Ace vs. Steamboat in a Ladder Match? Why? The show was pretty solid, with the main event being a pretty good story development. There is a tape that Steamboat wants to capture. It was exciting to hang it at the top of the ring and arrange a ladder match.

The War Stories card actually looks pretty good. Specially the match between The Steiner Brothers and Malenko & Benoit. Blanchard vs. Dustin makes a lot of sense. Seeing HBK and Sandman team up is hilarious.

I definitely think that we need to know the content of Steamboat's tape ASAP.
The show had its bits, it seems. I liked the development to Foley and Blanchard's story. I'd definitely give more time to Steiner Bros vs. Malenko and Benoit, but it's an undercard bout so... it's acceptable.
The World at War is probably going to keep featuring WCW and AJPW wrestlers against your guys, maybe even with Steamboat challenging Zbyszko? I'm excited.

SEGMENT - Bill Gagne cuts promo after last night's win with Steve Williams in the ring. He says Frank Reed isn't on his show for the first time tonight, and he can't seem to come off his embarrassment. "Don't worry, I'm here. As the REAL owner of the company, you can come to me if there's a problem," he jokes with Frank and the AWA management. Bill Gagne was very underwhelming.

SEGMENT - After the commercial break, Blanchard calls Foley into the ring and challenges him for that night. However, he is actually doing this to make fun of himself. Because after the Gauntlet 11 show on Saturday, Foley was caught by mental hospital officials and put back in the hospital. With this match, Pillman's performance skills and Lanny's rumble skills improved. HALLOWEEN SEGMENT - Jesse Ventura's big Halloween surprise turns out to be JIZO! Jizo lost his last fight with Painkiller and was taken to his sick clinic and was never seen again. Ventura invites him to the ring as a new member. Jizo walks among the monks who are wearing white clothes, walks into the ring and takes off his robe. Stitches and scars all over his body draw attention, and everyone in the arena shudders. Just as Ventura is announcing Jizo, who has turned his back to everyone, suddenly Jizo attacks him from behind and slaps the other members out of the ring one by one! Jizo lied. He is still a face character and has not joined Unorthodox Cirice! King Kong Bundy, who was not in the ring at the time, came running to the ringside. However, he does not enter the ring and exchanges a glance with Jizo. SEGMENT - Larry Zbyszko, who defended the AWA World championship in Gauntlet 11 with the start of the World at War month, challenges everyone who comes as a guest from other companies in an interview. He especially catches Dustin's eye. "Dustin Rhodes, having wrestled with your father once, I can honestly say that you're a disgraceful wrestler. You couldn't even complete a match in Gauntlet 11! You fooled the spectators who paid there! Neither you nor anyone else from other companies, no one has this belt from me. He can't take it away!" Big Van Vader defeated Rick Steiner in 11:02 Vader pinned Rick with Vader Bomb. With this match, we learn that Vader is also coming to AWA as a guest from WCW. Having Vader vs. Steiner in the main event definitely helped. It's groundbreaking to see a match-up between two guys from a different promotion in 1992.

STAR REVIEW WITH TULLY BLANCHARD - Blanchard's topic this week is Shawn Michaels. He talks about Shawn's arrival at the company being overrated: "What, is this kid going to make the AWA beat the WWF? Moreover, where he came from, he had not even achieved a single success. Are you serious Frank? I understand what you're trying to do. You are trying to solidify your place by painting people's eyes. But you can't fool me, Frank. I've been in the pro wrestling world longer than you. I've seen too many maneuvers like this. But you can't fool me! Shawn Michaels, don't be too hard on yourself. There are more formidable wrestlers in this company than you think!” This segment received the show's highest rating.
