CATCH THE LIGHTNING VOLUME 1 IN NIPPON BUDOKAN Match 1: "Fusion Fight" Chris Ridgeway Def. Minoru Tanaka in 12:23 via Ankle Lock Catch The Lightning's inagural episode began with a hard hitting match between the legendary Minoru Tanaka and the up and coming british star Chris Ridgeway, the match was full of hard hitting strikes and brutal submission work, at one point Ridgeway was knocked loopy by a stiff roundhouse kick from Tanaka but Ridgeway fought back with a huge kick of his own, a flurry of kicks and slaps were thrown until the finish of the match which saw Ridgeway drill Tanaka on his head with a Brainbuster before locking on a vicious Ankle Lock, stomping on Tanaka's hand to keep him pinned to the mat, forcing the veteran to submit!
Post-match, Tanaka wanted to shake Ridgeway's hand but Ridgeway kicked his hand away, saying he wasn't in CTL to make friends as he walked past Tanaka, shoulder checking him on the way out as a frustrated Tanaka sulked over his defeat
Match 2: "UWF X Moon Vulcan Collision" Hideki Suzuki & Takuya Nomura Def. Seichi Ikemoto & Kotaro Nasu in 14:00 via Double Arm Suplex Hold from Suzuki to Nasu The second match of the night was a brutal tag team match pitting the teacher-student duo of Hideki Suzuki and Takuya Nomura against the hard hitting indy duo of Seichi Ikemoto and Kotaro Nasu. The match was a brutal fight that saw Ikemoto and Nasu go right after the young Nomura, trying their best to isolate him from Suzuki, but the tide soon turned when Nomura was able to tag Hideki in as Hideki stormed the ring, fighting both Ikemoto and Nasu with that signature viciousness he's known for, the match would continue as Nomura and Ikemoto would fight all over the ring, peppering each other with hard strikes until Nomura took Ikemoto down with a stiff headbutt, Hideki would end the match from there, nearly choking out Nasu before drilling him with his signature Double Arm Suplex for the win!
Post-match, Suzuki shook hands with Nomura but told him that from here on out, they would be opponents as Hideki said it was his goal to make it to the top of CTL and that he would be bringing a friend of his into the fold very soon, Nomura said he understood and that he would do his best to reach the top of CTL alongside his partner in the main event Fuminori Abe, they shared a tense staredown before Nomura left the ring
Match Three: "Llave-Catch United" Zack Sabre Jr & Hechicero Def. Angelico & Negro Navarro in 18:38 via Orienteering With Napalm Death from ZSJ to Angelico The third match of the night was a brilliant display of technical wrestling as the British master Zack Sabre Jr teamed with the enigmatic luchadore Hechicero to face the suave Angelico and his teacher the legendary Negro Navarro. ZSJ and Angelico immediately jumpstarted the match with smooth mat wrestling until Angelico was frustrated enough to punt ZSJ right in the face, bloodying Zack's mouth and allowing him the upper hand as he tagged in Navarro, who tortured ZSJ with vicious uppercuts and brutal submissions, nearly submitting ZSJ with a brutal Manjigatame had it not been for Hechicero's intervention, who tagged himself in and went to war with Navarro, the two lucha maestros going hold for hold as the crowd watched in awe. The rest of the match played out as Zack and Angelico went at each other with vicious kicks and strikes while Hechicero and Navarro continued to grapple with each other, until a small mistake on Angelico's part allowed ZSJ to capitalize and lock him in Orienteering With Napalm Death, forcing Angelico to tap out!
Post-match Zack Sabre Jr would announce to the audience that he would be signing to Catch The Lightning Full time and that he was thrilled to be in a company that promotes real Strong Style, this was followed by both Hechicero and Negro Navarro both announcing that they would be signing deals with the company, Angelico meanwhile said that he was still contracted to All Elite Wrestling but he would still be making appearances for CTL and would be willing to sign with them once his contract with AEW expires, it seems that the CTL roster is growing bigger and bigger!
Match 4: "The Filthy & The Terrible" Shotaro Ashino Def. Tom Lawlor in 19:55 via T-Bone Suplex The first singles match of the night was a near show stealer as AJPW star Shotaro Ashino faced off against the former UFC champion Filthy Tom Lawlor! The match began with a hot start as the moment the bell rang, Lawlor flew across the ring and booted Ashino right in the face, sending him flying out of the ring! The action never slowed down from there as the match quickly became a slugfest as the two brawled all over the arena, Ashino busting up Lawlor's nose with a nasty uppercut while Lawlor gave Ashino a nasty black eye with a brutal punt kick that caught Ashino right in the eye socket, the crowd became louder and louder as Ashino and Lawlor tore into each other, each nearly getting a nearfall with Ashino nearly pinning Lawlor with a huge German Suplex while Lawlor nearly stole the win with a disgusting Sleeper Suplex! The finish to the match came as Lawlor locked a tight sleeper on Ashino, prepping him for the NKOTB, but Ashino reacted too fast and ducked, Lawlor's knee smashing into the turnbuckles, this hobbled Lawlor long enough for Ashino to scoop Lawlor up and drill him into the mat with a T-Bone Suplex to take the win!
Post-match, Ashino announced that Catch The Lightning was the company he needed to reignite the spark in his wrestling career, so he would be signing with CTL full time once his contract with AJPW expired, Ashino thanked Lawlor for the match and offered a rematch at anytime! Lawlor meanwhile said he planned on making CTL his home promotion as well, and he would be bringing a few friends around next time he steps in the ring of Catch The Lightning!
Match 5: "Fight Without Honor Or Humanity" Takashi Sugiura & Kazushi Sakuraba & Kazuyuki Fujita Def. Katsuhiko Nakajima, Masakatsu Funaki and Masaaki Mochizuki in 20:19 via Beast Bomb from Fujita to Mochizuki The Semi-Final match of the night was a truly violent affair as the kicking trio of Nakajima, Funaki and Mochizuki faced the Sugiura-Gun trio of Sugiura, Sakuraba and Fujita! The match had a tense start as Sugiura and Nakajima started the match for each trio, locking up before Nakajima shoved Sugiura off and slapped the taste out of the veterans mouth, this set Sugiura off as he booted Nakajima in the gut and tossed him out of the ring, which led to Fujita pouncing on Nakajima, beating him savagely until both Sugiura and Sakuraba had to pry Fujita off of him. Fujita's attitude would become a big part of the match as he would forcefully tag himself in to do more damage to everyone on the opposing team, all hope wasn't lost as Nakajima Funaki and Mochizuki were able to control a few good chunks of the match, Funaki in particular wowed the crowd with his grappling with Sakuraba while Mochizuki and Sugiura tore into each other, the finish of the match came as Fujita punted Mochi right in the skull before putting him down with his signature Beast Bomb!
