~The Gathering 29/08/24~ This week on The Gathering, we see the House Of Wrestling Women's World Championship have it's first defence as Athena put the title on the line against her rival Bea Priestley. Our World Champion PAC will also see action against the intimidating Krule and we will see Daniel Garcia and Lio Rush in tag team action as they try to bounce back from last week's loss alongside Ricochet.
Lio Rush & Daniel Garcia Vs. Alex Zayne & Blake Christian Winner: Daniel Garcia (Wins via Submission over Blake Christian) ★★★★
The Lucha Brothers are interviewed backstage as it is revealed they were watching the last match. They say they are looking for a fight for the upcoming show Respectfully Violent.
PAC Vs. Krule Winner: PAC (Wins via Pinfall) Following PAC's victory, the arena lights are lowered. Malakai black shows on the screen. "The House is like a hydra. You may cut off one head PAC, but it will come back twice as strong and bare it's teeth again. Perhaps you survived your encounter with Mr. King but you can't stop the inevitable. See this is our house, though we may not wear the crown we will rule." Malakai Black steps back into the shadows as PAC walks up the ramp in search of him.
Still on the screen Julia Hart steps into the spotlight. "We see you Kay Lee. Maybe we should see you at Respectfully Violent and see if you can get the job done when it counts?" Julia sniggers and retreats back into the darkness.
Raychell Rose Vs. Kay Lee Ray Winner: Kay Lee Ray (Wins via Pinfall)
Masha Slamovich Vs. Ava Everett Winner: Masha Slamovich (Wins via Pinfall)
Ricochet Walks out to the ring and offers Rush a singles match for next week as a chance for him to prove he can win on an equal playing field, without using underhanded tactics from his team mates.
House Of Wrestling Women's World Championship Match Athena(c) Vs. Bea Priestley Winner: Athena (Wins via Disqualification of Bea Priestley) During a very competitive match, Bea Priestley appears to be overtaken by rage as she has Athena down on the mat. Priestley rolls out of the ring as the referee checks on Athena, who is lying still dead centre of the mat. Priestley searches under the ring and retrieves a steel chair that she carries on her return to the ring. The referee immediately sees the illegal weapon in Priestley's possession but she threatens the referee, causing them to back off and warn her from a distance that she will be disqualified if she uses such a weapon.
Priestley lays the chair under the head of Athena and lifts her head up with with her own foot. Athena is devastated by a brutal curb stomp onto the chair and lays lifeless in the ring. Security and Billie Starkz run to the ring to pull her away from Athena as the referee calls off the match.
Producer and Women's Division coordinator, Amy Dumas walks out on stage as a stretcher it taken to the ring. "This match is officially a DQ and Athena will retain her title! Bea Priestley..." Dumas is halted in her speech as Athena begins to move in the ring. "I want her again! I'm not done." Athena screams as she tries to break free from the officials giving her medical attention. Amy Dumas listens to something through her headset and looks shocked as she continues to speak. "CEO Talon Hayes has said that this match will not continue but, if Athena wishes and is cleared to compete, we can have a rematch with no disqualifications." Dumas looks almost fearful as Athena frantically agrees to the terms offered while watching Priestley be dragged backstage by security staff.

Uh, even Krule is around, damn. It's cool that you're investing in some character development. I liked to see Bea getting DQd on purpose in a title match after getting the warning. That's character and that's what sells.
Will we have a Tag Team Championship soon? You have both male and female contenders.

