Raw Report BRET HART: A FIGHTING CHAMPION
On the Monday Night RAW episode following WrestleMania X, Bret Hart came out to the ring, talking about his role as the leader for the New Generation. He specified that he wants to be seen as a righteous man, and therefore he is ready to give opportunities to who deserves them, and he is ready to defend the WWF Title... starting from tonight! Lex Luger came out alongside Bob Backlund, going face to face with the man who "stole" his moment. Luger told Bret that their match belongs on a PPV, and stated that one day, he will challenge him to a clean fight. Then, the 1-2-3 Kid came out, challenging the champion to honor his word, and "The Hitman" did so, hyping up 1-2-3 Kid as an incredible talent.
Therefore, in the Main Event, 1-2-3 Kid gave the performance of his career thus far, coming short of winning the gold, when Hart submitted him with the Sharpshooter in 14:23. After the match, the two respectfully shook hands, with Hart even raising Kid's arm up in the air.

MATCH NOTES
- After his victory, Kid cut a passionate promo, saying that his goal is to challenge once again for the WWF Title, and to finally win it!
- Diesel costed Luger the match, taking advantage of a ref bump and hitting the All American with a Jackknife Powerbomb. After the bout ended, Luger argued with Backlund, making him accountable for his loss, since he did nothing to stop Diesel.
- Later, Luger interfered in Diesel vs Savage, fending Micheals away and allowing Savage to pin Diesel with a School-Boy.
- Bigelow laid Undertaker out of the ring after crushing him against the barricade. The Deadman wasn't able to get back in the ring before the 10 Count. Raw Report THE UNDERTAKER SIDELINED?
After their Qualifying Match, Bigelow, following instructions from Vachon, added insult to injury by beating up a senseless Undertaker. Bigelow climbed the turnbuckle, and delivered 3 consecutive Moonsaults, leaving The Phenom unconscious in the middle of the ring. Security came out to escort Bigelow out of the building, while the medical staff rushed out, putting Taker on a stretcher, under the look of a shocked Paul Bearer. We've never seen The Undertaker like this...

Raw Report BRET HART VS BOB BACKLUND AT KING OF THE RING!
On Monday Night Raw, Bob Backlund challenged Bret Hart to a title match at King Of The Ring. The “All-American” said the following: “I see you got a big belt on your shoulder. And on the other shoulder, you have an even bigger chip. And it’s time that someone like me knocks that chip off. I respect you, Bret, but I don’t buy you as the face of the World Wrestling Federation. To be the leader of this ‘new generation’, you have to prove something to the older one. You have to be better than the men who paved the way for you. You have to be better than me. Or else, I will just take your championship away from you.” The two then shook their hands, confirming that we will see a competitive and clean bout, despite the rising tension between the champion and the challenger.
