championship bout against the champion Kane. Kane comes down to the ring and hits DDP with a huge uppercut. The match begins and big clothesline from Kane to DDP. Kane throws DDP on the ropes. Kane goes for the Tombstone early but DDP reverses it and puts Kane in a sleeper hold. Kane squishes DDP in the corner and hits him with a Big Boot. Kane goes for a chokeslam once again but as Kane is lifting DDP up, DDP reveres and hits a Diamond Cutter for the 1-2-3 and to become the new WWF European Champion.
Diamond Dallas Page wins the European Championship with a little positivity. |

JAZZ REGAINS THE WWF WOMENS CHAMPIONSHIP
Trish Stratus is set to defend her WWF Womens Championship against Jazz. The match begins with Trish starting off with some kicks but Jazz counters and takes over the match. Jazz puts Trish in the corner and slams the champion down. Jazz hits more offensive moves for the two count. Jazz puts Trish in a submission hold but Trish crawls to the ropes to break the count. Trish gets back on the offensive and attempts to hit the Stratusfaction but is countered by Jazz into a fisherman's DDT for the victory and the 1-2-3 and becomes the new WWF Womens Championship.
Making quick work of Trish Stratus, Jazz has won the WWF Womens Championship for a second time. |
