In a match everyone assumed would be more even, Mike Knox would absolutely dominate the ECW original. Almost winning without even taking any damage. The one turning point would see Mahoney get his steel chair and clobber Mike over the back + head. But it wouldn't matter, as the monstrous man would shake it off and finish Balls with a devastating Bicycle Kick he calls "The Sacrificial Lamb." He wasn't done there though. As Balls was helped up the ramp, Mike would reappear and powerbomb Mahoney off the ramp, laughing the entire time.

Everyone started the match with some sort of weapon in hand. Surprisingly it was Shannon Moore who was the last one standing. His choice of weapon? A kendo stick with spikes from his belts. BWO would use their numbers advantage and began focusing the others one by one. First getting eliminated would be Psicosis. Then they tried C.W Anderson, only for Nova to get eliminated by the shooter. Shelton and Elijah would form an alliance, sending the remaining BWO members out of the match. Credible and Anderson had each other teetering, when Shannon Moore came up from behind and dumped them both over. He quickly evades Burkes' chair shot, spike kendo stick to the head! Burke is bleeding and sent flying over. Shannon turns around wielding his kendo stick - standing there opposite to him, Spike Dudley with a baseball bat and Shelton with a golden ladder! They all charge at each other, Shannon though realizes he'd take the brunt end and backs out. Leaving Spike to take the ladder and Shelton the bat. Once the dust settles, both men are left busted wide open. Shannon uses this opportunity to scoop up Spike and drop him on his head with a Northern Lights suplex. From there it was easy pickings, sending little Spike flying over the the top ropes. Shannon spends too much time taunting. Shelton with the Superkick as Shannon turns around, T-Bone Suplex to the outside! Shelton Benjamin is the winner and number one contender for the ECW World Television Championship!

ECW World Title Tournament Round 1
 vs. 

The crowd is extra hot for this one, as they both know these two men are crazy SOB's. Sabu, even before the match begins, starts throwing chair after chair into the ring. Surrounding Masato Tanaka, who's already in the ring waiting. They both equip with a chair and take multiple chair swings, smacking steel to steel. Eventually it's Sabu who's taken down, not able to keep up with the strength of Masato Tanaka. Sabu gets put in the corner, a chair up to his head while Tanaka hits a Sliding forearm smash, right into the chair. Sabu slowly makes a comeback, after avoiding a huge big boot and tossing a chair directly into Tanaka's face. From there we see Sabu hit the Arabian press and the triple jump moonsault. Neither enough to put the big man down. As we near the end of the match, Tanaka would send Sabu from the ring to the floor THROUGH a table with his Complete Dust! (inverted sitout side powerslam) Leaving the referee AND crowd in a frenzy. Though by the time he got him inside for the pin, Sabu was able to kick out at two and a half. Tanaka tried going for a One shoulder powerbomb, but Sabu was holding a chair in hand and smacked Tanaka over the head. Reversed into a hurricanrana onto another chair! Sabu picks up the chair, climbs turnbuckle and drives it into Masato's face with the Arabian Facebuster! 1...2...3!!! Sabu moves on in the tournament!

A show of respect starts the match, with Chris Benoit extending his hand out for the legendary Funker, who graciously accepts. From then on, they show no remorse. Benoit hits a multitude of Suplex variations. Trying his best to wind the much older Funk. For all Terry Funk has been through, he keeps up, which shocks Chris Benoit. He tries going for an early Diving Headbutt, which Funker immediately gets to his feet and catches Chris. Funk would then hit a piledriver, followed by a sleeper hold that doesn't last long. They would spill to the outside, Benoit assumed after a german suplex Funk was down and out. No way, he would drop Benoit with a spinning toe hold and then drop him with ANOTHER piledriver - only this time onto a chair. Funk attempted a pin after throwing Chris into the ring, only for Benoit to reverse it into the Crippler Crossface! Funk was seconds away from tapping, until his tippy toes were able to go under the ropes, breaking the count. Funk tried once again for the piledriver, only this time he was back dropped onto a chair. Benoit is stalking him, Three Amigos, which brings a nice Eddie chant into the arena. Crippler Crossface again! This time he's really wrenching back, Terry taps! Benoit moves on. Terry holds Chris' arm up in another show of respect, as the fans cheer on.

