in the main event of Backlash, the Rock took on Goldberg in a rematch from WrestleMania XIX. the Rock defeated Goldberg. Rocky over Goldberg? Sorry but Goldberg really should've ben the one to go over here sense you previously posted the possibility of a title match between him and Sting. Him winning against rock would have he'd have massive heat going into it. Goldberg went over at Wrestlemania. Didn’t want to have the Rock go 0-2 against him. They will have their rubber match wayyyyyy down the line

LEGION OF DOOM RETURNS TO RAW; CHALLENGES FOR THE WORLD TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP
In the opening match of RAW, La Resistance was forced by Co-General Manager Stone Cold Steve Austin to defend their World Tag Team Championships against a mystery tag team. The champions came down to the ring for the match, after a few moments of silence the theme of THE LEGION OF DOOM plays over the arena. Animal and Hawk are reunited and returned to the WWE after four years. After coming close to winning the World Tag Team Championships once again, unfortunately for the Legion of Doom, with interference from Rob Conway, Rene Dupree rolled up Hawk for the 1-2-3 and for La Resistance to retain the World Tag Team Championships.
the Legion of Doom makes a surprise appearance challenging for the World Tag Team Championship.

MR. AMERICA APPEARS ON PIPERS PIT; GETS HELP FROM FAN AFTER PIPER BEATDOWN
Roddy Piper hosts a special Piper Pit segment along side Sean O'Haire. Pipers guest today is non other than Mr. America. Mr. America comes down to the ring and hands an American flag to a fan in the front row. Piper tells Mr. America that he knows he's Hulk Hogan and Piper wants to unmask him to prove to everybody. Mr. America tells Piper that just like Hogan did, Mr. America is going to beat Piper over and over again. Piper gets annoyed at the fan in the front row and tells him to shut up. Mr. America points out that the fan is exactly what Piper is intimidated by and thats somebody who people can look up to. Sean O'Haire goes and gets in the fans face and while Mr. America is distracted by this Piper attacks Mr. America from behind. O'Haire joins in on Piper and the fan jumps the barricade and tries to help Mr. America. Piper takes the fan and begins to attack before slapping him around. Piper puts the fan to sleep with the sleeper hold and throws the fan on Mr. America's body. Piper and O'Haire walk away victorious while we see later backstage Mr. America talking to the fan and the fan tells him his name is Zach Gowen.
A passionate fan tries to save Mr. America from O'Haire and Piper. Later we find out his name is Zach Gowen.

STING TAKES ON RIC FLAIR IN A WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH
After Sting retained the World Heavyweight Championship last night in a triple threat match against Kevin Nash and Triple H, Stone Cold Steve Austin opened up RAW congratulating the Icon. Sting said that he kicked Triple H's ass last night and tonight he wants to kick more ass. Triple H came out with Ric Flair and said that Sting got lucky and didnt only won because Sting pinned Kevin Nash and not Triple H. Triple H said that Stone Cold Steve Austin is drunk with power and Triple H is the greatest World Heavyweight Champion of all time. Ric Flair takes the microphone and says that when he was World Heavyweight Champion he beat Sting over and over again and he would love to do it again. Sting says he will take on both Ric Flair and Triple H tonight! Stone Cold Steve Austin tells Sting that he could only choose one for tonight and Sting picks Ric Flair to face in the main event. The match begins and the two former WCW World Heavyweight Champions battle back and forth. Ric Flair locks Sting in the figure-four in the middle of the ring but Sting gets to the ropes. Sting gets the advantage and throws Flair in the corner and Sting goes for his Stinger Splash but Flair pulls the referee and Sting accidently squishes the ref. Triple H came down to the ring and get the World Heavyweight Championship and threw it to Flair, Flair swung at the champion but Sting ducked and hit him with the Scorpion Death Drop but Flair kicked out at two. Sting goes for the Scorpion Death Lock but Ric Flair pushes Sting off and Sting goes towards the ropes where Triple H hits him in the face with a cheap shot. Kevin Nash then comes down and chases Triple H back to the ramp. Flair goes the Figure Four but Sting rolls up Flair for the pinfall and the 1-2-3 to retain the World Heavyweight Championship. Stone Cold Steve Austin comes out to congratulates Sting and tells Triple H (whos with a beaten Ric Flair on top of the ramp) that at Bad Blood it will be Sting taking on Triple H for the World Heavyweight Championship, inside a Hell in a Cell.
Former rivals face off once again for the World Heavyweight Championship.

