Segmemt - Bruno Sammartino is prepared for tonight as he hopes he can make the fans proud and once again become a champion for them [100]

Match Four - Andre the Giant vs Ernie Ladd [92]
Two behemoths meet face-to-face in the ring. Andre the Giant and Ernie Ladd create a combined weight of 810lbs as the two giants, standing at 7'4" and 6'9" respectively, face off in this grudge match to battle over who is the true giant of the WWWF. Andre the Giant took the advantage right out of the gate but Ernie Ladd bailed out of the ring to stall. Ernie got back in to the ring and attempted a shoulder charged which led to the ''Big Cat'' being knocked down instead. Ernie Ladd decides to roll out of the ring again. A frustrated Andre climbs over to the top rope to get to Ladd but gets his leg yanked in the process giving Ernie Ladd the advantage.

With Ernie Ladd in control, he begins to work on the legs of Andre the Giant. Ladd begins to punch but with it having little effect on the ''Eight Wonder of the World'', both men meet upright and face-to-face. Both men hit the ropes and collide in the centre of the ring with neither man budging. Each man goes for this again with the same result. However, the third time is is tried, both men hit a clothesline at the same time sending both men crashing to the canvas.

With both men down, the referee begins the count. At the count of eight, both Andre the Giant and Ernie Ladd rise to their knees and begin brawling. A series of headbutts give Andre the advantage. More headbutts followed by a clothesline leaves the ''Big Cat'' rocked with a shoulderblock finally sends Ernie Ladd down to the ground. Andre gets a chokehold on Ernie Ladd before lifting him in the air and delivering a two-handed sitout chokeslam. Andre goes for the cover - One...Two...Near Fall! At the last gasp, Ernie Ladd survives.

Andre the Giant stalks Ernie Ladd until he is back to his feet and attempts a big boot which Ladd manages to dodge and follows up with a huge dropkick. Ladd goes for the cover but only manages a two count. With Andre up quicker than Ladd, Andre attempts to climb to the top rope but is caught by the ''Big Cat'' who send him crashing to the centre of the ring. Ernie Ladd then tries his own luck climbing the turnbuckle but is met by Andre the Giant. Both men jostle for position before Andre hits a wild superplex on Ladd. With both men are flat out in the middle of the ring, Andre the Giant stretches his arm across the chest of Ernie Ladd for the cover - One...Two...Three! Andre the Giant secures the win in 10:42 earning the right to call himself the ''True Giant of the WWWF''

Main Event - Steel Cage - Harley Race vs Bruno Sammartino - WWWF World Title Match [99]
Bruno Sammartino finally gets his shot at the WWWF World Title where he can't be foiled by countout or disqualification finishes and he wastes no time in starting the offence, whipping Harley Race in to the cage. Race hits a back body drop which cools the momentum of Sammartino. The WWWF World Champion then begins to drag Bruno around the ring, slamming his head off of the steel. Sammartino managed to counter an attack which led to Race sending himself crashing in to the cage. This is followed by Bruno delivering a running powerslam - One...Kick Out! A lot more is going to be needed to secure the title.

Bruno Sammartino then begins to mount another offence but a counter by Harley Race leads to a flurry of suplexes leaving Sammartino down on the ground, writhing in pain. Harley Race takes a play out of Bruno Sammartino's book, ramming the ''Italian Superman'' in to the cage before hitting a running powerslam - One...Two...Kick Out!

Bruno Sammartino finds himself sat against the ropes as Harley Race attempts a high knee which misses, sending Race's knee into the cage. With Race's knee hurt, Sammartino capitalises with another running powerslam - One...Two...Kick Out! Bruno crawls to the corner, wondering what he must do to capture the title. On the other side of the ring, Harley Race mentions his bad knee to Freddie Blassie. Whilst still in conversation with his manager, Harley Race notices Bruno Sammartino charging over to him and manages to catch him in an ankle lock. A kick to the bad knee from Sammartino forces Race to let go of the hold but Race comes back with a clothesline.

Seeing the champion struggling, Freddie Blassie opens the cage door and tries to drag Harley Race through it for the win. However, Blassie is caught by Bruno Sammartino who sends Blassie back out of the cage. Bruno Sammartino tries to escape via the door but Freddie Blassie is back to his feet and slams the door against the head of Sammartino. Bruno stumbles back in the centre of the ring where he is met by another set of suplexes from Harley Race.

Harley Race is back in charge of the contest as Freddie Blassie throws a chair in to the cage. Race takes advantage using this to keep Bruno Sammartino grounded. Harley Race then applies a figure four leg lock but Bruno Sammartino musters the strength to turn over shifting the pain to Race. Both men broke free as arose to begin a wild brawl with both men delivering punch after punch after punch. After swinging wildly, Harley Race missed and Bruno Sammartino has able to hit a backbreaker. Freddie Blassie once again got involved by jumping inside the cage but was met with a running powerslam. Back on his feet, Harley Race aimed to lift Bruno Sammartino but the ''Italian Superman'' turned this around in to a running powerslam leading to a pinfall - One...Two..Three! Bruno Sammartino does it. After 20:04, Bruno Sammartino has reclaimed the WWWF World Title back!