Post-Match Fujita tried to continue his onslaught against his opponents until Sugiura and Sakuraba had to force him out of the ring, both of them asking what the hell was wrong with Fujita until Fujita snapped on them, saying they were both weak and now that they are signed to Catch The Lightning, he is no longer going to keep the two afloat and left, saying he had a new partner in mind. Sugiura and Sakuraba were upset but did confirm Fujita's word that they did indeed sign with CTL, meanwhile Funaki Mochizuki and Nakajima all confirmed their signings as well, with Nakajima saying that him and Mochizuki intend on staying as a tag team, while Funaki says he will be bringing a friend of his to CTL as well
Main Event: "CTL World Openweight Championship Survival Of The Fittest Iron Man Match" Keita Yano Def. Fuminori Abe (4-3) in 60:00 to become the inagural Catch The Lighting World Openweight Champion Falls: Fall 1: Abe Def. Yano via Sawa-Style Manjigatame Fall 2: Abe Def Yano via Onryo Clutch Fall 3: Yano Def. Abe via The Romanian Clutch Fall 4: Yano Def. Abe via The Yurikamome Fall 5: Abe Def. Yano via Ill Be Back! Fall 6: Yano Def. Abe via The European Martinente
The main event of Catch The Lightning Volume 1 was a truly amazing performance from both men as the top rated indy star Fuminori Abe faced off against the hidden gem of the indies Keita Yano! The match was a true technical marvel as Abe and Yano left it all in the ring, the first part of the match was largely technical mat wrestling until Abe was able to catch Yano in a surprise Manjigatame, Yano quickly tapped to avoid any further damage, before Abe was once again able to get the drop on him by rolling him up with the Onryo Clutch! Yano however would make Abe pay for those two sneaky falls by brutalizing him with stiff shots, at one point hooking him by the mouth and headbutting him square in the jaw, softening Abe up for Yano to hook The Romanian Clutch in deep, forcing Abe to submit. The rest of the match would resort to the two men throwing bombs at each other, hard strike after hard strike as the crowd became louder and louder for the two men, Abe went for his signature Fast Ball Punch but Yano caught him with one of his own before quickly locking in his signature Yurikamome submission and once again forcing Abe to submit! Yano would become quite confident as he continued to batter and beat down Abe with horrific strikes, at one point uppercutting Abe so hard that the referee had to make sure Abe wasn't completely knocked out, but Yano's showboating would catch him as Abe would use this distraction to bounce off the ropes and catch Yano with his I'll Be Back! Cradle hold to get another surprise pinfall on Yano. With 5 minutes left on the clock Abe and Yano dropped any form of technical wrestling and just started to fight for survival, brawling all over the ring and splitting each other open with disgusting headbutts, Abe hit his signature FastBall Punch and then another brutal headbutt before trying to lock in his Octopus Stretch, but Yano, with quick thinking and 10 seconds left on the clock, was able to counter Abe and drill him on his head with The European Martinente Piledriver to pin Abe one last time right as the clock hit zero, Keita Yano survived a brutal war and became the first ever CTL World Openweight Champion!
Post-Match, Yano stood in the center of the ring, covered in sweat and blood as Abe was helped away by the referee and his tag partner Takuya Nomura as Yano stood there, blood pouring down his face as he posed with his new championship, Yano took the mic and announced that he would mold Catch The Lightning into his vision and it would fall under the will of The Wallabee, he said he would take on all comers to prove his dominance over the wrestling world...and his challenge was answered as a figure appeared in the audience, revealed to be none other than the Japanese indy wrestling journeyman GENTARO! GENTARO walked into the ring and simply pointed at the championship, signifying that he was here in CTL to stay and he was ready to face Yano! Keita simply smiled and raised the title over his head as the scene faded to black and the full card for CATCH THE LIGHTNING VOLUME 2 IN KORAKUEN HALL!

Thank you for the interest! I wanna make CTL feel very different so style and aesthetic wise im going for a mixture of shooters and lucha grapplers, i hope you all enjoy it!
I also noticed that i kinda messed up the main event for Volume 1, i was exhausted when i was writing the show and noticed i missed the 5 fall for Keita to win the belt so apologies if it looks like a draw happened, the real result is Keita's win

CATCH THE LIGHTNING VOLUME 2 IN KORAKUEN HALL
Match One: "Genesis Fight" - 15 Minute Time Limit Mizuki Watase & Kouki Iwasaki Def. Seiki Yoshioka & Keisuke Ishii in 10:00 via Backdrop Driver from Iwasaki to Yoshioka
Catch The Lightning Volume 2 began with a quartet of debuts as the speedy duo of Seiki Yoshioka and Keisuke Ishii faced the imposing and rugged team of Kouki Iwasaki and Mizuki Watase! The match began in quick fashion as the old Ganbare Pro rivals Ishii and Watase immediately tore into each other with stiff forearms and kicks before Watase took the advantage after a stiff Dropkick nearly decapitated Ishii! The advantage would swing back and forth between both teams with the speedy Yoshioka and bruising Iwasaki getting into a brutal kick fight, with the larger of the two nearly breaking Yoshioka in two with a big backbreaker that got a very close 2 count. Yoshioka meanwhile was able to nearly steal the win from Iwasaki after nailing his signature Tornado Kick but Watase was there to break up the pin, the beginning of the end came as Watase and Ishii once again began to brawl all over the ring, Ishii attempted to go for his Double Arm Driver but Watase floored Ishii with a vicious headbutt, this allowed Iwasaki to capitalize and blast Yoshioka with a huge High Kick and fold the smaller man in half with a huge Backdrop Driver for the victory!
Post-Match, Watase and Iwasaki celebrated their victory, saying that they were happy to be teaming together and they would continue to team in CTL as they had signed exclusive deals with the company! Yoshioka and Ishii were dissapointed that they lost, but also confirmed they had signed exclusive contracts with CTL and that they would continue to team and hope to grow stronger together
Match Two: "Vulcan Fight" - 15 Minute Time Limit Fujita Jr Hayato & Ryota Nakatsu Def. Minoru Tanaka & Koji Kanemoto in 11:33 via K.I.D from Hayato to Kanemoto
The second match of the night was a thrilling fight as the veteran duo of Minoru Tanaka and his longtime debuting partner Koji Kanemoto faced the punkish and aggressive duo of Fujita Jr Hayato and Ryota Nakatsu! The match began with a jump start as Hayato and Nakano bullrushed Tanaka and Kanemto as the veterans had their backs turned and began a brutal assault, with Hayato nearly ending the match right then and there with a brutal soccer kick to the head of Tanaka! The two younger stars would attack the veterans like a pair of wild dogs, constantly breaking up tags and using any chance they got to double team Tanaka and Kanemoto, but a few misteps would cost them as they would fight back, Tanaka blasting Hayato and Nakatsu with huge kicks and nearly scoring the win on Nakatsu with a Cross Armbreaker, but Nakatsu used his power to lift Tanaka up and Powerbomb him for a close 2 count. Kanemoto would frequently tag in, peppering the younger stars with stiff strikes and kicks, at one point nailing Hayato with a big Falcon Arrow and locking in his signature Ankle Lock, but just as it looked as if Hayato was going to submit, a massive kick from Nakatsu felled Kanemoto, Nakatsu proceeded to nail a big Lariat to take down Tanaka, while Hayato locked in his K.I.D Guillotine Choke on Kanemoto, choking out the veteran and scoring a big win!
Post-Match Hayato and Nakatsu bragged about beating a team of legends, and said that they are in CTL to stay and that they plan on destroying everyone and anyone that gets in their way, Hayato in particular said he's going to be watching the world titlte scene very carefully, but he and Nakatsu have some plans first together, meanwhile Tanaka continued to sulk over yet another loss while Kanemoto was angry about beating choked out, calling Hayato a punk and swearing that he'd get him back for the loss, while also telling Tanaka that he'd be staying in CTL to be by his side
Match 3: "Titanomachy" - 15 minute time limit Kazuyuki Fujita & Hideki Sekine Def. Kohei Sato & Tyson Maeguchi in 10:68 via Beast Bomb from Fujita to Maeguchi
The third match of the night was a absolutely brutal encounter as Kazuyuki Fujita's monstrous new friend was revealed to be Hideki "Shrek" Sekine! The former IWGP Heavyweight Champion teamed with the monstrous Judoka as they faced off agains the equally ferocious duo of the towering Kohei Sato and the hot-blooded Tyson Maeguchi! Fujita and Sato started as the two beasts charged right into each other, slamming into each other before going back and forth with vicious elbows and headbutts as the two monsters set the crowd on fire with the pure brutality of the exchange, a pair of slaps sent them both to their repsective corners as they both tagged out, with Maeguchi and Sekine's MMA experience taking over the match as they worked each other over with stiff strikes and grounded submissions, Maeguchi held the advantage in terms of strikes but it wasn't long before Sekine caught Maeguchi's forearm and deadlifted the smaller man into the ground before spiking him into the floor with a huge Judo throw! The rest of the match was a giant brawl as the four monsters continued to brawl all over the arena, Fujita and Sato trading suplexes and big lariats, with Sato nearly getting the win after spiking Fujita with a Piledriver but a quick thinking Sekine bulldozed Sato with a huge shoulderblock! The end of the match came as Fujita and Maeguchi began to tear into each other, Maeguchi actually getting the better of the veteran beast with his vicious strike combinations, it looked as if Maeguchi nearly had the match won, but a accidental high kick from Sato that was meant for Fujita clocked Maeguchi, this allowed Sekine to dump Sato on his head with a big German Suplex, taking him out of the match as Fujita nearly punted Maeguchi's head off with a stiff kick and followed it up with his signature Beast Bomb to pick up the win!
