AWA-Specific gimmicks? I don't think AWA did gimmicks. Verne Gagne like all the old school promoters at the time hated the character based wrestling that wwe was based on and perfered his wrestlers to be realistic and specialized in a technical substance over style type like early roh. The only time they tried anything gimmicky was the team challenge series and that failed miserably. And younger talent? Some of them Maybe but guys like Terry Gordy and Chris adams were around 10 year veterans at the time And were also mainstays of fritz von Erich's WCCW and Terry actually did some work in AWA for a few years with the freebirds like on the superclashes. And why have booker t on your roster without his brother Stevie ray? Harlem Heat/ebony experience would be big players in your tag division. This diary is called "TBS Acquires AWA" as you can see. Verne Gagne was fired and someone more innovative was put in charge of the company by Ted Turner. So Turner's checkbook saved the company, and you're actually reading an imaginary post-1991 diary. Of course, the company will produce some more cartoonish characters to survive. I say it again: this is an imaginary diary. Gagne's company was bought from him. I'm trying to make the company more in line with the wrestling trends of that era. I am also aware that original-AWA is run with an old school wrestling mentality. But let's be realistic, if I wrote it in such a mentality, who would read it? Frankly, I don't want to write "mat wrestling" matches.
When I say young talent, I'm not talking about Gordy and Adams. There are younger talents on Roster. (Eddie, Taz, Mabel, Saturn, Booker T, Al Snow) Yes, I brought Booker T into the company without his brother. Because I ask, "How would something different be?" I don't want to do predictable things. Stevie Ray will join the roster of course. But I want to do this gradually and fit into the storyline that's going on right now.

Except you have Gordy and adams performing under the names Terry mawashi and Dylan dowboy, it sounds like your trying to make them out as a Japanese and Texan wrestler specifically.