~The Gathering 05/09/24~ With Respectfully Violent just one week away, this week's Gathering sees action from Malakai Black, Julia Hart, Miro & Billie Starkz. Our main event is the culmination of a rivalry between Ricochet and La Faccion Ingobernables as we finally see him take on Rush for the first time in singles competition.
As the show starts, Death Triangle make their entrance to the ring. Penta El Zero Miedo grabs a microphone as they all stand in the centre of the ring. "Our friend PAC has something to say, but first. Lio, Daniel we challenge you. Next week, you bring respect because we will bring... Violence." A brooding PAC takes hold of the mic from Penta. "Black!" He pauses to chuckle before continuing. "You can send as many heads as you want to try to bite me son. You don't scare me little boy. If you want my crown then I DARE you to try and take it from me next Sunday!" PAC throws the mic to the ground as their music begins to play but is quickly silenced as the lights go dark and Malakai Black appears on screen. "It's great that you are feeling confident PAC. However, don't let your pride misguide you into a false sense of security. Next week you better respect the house because you're going to find out. The house always wins."
Billie Starkz Vs. Raychell Rose Winner: Billie Starkz (Wins via Pinfall) A broken looking Athena accompanies Billie Starkz to the ring to stand in her corner as she gets a win over Raychell Rose. After the match Athena addresses the crowd. "I know everyone out here is looking at me so I thought I would be real honest with you. I'm hurt. Bea really did a number on me. She has been banned from coming tonight and more shows for, I don't know how long. But I have something to say to Hayes in the back..." Athena walks up to a camera and speaks directly down the lens. "You can lift that ban right now because I am NOT done with that bitch! I will do whatever it takes to get my hands on her and beat her properly so she knows she messed with the wrong woman. And I don't even care how many things she wants to hit me with, I will not allow my revenge to be taken from me for any reason. No disqualifications, no seconds, no interference just the two of us and my fist between your two eyes." Athena raises her title high as her music fills the arena and she makes her exit.
Miro Vs. Andrew Everett Winner: Miro (Wins via Submission) Following Miro making quick work of Andrew Everett, he shouts to the crowd. "Is that all there is here? Everyone is weak!" As Miro goes to leave the ring Brody King's music starts to play and he walks out to the ring. The two men get in each others faces on the ramp, each one trying to intimidate the other, before Miro walks past King and goes backstage.
Brody King raises his arm high as the arena goes dark and Julia Hart's music plays for her to make her entrance.
Ivelisse Vs. Julia Hart Winner: Julia Hart (Wins via Submission) The Unholy Union interrupt the matches celebration by making their way to the ring, Kay Lee Ray wielding a mic. "Ahh Julia, we are happy now. We can't wait for our little bust-up." The two come face to face with Julia Hart & Skye Blue. Hart & Blue look to take a step back as they are both blindsided by The Unholy Union and the two teams come to blows. After a short brawl Hart & Blue are grounded and look to be in trouble until the lights go out and the House Of Black's music plays. Kay Lee Ray and Stacy Coates turn around as the lights come back on to see Hart & Blue looking worse for wear at the top of the ramp as they are joined by the rest of their stablemates. Ray & Coates take this as a sign to make a swift exit through the crowd.
Malakai Black Vs. Bad Dude Tito Winner: Malakai Black (Wins via Pinfall) After Malakai Black secures his win PAC walks out onto the stage. "Finally you come out here with the lights on, where I can see you. Well next week there is no where left to hide Malakai. See you there."
Ricochet Vs. Rush Winner: Rush (Wins via Pinfall) ★★★★ Ricochet is outnumbered during the match as Rush has both Bandido and Dralistico in his corner. The two men do their best to cause trouble for Ricochet but he keeps his cool throughout the match and seems to have the upper hand on Rush despite the disadvantage.
As the match draws long and both men start to tire the two LFI members at ringside seem to make one last desperate attempt to distract the referee. Bandido grabs at the ref's leg as Rush has Ricochet down on the mat, causing the referee to take his eyes off the action and argue with the two on the apron. Bandido and Dralistico both get kicked out of ringside for the remainder of the match but this buys Rush a precious opportunity. During the distraction Rush pulls Ricochet out of the ring, retrieves a cable from the announcing desk and uses it to choke Ricochet before rolling his near lifeless body back into the ring. Ricochet barely manages to lift himself to sit in the corner and get some breath back before Rush hits him with the Bull's Horns and secures a pin.
After the match Rush is kept away from Ricochet by a confused referee as the ringside doctor checks on him. Ricochet has some help returning backstage but speaks through a microphone as he ascends the ramp. "That wasn't quite what I had planned Rush. I see you clearly don't respect a fair fight. Maybe we need to work something else out?"

Ricochet vs. Rush would always be fun, and the fact that we now kinda need a rematch is way better. Judging by Ricochet's proposal, maybe an extreme match is on the way.
Athena vs. Bea is getting interesting and I wonder what role will Billie play in all of that too.

I'll wait until the final Gathering before Respectfully Violent before I make my predictions. Anyway, the card looks very good and all the matches will surely deliver, Ricochet vs. Rush being my favorite, as we also await a stipulation (I think).