Post-Match, Fujita and Sekine gloated over their victory, saying that they would continue to have the strongest partnership in Catch The Lightning, as no other team on the roster would be able to contend with the two strongest men in CTL, with Fujita ending his speech with an ominous warning that "The Nation Of Beasts" will continue to grow even stronger, as the two rampaged to the back! Meanwhile Maeguchi, who was barely conscious, swore that he would have revenge against the two monsters and that he would continue to fight in CTL, while Kohei Sato would say that he would be back in the future but for now would be focusing on other projects.
Match 4: "Battle Concentration" - 20 Minute Time Limit Masakatsu Funaki & Hikaru Sato Def. Katsuhiko Nakajima & Masaaki Mochizuki in 12:55 via Hybrid Blaster from Funaki to Nakajima
The fourth match of the night was a exciting affair full of stiff strikes and high intensity as the new duo of Katsuhiko Nakajima & Masaaki Mochizuki faced off against Masakatsu Funaki and Funaki's new partner, who was revealed to be the highly decorated MMA and Pro Wrestling star Hikaru Sato! The match began with Nakajima and Funaki sizing each other up, the two former NOAH stars knew each other very well as they grappled on the mat for a bit, each showing that they could keep up with each other until Funaki grabbed a surprise Sleeper Hold that nearly caused Nakajima to tap right then and there had he not gotten his foot on the rope, from there a kick fight began as Nakajima and Funaki laid into each other with hard kicks and palm strikes, the crowd on edge as it seemed like any single strike could be a knockout blow, which looked to be the case as Funaki had landed a palm strike right onto the chin of Nakajima that nearly knocked him out had it not been for him catching himself on the rope, which lead to the two tagging out, Mochizuki and Sato picking up where they left as they went right after each other with stiff kicks and strikes, Mochizuki and Sato's kicks sounding like gunshots as the two veterans absolutely clobbered each other, at one point Mochizuki nearly landing a finishing blow as he caught Sato right in the face with a Jumping High Kick! Sato would repay Mochizuki in kind however as a big kick of his own nearly felled Mochizuki, followed by a brutally stiff headbutt and a vicious Cross Armbreaker that nearly snapped Mochi's arm had it not been for Nakajima's intervention by kicking the soul out of Sato with a vicious Penalty Kick! tags were made multiple times throughout the match as Mochizuki and Funaki finally got involved with one another, the two elder statesmen of each team absolutely battering each other in an exchange of strikes that got the crowd to a frenzy, while Nakajima and Sato throttled each other on the floor, with Nakajima getting the advantage after kicking Sato's head into the barricade, taking him out for quite a bit, until the finish came as Nakajima tagged himself in to go after Funaki, this proved to bite Nakajima in the end as Sato was able to recover and pull Mochizuki from the apron, this distraction allowing Funaki to catch Nakajima in a tight Sleeper Hold, but just before Nakajima went out, Funaki spun him around and drilled him on the head with the Hybrid Blaster to score the win!
Post-Match, Funaki and Sato were thrilled over the victory, with Sato making the announcement that he would be signing full time with Catch The Lightning in order to continue to team with Funaki, Funaki meanwhile confirmed that he was indeed also signing full time with CTL and that he would continue to team with Sato, aiming to prove that the veterans still have what it takes to wrestle at the highest level and they would prove that they have the ability to lead Catch The Lightning! Meanwhile Nakajima and Mochizuki were disheartened by their loss, but not completely defeated as Mochizuki stated that this was a lesson learned and they would continue to grow as a team, while Nakajima said that while he felt the same way, he wouldn't rest until he got his hands on Funaki again!
Match 5: "Fighting Artists" - 20 Minute Time Limit Takanori Ito & Takahiro Tababa Def. Seichi Ikemoto & Kotaro Nasu in 10:00 via German Suplex Hold from Ito to Nasu
The fifth match of the night was another hard hitting encounter as Ikemoto and Nasu once again teamed together to face the debuting pair of brawlers Takanori Ito and Takahiro Tababa! Ito and Ikemoto started the match but what seemed to be a friendly gesture turned out to be a brutal trap as Ito faked a handshake with the veteran and blasted Ikemoto right in the jaw with a stiff straight right hand, crumbling Ikemoto to the mat and nearly ending the match right there and then, it was clear Ito and Tababa weren't here to make friends as the theme of the match was the relentless brutality that Ito and Tababa showed against the veterans, Ito in particular was nasty here as he forced Ikemoto to tag out by dragging him to his corner and making Nasu tag in, Ikemoto was in bad shape as Ito brawled with Nasu, throwing hard strikes and trading vicious suplexes and holds, Ito's brutality nearly allowed Nasu to grab a quick victory however as he countered a Ito German Suplex into a Rear Naked Choke, but the choke was quickly broken with a hand on the ropes! Ito tagged out to Tababa, who quickly lived up to his Bad Boy moniker as he rushed past the referee to deliever a massive boot right to Nasu's face, busting open Nasu's face as the two portly sluggers destroyed each other with stiff right hands and kicks, Nasu would get the advantage after ducking a Tababa right hook and dumping him on his head with a sick Saito Suplex, before tagging in the pissed off Ikemoto who flew past Tababa to crack Ito right in the mouth with a right hand of his own! The constant brawling would continue to be a theme of the match as the animosity between the two teams continued to boil over, Ito and Ikemoto having to be separated multiple times by the referee while Nasu and Tababa continued to slug it out in the ring, Nasu once again drilling Tababa with another Saito Suplex but Tababa countered with a Suplex of his own with a brutal Dragon Suplex! The finish to the match finally came as Ito and Nasu brawled with each other until Ito once again used a stiff right hand to take the advantage, a flurry of high kicks would stun Nasu before Ito would nearly decapitate him with a huge Spinning Wheel Kick, Tababa would play interference by trapping Ikemoto in a Cobra Twist while Ito dumped Nasu on his head with a picture perfect Bridging German Suplex to pick up the brutal victory!
Post-Match, Ito and Tababa gloated loudly over their victory, they said they weren't in CTL to make friends and that they were there to kick ass and win gold, Ito in particular was particularly nasty towards Ikemoto and Nasu, saying that they were nobodies that couldn't compare to the raw brutality that Ito promised he and Tababa would bring to CTL, Tabaa himself spoke up about the team signing CTL contracts and saying they would use the opportunity to do what they do best: run absolutely wild on all the competiton! Meanwhile Ikemoto and Nasu were absolutely enraged by their opponents violent actions, with Ikemoto swearing he would pay back Ito in blood and challenged him to a singles match anytime anywhere!
Match 6: "Violent Gale" - 20 Minute Time Limit Tom Lawlor & Tiger Ruas Def. Takashi Sugiura & Josh Barnett in 12:28 via The NKOTB from Lawlor to Sugiura
The sixth match of the night was one of the most hotly anticipiated matchups as the legendary Takashi Sugiura teamed with former UFC Heavyweight Champion and King Of Pancrase Josh Barnett, to battle the brash and arrogant Tom Lawlor and the monstrous Vale Tudo fighter Tiger Ruas! Sugiura and Lawlor started things off, with Lawlor's usual trash talking leading to a stiff forearm to the mouth from Sugiura, who appeared to be in no mood for any funny business, Sugiura and Lawlor's grappling exchange would quickly break down into a hockey fight as the two men began throwing stiff right hands and headbutts, with Lawlor managing to split himself open after throwing a flurry of headbutts at the Killing Machine, but Sugiura was able to counter back with a flurry of hard palm strikes and slaps before a sudden heel kick from Lawlor blasted Sugiura back into the corner, tags were made as The Warmaster and The Brazilian Beast locked horns, the two rivals blistering each other with hard shots and kicks before Barnett double legged Ruas and began a hard ground and pound until Ruas was able to blast the Warmaster in the face with a brutal grounded Roundhouse Kick that sent him out of the ring! Tags were made as Sugiura brawled with Ruas, both men showcasing their Amateur Wrestling ability as they struggled for dominance on the floor before Ruas once again was able to use his brutal kicks to his advantage, stunning Sugiura long enough to tag in Lawlor who blasted Sugiura with a Busaiku style Knee strike! The rest of the match was, simply put, a wild fight. Sugiura and Lawlor constantly trying to get at each other while Barnett and Ruas charged into each other like two Mammoths, grappling all over the ring and trading leglocks and kicks, at one point Barnett had Ruas caught in a deep Heel Hook, and the Brazilian Beast was close to tapping if it wasn't for Lawlor's timely interference, with the match coming to a end as Sugiura blasted Lawlor with a huge Lariat, Barnett and Sugiura looked to have Lawlor right where they wanted him, but Ruas was able to intervene at the last second, nearly taking Barnett's head off with a huge Spinning Capoeira Kick that completely destroyed The Warmaster, sending him crumbling out of the ring! Sugiura tried his best to fight off the two brutal fighters, but another big Spinning Kick from Ruas stunned Sugiura long enough for Lawlor to catch him in a Sleeper Hold, this choked out Sugiura long enough for Lawlor to straight-jacket the arms and nail Sugiura right in the back of the head with The NKOTB Knee Strike, knocking the Killing Machine out cold for the pinfall victory!