Bubba Ray and Tony Mamaluke start the match, with Tony getting manhandled by Bubba. Tossed from one side of the ring to the other. He and D-Von go for an early 3D, but Little Guido pulls Tony out of the ring. Miz hops in and tries attacking Bubba from behind, only to take a vicious Bubba Bomb. The Dudley Boyz focus solely on Miz, hitting a few of their signature tag moves and almost pinning him. The first elimination actually comes when Tajiri misses a buzzsaw kick and takes the 3D + pinfall, eliminating Unholy Alliance from the match. FBI storm the ring and double team D-Von. Bubba tries helping, but is pulled out of the ring and chokeslammed by Big Guido! Morrison tags D-Von and gets in the ring, hitting a flurry of stunning kicks on both members of the FBI. John sends Little Guido over the top ropes, smashing into Big Guido and Bubba who were fighting outside still. He turns around, ducks a clothesline from Tony and hits the Moonlight Drive (corkscrew neckbreaker) to eliminate FBI! While Miz and Morrison celebrate a little bit too early, D-Von is instructed to get the tables.. which of course he does! Miz turns around into a normal 3D, while Morrison isn't so lucky. He tries to superkick D-Von, the kick is caught and he's spun around into the 3D through a table! Dudley Boyz are the new ECW World Tag Team Champions!

The match starts similar to the previous tournament match, with a handshake out of respect. After that? No respect is shown. Rob throws a flurry of punches, kicks and forearms. Forcing Sandman to retreat to the outside. RVD tries taking advantage of that, coming over the top ropes with a dive. But Sandman is fully prepared and swings his trusty dusty kendo stick directly into the head of Rob. Sandman gets onto the canvas, Leg Drop with the cane underneath him! Once in the ring, he's only able to get a two count. Sandman would continue to use his kendo stick, keeping the fight in his favor. Even using the cane to choke his opponent. RVD, with the crowd mainly on his side, is able to rally a comeback. Sandman attempted the White Russian Legsweep with the cane, but Rob was able to reverse it into a modified Van Daminator, but with the kendo stick instead. At that point, RVD took full control. A big highlight was Sandman setting a table up on the outside and turning around into a sickening chair shot by Rob, turning Sandman into a crimson mass. Rob would lay him on the table and would hit Air Van Dam (senton bomb) sending them both through the wood. Even though he probably could've finished it there, Rob wanted to make damn sure. Coming off the top ropes with a picture perfect Five Star Frog Splash, advancing RVD in the World title tournament!

Kurt Angle comes out to a mixed reaction. But once CM Punk shows up, microphone in and insulting the crowd, Angle is the clear babyface. Punk does his usual spiel, announcing he's straight edge and that means he's better then everyone in attendance.. and specifically, Kurt Angle. They start the match with some mat wrestling, which Punk quickly regrets as Kurt is obviously more sound in that department. He goes from a rear naked choke, to a triangle choke and then into the Ankle Lock, but Punk was able to pull himself outside. Punk then was forced to play dirty, as outwrestling Kurt freakin' Angle isn't gonna work. Eye rake, low blow and a stolen Angle Slam wasn't enough to put Kurt down. But it was enough to truly piss him off. Three german suplexes, two European uppercuts and the TRUE Angle Slam, almost put Punk away. They continued going back and forth, Punk almost winning with a GTS, but Angle was able to roll out before the pin, mirroring what Punk did earlier. We would end up at a standoff, after they reversed each others finishers. Punk tried to mimic Kurt's finisher again, this time the Ankle Lock! It only lasted a few seconds, as Angle would roll through and lock in his own Ankle Lock, but this time while grapevining Punk's leg! Angle was probably milliseconds away from winning the match. That was until Shannon Moore appeared from the crowd, sliding in the ring and whacking Kurt Angle with his spiked kendo stick. At first Punk looked confused, except he isn't and this was planned. He hugs Shannon Moore as they throw up the straight edge X. Punk and Moore then begin stomping at the back of Kurt. The fans are booing heavily and both Joey Styles and Tazz are shocked, but now understand what the meeting backstage between the two meant. Punk climbs the top rope, Shannon brings Angle to him and he connects with a vicious Pepsi Plunge! (Diving double underhook facebuster) Punk moves on and the fans shower Shannon Moore and him with trash as the show goes to an end.
