RIC FLAIR FARWELL CELEBRATION
the Nature Boy Ric Flair came out after his last match at WrestleMania 24 to say goodbye to the fans. Flair promised that last night was the last time you will ever see Flair in the ring (haha) and tonight will be a celebration of his career. Ric Flair says theres nobody else he would love to have faced in his last match than the Heartbreak Kid Shawn Michaels. Flair said that the last 72 hours were the most emotional of his life. Ric Flair thanked the fans with one final WOO! before leaving when all of a sudden Triple H came out and told Flair the party has only just begun. Triple h talks about everything that Flair has done for not only himself but for everybody in that locker room. Triple H says that theres a few people that want to come out and celebrate with the Nature Boy and Triple H brings out the Four Horsemen (Arn Anderson, Tully Blanchard, Barry Windham and JJ Dillon) all come out and hug Flair. Batista came out next followed by Ricky the Dragon Steamboat and Harley Race. John Cena's music hits and out comes Cena followed by Greg the Hammer Valentine, Dean Malenko and Chris Jericho. Next came his family with his wife and four children. Finally out came the Heartbreak Kid Shawn Michaels who came out and hugged Flair as they embraced for one last time. Vince McMahon then came out and told Flair that the entire WWE roster to come out and pay tribute to the Nature Boy. All the wrestlers started a "Thank You, Ric" chant along with the crowd while Flair stood in the middle of the WWE ring for the last time.

BATISTA CONFRONTS SHAWN MICHAELS; PLUS DOMINATE NEW SUPESTAR DEBUTS
SmackDown! opens with the former World Heavyweight Champion Batista coming down to the ring. Batista grabs a microphone and says for the last week something has been bothering him and he needs to get it off his chest. Batista says that he knows Shawn Michaels is here tonight and he wants Michaels to come down to the ring. Michaels comes out and gets in the ring. Michaels says he knows whats wrong with Batista and he tried to express his feelings on Monday but Batista wasnt willing to listen. Batista said that last Sunday Shawn Michaels retired Ric Flair and Batista said that was hard on him to watch and Batista took it personally. Michaels said he was just doing what Flair would have wanted and Batista wouldve done the same thing if he was in Michaels position. Batista said that Michaels is all ego and he only cares about himself and he never cared about Ric Flair. Batista heard all about how Michaels was back in the mid 90s and Michaes says hes a different man but Michaels is the same old ego maniac. Batista said Michaels shouldve just let Ric Flair win and not embarrass Flair after everything that Flair has done for this business. Batista said that he's going to do what Flair shouldve done and thats beat Michaels down and Batista is going to end Michaels career the next time they step into a wrestling ring.
 Batista took Michaels ending Ric Flair's career personal and he's looking to end the career of the Heartbreak Kid. Later in the night a new superstar made his SmackDown! debut as Vladimir Kozlov defeated his opponent Matt Bentley in quick fashion.  Vladimir Kozlov has made an impactful debut on SmackDown! |

FATAL FOUR WAY AT BACKLASH FOR THE WWE CHAMPIONSHIP PLUS KING OF THE RING TOURNAMENT
RAW opens with General Manager William Regal making two big announcements. Regal announces that this Sunday in Greenville, South Carolina, there will be the 2008 King of the Ring tournament with the whole tournament being played out in one night. William Regal announced that for the first time ever all the entrants and first round matches will be completely random and members of all three brands will compete with the winner being crowned the King of the Ring. William Regal also announced that at Backlash, Randy Orton will defend his WWE Championship against John Bradshaw Layfield. Regal introduced JBL to the ring but Triple H came out instead. Triple H said after his victory against Bobby Lashley that Triple H should be the No. 1 Contender for Orton's WWE Championship. Triple H mocked JBL for being an announcer for the last two years. Regal told Triple H that if he wins a handicap match against Lance Cade and Trevor Murdoch that he Triple H will be added to the Backlash match. Later in the night Triple H made easy work of Cade and Murdoch and Regal made it official that it will now be a triple threat match between Orton, JBL and Triple H for the WWE Championship. John Cena then came out and proposed that it be a Fatal Four Way and Regal gave the same challenge to John Cena that if he won a handicap match than Cena will be added into the match. In the main event John Cena defeated the team of Carlito and Santino Marella and Regal announced that at Backlash it will be Randy Orton taking on John Cena, John Bradshaw Layfield and Triple H in a Fatal Four Way for the WWE Championship at Backlash. All of a sudden Randy Orton hit Regal with a RKO while his three opponents stood there in shock.

ORTON VS REGAL FOR THE WWE CHAMPIONSHIP IN THE UK
RAW opened with the WWE Champion Randy Orton to a roar of boo's from the UK crowd. Orton talks about his upcoming match at Backlash and how he's going to make sure he punts every single one of his competitors in the head and walk out still as the WWE Champion. All of a sudden RAW General Manager William Regal comes to a huge ovation and confronts Orton. Regal talks about how tonight he's not here to be the General Manager of RAW but he's here to get revenge on Randy Orton for RKO'ing him a few weeks ago. Regal says that since he won the King of the Ring, Regal gets a shot at the WWE Championship. Regal says theres no better place than right here in Regal's backyard of United Kingdom. Orton accepted and the main event for the WWE Championship was official. The main event starts with Regal hitting Orton with suplexs to the delight of the UK crowd. Orton reversed Regal with a backbreaker for a close fall. The UK fans are chanting "LETS GO REGAL". Regal fights back and hits more suplexes sending Orton to the floor. Orton rolls back in the ring and Regal rushes in with a running knee for another near fall. Orton kicks out at two and Regal gets Orton in the Regal Stretch but Orton grabs the rope to break the hold. Regal doesnt let the hold go as both Orton and Regal get back to their feet and Orton hits Regal with a low blow as the referee is distracted in breaking the hold apart. Orton took this opportunity to hit Regal with the RKO for the pinfall and to retain the WWE Championship
 RAW General Manager and King of the Ring William Regal challenged Randy Orton to a match for the WWE Championship in the UK. Orton defeated Regal with a low blow and a RKO to retain but Regal walked out of the UK with support from the crowd. |