Post-Match, Lawlor celebrated pinning Sugiura like he won the lottery, proclaiming that he was the Killing Machine Killer, and that he would make it his mission to expel Sugiura from Catch The Lightning, demanding that Sugiura bring Kazushi Sakuraba next time so he can try and take out another legend, with Lawlor announcing that he would be bringing one of his Team Filthy teammates to Catch The Lighting very soon, it sounds like a huge tag team match could be on the horizion! Tiger Ruas meanwhile proclaimed that he would finish off Barnett at another time as he had to return to Brazil for a while, but promised to return to CTL to show why he's the strongest fighter in the world! Meanwhile, Sugiura was more than angry, absolutely fuming at the arrogant Lawlor and promised that he would pay him back, saying that he would make Lawlor and Team Filthy cry to their mothers when he was finished with them, while Barnett said that he planned on making Catch The Lightning his home base in Japan, and even though he still wants a piece of Ruas, he had his eyes on a few other Catch The Lighting competitors, and would be back very soon!
Match 7: "Maestros Of The Mat" - 20 Minute Time Limit Hideki Suzuki & Timothy Thatcher & VIRUS Def. Zack Sabre Jr & Chris Ridgeway & Negro Navarro in 19:68 via The RNC from Thatcher to ZSJ
The Semi-Final match of the evening was yet another brilliant display of technical wrestling as the British mat wizards Zack Sabre Jr and Chris Ridgeway teamed with Lucha legend Negro Navarro to face Hideki Suzuki and two debuting stars, Hideki's close friend the brutal Timothy Thatcher, and the bizarre and highly skilled Lucha submission specialist VIRUS! The match began with ZSJ and Suzuki going right for each other, going hold for hold and wrestling each other to the mat, with Hideki using his superior size to muscle Zack to his own corner, but not before slapping ZSJ hard across the face, Zack nearly retaliated until Ridgeway forced himself into the match by tagging himself in, this would be a theme of the match as ZSK and Ridgeway's dislike for each other would become more and more known. The tag was made as Timothy Thatcher made his way into the ring, and immediately went after Ridgeway with his usual brand of savagery, the two rugged fighters wrestled for control over eachother, Thatcher catching Ridgeway in a tight headlock and forcing him down to the mat before wrenching in a brutal bow and arrow hold, Thatcher had control for most of the exchange, switching between holds and stiff uppercuts until Ridgeway used his kicks to take Thatcher by surprise, hitting a huge flurry before a big Spinning Heel Kick finally felled Thatcher, tags were made once again as Navarro and VIRUS entered the fray, the two lucha maestros immediately getting to work, locking up and taking each other to the mat as the two elder statesmen of each team dazzeled the audience with brilliant technical wrestling, the two master tying each other up in wild and striking looking holds, with both trying for their respective signature submission moves but both were able to escape, with the violence turing up a bit when Navarro caught VIRUS with a stiff right hand and a uppercut that knocked the smaller man down, but VIRUS paid Navarro back in kind with a brutal mule kick that caught the legend right in the face, knocking him to the ground, VIRUS quickly capitalized on it and trapped Navarro in his signature Virus Stretch but the match was saved by ZSJ breaking up the hold with a well timed Penalty Kick! Tags in and out were frequent as all 6 men capitvated the audience with their knowledge of technical wrestling: Hideki and Navarro grappling all over the ring, ZSJ and VIRUS tying each other up in knots while Ridgeway and Thatcher laid into each other with brutal strikes, but once again one of the themes of the match was the growing animosity between ZSJ and Ridgeway, who would forcefully tag each other in and out in a game of one upsmanship, which led to the downfall of their team. Ridgeway was nearly able to finish off Thatcher with an Ankle Lock but ZSJ tagged himself in with a hard slap to the back of Ridgeway, the two Brits got into a shoving match before Ridgeway turned around and nearly took off Zack's head with a Spinning Heel Kick! This chaos allowed the other team to take advantage as Hideki Suzuki bullrushed Ridgeway, planting him with a huge Billy Robinson Style Backbreaker, while VIRUS drilled Navarro with a brutal Slingshot Tornado DDT, the massive kick dazed ZSJ long enough for Thatcher to catch him in a extremely tight Rear Naked Choke, completely choking out Zack Sabre Jr for the victory!
Post-Match, Zack Sabre Jr was absolutely infuriated as he stormed the backstage area and charged at Ridgeway, the two British fighters having to be pulled apart by security as they yelled obscenities at each other, with Zack challenging Ridgeway to a singles match! Meanwhile Thatcher, Hideki and VIRUS celebrated their victory as a trio, Hideki and Thatcher were straightforward and savage with their words, that they would create a Snake Pit that would constrict the rest of CTL and that they and they alone would be the men on top of the company, while VIRUS said he has his own plans for Catch The Lightning and he would be back to show the fans of CTL his own unique brand of Lucha Libre!
Main Event: "All-Out Assault" - 30 Minute Time Limit Keita Yano & Taro Yamada & Tristan Archer Def. GENTARO & Takuya Nomura & Fuminori Abe in 27:85 via Yurikamome from Yano to Nomura
The main event of the evening was an exciting affair as the Pro Wrestling Meister GENTARO teamed with The Astronauts Takuya Nomura and Fuminori Abe to face the CTL World Openweight Champion Keita Yano and his two new allies, Yano's fellow Pro Wrestling Wallabee star, the hard hitting and ruthless Taro Yamada and the beastial French freelancer Tristan Archer! GENTARO and Yano started off as the champion and his challenger looked to size each other up, their unique grappling based styles clashing as GENTARO's old school style of technical wrestling went up against Yano's unorthodox skills, GENTARO keeping his grappling clean and consise, while Yano would his mixture of different styles to trip up GENTARO, switching from the classical British style catch as catch can to wild American style brawling, at one point breaking out of a GENTARO headscissors by bitting a chunk out of his leg! Once the blood was shed the friendly grappling was thrown out the window as Yano and GENTARO started throwing bombs at each other, until Yano caught GENTARO off guard with a stiff throat thrust that stunned the veteran, dropping him to his knee's and allowing Yano time to tag out. GENTARO made the right call to tag as well as both Takuya Nomura and Taro Yamada tagged in and immediately went at each other, Nomura blasting Yamada right in the face with a huge boot and throttling him with a rapid flurry of strikes and kicks, welcoming Yamada to CTL in violent fashion, however Yamada would delve in his fair share of violence as a errant kick from Nomura lead to a massive Knee Strike from Yamada that nearly knocked out Nomura right then and there, this was followed by a Jumping Double Knee Drop straight to Nomura's stomach, from there Yamada worked over Nomura with some absolutely vicious offense, kicking and stomping the youngster before tagging in Tristan Archer, the Frenchmen immediately used his super strength to muscle up Nomura and throw him around with a variety of suplexes, before nearly getting the win for his team with a huge Discus Lariat, but Nomura was barely able to power out of it. A quick high kick from Nomura dazed Archer enough for Nomura to tag out to Abe, who shot out of his corner like a cannon with a huge dropkick to Archer, before also taking out Yano and Yamada! Abe was a house of fire as he hit Archer with a huge flurry of offense ending with his signature Spinning Sobat and a big Half Hatch Suplex that got a quick 2 count. The rest of the match was high octane combat as the 6 men tried to absolutely destroy each other at every turn. GENTARO and Yano going head to head in the ring, trading stiff right hands and headbutts while Nomura and Abe brawled with Yamada and Archer on the outside of the ring before they all blitzed the ring: Archer destroying Abe with a big Discus Lariat before turning into a High Kick from Nomura, Nomura getting taken down and Curb Stomped by Yamada only for Yamada to be dropped on his head by a big Backdrop Suplex from GENTARO, only for GENTARO to turn into a huge Kei-Chan Bomber from Keita as all 6 men were exhausted on the mat as the crowd went wild! The finish to the match came as Nomura tagged himself in, eager to prove himself against the World Champion Yano and nearly defeated Yano with a huge Dragon Suplex, but the end came when Nomura got too confident and tried for yet another Dragon Suplex, Yano was able to slither out of Nomura's clutches and bash him in the back of the head with a huge Kei-Chan Bomber, Yano was able to floor Nomura and lock in his signature Yurikamome submission, and with no one to break it up due to Archer taking out Abe with his signature Coup De Tat and Yamada trapping GENTARO on the floor by burying him under chairs, Nomura was forced to submit as the World Openweight Champion takes another victory!
