I am thinking about buying this game. My question is, can you just sim the matches instead of selecting who will win and how?

I'm not sure if that feature have been added yet, but it is a confirmed feature to be added.

Yes but the workers in your child company must have developmental contract set to Yes in the editor

Hi all,
I bought Pro Wrestling Sim when I saw it on Steam. I haven't played wrestling sims since a teenager. I remember putting a lot of hours into Promotion Wars and a little less time in EWR. So i decided to buy this game and see what it was about. So far I have a couple of questions that I haven't been able to figure out.
1) How do I turn a wrestler face/heel before my first show. Eg. Aron Stevens is a heel for the NWA and Kratos is a face. I want them both to be faces but don't know how to change this prior to my first show. I try to, but it seems that a face turn will need to happen on one of my shows.
2) If I want two opponents in the same angle, and want one to attack the other, how do I do this?
3) If I want a heel or face turn to happen in a match, how do I do this?
4) When doing angles, I know we can select talking, video, etc., but is there anyway of selecting more options, like interview, and the types of things that are said?
Sorry if all these questions are obvious to some, but I have looked through the game's options and haven't been able to figure it out.
Thanks.

1) There are two things you could do. First, if you don't mind "cheating" (but not really), you could click "Settings" from your office screen and click "Edit Database". Go to Contracts, find Aron's NWA contract and change him to a Face there. The Edit Database option within a save only changes the data for that ongoing save, and the actual database will be left untouched for future saves, so it's a neat thing to make use of if you need to get around the game's limitations, like in this case. If you don't want to do that, though, you could schedule the change to Face and then put Aron in an angle prior to his match on your show where you can make the face turn take place. Then I assume the game will know he's a face when the match comes around later in the show.
2) You just book them and select the "Attack" option for the angle type. You can't specify who's attacking who but the PWS developer has said that this is due to the fact that, gameplay-wise, that option wouldn't change anything about how the angle is rated and how the workers gain pop. Remember booking simulators are largely reliant on your imagination!
3) Schedule the change before your show via your roster screen. You can find this from the main screen of your save by clicking My Promotion > Roster, then find the worker you want to change and click "Change Character" on the bottom right. Then use the dropdown "Set New Disposition" and do what you need, and click "Submit Planned Changes" when you're ready. Once you've got that done, book your worker in a match and run the show - during the match you'll see a button that I can't remember exactly, but it'll say something to the effect of "handle character changes" and you can complete the turn there.
4) Like I said above, booking simulators are largely reliant on your imagination. Luckily, PWS gives us loads of ways to put our imagination into our save history with the two text boxes. If I wanted an interview, I'd book Worker A and the company's usual interviewer. Let's say Sting and Mean Gene. Then, if Sting is feuding with Flair, put Flair in the Angle Subjects column so you can progress their storyline. Name the segment "Sting interview", and use the bigger box to flesh out any details you want. You could write the entire promo or just say "Sting comments on Flair's actions from last week, says he'll get revenge at SuperBrawl on Sunday". This is all up to you, put your personal spin on it!
I hope this helps, but obviously if anything was unclear just let me know and I'll try clarify it further. Have fun, Stormster!

I cannot seem to hire anyone for backstage. Only wrestlers, announcers and "personalities"
Am I missing something, because I would like to be able to add a booker

I'm not updated on which non wrestler roles are implemented yet, but from testing my mod I remember the AI promotions going on a hiring spree for road agents. So the dev did tweak that and lowered the amount of needed road agents.
