Chris Benoit vs. Dean Malenko
In a rematch from WCW Saturday Night that had great wrestling and good heat, Chris Benoit drew with Dean Malenko in 15:00 when the time limit expired.
After the match, Benoit and Jericho show some tension between each other as they finish a second match in a time limit draw. Woman ends up stepping into the ring to convince Benoit to let it go as Benoit and Malenko continue to share words in the ring.
Alex Wright vs. Ultimo Dragon
In a poor match, Ultimo Dragon defeated Alex Wright in 6:07 by pinfall after a Bridging Dragon Suplex.
"The Ultimo Dragon looks primed for his Cruiserweight title match this Saturday at Hog Wild, Tony," states Mike Tenay.
"That’s right, Mike, and I’ve just been told that we’re also going to see Chris Benoit and Dean Malenko in a 2-out-of-3 falls match at Hog Wild."
"2-out-of-3 falls, Schiavone? These two just wrestled to 2 time limit draws. I hope you'll pack a lunch, we may be in Sturgis all weekend!" exclaims Heenan.
Harlem Heat vs. The Nasty Boys
In a bout that had good heat and decent wrestling, Harlem Heat defeated Nasty Boys in 5:55 when Booker T pinned Brian Knobbs with a Heat Seeker.
After an impressive victory, 'Mean' Gene Okerlund enters the ring with the WCW World Tag Team Champions, Harlem Heat.
"Gentlemen, last week, The Steiner Brothers issued a challenge for you two at Hog Wild this Saturday for the World Tag Team Championships."
"Mean Gene, The Steiner Brothers may be one of the best tag teams in the world, dawg. But The Harlem Heat are 6-time tag team champions. So you may be one of the best, but not the best." says Booker T.
"That's right, Gene. Ya see, The Harlem Heat are the best thing in tag team wrestling. Only a couple of suckas like The Steiner Brothers would say otherwise." adds Stevie Ray.
"Saturday in Sturgis, we're gonna show up and show out. Now can you dig that?!"
Arn Anderson vs. Brad Armstrong
In a bout that had great heat and good wrestling, Arn Anderson defeated Brad Armstrong in 13:19 by pinfall following a DDT.
After the match, a standing by 'Mean' Gene Okerlund is awaiting Arn Anderson at the ramp.
"Enforcer, if I can get a word. Last week, you had some words to say to 'Macho Man' Randy Savage, blaming him for the outcome of WCW Bash at the Beach a few weeks ago."
"Gene, it's as simple as it is true. You think someone as unstable as Randy Savage and the fact that he was in a match where his close friend Hogan is going to be involved in isn't just a chance of circumstance? The fact of the matter is, the Macho Man didn't give his all and if it were a Horseman in that match, it would have gone differently." Arn states.
"Well enforcer, these are strong words and I've been told that you will go one-on-one with the 'Macho Man' Randy Savage this weekend at Hog Wild" Mean Gene reveals.
"The Enforcer and the Macho man.." Arn says as he nods up and down while running his hand over his mouth and chin, then turns around and leaves the interview early.
Bobby Eaton vs. Eddy Guerrero
In a bout that had good heat and decent wrestling, Eddy Guerrero defeated Earl Robert Eaton in 8:06 by pinfall after a Frogsplash.
'Mean' Gene heads into the ring where Eddy Guerrero is standing by.
"Eddy Guerrero, last week, you made an on camera comment about going after the WCW United States Championship."
"Gene, Ric Flair is the greatest wrestler of all time. Given the chance, I am confident I can take his United States Championship!"
Before Mean Gene can respond, the crowd gets loud as Ric Flair is walking down the aisle into the ring.
"The Nature Boy Ric Flair!" Mean Gene exclaims to an eruption of the crowd.
"Did I hear someone call The Naaaaaaaature Boy...wooo...Ric Flair...the greatest wrestler of all time!?"
"Ric, I am honored to be in this ring with you right now and..." Eddy says before Flair cuts him off.
"Thats Mr. Ric Flair to you, cruiserweight! You don't come on TV...in front of millions of fans at home...and simply call out The Nature Boy Ric Flair! But I will give you credit kid, you swung for the fences. At Hog Wild, I will put this United States championship on the line! And you better bring everything you've got, because you're not only stepping into the ring with the Nature Boy, but you're stepping into the ring with the dirtiest player in the game! Woooo!"
The Faces of Fear vs. Lex Luger & Sting
In a superb match, Luger & Sting defeated Meng and The Barbarian in 10:25 when Sting pinned The Barbarian following a Diving Crossbody.
As the match ends, Sting and Lex Luger leaves the ring and Sting gets on the 2nd rope.
"Owwwwwww!" Sting yells to a deafening yell back from the fans.
Suddenly, The Outsiders slide into the ring and Nash runs up nailing Sting from behind with a huge forearm, dropping Sting down into the ring on his feet. Weary, Sting turns around and Hall hits a discus left hand that puts Sting on the mat. Luger, finally seeing what is happening, hits the ring and The Outsiders escape, taunting Lex through the crowd as he helps Sting to his feet.
Scott Norton vs. The Giant
In a bout that had good heat and decent wrestling, The Giant defeated Scott Norton in 11:31 by pinfall following a Chokeslam.
As The Giant is declared victory, referee Nick Patrick quickly exits the ring as The Outsiders slide into the ring behind The Giant. Sensing them there, The Giant turns around. Hall is the first to make a move and The Giant lays him out with a right hand, then connects with another to Nash to excitement of the fans in attendance. Both Hall and Nash get the upper hand and are beating on The Giant as there is a commotion towards the entrance way...
Hulk Hogan has arrived! No more red and yellow. All black! As The Giant shoves Hall to the mat and grabs Nash around the neck, Hogan grabs the WCW World Heavyweight Championship and hits The Giant in the back of the head, laying him out. Hall gets off the mat and lays in a couple of kicks to the back of a motionless Giant as Hogan grabs a microphone.
“Ya know somethin’ guys? The best part about being the New World Order of professional wrestling, is we can do what we want when we want to. Just like I did in 1984, I’ve changed the world of professional wrestling, and no one saw it coming. To those who said their prayers and ate their victims, you can jump on the train jack, because we’re heading out of town! This Saturday at Hog Wild brother, I, Hollywood Hulk Hogan, am going to take back what I never lost in the first place, and there is not a damn thing anyone can do about it!”
Hogan and The Outsiders pose to a mix of cheers and boos, and a ring filling up with garbage, similar to the sight at WCW Bash at the Beach.