Post-Match, Yano taunted the young man, saying that he and Abe had a long way to go before they could make their way to the top of CTL, and called GENTARO a senile old fool who was a long way away from being championship worthy, while Yano and his team mates were gloating over their victory, Abe helped Nomura to the back while GENTARO stayed behind to yell at Yano, calling him an arrogant clown who's very presence is corroding CTL, and it would be him and him alone that would put The Wallabee down for good, this enraged Yano, who took his title from the referee and smashed it over GENTARO's HEAD! Yano, Yamada and Archer started putting the boots to GENTARO, beating him down until Nomura and Abe ran out to try and help him, but just as it seemed like there was some hope, a black masked figure went into the ring and took out both Nomura and Abe with a huge double clothesline! The masked figure helped the other three beat down GENTARO, Nomura and Abe as Yano began to laugh maniaclly, he introduced the masked man as the CAPTURE pro wrestling "Slaughter Machine" Super Crafter U! Yano, Yamada, Archer and U posed over the three fallen men as Yamada pulled out a black and purple flag with a beret wearing Skull on it, he held it out as Yano announced that all of Catch The Lightning would fall under the rule of THE WALLABEE TRIBE!
After the show, the full card for CTL Volume 3 was announced!

CATCH THE LIGHTNING VOLUME 3 IN KBS HALL
Match One: "Lightspeed Battle" - 15 Minute Time Limit
Fujita Jr Hayato & Ryota Nakatsu Def. Seiki Yoshioka & Keisuke Ishii in 13:00 via The Helm from Hayato to Yoshioka
Catch The Lighting Volume 3 was kickstarted with a lighting fast battle as Seiki Yoshioka and Keisuke Ishii try to go for their first win as a team against the brutal and punkish duo of Fujita Jr Hayato & Ryota Nakatsu! Yoshioka and Fujita started the match off at a fast pace as they charged each other and immediately started blistering each other with stiff kicks and slaps that got the crowd on their feet due to the brutality of their strikes. Yoshioka was able to get the upperhand with a huge spinning kick that nearly put Hayato out of action right then and there but Hayato was able to take the momentum back after a huge jumping knee strike that knocked Yoshioka out of the ring! Tags were soon made as Ishii and Nakatsu slowed the match down a bit to grapple on the ground, using their elite grappling skills to wrestle for dominance before Nakatsu took the advantage by using his superior strength to deadlift Ishii off the mat and plant him with a huge powerbomb, this was followed by a brutal soccer kick that looked as if it nearly knocked out Ishii! Ishii would not allow this brutal strike to stifle him however as he would make it to his feet and charge Nakatsu, drilling him in the face with a huge Spinning Heel Kick and then pummeling Nakatsu with several stiff forearms and closed fist punches, the referee actually having to break the two up, but this just allowed Nakatsu to tag in Hayato sneakily, who immediately flew across the ring and booted Ishii out of the ring and then slapped the taste out of Yoshioka's mouth! Yoshioka tagged himself in and booted Hayato right in the face before the kick battle began once again, however Yoshioka's rage would get the better off him as a errant strike allowed Hayato to catch him right in the jaw with a huge roundhouse kick, this was quickly followed by Hayato's signature Helm Knee Strike as Hayato and Nakatsu picked up another big tag team win!
Post-Match: Hayato and Nakatsu bragged once again about them scoring another big win and proceeded to say that they want to become the first CTL Tag Team Champions, floating around the idea of a tag league of sorts that would prove who was the best tag team in all of Catch The Lightning. Hayato and Nakatsu would proceed to say that they would take on all comers and they aren't going to stop until they've beaten every single person they could beat in CTL! Meanwhile Yoshioka and Ishii were royally pissed about losing another match, with Yoshioka swearing that he wouldn't stop until he would suprass Hayato, and challenged him to a singles match in the future! Ishii meanwhile would reprimand Yoshioka, telling him that he needs to get his rage under control or else they would never get anywhere in CTL, Yoshiok apologized to his partner and swore right there that from here on out they would do nothing but win
Match Two: "Kaiju Clash" - 15 Minute Time Limit
Kazuyuki Fujita & Hideki Sekine & Kodai Nozaki Def. Kouki Iwasaki & Mizuki Watase & Tyson Maeguchi in 12:58 via Cannonball Spear from Nozaki to Maeguchi
The second match of the night was a unbelieveably wild affair as the rough and tough trio of Iwasaki, Watase and Maeguchi faced off against the absolutely monstrous trio of Fujita, Sekine and the debuting Kodai Nozaki! The match started off in truly gritty fashion as Iwasaki showed absolutely no fear in the face of the former IWGP Heavyweight Champion Fujita as he answered the veterans hubris with a straight right hand that busted Fujita's mouth open! From there on it was a massive brawl as Iwasaki and Fujita blistered each other with hard forearms and punches, before Fujita got the upper hand with a headbutt and a big German Suplex, but this wouldn't keep Iwasaki down as Iwasaki would speed towards Fujita and nail him with a huge Wheel Kick to the back of Fujita's head, knocking the big man out of the ring! Iwasaki and Fujita would continue to brawl all over the outside of the arena, the youngster not backing down from the veteran monster as he continued to go after him with hard shots, tags were eventually made as Watase and Shrek immediately charged into each other like two wild beasts, Watase and Shrek pelted each other with hard forearms until both men actually busted each other open when they headbutted each other at the same time! The younger Watase would continue to go after the monstrous Sekine with a flurry of forearms and dropkicks, but Sekine was able to rip the advantage from Watase with a big Judo Throw and a stiff kick to the head! Tags would be made again as the down on his luck but fierce Maeguchi faced off against the debuting goliath Kodai Nozaki, the rookie monster immediately making an impact with the CTL audience as he absolutely destroyed Maeguchi with a huge running Crossbody and then a big Senton that nearly ended the match, from then on it was a fight for survival as Maeguchi threw wild strikes, trying to cut Nozaki's legs out from underneath him before clipping the big man in the face with a stiff punch, but Nozaki would once again put Maeguchi down with a snap Judo Throw and followed htis with a huge Deadlift Powerbomb. The finish of the match came with pandemonium as the monstrous trio brawled on the outside of the ring, until Nozaki ripped Maeguchi in half with his signature Spear to score the win in his debut!
Post-Match: Fujita Sekine and Nozaki went on a rampage backstage as Fujita swore he would tear Kouki Iwasaki apart and demanded he face him in a singles match while Sekine and Nozaki menaced the backstage personnel, Fujita announced the formation of NATION OF BEASTS, and this faction would become comprised of the most monstrous beasts of the wrestling world! Meanwhile Iwasaki and co were fired up even in defeat they were happy they finally broke Fujita's cool, with Iwasaki accepting Fujita's challenge and swore he would be the first person in CTL to take down the monster!
