Hey everyone,
I wanted to throw an idea out there for some individuals who would be interested in doing some longer term booking and typing up weekly/bi-weekly shows building to bigger events.
I propose looking at the 1988 rosters in North America and putting them into a draft (always fun but time consuming) through google docs (way simpler) and splitting everything up in 3-4 ways. This could be a rework of the WWF, the JCP to WCW Transition, Rebirth of the AWA, Foundations of the USWA, and many more possibilities.
We could do some of the legwork off the site to keep it clean and then post our shows in threads on here. We could have a talent page to add/drop names as we go.
I am open to all suggestions and questions.
Let me know if you're interested or if there is another time period that could work if more were interested.

This seems like a fun idea in general, and I hope there's some people who end up joining. I've noticed I'm much more into booking a touring schedule, much like I'm doing rn with my own dynasty since I find writing weekly shows to be a bit of a shore. So I'm not really sure if this is for me. Also I'm not as familiar witht the end of the territories period as some.

I think that's the fun of a project like this, you can adapt it any way you see fit. A touring US company in the late 80s could be interesting.

I think that's the fun of a project like this, you can adapt it any way you see fit. A touring US company in the late 80s could be interesting. I also hate writing promos since I can't help but cringe at any dialogue attempt I've written so far, so my stuf would always be kind of different and more focused on telling stories in-ring. Which also means I'd have to familiarize myself with the overall scene some more to find the right guys for that kind of presentation, but if I was able to do that it could be very fun, yes. So basically it would be something close to my current dynasty but in a much different setting. And the more I think about it the more I see how cool that could be.

You can use if you want wrestlingdata or cagematch to get who to use.. they do a good job with promotions and who they used for years to help the list

There are a couple of resources that will give us the WWF and WCW rosters but all the indies, USWA, World Class, AWA, and such... that may be a little more difficult to come up with.
