Project Joshi
Project Joshi is a upcoming independent wrestling game that is using Unreal Engine 4.
Project Joshi is a attempt to take the wrestling game genre into a new direction. The vast majority of wrestling games play like beat-em ups, whereby the objective is to whittle the opponents health down and then score a pin or submission. With Project Joshi the attempt is to bring in some strong RPG elements into the gameplay and really question concepts such as damage and health in a wrestling game.
Why Project "Joshi"?
The game is going to be based on women's pro wrestling with an all female cast. The characters and the world will be entirely fictional. As of right now, I do not have assets or any art but I have some good ideas on what the characters are going to look and play like.
How many people are working on the project?
Currently, this is a solo project with only one game designer, character designer, level designer, story writer, composer and just about everything.