Match Three: "The Tale Of Kicks" - 20 Minute Time Limit
Masaaki Mochizuki & Katsuhiko Nakajima Def. Kota Umeda & Mochizuki Jr. in 17:58 via Sankakugeri from Mochizuki to Mochi Jr
The third match of the night was a unique encounter as the veteran duo of Mochizuki and Nakajima faced off against the rough and tumble duo of highly touted freelancer Kota Umeda...and Mochizuki's own son Mochizuki Jr! Nakajima and Umeda would start off the match as the two smug fighters sized each other up, starting the match off with some slick grappling before breaking down into a kick fight between The Mad Wolf and The Mad Dog, Umeda actually managing to get the advantage from Nakajima after he blocked a Nakajima High Kick with one of his own, and then blasted Nakajima out of the ring with a Yakuza Kick! The tags were made as the CTL audience grew restless as they watched the father and son duo enter the ring, Mochizuki himself looking a little tepid about fighting his own son, but that was quickly thrown away as Mochi Jr slapped his father right across the face, and lit up the veteran with a series of huge kicks and a snap Dragon Suplex that looked as if it was gonna finish the match right there! The father and son would continue to light each other up with stiff strikes until Mochizuki Senior dropped his son with a hard liver kick and a Brainbuster! Nakajima tagged in and, with Mochizuki's blessing, absolutely pummeled Mochi Jr with hard strikes, teasing Mochi Jr with that signature grin until Mochi Jr popped Nakajima in the jaw with a stiff right hand, another tag was made and Umeda charged in, kicking Nakajima's leg out from underneath him and following that with a huge PK that got a very close 2 count! Umeda tried to nail his signature Umeda Driver, but Nakajima powered out and nailed a big High Kick and his signature Vertical Spike Brainbuster, but Mochi Jr used his quick wit to kick Nakajima out of the ring before he could go for the pin! The match ended once again between the father and son as Mochi Jr hit his father with almost everything he had, nailing him with nonstop kicks before trying for his signature Twister The World, but Mochi Sr was one step ahead of his son, as he drilled him with a Dragon Suplex, and followed this with his signature Sankakugeri Kick and scored the win!
Post-Match: Mochizuki and Nakajima stayed in the ring to speak with Umeda and Mochi Jr, Mochizuki telling his son how proud he was to stand across the ring from him, while Nakajima admitted he was impressed with Umeda's fire, the two veterans said they sought to put together a unique team of wrestlers to take the top spot of CTL, and they wanted to recruit Umeda and Mochi Jr! It didn't take long for the answer to be made as Mochi Jr embraced his father while Umeda shook hands with Nakajima, the two younger men saying they couldn't wait to prove themselves to the CTL audience, Mochizuki would go onto announce that this quartet would be known as TEAM GALE, and that they would seek to expand the group to include others when the time was right!
Match 4: "Spirit Of UWF" - 20 Minute Time Limit
Takanori Ito Def. Seichi Ikemoto in 15:58 via German Suplex Hold
The fourth match of the night was the first of four singles matches as Seichi Ikemoto and Takanori Ito continued their hard hitting rivalry! The match began well before the bell began as Ito and Ikemoto met each other on the floor, Ito charging Ikemoto before he hit the ring and blasted the veteran right in the face with a huge Big Boot, and he proceeded to continue with his signature ground and pound style, powerslamming Ikemoto on the floor and bashing him with chairs and even a camera chord until the Referee forced him to get into the ring. The bell officially rang and Ito once again pounced on Ikemoto, bashing the veteran in the back of the head with a hard forearm and then a big Backdrop Suplex that got him a very close 2 count. Ikemoto would finally be able to fight back as he caught Ito hard in the throat with a punch, and would take Ito down with a series of hard kicks and palm strikes, these were followed by a Double Leg as Ikemoto would lock Ito in a tight Heel Hook that nearly submitted Ito had it not been for Ito managing to get his finger on the bottom rope! The fight would become even more brutal as Ikemoto threw a hard kick that busted open Ito's nose, the blood pouring down the violent brute's face as he charged Ikemoto again, headbutting him to bust him open and grabbing Ikemoto in a brutal Single Leg Crab, Ito would push the pressure on the hold even more by kicking and stomping on Ikemoto's head while he did so! Ito would use his superior strength to muscle Ikemoto up and launch him across the ring with a belly to belly suplex, this was followed by yet another Backdrop Suplex and then a huge Buzzsaw Kick that nearly knocked Ikemoto out cold. The finish to the match came soon after as Ikemoto tried his best to fight back with his submission skills, managing to catch Ito in several different armbars and leglocks, but the finale came as Ito countered another Leglock attempt with a huge kneedrop to Ikemoto's face, this was followed by another stiff roundhouse kick and another picture perfect Bridging German Suplex to put away the veteran!
Post-Match: Ito was once again short, sweet and brutal with his post-match comments, calling Ikemoto a washed up hack who got his ass kicked by a superior fighter, and that he wanted no part of Ikemoto after this match as he wanted to go onto bigger and better things, claiming that he and his partner Takahiro Tababa wanted to enrich the CTL Tag Team Division with a injection of violence! Meanwhile Ikemoto sulked over his brutal defeat, saying that he felt very low for seemingly losing to Ito so easily, but would vow to get stronger and would return soon, alongside his tag partner Kotaro Nasu!
Match Five: "Warring Kingdom" - 30 Minute Time Limit
Chris Ridgeway Def. Zack Sabre Jr in 19:58 via Vertical Drop Brainbuster
The 5th match of the night was a violent display of technical wrestling as the two British rivals finally came to blows as ZSJ and Ridgeway confronted each other in the middle of the ring, spouting off several swears and shoving each other repeatedly, it was no surprise to the audience that the moment the bell rang, Zack and Ridgeway wasted little time in trying to rip each other apart! The two English masters immediately started blasting each other with stiff kicks and uppercuts, ZSJ throwing a particularly nasty one that caught Ridgeway right in the eye, giving the stoic brit a nasty black eye, but Ridgeway quickly paid ZSJ back in kind with a nasty spinning heel kick that busted Zack's lip. The strike exchange would lead to a long stretch of chain wrestling as Zack and Chris would go counter for counter and hold for hold, the two men constantly switching between submission holds: Zack hooking Ridgeway in a Cross Armbreaker only for Ridgeway to counter into a Ankle Lock, Ridgeway locking in a Sleeper Hold only for Zack to roll out into his signature European Clutch for a quick 2 count, only for Ridgeway to immediately kip up and nail Zack with a stiff Jumping Knee and trapped the British Master in his own European Clutch for another 2 count! The two technical wizards would continue to dazzel the crowd with their unique styles, Ridgeway nearly managing to submit Zack with a Guillotine Choke before Zack rolled through and managed to trap Ridgeway in a Triangle Armbar, wrenching at Ridgeway's arm and nearly snapping it in half but Ridgeway was able to counter with a brutal kick to the head after he managed to make it to his feet! More strikes are exchanged after this, the two fighters ignoring any possible attempts at submissions and now throwing mean vicious strikes at each other, constantly kicking each other in the face and head with hard roundhouse and yakuza style kicks and throwing vicious uppercuts and elbows, Ridgeway clocking ZSJ hard with a Forearm and attempted a Tiger Driver but Zack flipped out of it and tried to go for the Zack Driver, but this move proved costly as Ridgeway was able to power out of it and nail a big Spinning Heel Kick that stunned ZSJ long enough for Ridgeway to hit a nasty Brainbuster to score the win!
Post-Match: Ridgeway was his usual stoic but arrogant self, boasting that he was able to outwrestle and outfight Zack Sabre Jr and he proved that he was the better British star in CTL, but said that he respected how good ZSJ was and that if Zack wants a rematch, he'll gladly do it again just to beat him down again, Ridgeway mentioned that he had momentum and he wasn't gonna stop until he proved himself to be the very best in CTL and that he's looking onto bigger things, before mentioning that he may just be bringing a friend or two to CTL soon. Meanwhile ZSJ was bitter about his defeat, but accepted that perhaps Ridgeway may just end up being his equal, he swore that he wouldn't stop until he reached the top of CTL and he guranteed that he would be the MVP of the whole bloody company!
