"NXT is going to be going through major changes. While Shawn Michaels will remain in charge of NXT going forward, WWE has made the efforts to consider NXT as a separate entity, even to the point of having it be a company on it's own without the control of the main roster. Many sources around WWE have stated that this change was because of the increased interest by both TV networks and fans in NXT, and with the new deal with The CW coming in 2025, the best way to make it attractive is to treat it as if it's own thing separate from the main WWE. NXT has been given the money and the resources to be more independent, while still acting sort of a developmental (most of this through the LVL UP show, which will still air on Peacock/WWE Network for the time being), it will act as it's own wrestling company. The roster will be going through some slight modifications, as most of the main NXT roster and a good chunk of Performance Center talents will still remain with the company, and Shawn Michaels has the ability to use any Main Roster talents he pleases going forward. Along with that, it has been supported by other sources outside of WWE that NXT is planning on working together with Sendai Girls, All Japan Pro Wrestling, and Act'Wres Girlz apart of some new talent agreements."
"Along with this, a big resigning to the company has been made, as Zachary Wentz has been resigned to NXT, and will be going back under his NXT name Nash Carter. Along with this, NXT has signed promising Independent wrestler Kidd Bandit, who will be going under a completely different name as suggested internally by NXT creative."
"Since NXT is now separate from WWE, it has a lot more freedom when it comes to future working agreements. Shawn Michaels has been interested in working with other companies in the future."
