INTERIM GENERAL MANAGER ANNOUNCES WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH AT ROYAL RUMBLE
RAW General Manager Eric Bischoff is off on a vacation for the week in Wyoming and appointed Jonathan Coachman to take care of the duties for the night. Coachman comes down to the ring to make an announcement for the World Heavyweight Championship match at the Royal Rumble. Coachman says that Triple H will defend his World Heavyweight Championship against Shawn Michaels. Triple H's music hits and the World Champion comes down to the ring and gets on the microphone. Triple H says that at the Royal Rumble he's finally going to get rid of HBK and send him into a permanent retirement. Shawn Michaels then comes out to confront the champion, Michaels gets on the microphone and tells Triple H that he's beaten him before and he's going to do it again but this time he wants to make sure that he will be the last man standing before walking out of the Royal Rumble. Michaels challenges Triple H to make the World Championship bout a Last Man Standing match. Coachman says that's a great idea and at the Royal Rumble, Triple H vs Shawn Michaels for the World Heavyweight Championship in a Last Man Standing match is set. Michaels and Triple H gets in each others face before Michaels superkicks Coachman in the face before leaving the ring.

GOLDBERG WINS BATTLE ROYAL TO BECOME #30 FOR THE ROYAL RUMBLE
Throughout the RAW before the 2004 Royal Rumble, wrestlers fought each other to enter the main event Battle Royal with the winner becoming the #30 entrant into the match. Christian defeated Matt Hardy, Rob Van Dam defeated Scott Steiner, Chris Jericho defeated Rene Dupree, Mark Henry defeated Rico Constantino, Randy Orton defeated Spike Dudley and Goldberg defeated Kane by disqualification. The main event Battle Royal saw Goldberg dominating earl by eliminating Christian and Chris Jericho. Orton then eliminated Rob Van Dam before Mark Henry and Randy Orton teamed up to take on Goldberg. Goldberg got the upperhand by eliminating Orton and then hitting a huge Jackhammer to Mark Henry before tossing out the Worlds Strongest Man to become the #30 entrant in the Royal Rumble match.  Goldberg hits a Jackhammer before eliminating Mark Henry to become #30 in the Royal Rumble. |

WINNER OF ROYAL RUMBLE JOINS RAW; CHALLENGES FOR THE WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP AT WRESTLEMANIA XX
the RAW after the Royal Rumble opened with the World Heavyweight Champion Triple H coming down to the ring. Triple H was celebrating his win against Shawn Michaels in the Last Man Standing match. Shawn Michaels then comes down to the ring and says that the feud between them two has just started and Michaels will be World Heavyweight Champion again. Eric Bischoff comes down to the ring and says that he has a shocking announcement to make that both Triple H and Shawn Michaels needs to hear. Bischoff says that he just got the deal done and that the winner of the Royal Rumble Chris Benoit is now a member of the RAW roster. Benoit comes down to the ring and faces off with both Michaels and Triple H. Benoit says that he's been the WWE Champion and he will be one day but he's focused on being the World Heavyweight Champion and it doesnt matter who is the champion going into WrestleMania because Benoit will walk out as World Champion.

SMACKDOWN BATTLE ROYAL TO CROWN NO. 1 CONTENDER FOR WWE CHAMPIONSHIP
the SmackDown! GM Sable is in the middle of the ring in the opening of SmackDown!. She talks about how Chris Benoit left to go to RAW leaving SmackDown! without a No. 1 contender for the WWE Championship. Sable says she has added the tag team of Americas Most Wanted Chris Harris and James Storm in exchange for Benoit. Sable says that tonight SmackDown will have a huge Battle Royal with the winner being the No. 1 contender for Brock Lesnar's WWE Championship. Sable says all the 15 men that SmackDown hosted in the Royal Rumble will take part in the match, with the addition of Hardcore Holly taking on the vacant spot left by Benoit. Ernest Miller, Tajiri and Nunzio are eliminated first by the Big Show. Bradshaw got eliminated by Kurt Angle after being distracted by Faarooq. Nunzio, Rhyno, A-Train all got eliminated by Eddie Guerrero. John Cena shockingly got eliminated by the Big Show who was then eliminated by 7 other members of the match. The Worlds Greatest Tag Team of Charlie Haas and Shelton Benjamin were both eliminated by Angle and Guerrero. Billy Gunn was next and the final four were Eddie Guerrero, Hardcore Holly Kurt Angle, and Rikishi. Holly and Rikishi were eliminated and it came down to Eddie Guerrero and Kurt Angle. The two battled before Guerrero was able to suplex Angle over the top rope to be the new number one contender and face Brock Lesnar for the WWE Championship at No Way Out.

