BREAKING: PAUL HEYMAN VACATES THE WWF WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP FOLLOWING CONTROVERSIAL FINISH
At The Judgment Day PPV, Ken Shamrock defeated "Stone Cold" Steve Austin to win the WWF World Heavyweight Championship. However, the next night on Raw, Paul Heyman would analyze the finish as the referee completely ignored Stone Cold's shoulder being on the mat, however, instead of Heyman giving the title back to Austin, he makes the announcement that the 2nd ever "Deadly Games" tournament will take place next month and the winner will be crowned the brand new World Heavyweight Champion.