~The Gathering 12/09/24~ It's almost time for Respectfully Violent at the House Of Wrestling! On The Gathering this week we have a huge mixed tag team match in our main event and action from LFI, Bea Priestley & Lio Rush. We will also hear from Ricochet as he prepares to take on Rush this weekend.
Bandido & Dralistico Vs. Andrew Everett & Blake Christian Winner: Bandido (Wins via Pinfall over Black Christian) ★★★★
Ricochet speaks in an interview backstage with Charly Caruso. "I have been speaking with CEO Talon Hayes over the past week and he had an idea to keep our match even. Rush, you probably think I am scared of you. You are certainly a very violent man. But I am not scared and that is why I signed to put our match this weekend in a steel cage! It will just be me and you in there so your lackeys can't give you the numbered advantage yet again. Let's see who comes out on top."
Bea Priestley Vs. Ava Everett Winner: Bea Priestley (Wins via Pinfall) Bea Priestley is followed by a small security team as she makes her way to the ring for the match. She looks particularly dominant against the fearful Ava Everett as she displays extra aggression in each move. The match ultimately ends quickly with Bea Priestley landing a sudden curb stomp, allowing her to put away her opponent.
Whilst Priestley celebrates her win and the security team escort her out of ringside, Athena and Billie Starkz are shown watching a screen backstage. Athena still appears to be feeling worse for wear after her recent attack.
BoJack Vs. Alexander Hammerstone Winner: Alexander Hammerstone (Wins via Pinfall)
The camera cuts backstage were producer Amy Dumas is waiting to address the audience. "Hello fans of House Of Wrestling, I hope you are all excited for the amazing night of action we have planned for this Sunday. I am here because Talon Hayes has asked me to announce that at Respectfully Violent we will be seeing a new debut for House Of Wrestling. This will truly be a must see special event, so make sure you tune in on Amazon Video."
Lio Rush Vs. Alex Zayne Winner: Lio Rush (Wins via Pinfall) ★★★★
Malakai Black appears on screen in a dark room. "The time has almost come, for the Bastard to be felled. I hope your preparations are going well PAC, you will need it. It is now time for wrestling to turn black."
Charly Caruso looks very nervous as she interviews Rush and his assistant, Jose Garcia, backstage. "So it was announced earlier that you will now be wrestling Ricochet in a steel cage match, we just wanted to get your thoughts." She cautiously points the microphone at Rush before he snatches it off her. "Ricochet wants me in a cage? Bad move perro!"
4v4 Mixed Gender Tag Team Match Brody King, Buddy Matthews, Julia Hart & Skye Blue Vs. Penta El Zero Miedo, Rey Fenix, Kay Lee Ray & Stacy Coates Winner: Penta El Zero Miedo (Wins via Pinfall over Buddy Matthews) In this match we preview the upcoming tag team match between Julia Hart & Skye Blue and The Unholy Union. The House Of Black come in as the favourites due to their opponents teaming up for the first time. Despite of this the tag team mastery of the Lucha Brothers allows them to win the match for their team as Penta hits Buddy Matthews with a Fear Factor and gets a pin.
At the end of the show the announce team runs through the upcoming card for Respectfully Violent.
Julia Hart & Skye Blue Vs. The Unholy Union
Miro Vs. Brody King
Daniel Garcia & Lio Rush Vs. Lucha Brothers
Steel Cage Match Ricochet Vs. Rush
HoW Women's World Championship No Disqualification Match Athena(c) Vs. Bea Priestley

