Money in the Bank kicks off with the SmackDown Tag Team Title match!
Dominik and Rey Mysterio(c) vs. The Usos ~ SmackDown Tag Team Titles
The Usos, a formidable and experienced tag team, appear they haven't missed a beat with each other as they target Rey Mysterio the entire match as Dominik watched helplessly from the apron. However, Rey's veteran instincts found a hole to get Dominik the tag. Dominik comes in fueled with fire that built up and went off on The Usos before Jey Uso clips Dominik from behind. Jey looks to be closing in as he tags Jimmy Uso for a Double Uce Splash. They go up and Rey Mysterio hits a springboard dropkick that sends Jey to the outside. Jimmy hops off to charge at Mysterio, gets tripped into the ropes and is hit with a 619 as he wobbles back into a schoolboy pin for Dominik! The Mysterio family retain!
Following the SmackDown Tag Team Championships match, Charlotte Flair says in an interview she meets Rhea Ripley once again. After a match at last year's WrestleMania, she proved to have Ripley's number and the same will happen tonight. Charlotte claims Rhea came to her show, but tonight she reclaims the throne for yet another time.
Up next is the Ms. Money in the Bank Ladder Match with ladders set up all around the ring area.
Alexa Bliss vs. Asuka vs. Liv Morgan vs. Naomi vs. Natalya vs. Nikki ASH vs. Tamina vs. Zelina Vega ~ Ms. Money in the Bank
These eight women battle for the right to a championship match within the next year. Alexa Bliss doesn't move much at all and throughout the match, she changes from "The Goddess" to "The Fairy" to "Twisted Bliss." Asuka goes crazy and nearly reaches the briefcase once, but was powerbombed by Tamina through a table on the outside and she was done. Liv Morgan had various pops when she climbed the ladder, but always deterred by someone else. Naomi showed off her athleticism this match with some innovation with the ladder and even leaped over the ladder with a split-legged moonsault onto Asuka and Natalya. Speaking of, Natalya was very aggressive with the ladder and even used the Sharpshooter with Nikki ASH trapped in the ladder. Nikki ASH tried going above and beyond her abilities, but kept landing herself in troublesome waters. Tamina was as aggressive as Natalya, using the ladder and her power to take out everyone, really powerslamming everyone onto a ladder, one by one. And Zelina Vega tried making alliances in the match, one successful with Liv Morgan but another unsuccessful with Asuka. At the end, Asuka had a chance as the ring was cleared and she set the ladder up. Asuka climbs the ladder and is ready to retrieve the briefcase when the lights go out. They come back on and Alexa Bliss is standing on the ladder opposite of Asuka. Bliss shoves Asuka by the face and Asuka holds on, but Bliss slams Asuka's head in the ladder and Asuka still holds on. Then Natalya comes by and powerbombs Asuka to the mat from the ladder! Alexa looks up and laughs but Natalya walks over to the other side and powerbombs Alexa Bliss off the ladder as well! Natalya is ready to scale the ladder and all of a sudden Liv Morgan comes in and tugs the foot of Natalya. Natalya is pulled off the ladder and hit with an elbow strike by Morgan, and Natalya is rocked and misses a shot back before Liv Morgan hits Jersey Codebreaker. Natalya rolls under the ring and it's Liv's time! The crowd pops as Liv Morgan scales the ladder and can touch the briefcase. Liv scales up one more, but her momentum is stalled. Tamina has a hold of her foot. Tamina yanks Liv Morgan down and hits a Samoan Drop! Tamina pops up and looks around, seeing nobody else, as Tamina goes up the ladder to a chorus of boos. Tamina unhooks the briefcase and steals the match, becoming Ms. Money in the Bank.
After the big win, John Morrison and The Miz are shown backstage. The Miz is hyping John Morrison up to follow in his footsteps and win Money in the Bank tonight to become world champion, an accolade long overdue for the Monday Night Delight.
Up next is the Raw Women's Title Match with a video shown of Charlotte taking the NXT Championship at last year's WrestleMania, followed by Rhea Ripley's recovery at WrestleMania this year to become Raw Women's Champion, that leads us to this rivalry being renewed tonight.