SABLE ANNOUNCES NO. 1 CONTENDER MATCH AT NO WAY OUT; BROCK LESNAR INSULTS EDDIE GUERRERO WITH A MARIACHI BAND the SmackDown! General Manager starts SmackDown by making a huge announcement about the WWE Championship at WrestleMania XX. Sable says she is going to name the No. 1 contender for the WWE Championship tonight. Before Sable can make the announcement the Big Show comes down to the ring and says that since hes the United States Champion he should be the No.1 contender. Kurt Angle then comes down to the ring and says he was the last man eliminated in the Battle Royal and that he should be the no. 1 contender. John Cena then comes down to the ring and raps on everybody in the ring and Cena raps that he should be the no. 1 contender. Sable says that all three men will face each other in a triple threat match at No Way Out and the winner will face the WWE Champion at WrestleMania XX.
Big Show vs John Cena vs Kurt Angle. Winner faces the WWE Champion at WrestleMania XX the WWE Champion Brock Lesnar comes dancing down to the ring along side a Mariachi Band. Lesnar talks about his upcoming match against Eddie Guerrero at No Way Out. Lesnar says that Eddie Guerrero has fought alot of demons in his past but at No Way Out Lesnar is going to go back to his addict ways. Guerrero runs out and chases both the Mariachi Band and Lesnar away from the ring. Guerrero talks about how he has his life back and nothing will come in his way to become the WWE Champion and celebrate with his family. Guerrero tells Lesnar that he's addicted to beating Lesnar and becoming the WWE Champion for the very first time.
Brock Lesnar tries to humilate Eddie Guerrero with a Mariaichi Band. The champion will defend the WWE Championship against Guerrero at No Way Out. |

TRIPLE THREAT MATCH ANNOUNCED FOR MAIN EVENT OF WRESTLEMANIA XX
the RAW General Manager Eric Bischoff has a huge announcement to make consisting of the World Heavyweight Championship match at WrestleMania XX. Bischoff calls the Word Heavyweight Champion Triple H to the ring. Triple H comes down to the ring and wants to know who he is facing in the main event of WrestleMania XX. Bischoff says Triple H can choose if its Benoit or Michaels. Triple H says neither man deserves to face him and these fans in Bakersfield dont deserve to see the World Heavyweight Champion. Chris Benoit comes down to the ring and confronts both Bischoff and Triple H. Triple H pushes Benoit before Benoit puts Triple H in the Crippler Crossface before the rest of Evolution come down. Later in the night Bischoff announces a World Tag Team Championship between Evolution and Benoit and Michaels. The main event tag team championship match occurs and Batista and Ric Flair retain their championship after Triple H distracts Benoit an Batista pins Shawn Michaels. Evolution battle against Benoit and Michaels before Benoit and Michaels gets the upperhand. Eric Bischoff then makes the huge announcement that the main event of WrestleMania XX will be Triple H vs Chris Benoit vs Shawn Michaels for the World Heavyweight Championship. Evolution is fuming but Bischoff says it's not his call and thats the Board of Directors and Vince McMahon. Benoit and Michaels are both in the ring before Michaels superkicks Benoit in the face and RAW goes off the air.