After losing the ECW Championship in 10 seconds to Kane at WrestleMania XXIV, Chavo Guerrero attempted to win back the championship against Kane.
Even with the distraction from new La Familia member Bam Hardcastle, Kane hit Chavo again with the chokeslam to win and retain the ECW Championship.
After applying the Hells Gate submission hold on Edge, the Undertaker refused to let the hold go after the referee rang the bell.
Edge was then taken out on a stretcher with the Undertaker retaining the World Heavyweight Championship.

Triple H pinned John Bradshaw Layfield to win the WWE Championship for the 4th time. |

REGAL GOES UNHINDGE; ORTON ENVOKES HIS REMATCH CLAUSE FOR JUDGMENT DAY
RAW opens up with the RAW General Manager William Regal sitting in the middle of the ring in King of the Ring throne. Regal says that alot of people have been wondering if he's going to step down as General Manager and Regal said no he earned that promotion and he's the most powerful entity in the WWE. Regal says that all the superstars have no choice to respect and fear Regal. Regal kept it going until he was interrupted by the new WWE Champion, Triple H. Triple H came out and entered the ring to confront Regal. Triple H talked about coming back from injury and how he did everything he could to become the WWE Champion once again. Randy Orton came out and talked about how the odds were stacked against him last night and he should have never lost the WWE Championship because he wasnt involved in the pinfall. Randy Orton said that he was one of the most dominate WWE Champion and Triple H knows he cant defeat Orton 1-on-1. Orton says that he is going to envoke his rematch clause at Judgment Day. William Regal said that both of them to get out of HIS ring because tonight in the main event Triple H will take on Randy Orton for the WWE Championship. Later in the night Regal was in his office before Ken Kennedy came barging in. Kennedy said that he wants to congratulate Regal for all the great things he has done but Kennedy should have been in the King of the Ring tournament. Regal said that nobody talks to Regal without an appointment and demanded Kennedy to apologize. Kennedy took time to apologize before Regal punched Kennedy in the face. The main event WWE Championship begun between Triple H and Randy Orton but during the middle William Regal was own to enter the production truck and tell the fans in the crowd that they dont deserve to see the conclusion of this match. Regal then ordered Kevin Dunn to take the show off the air but Dunn refused before Regal grabbed Dunn and forced Dunn to end the show without a conclusion to the championship match.

HARDCORE LEGEND ON STRIKERS CLASSROOM
Matt Striker hosted a special edition of "Strikers Classroom" with his student "guest" being the Hardcore Legend Mick Foley. Foley came out and announced that starting tonight Foley will be the newest member of the ECW broadcasting team. Striker made fun of Foley and told him he's perfect for the job since Foley has a face more suited for broadcasting anyway. Striker started saying that ECW now is lightyears better than the past grudge era of the 90s and its all because of people like Elijah Burke, Mike Knox and others. Foley talked about how if it wasnt for the people like Tommy Dreamer and Tazz and himself than there wouldnt be a ECW and that they sacrificed everything to continue the legacy of ECW to continue. Foley said that Striker is the farthest thing from extreme and Striker doesnt represent any of the past ECW wrestlers, not "extremists." Striker talks about how much class (no pun intended) that Striker has and makes fun of Mick Foley and his sweat pants. Foley got furious and pulled out Mr. Socko before shoving Mr. Socko down Striker's throat. Foley then got on the microphone and told every "Have a nice day! Class dismissed!!"

WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP ANNOUNCED FOR JUDGMENT DAY
SmackDown! opened with Co-General Manager Theodore Long saying that tonight all the SmackDown! championship will be on the line with the World Heavyweight, United States and WWE Tag Team Championship being defended. the United States Championship was defended first with Matt Hardy taking on former champion Montel Vontavious Porter. MVP was nearly going to win back his championship but made a mistake and Matt Hardy hit MVP with the Twist of Fate to retain the WWE United States Championship. Festus and Jesse Dalton defended the WWE Tag Team Championships against the Major Brothers of Curt Hawkins and Zack Ryder which ended in a no contest after John Morrison and the Miz attacked Festus causing a disqualification. The main event was the Undertaker defending his World Heavyweight Championship against the Great Khali. the Undertaker won after submitting the Great Khali with the Hells Gate submission hold. Edge then ran down with the Major Brothers and attacked the Undertaker before Co-General Manager announced that Edge will face the Undertaker for the World Heavyweight Championship at Judgment Day. After the beatdown Edge took the World Heavyweight Championship belt and delivered it to Vickie Guerrero (but is still the Undertakers)
