Huh you'd think they'd put on a tribute show for a guy like Lou Thesz. There’s a lot of shows going on between RAW and SmackDown! at the moment but they all did a 10 bell salute to him during RAW.

VINCE MCMAHON ANNOUNCES SMACKDOWN GENERAL MANAGER; A DEBUT SHOWS THAT THEY HAVE RUTHLESS AGGRESSION
After last Monday and the announcement of a new era of the WWE and a brand new General Manager for RAW, Vince McMahon opens SmackDown by making another huge announcement. He tells them that exactly what you saw on RAW, you are going to see tonight on SmackDown!. He tells the world again how he wants to see "Ruthless Aggression" and he wants to see that every Thursday night. He tells him that in order to have some "Ruthless Aggression" you have to be a little "extreme". He introduces the new SmackDown general manager, Paul Heyman.
Paul Heyman comes out down to the ring, Vince tells Heyman that he loved exactly what he did with Brock Lesnar and he wants to do the same with the SmackDown! roster. Paul Heyman gets on the microphone and thanks Vince McMahon for putting him as SmackDown! General Manager and that Brock Lesnar has made an impactful debut and is exactly what he said he would become and thats the next Big Thing. He said Brock Lesnar is on his way to becoming the WWE Undisputed Champion one day and he wont let that opportunity slip out of his hands like Kurt Angle did at the King of the Ring. Kurt Angle came out and proclaims that he never liked Paul Heyman, Angle said that he wouldve joined ECW back in the day if it wasnt for Paul Heyman being in charge. Heyman tells Angle that he doesnt believe that he wouldve been ECW Champion since he couldnt even beat Hulk Hogan. Heyman tells Angle that if he wants to prove that Angle doesnt suck that he will issue an open challenge to anybody in the back and to prove exactly what "Ruthless Aggression" is all about. Angle says thats fine and the match is set. A unknown superstar comes down to the ring and accepts Angle's challenge. The superstar introduces himself as John Cena and tells Angle that he has "Ruthless Aggression" and slaps Kurt Angle in the face. The match begins and Cena puts Angle down, the two surprisingly goes back and forth with Cena surprisingly rolling up Angle for a surprising three count. Cena rolls out of the ring and up the ramp in celebration. Angle is in the ring with Paul Heyman shaking his head in disgust.
Kurt Angle got shown exactly what "Ruthless Aggression" is when the debuting John Cena made his debut on SmackDown!.