~Respectfully Violent 15/09/24~ The time has come for Respectfully Violent, only on Amazon Video! The second special live event from House Of Wrestling features World Championship action in both the Men's and Women's divisions and a heated steel cage match!
Julia Hart & Skye Blue Vs. The Unholy Union Winner: Julia Hart (Wins via Submission over Stacy Coates)
Miro Vs. Brody King Winner: Miro (Wins via Pinfall) Both menacing wrestlers have a hard hitting match as each man tries to prove his dominance. As both men's gas tanks begin to run dry, Miro attempts to submit Brody King with the Game Over but King manages to escape the hold against the odds. After visibly showing signs of shock, Miro rethinks his gameplan and continues the beat down on King. After a Russian Leg Sweep, the larger King returns to his knees before being hit by a devastating Machka Kick from Miro and being pinned.
Daniel Garcia & Lio Rush Vs. Lucha Brothers Winner: Penta El Zero Miedo (Wins via Pinfall over Daniel Garcia) ★★★★1/2 Garcia & Rush show their growing synergy as the relatively new tag team manage to hold their own against the well establish sibling team of the Lucha Brothers. However, ultimately the underdogs could not manage to claim victory and Lucha Brothers are the team who finish the match with their arms raised high.
After the match, cameras cut to backstage as Charly Caruso stands with a microphone. "I have been given the great pleasure to introduce the newest arrival in House Of Wrestling." Caruso steps back as Zack Gibson and James Drake walk into camera shot. "House Of Wrestling, if you have had your eyes closed I will tell you who we are. I am Liverpool's Number 1, Zack Gibson and this man here is James Drake and we are the Grizzled Young Veterans. Now, we aren't here to mess around so we got here tonight and walked right into Mr Hayes' office and had a little chat. Not only are we here to show you how we get shit done, we are also soon to be recognised as the very first House Of Wrestling World Tag Team Champions." Zack Gibson talks as Garcia & Rush and Lucha Brothers can be seen in the ring watching on the big screen.
Steel Cage Match Ricochet Vs. Rush Winner: Ricochet (Wins via Pinfall) ★★★★★ It's clear throughout the match that Rush has an advantage due to the Steel Cage stipulation, which he happily uses as he utilises the cage as a weapon to inflict pain on Ricochet. Both men are cut open through the match but while Ricochet seems drained, Rush is only more fired up as he dons a crimson mask.
As the match draws longer, Ricochet pulls off a miraculous Vertigo move on Rush but only gets a 2 count from his pin attempt. Whilst getting to his feet, Ricochet looks down to see Rush still on the mat and begins to climb the cage wall. Ricochet stands tall atop the cage and sets his target on the exhausted Rush before executing a Shooting Star Press allowing him to finally secure a pinfall and get the win over Rush he has been battling for for so long.
HoW Women's World Championship No Disqualification Match Athena(c) Vs. Bea Priestley Winner: Athena (Wins via Pinfall) After Athena enters the ring, cameras backstage capture a focused Bea Priestley being escorted towards her entrance by security staff. As her music hits, Priestley walks out onto the stage and stares down Athena in the ring before sprinting towards her as the two begin the match by brawling at ringside.
The two women both make liberal use of the No Disqualification ruleset as they bring out a large assortment of weapons during the match. Even the Women's World Championship title is involved as Bea Priestley sets Athena up, leaning over the title in position for a Curb Stomp. As Priestley basks in the anger of the crowd, Billie Starkz runs out to ringside to get Priestley's attention. Athena uses the distraction to roll out of the ring and regain her breath before Priestley notices and continues to attack her. Starkz remains at ringside to cheer on Athena but stays away from the action.
The end of the match comes as Athena, after weathering the storm of offence from Priestley and mounting a comeback, manages to hit an O-Face on Priestley in the ring. The finishing move brings victory for Athena as she retains the HoW Women's World Championship. Billie Starkz grabs the title belt and quickly runs over to check on Athena and keep Priestley at bay while she gets her energy back to leave the ring.
HoW World Championship Match PAC(c) Vs. Malakai Black Winner: Malakai Black (Wins via Pinfall) ★★★★★ PAC walks down to the ring alone, completely focused on the match ahead. Malakai Black approaches to the ring down a ramp lined with faceless people, draped in dark cloaks, as a thick fog fills the entranceway. The entrance would have intimidated any other opponent but PAC stands fearlessly in the centre of the ring as Black approaches.
The two put on an intense main event as both men give all of their energy as they try to walk out of the matchup as House Of Wrestling World Champion. The shocking climax of the action comes as Malakai Black hits PAC with The End and claims victory and the World Championship.
Following the match the rest of The House Of Black walk out to celebrate as Malakai grabs a microphone. "It has all happened as I said it would PAC. You have been bested and now The House stands tall. With this crown our rule will live on and we dare anyone to try to stop us."

GYV are a great addition to the tag team scene that is beginning to form. Also, they offer a relatively fresh match-up with virtually any other team of your roster, which is cool.
Yeap, Ricochet vs. Rush would not disappoint!
I think you surprised me by having Starkz maintain her alliance with Athena here. But I'm actually glad you chose to since you can build-up a break-up a bit longer.
I also thought PAC would retain, since HoW is a new thing and he's only been champion for some weeks. But Black makes a great champion and he has Brody to keep some challengers grounded.
