1980 The Big Bang and 1983 The War to Settle The Score are not to be abandonware for I am developing new mods for TEW 2020. I am working on new mod that have not officially announced, but I am working on it, before these are finished.

1984:The Golden Age and Beyond
It is very interesting year. WWF is about to kick off their expansion. Iron Sheik is the World Champion. Hulk Hogan is the new figurehead. WWF has three shows on the air. WWF Superstars of Wrestling, WWF Wrestling Challenge, and WWF All-American Wrestling. Plus they will have monthly events that will air on USA Network.

Sitting at 13 companies right now. Reworking Broadcasters and Broadcasting deals. Because I had the 1980 broadcasters in and everybody was signing deals all over the place. So I stripped that out and added Asa's Broadcaster Database to the mod. I am also adding Broadcasters to the database to make it more realistic to the times. Though as I stated before this is using 1984 as the time period, but I am taking creative liberties with everything. For example Jim Crocket has 9 tv deals to start the mod. They have two tv shows to start the game Mid-Atlantic and World Wide. Deals are in South East, Mid-Atlantic, Tri-State, Great Lakes. Plus a Close Circuit deal to show events.

Alv, I have been working bit by bit with Mammoth's 1970, and adding in the early 80s 2016 mods while also adding in jobbers, companies, broadcasters, events and such. Do you or be the booker have a discord? I can send my Db and you can pick it apart if you want. I really want a good 1980 and 1985 mod for 2020!!

I have decided to switch things up a little bit. I have added over 502 move sets so far into the mod. The move sets and moves are made from scratch. My goal is every worker who is active wrestler will have a moveset. Even if that means AJ Styles who won't debut until the 90's. One thing I have always had a problem with is future workers like CM Punk not having a moveset for them in the mod.
News I am using Asa's venue and location database. Though I will be altering it, so instead of OR MacArthur Court, the venue will be just MacArthur Court.

Japan is interesting because you can do tours, but my only complaint on that is touring contracts were removed. |