Charlotte Flair vs. Rhea Ripley(c) ~ Raw Women's Championship
Charlotte and Ripley go head-to-head in this back-and-forth matchup that easily could be the Match of the Night with several "this is awesome" chants, including Charlotte Flair hitting a moonsault off the ring post through the Spanish announce table and both barely reaching the ring by the count of 10. It's back-and-forth til the very end when Rhea Ripley signals the end with Riptide but Charlotte counters and tries to lock in the Figure Eight, but Rhea Ripley won't allow the leverage and gets to the ropes. Charlotte is forced to break the hold and stalks Ripley before the champion can get up and goes for a big boot, but Rhea ducks and Charlotte catches her leg in the top rope. Rhea comes back with a forearm to the back of the head, pulls her to the center and hits Riptide! Rhea Ripley hooks the leg and it's THREE! Rhea Ripley retains!

Xavier Woods and Kofi Kingston enter the picture, hype for tonight as Big E could be Mr. Money in the Bank and Kingston could be WWE Champion once more. Woods is shocked as Kingston and Big E staredown, before they all break character and laugh it off as Kofi heads to the ring for his WWE Title Match next.
Bobby Lashley(c) with MVP vs. Kofi Kingston with Xavier Woods ~ WWE Championship
This is an absolute squash for Lashley. The fans do not respond well to the massacre happening inside the ring. Kingston has a moment of hope when he begins to rally and hits a New Day Drop before getting lined up for Trouble in Paradise, but he's caught by Lashley and it's countered with a Dominator. Lashley digs his foot in the mat, awaiting Kingston to get up, and hits a Spear that turns Kofi inside out. Lashley makes the cover and it's over.
Baron Corbin asks Adam Pearce to be in the Money in the Bank Ladder Match, but Pearce blames Corbin for the attack. While Corbin promises it wasn't him and he's just trying to earn a living once again to pay his bills, he breaks the news to Corbin a replacement was already found.

Big E vs. Drew McIntyre vs. John Morrison vs. Kevin Owens vs. Murphy vs. Ricochet vs. Riddle vs. Seth Rollins ~ Mr. Money in the Bank
It was fast paced to start out. Seth Rollins was the last entrant and he quickly got on the microphone and trashed everyone awaiting him in the ring, and lastly attacked Murphy as his former Disciple and said it's Murphy's fault he got fired the first time and he'll put him back on the streets again. Murphy leaped over and hit a senton on Rollins. Then everyone joined in, and lastly Kevin Owens hit a big move off the top turnbuckle. This match sees each have their shining moment. Morrison almost had a grasp on the briefcase but was pushed off by Big E, but Morrison caught his balance on the rope and hit a Flying Chuck as a counter. Riddle showed off his athleticism and leaped from one ladder on the outside to the ladder in the center of the ring, preventing Rollins from grabbing the briefcase. McIntyre threw Murphy through a ladder on the outside, breaking it in half. Big E hit a Spear off the apron on Owens and through a ladder himself. Towards the end, Riddle got on a run and slammed a ladder on top of Ricochet's head after taking out the rest of the competition. Riddle has an opportunity to climb the ladder and goes up before a man jumps over the barricade, pulls Riddle off the ladder and hits an RKO! The crowd is stunned! The covered man reveals himself, but it's Mustafa Ali! Then everyone gets really confused before Big E comes from behind and hits the Big Ending on Mustafa. Big E tries maintaining the balance but Rollins rocks the ladder enough that Big E jumps from the ladder onto Rollins below! Big E pops up, waits for Rollins, and goes for the Big Ending before Rollins slides off the back and hits an enzuigiri to the back of the head, followed by a Curb Stomp. Rollins knows it's his moment and he scurries up the ladder, but Murphy comes in on the opposite side and they're throwing hands at the top of the ladder. Rollins gets the upper hand as he gouges Murphy's eyes and throws him to the mat. Rollins laughs before the ladder is pushed and Rollins falls into the ropes and comes back for the CLAYMORE KICK! McIntyre lays Rollins out and puts the ladder back up. McIntyre goes up the ladder and John Morrison sees what's about to happen. Morrison slides in the ring and begins climbing the opposite side, but it's too late, McIntyre has the briefcase. The crowd goes insane for Drew McIntyre as he wins Mr. Money in the Bank and has his eyes on the top once more.
After a big turn of events and lots of questions headed into this week's shows, up next is the Universal Championship match. A video package plays showing Roman Reigns returning at last year's SummerSlam and putting SmackDown on his back, while Edge wins the Royal Rumble at #1 and doesn't get his 1-on-1 match at WrestleMania. Now, he has his opportunity.
Edge vs. Roman Reigns ~ Universal Championship
authors note: This match goes exactly how it happened at the real thing. With Rollins' involvement, Reigns winning, and John Cena returning. This was done so perfectly, I will not rewrite.
