As DPW's 3rd year begins, lets recap how its 2nd year ended.
DPW's closed out their 2nd year with DPW 2nd Anniversary on December 10th, 2023.
Two former DEADLOCK Pro Wrestling Champions, Jay Malachi and Lucky Ali have been signed by World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE). They made their final appearances at DPW World's Strongest 2023 in November.
At DPW 2nd Anniversary Calvin Tankman won the vacant DPW World Championship by defeating Colby Corino. Where does Colby go from here after failing to capture the DPW World Championship once again?
The queen was dethroned when Miyuki Takase defeated Emi Sakura to become the 3rd DPW Women's World Champion.
The Motor City Machine Guns defeated The Workhorsemen to become the 4th DPW World Tag Team Champions.
DPW National Champion Bryan Keith was not scheduled to defend his title at DPW 2nd Anniversary, but was on the losing end of tag team action alongside Titus Alexander against Jake Something and Mike Bailey. Jake Something has already declared that he wants Bryan Keith's championship. Respect was shown toward the winners by Bryan Keith, but not by Titus Alexander who instead flipped off Bailey when he extended his hand.
Andrew Everett settled his score with BK Westbrook in a No Holds Barred match, emerging victorious after 20 gruesome minutes. Everett cut a promo after the match asking BK where his friends are; reminding him that Lucki Ali is gone and Adam Brooks hasn't been back since returning to Australia. Everett also stated he knows BK Westbrook is capable of being even better than Everett. Respect was shown after the match with a fist bump.
Labron Kozone and Violence is Forever defeated Tom Lawlor and West Coast Wrecking Crew in 6-man action when Kozone scored a sudden pinfall over Lawlor. After the match, Team Filthy attacked Kozone and ViF until Mansoor and Mason Madden, collectively known as MxM, made their surprise DPW debut to run off Team Filthy.
The first DPW World Champion Bojack made his first appearance since May and annihilated Oliver Sawyer in under a minute. With the Dreadlock Demolition Machine making his return, could it be just a matter of time before DPW sees its first two-time champion?
Nicole Matthews scored an impressive victory over Japanese freelancer Yuu at DPW 2nd Anniversary, rebounding after losing in her attempt to win the DPW Women's World Championship from Emi Sakura in September.
