WEEK 1, JULY, 1994 The first RAW of July 1994 opens with Vince McMahon saying we’ll find out who the new RAW Commissioner will be. Randy Savage, snapping into a couple of Slim Jim’s, has been excited for the reveal of the new Commissioner since last month, while Jerry Lawler declares that whoever the new commissioner will be, they’ll need to bow down to his feet. Also tonight: WWF Champion Bret Hart defends his title against “Double J” Jeff Jarrett!Gorilla Monsoon opens the show. He announces to the fans that Jack Tunney has retired from being WWF Presidency, and has elected a new WWF Commissioner. Monsoon introduces the new WWF Commissioner...”The Hulk” Lou Ferrigno!
Ferrigno welcomes everyone to the new WWF! He promises that he’ll be tougher, stricter, and meaner than Jack Tunney was. Anyone who crosses him will have to go through him; after all, you wouldn’t want to make him angry! Lex Luger & Tatanka vs. IRS & Nikolai Volkoff vs. Ted DiBiase walks down to the ring at the start of the match. Luger and Tatanka barely break a sweat against IRS and “Nickles and Cents” Nikolai Volkoff, both of whom are easily the lowest-rung members of the Million Dollar Corporation. Volkoff rallies up...but gets tripped on “accident” by Ted DiBiase. Luger’s unaware of the interference...Running Forearm! 1-2-3! After the match, Ted DiBiase slides into the ring to congratulate Luger on winning the match, offering him a spot in the Million Dollar Corporation. Double his contract? No, Luger’s worth 10 times his contract. That’s how much Ted DiBiase wants him. Luger is tempted, but is tempted harder by the hearts of the hard-working Americans. Tatanka asks “What’s wrong with you, Luger? Why are you being tempted by the greed of Ted DiBiase?!” Luger...doesn’t know what to say. Shawn Michaels hosts the Heartbreak Hotel, accompanied by his bodyguard and Intercontinental Champion, Diesel. His guest tonight? None other than Diesel, who is pissed off at Bret Hart. Diesel doesn’t give a damn about Hart’s family problems, he wants a rematch! Same deal as last time: Bret puts his title on the line, Diesel doesn’t. “Bret, you kept your title on a fluke! I had you beat, Bret, at King of the Ring, and at In Your House, I’m going to get your title!” Men on a Mission vs. Well Dunn vs. Mabel and Mo are massive, and Well Dunn has no way to get around the size difference. Mabel especially, as he’s able to bounce around to another victory with a big splash. WWF Women’s Champion Alundra Blayze gives an interview. She’s beaten some of the toughest females in the WWF, and is looking for some more competition! Johnny Polo debuts in the ring soon! WWF World Heayvweight Championship match: Bret Hart (c) vs. Jeff Jarrett vs. Bret Hart is worse for the wear, still recovering from his match with Diesel at King of the Ring. Jarrett uses his chance to beat down Bret with some of his greatest hits, strutting like a country star in the process. Ain’t he great? Double J’s getting ready to put on the Double F Double L (Figure Four Leg Lock)...but Bret Hart fights out of it! Manhattan Drop! Russian Legsweep! Backbreaker! Second rope Elbow Drop! Jerry Lawler sees Jeff Jarrett in trouble, and storms out of the commentary desk! Lou Ferrigno storms down the ring, and lifts Lawler high above his head before Lawler can do anything! Bret’s distracted, however, and Jarrett tries to roll-up Bret! 1...2...Bret reverses...1...2...3! Bret Hart wins! After the match, the Hart Foundation (Owen Hart and Jim Neidhart) storm the ring, putting the boots on Bret Hart, with an assist from Jeff Jarrett. Lou Ferrigno and Lawler are still fighting! The 1-2-3 Kid rushes to the ring, Randy Savage jumps out of the commentary desk and helps out Hart and Kid. Pandemonium is both in the ring and out of the ring as the show comes to a close!

(C-) Diesel def. Doink the Clown (C) Diesel and HBK tell Razor not to bother (B) Crush def. Typhoon (C-)
I’ve played through the game up until Survivor Series so I won’t remember exactly what happens in terms of signings, backstage incidents, or other such events, so expect stuff like that to be fairly rare, if ever (though then again it’d be preferable than having every show say “JC Ice got caught wrestling high, I fined him”...and that’s not as much of an exaggeration as you’d think.)
Unlike real life, The British Bulldog will not be joining the feud with the Harts, as he got signed to WCW in the span of a week, so there’s that. And, as alluded to in my first post, I’ve dropped a couple of storylines (Adam Bomb vs. Kwang, Jacques vs. Pierre)...largely because I forgot about those storylines when booking. I hope no-one minds not seeing Adam Bomb taking on Kwang.
NEXT WEEK ON RAW
Diesel vs. 1-2-3 Kid Duke Droese vs. Crush Men on a Mission vs. and Jerry Lawler vs. Koko B. Ware