TWO HUGE MATCHES ANNOUNCED FOR WRESTLEMANIA XX
Ever since Booker T helped Vince McMahon defeat the Undertaker at Survivor Series 2003 questions have been unanswered on why Booker T did what he did. Booker T came down to the ring to finally speak on his actions. Booker T said that when he was on RAW he would get letters saying "I Still Know" from a mysterious carrier. Booker T reveals that when he was in prison in the early 90s he was bonded out by the one and only Vince McMahon. Vince told Booker that he saw protentional in him and wanted to sign him to the WWF but Booker chose WCW instead. When the Invasion happened Booker T made his WWF debut and ever since then Vince McMahon has told him that he needed to pay him back when Vince needed him. Vince told Booker on the night of Survivor Series that he needed him to help him defeat the Undertaker and help bury the Undertaker alive. Booker T said ever since the Royal Rumble he's been having nightmares about the Undertaker and wants them to stop. All of a sudden Paul Bearer comes to the ramp and tells Booker T that the Undertaker will never die and that the Undertaker has challenged Booker T to a match at WrestleMania XX. All of a sudden the ring fills with smoke and Paul Bearer disappears back into the mist, while Booker T is walking back up the ramp an image of the Undertaker appears on screen spooking Booker T.
At No Way Out 2004, Kurt Angle became the no. 1 contender for the WWE Championship by winning a Triple Threat against the Big Show and John Cena. Kurt Angle came down to the ring and explained that the reason why he attacked Guerrero last week during the main event was that Guerrero is not the face of the WWE, he is a former drug addict, and that lying, cheating and stealing is not what the children should be looking up to. Angle says that its only a matter before Eddie lets down not only the fans but the WWE Championship. Angle says that at WrestleMania XX he's going to save this company when he takes the WWE Championship from Guerrero. Guerrero comes down to the ring and starts attacking Angle before Angle retreated and ran away. SmackDown General Manager Sable came down to the ring with a team of police officers and arrested Guerrero. Sable then makes it official that the WWE Championship match at WrestleMania XX will be Eddie Guerrero vs Kurt Angle.  Eddie Guerrero will defend his WWE Championship against Kurt Angle at WrestleMania XX. |

03/01/2004: RAW: Hurricane Helms and Rosey defeated Garrison Cade and Mark Jindrak in a No. 1 contenders for the World Tag Team Championship
RAW - Gwinnett Arena - Atlanta, Georgia - March 01, 2004
MORE MATCHES ANNOUNCED FOR WRESTLEMANIA XX
RAW opens up with Atlanta's own Goldberg coming down to the ring. Goldberg talks about how he is being inducted into the Atlanta Falcon's Ring of Honor. Goldberg talks about how he's been as dominate in the WWE as he was in WCW. Goldberg talks about how at WrestleMania he wants the biggest match possible. All of a sudden the ringposts explode with fire and Kane comes down to the ring. Kane tells Goldberg that if he was in WCW his undefeated streak wouldn't have lasted as long as he did. Goldberg tells Kane that at WrestleMania XX, HE'S NEXT. Goldberg then speared Kane before leaving the ring celebrating with the fans. Kane then slowly rose up and started laughing at Goldberg. Goldberg vs Kane is made official for WrestleMania XX.

Later in the night Stone Cold Steve Austin comes down to the ring to to make a huge announcement. Stone Cold Steve Austin talks about how WrestleMania XX will be the biggest show that WWE has ever held. Stone Cold talks about that the very first class of the WWE Hall of Fame will be inducted the night before WrestleMania. Austin announces the very first class will be Andre the Giant, Roderick McMahon (Vince's father) and Pat Patterson. Stone Cold talks about one day he will be in the Hall of Fame and that WrestleMania is very close to him. All of a sudden SmackDown General Manager Sable comes out and tells Austin that he's beaten everybody in the biggest matches but theres one person he has never beaten. Before Austin can get a word in SmackDown's Brock Lesnar comes out from the crowd and hits Austin with a huge F-5. Lesnar challenges Austin to a match at WrestleMania XX. Later in the night Sable and Lesnar are seen leaving RAW alongside RAW General Manager Eric Bischoff. All of sudden Austin is in his monster truck and starts chasing Lesnar's limo. Austin stops in front of Bischoff and tells Bischoff that he's going to stomp a mud hole in Lesnar's ass at WrestleMania and continues the chase.
