BREAKING: WWF WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION BRET HART WALKS OUT, IS FIRED BY THE COMPANY, OTHER WRESTLERS FOLLOW SUIT
The November 9th episode of Raw on MTV would be the last time we will ever see Bret Hart in a WWF ring. The night before Survivor Series, Bret Hart would unexpectedly walk out of the company while still holding the World Heavyweight Title. The reason for the walkout as of now is very unclear, but the main speculation has to do with the planned result of the Main Event match at Survivor Series between Bret Hart and Shawn Michaels. The plan was that Bret Hart was supposed to lose the title in his hometown through a shocking swerve finish, while Bret wasn't against losing in his hometown, what he was against was the events afterword, as according to Creative leader Paul Heyman, there was supposed to be a massive double turn, as Bret would turn Heel and Shawn would turn face. The means of this was for Bret to turn on his family and friends in The Hart Foundation, and then burn the Canadian flag in front of the Montreal audience. Bret violently refused to do this but was essentially told by Heyman and management that if he didn't do it that he would be shot down to the very bottom of the card and would never hold the World Championship again, Bret, in protest, walked out a second time, allegedly throwing the World Championship down to the floor before leaving the building. This walk out has left the main event of Survivor Series in jeopardy. What will be the backup plans according to Paul Heyman? We'll have to see. In Protest, Jim Neidhart, The British Bulldog, and Royce Gracie have also departed the company.

On an episode of Raw on MTV, Jim Cornette would have his usual rant fest on the state of wrestling take a turn that targets the WWF, he claims that the WWF doesn't care about real wrestling, and that real wrestling has become a dying art. He claims that the WWF World Heavyweight title is nothing but a toy that anyone can win, and come soon, he's gonna bring in a REAL wrestler with a REAL world title.