Match Six: "International Encounter" - 30 Minute Time Limit
Rocky Romero Def. Minoru Tanaka in 19:00 via Nomisugi
The 6th match of the night was a exciting encounter as Minoru Tanaka faced off against the debuting Rocky Romero! Tanaka and Rocky started the match off with what seemed to be a friendly handshake, but Rocky being the sneaky trickster he is immediately capitalized on Tanaka's respect and rolled him in a tight Small Package that nearly gave him the win in a few seconds! From then on no pleasantries were shared between the two as they lit each other up with hard kicks before Tanaka hit a palm strike that dazed Romero, Tanaka took the advantage to lock in the Minoru Special Armbar but Rocky used his quick thinking to force the Armbar into another rollup and Tanaka once again had to power out of a pinfall predicament! Tanaka and Rocky would continue to grapple with each other, striving for dominance over the other, Rocky tripping up Tanaka with his sneaky tactics and Lucha Libre style, at one point tying Tanaka up in the ropes and going to work on his arm with vicious kicks and a big knee drop right on the elbow, Tanaka was in rough shape until he was able to catch Rocky with a hard High Kick! Tanaka was fired up and done with Rocky's tricks as he absolutely worked over Rocky with kicks and palm strikes before hitting a slick Death Valley Driver that spiked Rocky right on his head! Tanaka continued to stay on the offense, managing to counter alot of Rocky's offense into various different submissions, including a nasty Kneebar that nearly forced Rocky to tap out had it not been for Rocky's quick thinking as he managed to make it to his feet long enough to drop his knee on Tanaka's face to break the submisson! Tanaka tried for yet another offensive move, once again trying to go for his Minoru Special but Rocky was able to once again counter it by turning it into a Powerbomb! After this the mood of the match changed as the two men's tension began to boil over as the two veterans just started slugging each other before Tanaka double legged Romero and the brawl was on, the referee having to split the two apart after they just started pounding each other with punches, with Rocky at one point slapping the spit out of Tanaka's mouth and Tanaka responding in kind with one that dropped Romero. The finish to the match finally came as the men were trading high kicks, each man trying their best to knock the other out until Tanaka was able to floor Romero with a big Spin Kick, but Tanaka's confidence proved to be his undoing as he scaled the top rope to go for his Fireball 450 but Romero got his knees up at the last second! Tanaka crashed and burned, this allowed Romero to take some time to catch his breath as he then slung himself forward and took out Tanaka with The Nomisugi Knee for the surprise win!
Post-Match: Romero was all smiles as he gloated backstage with his victory over Tanaka, saying that he was in CTL to show everyone that he wasn't some tough talking charlatan and that he was the real deal when it came to his Azucar style Professional Wrestling, Rocky said he was in CTL for the long run and he's going to be bringing quite a few surprises to CTL very soon! Meanwhile Tanaka once again sulked after losing another big singles match, saying that he has never felt as down as he was now and he knew that something had to change, so he made the challenge: With his singles match losses coming to Chris Ridgeway and Rocky Romero, Tanaka said that he would make sure he was the standard bearer when it comes to International talent wanting to make a name for themselves in CTL, so he announced that he would start the Tanaka International Series, calling out the worlds best professional wrestlers to come to CTL to face him!
Match Seven: "Into The Pit" - 30 Minute Time Limit
Hideki Suzuki & Timothy Thatcher Def. Masakatsu Funaki & Hikaru Sato in 20:00 via Double Arm Suplex Hold from Suzuki to Sato
The Seventh match of the night was a brutal tag team affair as the two hard hitting duos went to war in what is already being called one of the best matches in the companies short history! The match began with Funaki and Suzuki getting right to work with some hard grappling, the two men having no love for each other after some of the wars they've had over the years, Suzuki and Funaki locked up and immediately jockeyed for position, Funaki backing Suzuki into a neutral corner and respectfully backing off...until Hideki absolutely destroyed Funaki's face with a stiff forearm that nearly knocked the PANCRASE legend nearly out cold! Suzuki mounted Funaki and started raining down hard shots and punt style kicks to the veterans head and body before deadlifting him up into a brutal looking Dragon Suplex that got a close 2 count. Suzuki would continue his violent onslaught on the older veteran, focusing alot of his attack on the ribs and back of Funaki with crushing forearms and soccer style kicks, before forcing Funaki to the mat and cranking on a brutal Cobra Twist that looked like it would have snapped him in half if it wasn't for a timely interference from Sato. Funaki would finally get some reprieve after dropping Hideki with a big slap and was finally able to tag in Sato while Suzuki tagged in Thatcher. Sato and Thatcher would grapple all over the ring, Sato managing to keep Thatcher on his toes with hard kicks and knees up until Thatcher clobbered Sato with a Uppercut and a Rope Rebound Belly To Belly Suplex which got Thatcher a 2 count. Sato would however show his signature tenacity as he answered Thatcher's onslaught with a flurry of strikes that ended with a huge kick to the gut that dropped Thatcher! Sato tagged in Funaki who went right to work at trying to keep Thatcher grounded, hitting multiple big kicks and a huge Rolling Wheel Kick that looked as if it nearly KO'd Thatcher, Funaki followed this with a Dragon Suplex of his own and slapped on a tight Kimura Lock that nearly scored the win if it wasn't for Hideki running interference and nearly punted Funaki's head off of his shoulders! Funaki was in bad shape as Thatcher went absolutely ballistic, hitting him with a flurry of knees and forearms before wrenching in a vicious STF that forced Sato to interfere on Funaki's behalf to bale him out, which earned him a big forearm from Hideki and a brutal headbutt from Thatcher! Thatcher and Suzuki continued their brutal offense on Funaki, clearly trying to take the veteran out as they nailed him with multiple brutal shots and Suplexes, nearly forcing a ref stoppage after dropping him with a double Enzuigiri, but Funaki was able to use the last bit of his energy to kick both men away and get the tag in for Sato! Sadly for the Hybrid Duo, Suzuki and Thatcher's brutality was simply too much as they rushed their way to victory, Hideki using his superior strength to hit Sato with his signature Gotch Style Tombstone Piledriver and his brutal Double Arm Suplex hold to get the victory while Thatcher had Funaki trapped in a Fujiwara Armbar!
Post-Match: Suzuki and Thatcher weren't happy with just winning the match as they continued their assault on the two, Thatcher choking out Sato with his RNC Choke while Suzuki continued to beat down Funaki, choking him out with his own Sleeper Hold before drilling Funaki on his head with back to back Gotch Tombstone Piledrivers! It was clear Hideki's bad feelings for Funaki translated over from NOAH as Hideki promised he would destroy Funaki and burn him out of CTL, and after he was finished with him, he would begin his hostile takeover of CTL! Suzuki and Thatcher promised that they would overtake CTL, announcing the formation of THE SNAKE PIT, a brutal faction of fighters with similar goals as Hideki, who promised that more of their fighters would be revealed in the future as they took their leave, but not before Hideki punted Funaki in the head one last time. Once Funaki regained consciousness he was absolutely livid, loudly exclaiming that he's been to hell and back and he wouldn't allow Hideki and Thatcher to bully him out of CTL, and challenged Hideki to a singles match to settle things!
Match 8: "The Burden of War" - 30 Minute Time Limit
Takashi Sugiura & Kazushi Sakuraba Def. Tom Lawlor & Rust Taylor in 17:58 via Yonemitsu Lift from Sugiura to Lawlor
The Eighth match of the night was a violent encounter as another chapter in the budding rivalry between Takashi Sugiura and Tom Lawlor was written in the form of a tag team match with two debuting participants, Sugiura's best friend and tag team partner the MMA legend Kazushi Sakuraba, and Lawlor's second in command of his brutal TEAM FILTHY faction, the enigmatic Rust Taylor! Sugiura and Lawlor started things off with Lawlor's signature taunting, continuing to call himself The Killing Machine Killer and pie facing Sugiura multiple times, which came back to bite him after a monstrous spear from Sugiura nearly ended things in seconds! Sugiura pressed the offense, brutalizing Lawlor with a flurry of elbows and forearms before literally picking Lawlor up and charging him OUT OF THE RING! Sugiura and Lawlor landed hard on the floor as they continued to go at it, Lawlor finally getting a chance to breath after German Suplexing Sugiura INTO the ring post and landed a hard kick to Sugiura's chest that seemed to stun The Killing Machine! Lawlor shoved Sugiura back into the ring and landed two big PK's followed by a big German Suplex that got a very close 2 count on Sugiura, Lawlor would continue to keep up his offense as he nailed a big Running Knee strike for another close 2 count. Lawlor tagged in Taylor, who immediately introduced himself to the CTL audience with his odd mannerisms and unique submission style, trapping Suigura in a tight Crucifix Choke and then what looked like a Modified Surfboard stretch that wowed the audience, Sugiura was able to power out but was stopped dead in his tracks after Taylor landed a Switchblade Style Kick and a Twisting Neckbreaker! Sugiura finally got a bit of reprieve when he was able to use his explosive power to pop Taylor in the face with a VERY stiff Knee Strike, and tagged in Sakuraba, firing up the CTL crowd as the MMA legend went to work, going hold for hold with Taylor and trading hard kicks until he was able to counter a Taylor Roundhouse Kick into a Dragon Screw and effortlessly turned it into a tight Calf Slicer that forced Taylor to immediately grab for the rope, Sakuraba playfully let Taylor go to tag in Lawlor as the two former MMA fighters grappled with each other, Lawlor using his superior size to dominate Sakuraba on the ground with big knees and kicks until Sakuraba caught Lawlor in a deep Triangle Choke that forced Lawlor to the ropes! Lawlor made Sakuraba pay for that with a huge Muso style slam but before he was able to hit the NKOTB, Sugiura came in out of nowhere with a huge Spear! The finish came soon after as Sugiura and Lawlor continued to go after each other while Sakuraba tried to keep Taylor at bay, Lawlor managed to nail a huge Jumping Knee on Sugiura but suddenly Sugiura was able to tackle Lawlor and get him up for the Yonemitsu Lift and jackknife cover Lawlor for the surprise victory!
