Wiggle It Retromania Monday Quote of the Week Question of the Week
1) Wiggle It ****************** Well all riiiiiiiiight
We’re back to developing and completing the engine upgrade after killing THE BUG and the first order of business is the CAW and brand new Ring Editor. These features are critical because they need to operate on a future proof foundation of a well organized database that can grow and evolve without the need to burn it all down and start over because we might forget detail here or there. Case in point, we have a ton of new ring possibilities coming to you when the new ring editor is added. Shitty little indie rings, barbwire massacre options, all the way to fully animated LED WWE PPV style aprons. However, it became clear that the old rope animations would no longer suffice so our lead arteeeest spent all day Sunday animating new rope shakes to be triggered by various bumps, vertical separating to entering and exiting, irish whipping, etc. And it seems we’re going to have to get creative when it comes to how different materials are used, different number of ropes for MMA options, etc. Like, when it’s a 4 rope MMA ring maybe everyone can enter/exit by rolling under bottom rope? And for barbwire ropes WTF are people gonna need for interactivity with those bad boys? All I know for 100% certain is this is my job and I wouldn’t change it for the world
2) RetroMania Thursday ************* Whoopsie daisy! Our podcast recording with Michael, the producer of RetroMania Wrestling, has been rescheduled for this upcoming Thursday. Good news for all of you who still want to submit questions to me that you’d like him to answer. So, fire away in the comments if there is anything about the game you like me to ask him. Thanks!
3) Quote of the Week ************* “Stop focusing on dumb shit. Don’t be afraid to break things. Don’t be romantic. Don’t take the time to breathe. Don’t aim for perfect. And whatever you do, keep moving. Reread this a few times . . .” -Gary Vaynerchuk,
4) Question of the Week *****************
So I’ve got Mike from RetroMania booked for an interview, I’m going to ask Dave Horn from Action Arcade Wrestling to do an episode with me after the holidays, and Mat Dickie has said he’s totally down for another one as well. Any suggestions for future guests? I like a good challenge

The Ring 2 Quote of the Week Question of the Week
1)The Ring 2 ****************** Finally all of the art and animation done over the last few years to upgrade our old ring editor has been getting put to use! Sounds like the CAW has been ported over to the new engine (re-written from scratch to be honest) and we’re moving on to the new ring editor. Funny, I was just talking with someone about how something has to be imagined before it can be made real and not an hour later I see our lead artist posted an old mock up he did envisioning the different options he’d like to make happen in our dream ring editor. Funny enough, when you see the new ring editor in action you’ll see more options than even the wishlist image originally had. Image attached to this post
2) Quote of the Week **************** “You’ve got to think about big things while you’re doing small things so that all the small things go in the right direction.” Alvin Toffler
3) Question of the Week ***************** Nothing in the wrestling business seems to happen without a plan, even a bad plan. So is the recent crossover between AEW and IMPACT a sign that one is about to acquire the other? If so, who do you think is buying who?
In the meantime and in between time, that's it, another edition of Wrestling Gamers United.

New Year **** Fear Help a Family Member? Quote of the Week
New Year **** Fear ****************** Oooooh baby welcome to 2021! Just got a new update from our lead programmer that includes the Championship Mode, new Ring editor options, new CAW options, and new unique moves per wrestler.
Major thanks to the PWX lead programmer and arist, Burning Devil and Mr Rasslin X, respectively, for giving this update love of everything from bandanas and animated ring mats to all new gameplay code. I am the most grateful bastard alive

Coming Undone A.D.I.D.A.S. Freak On A Leash Quote of the Week
Coming Undone ******************
2) A.D.I.D.A.S. **************** One of the things our lead programmer, Burning Devil, added back to the CAW recently was the ability to play with all new moveslots. And thanks to a certain PWX supporter's insanely good idea about randomizing variations of the same move we're planning on giving you guys something very cool to play with. So for instance, you like making a suplex machines? Instead of filling up each moveslot with different suplexes and having little room for anything else, how about having just one slot for 'suplex' and deciding which suplexes variations are randomly executed when you hit that move? I can't stop thinking about how deep you could go with this concept and all of the different suplexes you could have available in just one slot. Pinning, stalling, releasing, etc. I'm dreaming of a Suplex City
3) Freak On a Leash *********************
Question for ya about future match types. We've been talking about a Dog Collar match and it's variations (Russian Chain match, Yappapi Indian Strap match, Samoan strap match, Texas Bullrope match, Country Whipping Match, etc.) but we want to ask you guys where you would place such a match on a priority list of the other match types we plan to add in the future. Such a match would be unique and cool, fo sho, but shouldn't a Ladder Match come first? Inferno Match? Weasel Suit Match? Where would you place such a match type, roughly speaking, in the giant scheme of things?
Another Pro Wrestling X update

Bug or Feature! You decide!
Another happy accident testing our latest internal development build showed us that weapons aren't being automatically dropped when you grapple some like they should. Or should they? Because sometimes the results, while looking a little janky, kinda make me wonder. Even our lead artist, Mr Rasslin X, pointed out that this Steel Chair Leg Sweep could be kinda bad ass! What do you think?

Makin’ A Mess I Remember You 18 And Life
1) Makin’ A Mess ******************
We have some clean up to do. After spending some time with the recent build and testing it before releasing it to Patreon we came to realize we added crap-ton if stuff back into the game and forward into the recent engine. Adding the CAW back and rewriting it to better support body types and muscle definition also unearthed some scaling, texture, and normal mapping little bugs. What I’d like to do is set up a live stream and walk y’all through it so you can see first hand where we are and where we’re going. Stay tuned...
2) I Remember You ****************
A while back we needed a few extra wrestlers added to the game to fill out the roster using the new CAW assets. So, our lead programmer, Burning Devil, went hard and threw some new wrestlers together using existing CAW assets. And on that day, new classics like Quick Dose and Riot were born. Never one to pass up an opportunity to re-imagine PWX assets and polish them up real gooooooood, lead artist Mr Rasslin X kidnapped Riot and gave him an Extreme Makeover. He looks sick. Stay tuned for Riot’s re-introduction later this week. Bus driver! MOOOOOVE THAT BUS!
3) 18 And Life ***********
So, we have no plan to have Pro Wrestling X rated by ESRB. **** it. Since we’re publishing it ourselves via Steam (at first) and have retained 100% creative control, we have no reason or desire to ‘clean it up’ and purposefully go after that brave and boundary pushing 6-12 year old demographic. Thank. F’n. God. If it were to be reviewed by the ESRB (and based on existing plans for story mode, match types, language, etc) I’m sure we’d end up with an M or AO rating at the end of the day.