FAMILIAR FACE DEBUTS AND ATTACKS THE RETURNING UNDERTAKER
After the non-title main event match between Brock Lesnar and Nunzio. Lesnar defeated Nunzio in quick fashion. After the win the rest of the Full Blooded Italians made their way down the ramp and started attacking the WWE Champion. During the beatdown from the FBI, the light went out and the returning Undertaker made the save to help Lesnar. the Undertaker comes down to the ring and clears house of the FBI. Lesnar and Undertaker extend respects before the WWE Champion leaves the ring. As the Undertaker is in the middle of the ring the light wents out and a ominous theme plays over the arena, green lights shine on the ring while the Undertaker is standing in confusion. The lights come back on and standing behind him is none other than MORTIS. Mortis attacks the Deadman and hits him over the head with a steel chair. James Vandenberg comes down to the ring and announces that Mortis is here to take the Undertaker back down to hell.
Its been 5 1/2 years since Mortis was last seen and along side his manager James Vandenberg he has made his impactful debut on SmackDown taking out the Undertaker

GOLDBERG APPEARS ON THE HIGHLIGHT REEL; SETS UP MATCH AGAINST JERICHO AT BAD BLOOD
Chris Jericho welcomes everybody to another edition of the Highlight Reel. Jericho says his guest is the former WCW World Heavyweight Champion, Goldberg. Jericho says that when Jericho was in WCW he wouldve beaten Goldberg's streak on the very first night. Jericho says now that Goldberg is in the WWE, Jericho is going to prove that nobody wants Goldberg in the WWE. Jericho challenges Goldberg to a match at Bad Blood next month. Goldberg comes down to the ring and Jericho runs away. Goldberg tells Jericho to be a man and get in the ring face to face. Jericho slides back in the ring and gets in Goldbergs face. Goldberg tells Jericho, YOU'RE NEXT. While face to face with Goldberg, Jericho hits Goldberg with a can of mace and while Goldberg is distracted, Jericho lines up and spears Goldberg before leaving the arena. Goldberg will take on Chris Jericho in a long awaited match at Bad Blood.

BASHAMS VICTORIOUS IN THEIR DEBUT ON VELOCITY
Lead by the Tough Enough III Champion, Linda Miles. The tag team known as the Basham Brothers which consists of Doug and Danny made their WWE debuts on the May 31st edition of Velocity against the team of Brian Kendrick and Funaki. The newly debuting tag team of the hit their finishing move on Funaki for the 1-2-3.
Along side Linda Miles, Danny and Doug Basham make an impressive debut on Velocity.

MICK FOLEY MADE THE OFFICIAL TO THE HELL IN A CELL MATCH AT BAD BLOOD
Ever since the Bad Blood main event has been announced the WWE referees have informed both Eric Bischoff and Stone Cold Steve Austin that they will be refusing to referee the Hell in a Cell match between Sting and Triple H. Austin and Bischoff tell the referees that they have found a replacement for the match and it's a "crazy son of a b*tch". Austin and Bischoff both agree that the perfect man to do the job is none other than the Hardcore Legend Mick Foley! Foley comes down to the ring and talks about how Hell in a Cell changed his life and he will make sure that Sting and Triple H never walk out of that match the same again. HAVE A NICE DAY!!
Mick Foley is made the official to the Hell in a Cell match at Bad Blood.

REY MYSTERIO BECOMES WWE LIGHT HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION
After defeating the MFers of Crash Holly and Shannon Moore, Rey Mysterio became the No. 1 contender for Matt Hardy's WWE Light Heavyweight Championship. In the main event of SmackDown Hardy fought Mysterio in a championship match. Mysterio comes out first and greets his family who are sitting in the front row. Hardy comes out with Crash and Moore but the referee ejects the two from ringside. After a back and forth action, Mysterio connects with the 619 but Hardy rolls to the outside. Mysterio hits the West Coast Pop over the top rope to Hardy on the outside. Hardy gets up and grabs the championship belt but the referee stops Hardy from bringing it in the ring. Holly and Moore run back down to the ring and start attacking the challenger. Hardy hits a top rope leg drop but only for a two count. Mysterio then gets the victory after taking out MFs and hitting Hardy with another 619 and this time for 1-2-3 and to become the WWE Light Heavyweight Champion. Mysterio then celebrates with his family in the ring.
Rey Mysterio hits Matt Hardy with the 619 to become the WWE Light Heavyweight Champion.
