But when Disco turned his back, Konnan picked up the TV title belt Disco dropped and hit him in the back of the head with it knocking him out. Konnan locked an unconscious Disco in the Tequila Sunrise as Tammy came into the ring, pleading for Konnan to let him go.
Konnan did, but only to grab Tammy by the hair. She tried to retreat but fell to the ground. Konnan grabbed her leg and was about to put his hold on her, when someone jumped out over the rail from the crowd, entered the ring and began to attack Konnan. It was hard to recognize him at first, with a beard grown in and the hair a little darker, but it was Chris Candido!
Candido's attack caused Konnan to run off. With him gone, Candido, Tammy and a reviving Disco all just looked at each other with no one saying a word.

Hollywood Hogan Appreciation Night
The whole nWo came to the ring for Hollywood Hogan's appreciation night celebration. The members took turns giving praise to Hogan as he soaked it all in. Toward the end of the festivities, Hennig and Norton went to go get a gift out from under the ring. They pulled out a long, flat rectangular shaped gift, all wrapped up.
Nash explained that knowing Hogan has a new movie coming out, they took it upon themselves to do some marketing and having a big movie poster made. Hogan said he couldn’t be more flattered as he began to unwrap it. Only, it turns out it wasn't a movie poster, it was a promo poster for the Great American Bash that featured Hogan ... and Sting!
Hogan was livid asking everyone if this was some sick joke but the nWo members were all seemingly shocked as well. At that moment, Eric Bischoff came out from the back to make an announcement. He said he hoped no one mind he switched out the gifts. Because it is signed, sealed and delivered, at the Great American Bash it will be Hollywood Hogan defending the World Heavyweight Championship against Sting!!

Savage started saying he may have been wrong about DDP, there’s a lot to respect about him, especially his taste in women. He then pulled out a Playboy Page’s wife, Kimberly, posed in. Savage said the only way she’d look even better is if she was in nWo colors.
At that point, Kimberly gingerly walked out of the back, obviously the victim of a recent attack with her and her dress spraypainted “nWo.” As DDP went to comfort her, Savage ran over and attacked Page from behind.

Hollywood Hogan pinned “Sting” with the Big Leg Drop in 5:13.
Rating: * 1/4
(Hollywood Hogan retained the WCW WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT TITLE.)
From the moment he made his entrance, it was clear this was the imposter Sting the nWo has used in the past and not the real Sting. Hogan hit "Sting" one time and he dropped.
Hogan jumped on him punching away, choking him and finally hit his leg drop and pinned him. Hogan took a mic after the match saying this should prove, he's the better man. But then the real Sting came ziplining down from the rafters and pointed his baseball bat at Hogan, who couldn't pick up his title and leave the ring quick enough.
The fake sting was all alone with the real one, and the real Sting hit his doppelganger with a Scorpion Death Drop.
Card rating: ** 1/4