Post-Match: Lawlor was absolutely livid at the roll up victory as he immediately rushed Sugiura after the match to pick another fight with him, the two brawlers trying to tear each other apart while their partners tried to keep them at bay, Lawlor stole the mic and bad mouthed Sugiura, saying he got lucky and he's still just a washed up old man, Lawlor demanded that they would get a singles match to finally settle things between the two of them! Sugiura said he was more than happy to face Lawlor one on one and even upped the stakes, demanding for the match to be KNOCKOUT OR SUBMISSION ONLY! Lawlor eagerly accepted as referees and security teams came to separate the two men, its very clear the bad blood between these two is boiling over!
Match Nine: "AstroPuncture" - 30 Minute Time Limit
Fuminori Abe Def. Taro Yamada in 18:39 via Onryo Clutch
The Semi-Final Match of the night was a fast paced no-nonsense match as Fuminori Abe faced the WALLABEE TRIBE Lieutenant Taro Yamada! The fight began before the match could even start as the two men actually started brawling in the backstage area before they ended up spilling into the arena! Abe and Yamada were tearing into each other with hard strikes and slamming each other all over the arena, with Yamada picking up Abe and ramming him into the crowd of fans, tossing chairs and other objects around as the brawl got more and more chaotic until the referee finally had to step in and threatened both of them to throw the match out! The violence didn't end there as the moment they finally got into the ring and the bell was rung the fight began all over again, Abe sprinting across the ring and dropkicking Yamada into the turnbuckles and pummeling him with hard kicks and closed fist punches, Abe's rage was on full display as he tried to tear into Yamada over the WALLABEE TRIBES violent actions against him and his tag partner, however Abe's rage would get the best of him for a moment as he went for another charging Dropkick that led to Yamada catching him square in the jaw with a Superkick! Yamada went ballistic as he hit a huge Bruiser Brody style Knee Drop to the back of Abe's head and rained down a series of manic punches and elbows to Abe as the violent mad man was absolutely unhinged, even shoving the referee when he tried to get him off of Abe, Yamada continued his brutal assault, picking Abe up and slamming him to the outside of the ring before hitting his signature Springboard Corkscrew Senton onto a prone Abe! Yamada continued his violent streak as he took a chair from a fan and broke it over Abe's head, busting his head open bad before Yamada made the damage even worse by carving at the wound with a piece of the broken chair, the fans were horrified at the violent act and it was only magnified when Yamada began biting at the cut like a savage dog. Yamada would continue to stay on offense, beating down Abe with whatever object he could get his hands on, he even tried to strangle Abe with a camera chord but Abe was able to power out of it with a Spinning Sole Kick and a absolutely brutal series of headbutts that split Yamada open, the match was quickly breaking down in a chaotic bloody brawl as the two men had the audience at a fever pitch! The end finally came when Abe and Yamada began to trade strikes in the middle of the ring, blood flying all over the place as they continued to pummel each other until Yamada once again took over with a big Lariat, Yamada tried for a Curb Stomp but Abe was able to catch the leg and nearly rip it off with a Dragon Screw Leg Whip, this allowed Abe enough time to hit a stiff Fastball Punch and catch Yamada in his Onryo Clutch pin combo to score the quick victory!
Post-Match: Abe got the roll-up victory but was immediately attacked from behind by Yamada again, who went absolutely ballistic and beat down Abe before Curb Stomping him onto the chair! Yamada took the mic and called Abe a mindless fool who didn't understand The WALLABEE vision and that very soon The Tribe would have control over all of CTL and there was nothing anybody would be able to do to stop it, Yamada proceeded to challenge Abe to a rematch and to amp up the stakes, would make it a TEXAS STYLE DEATHMATCH! Yamada tried to go after Abe again but was ran off by security, Abe finally came too and swore revenge over Yamada, accepting his challenge immediately!
Main Event: "Total War" - 30 Minute Time Limit
GENTARO & Takuya Nomura & Tatsuhito Takiawa Def. Keita Yano & Super Crafter U & Tristan Archer in 22:00 via Dragon Suplex Hold from Nomura to Archer
The main event of Catch The Lightning Volume 3 was a hotly contested 6 man tag match as GENTARO teamed with Takuya Nomura and the legendary Tatsuhito Takaiwa to face off against WALLABEE Tribe's General Keita Yano and two of his soldiers Tristan Archer and the mysterious Super Crafter U! The match started with GENTARO and Yano sizing each other up before exploding into a quick lock up, GENTARO and Yano keeping the pace with each other as they brilliant chain wrestled with each other up until Yano was able to take advantage of a misstep to blast GENTARO with a stiff uppercut, this was followed by a very Bret-Hart esque elbow drop as Yano took control, tagging in Archer who went straight to work on GENTARO with big suplexes and hard Lariats, the French beast looking to make quick work of his leader's challenger as he nailed a huge Discus Lariat that looked like it would have ended the match had it not been for timely interference from Nomura. GENTARO was able to tag out to Nomura who went right after Archer, the two blasting each other with simultaneous kicks before going into a big time strike exchange that saw Nomura get the better of Archer after a stiff right palm strike and a Roundhouse Kick that managed to daze the Frenchman so bad that he had to immediately tag out to the masked monster that is Super Crafter U. Crafter tagged in and went right to work going after Nomura with a Yakuza kick and several hard shots, Nomura trying to cover up as best he can but a trio of hard kicks and a big German Suplex dumped Nomura straight on his head! Crafter tried to stay on Nomura with his constant vicious offense but Nomura was luckily able to tag out to Takaiwa, who met the monster with a big Lariat! Takaiwa and Crafter began to lay into each other with hard forearms and leg kicks, the two just kept going at each other, even starting to exchange shoot headbutts and closed fist punches until the referee had to try and pry them apart, and even that didn't work as the two tagged out so they could continue to brawl on the outside of the ring! Pandemonium would quickly ensue as all six men soon began to fight and brawl all over the arena, GENTARO and Yano trying to practically rip each others heads off while Takaiwa and Crafter brawled through the crowd and Nomura fought with Archer in the middle of the ring, with the finish coming suddenly and impacfully as Archer went for another big Discus Lariat only for Nomura to counter with a Dragon Suplex that got the quick 3 count victory!
Post-Match: GENTARO and Yano continued to brawl with each other until both their teams had to separate them from each other, with GENTARO taunting Yano about how his Tribe suffered so much defeat tonight, but Yano would quickly retort that it wouldn't be the case next time and that the next time they square off it will indeed be for the CTL World Openweight Championship! GENTARO however wanted to raise the stakes to finally see what man would prove to be the better competitor, wanting to make the match 2 OUT OF 3 FALLS! Yano accepted immediately and the fight was on as the two teams once again got into a massive brawl, with the fight getting even bigger with the arrival of Fuminori Abe and Taro Yamada from the back, still trying to kill each other from their previous match, if anything's clear from this show tonight, the landscape of CTL is getting HOT!
