AsaemonFrank ReedWhat gimmick matches would you use in an old school WWWF promotion?I am thinking the following... Cage - No escape - Submission only Chain Falls Count Anywhere No DQ First Blood Last Man Standing Lumberjack Submission I do not know if these, besides a cage match, would work with the product but I wanted to put it out there for other ideas.

Those matches should work. Also some match series matches. Best of 3 matches, Best of 5 matches etc.

I think I would use these. Just maybe the First Blood would be too much in an old-school promotion. Also 2 out of 3 Falls Match will work. Arm Wrestling Match can also be fun if you put your powerhouse talents into feud.

The year is 1994 and Ted Dibiase has joined All-Japan Pro Wrestling. He is 40 years old but seems to not be slowing down. Hulk Hogan is also on the AJPW roster along with Stan Hansen, Terry Gordy, Steve Williams, The British Bulldogs, The Patriot, The Eagle, and Eddie Guerrero. Oh! The Steiner Bros. too! What should Ted Dibiase be doing on this roster? Wrestler? Manager? I am leaning towards a feud with Hulk Hogan. This is still the AJPW of 1994 with the Four Pillars, along with Jumbo Tsuruta. There is a lot of top talent.

What product would go best with a promotion called Grand Prix Wrestling? Maybe one of the traditional products.

Seeking booking advice...I am starting my Gran Prix Wrestling promotion with the K-1 tournament and I have an all-star group of participants. Since I am just starting this GPW save and my first show will have the preliminary matches, how do I come to terms with letting popular "major stars" lose? How can I recover their momentum after they are booked to lose their first match?Just looking for some advice for this. I'm sure if I can sit down with the game long enough I can figure it out. I just really dislike jobbing out "major stars" in their first matches. I also do not want lesser talent be involved in the tournament. IDEA! I could always use lesser talent in the preliminary matches against the 6 I want to move forward. Then I can do a double-elimination tournament for the 6 that lose for a secondary championship. Asaemon Frank Reed marc91 Mike Haggar

For the 1st tournament I suggest loan as many popular workers that you can. A alliance and working agreements will be helpful.
What you want to do is to establish your stars, so the ideal is that the two workers you mostly want to build are facing each other in the final.
