Frequently Asked Questions for Pro Wrestling Promoter
Part1 - 02/2021
1) Will it have feature X or Y? Generally speaking, I'll be revealing features as they come up and we are ready to announce them. Some questions on features though, are announced below.
2) Can I join the beta?When the beta program starts I will be inviting people specifically to join the closed beta and this will be based on a number of things. If you are passionate about getting involved in the creative process, best advice is to be active in discussions on the discord, with either ideas for PWP or the community itself. We will also be considering general posting conduct as well.
3) Will the game be on Steam/how will it be released?Lots of options are being considered for release on a digital storefront - including Steam. There will not be any adoption of rigid licensing activation systems such as eLicense, though.
4) What's the general timescale at the moment? (Feb 2021)The game is in early alpha phase which means it is not currently playable and is currently under construction. Once this initial phase ends in the coming weeks, a wider review of discussions and wishlists will draw up the final feature set for PWP 1.0. Any that don't make it may still be considered after that point for 1.0, or a later version.
5) Will the game use the editors previously made by those at PWP? This is still being considered and currently PWP is modded using a combination of third party editors and a new bespoke editor. It is more a technical question of the Editor 'style' to be used at this point but will be decided closer towards the end of the initial Alpha phase.
6) Will the game use a real calendar?Absolutely.
7) What will the attribute/population systems be like?More will be revealed closer to the time. Remember screenshots shown at this stage are very much 'in progress' and we encourage you to give your feedback and reaction to what you see on them! This allows us to further refine and mark down potential additions for feature requests. |