WEEK 2, JULY, 1994Lou Ferrigno opens the show talking about last week’s main event match, with Jerry Lawler attempting to interfere, and Ferrigno preventing him from doing so. Lawler made Ferrigno angry, so at In Your House, Lawler will take on Lou Ferrigno himself! Lawler, on commentary, is beside himself. Crush vs. Duke "The Dumpster" Droese
vs. Crush promised to “Crush the Competition” on Superstars last week, and he crushes “The Dumpster” easily, throwing him around like a garbage bag before crushing his head in with the Cranium Crunch. Who can stop Crush? Alundra Blayze comes out to the ring, looking for a challenge. The debuting Ivory comes out! “You’re looking for a challenge, Alundra? Why don’t you face off against me, and put your title on the line!” On Superstars, it will be Alundra Blayze taking on Ivory for the WWF Women's Championship! vs. Men on a Mission vs. Bay Ragni & Blue Meanie
Another easy win for Men on a Mission, this time against two local talent. The result here is almost as elementary as the finish, with Mabel flattening the Blue Meanie with a big splash! They’re on a roll in the WWF! The tag division is on notice, especially the WWF Tag Team Champions, The Headshrinkers. Johnny Polo debuts in the ring soon! vs. Jerry Lawler vs. Koko B. Ware
Koko brings out his macaw, Frankie, for his match against Jerry “The King” Lawler. Lawler, still ticked off about his upcoming match with Lou Ferrigno seems to make short work of Koko, flexing his muscles, “hulking up” and hitting the Leg Drop; an unusual move for Lawler to finish matches with. Once again, its the IC champion, Diesel, getting the spotlight at the Heartbreak Hotel. Diesel repeats himself, demanding that he gets a rematch for the WWF Championship, and he needs it accepted by Bret Hart by tonight, or heads will start rollin’. "Neidhart better not save his brother-in-law like he did at King of The Ring, or we’ll be seeing the hearts of the Hart family ripped out! It'd be a shame if Owen Hart wouldn't be able to beat Bret Hart at Summerslam, because Owen hasn't got a chance against Big Daddy Cool!" vs. Diesel vs. 1-2-3 Kid
Our main event match of the show; Diesel takes on the 1-2-3 Kid. The Kid uses his speed to outmanoeuvre the bigger Diesel at first, peppering the bigger man with rapid-fire kicks. It’s only when Diesel’s powerful fists land against the plucky 1-2-3 Kid does Diesel retain control of the match. A Jacknife powerbomb attempt by Diesel is countered into a Victory Roll by the 1-2-3 Kid, which scores him a very, very close two count. Upset that 1-2-3 Kid almost scored an upset, Diesel takes things to another gear. A second attempt at the Jacknife Powerbomb proves successful, and Diesel scores the 1-2-3 count. Still upset at The 1-2-3 Kid almost getting a huge upset, Diesel prepares to give the 1-2-3 Kid another Jacknife! Out comes Bret Hart with a microphone! “Diesel, you’re right. I should have lost the WWF Championship to you, if not for Neidhart interfering! But, your boy-toy Shawn Michaels interfered in our match too, Diesel! You want a rematch for my title? At In Your House, you’re getting your rematch! Can you do it twice in a row, and beat 'The Best There Is, The Best There Was, and The Best There Ever Will Be?' I look forward to seeing you try!”

WWF MONDAY NIGHT RAW (B-)
Ferrigno makes Ferrigno v. Lawler for IYH (B+) Crush def. Duke Droese (C) Alunda Blayze seeks a challenge, Ivory Responds (D) MOM def. Local Talent (D) Johnny Polo debuts soon! (C-) Lawler def. Koko B. Ware (C) Heartbreak Hotel (B) Diesel def. 123 Kid (C+) Bret Hart makes Hart vs. Diesel II (B-) WWF SUPERSTARS (C+)
RAW RECAP (B) PG-13 def. Bushwhackers (D+) PG-13 Promo (C-) Ted DiBiase shows off Undertaker, Paul Bearer says otherwise (C+) Alundra Blayze def. Ivory (D-) Alundra beaten down by Reggie Bennett (E+) Johnny Polo debuts soon (D) Tatanka def. Nikolai Volkoff (C+) Owen Hart is annoyed Bret gave his shot to Diesel (B-) Lex Luger def. IRS (C+) Ted DiBiase sweet talks Luger (B-)
Pleasantly surprised to see people liking, following, and predicting. I probably tripped some people up by having the ??? guys be ???, to assume that they're some legendary tag team, I'll...make sure to make it clearer next time.
I hired a bunch of talent, some who we’ll already be seeing. I did the newbie TEW mistake of going on a hiring spree to bolster my womens/tag divisions. Ivory and Reggie Bennett made their debuts this week, while I’ve hired a few more wrestlers such as Bull Nakano, Jacqueline, and Chaparita ASARI to bolster the women’s divison (WWF starts off with only two wrestlers in their women’s division, which is...not exactly a lot).
PG-13 was also hired, as well as one other mystery tag team (not Meanie/Bay), which should bolster the tag team division’s undercard and uppercard respectively. A couple of main eventers were also hired, who...won’t be seen for a while on TV/PPV.
NEXT WEEK ON RAW
Rock ‘n’ Roll Express vs. Mike Sharpe/Black Phantom Non-Title Match: The Headshrinkers vs. Bastion Booger/Brooklyn Brawler Lex Luger and Tatanka vs. Steven Dunn/Tom Prichard Bret Hart/Razor Ramon vs. Diesel/HBK
