In week 2 we boosted the defence team, by signing quality blitzer Michael Slaythem and trading for safety Swirvin Maimes. Focusing on strengthen the defence.

Can Killadelphia Evils pick up their first win against Cardinal Sins?
Both teams are tipped to house on the lower half of the table.

Michael Slaythem was the major free agent signing of week 2 to strengthen the defence.
I've also focused on trying to develope the skills (speed, toughness...) on some young wide receivers, quarterbacks and cover backs.
I used the trade option to trade for up-and-coming "safety" Swirwin Maimes from Los Scandalous Volts. So for defense we now have a valuable blitzer, line bash and safety, while trying to develope our own cover backs.
The offense is the real weakness, with running back Grimm Brown as the MVP together with legendary kicker Mortician Slanderson.

Cardinal Sins is one of the weaker teams, so it was disappointing that we lost this one. Kicker Mortician Slanderson showed the fans that he is a MVP and scored several times. We also managed to score some touchdowns despite focusing on rebuilding the defense first. Cardinal Sins managed to use several dirty tricks so we lost a lot of our touchdowns and goal kicks, resulting in a big loss on paper.

In week 3 we signed the bruiser bot guard Spike Whompster. So the young offense is being built around Whompster and allstar running back Grimm Brown. Obviously the current quarterbacks and wide receivers are taking a lot of punishment during the games and the goal is to sign atleast one quality quarterback before the trade deadline. The plan is also to sign a bruise receiver and another guard, and then develope our own talents. The wide receivers are being killed, but they still get some valuable XP so they improve a lot.
We used the trade option for the punter Mitch Knowitallsky, since punters is pretty cheap and it's cheaper to buy one than to develope your own.

The Tyrants are funded by Brawl Street stock brokers and are well financed. They are led by their All-Star Quarterback, Steeleye Maiming and superstar receiver, O'Hell Wreckem Jr. who is taking the league by storm. The offense has no running game to speak of because of an offense line that avoids contact. On defense, the Tyrants have some hard hitting talent but are an under-performing unit.
This is an important game as Killadelphia Evils, New Yuck Tyrants and Cardinal Sins forms the International Division of the Mutant Conference.

This just makes me so freakin frustrated. The loss is a result of a combination of lack of depth and Tyrants have some of the most effective "dirty tactics" in the league. In my next dynasty I'm gonna pick a team with better "dirty tactics".

Randall Gummyman is one of the major free agents available and the Killadelphia Evils offense will be built around him. Since the QB often is a primary target to eliminate, the plan is to not grab a legendary quarterback such as Nuke Dukem, but to instead have two quality quarterbacks and then three decent reserve quarterbacks.
We used the trade option to get bruise receiver Swirve Sith Jr.
