SEGMENT 1 - We remember the attack by Anderson and Blanchard on AWA World champion Ricky Steamboat after the match at the Crockett Cup show last night. Jerry Lawler had come to the rescue and saved his friend. Today, at the show opening, new AWA World Tag Team champions, The Brain Busters, are cutting a promo in the ring. Despite being champions, they are both in a bad mood. Anderson in particular is very angry. He was furious that Lawler rescued the Steamboat last night. The two will meet tonight.

SEGMENT 2 - Rick Rude, the winner of the Crockett Cup 1991, will get his chance to win the AWA World Heavyweight Championship tonight. We learn that this is the main event of tonight.

SEGMENT 3 - AWA's next big PPV event World War III commercial is revealed! We learn that wrestlers from WCW and AJPW will also be present in this PPV, which will be held in the 4th week of November. In the coming weeks, we will see who these wrestlers will be one by one.

SEGMENT 4 - Last night's losers Butch Reed and James Sandoval are coming to the ring. Unlike Butch, Sandoval speaks. After last night's match was set, neither of them changed their minds towards the AWA. “We didn't want to believe that this company, which doesn't recognize black rights, has a like-minded champion. But we see that it is exactly like that” and AWA champion Steamboat appears at the entrance. Sandoval is openly challenging him for tonight. He describes Rick Rude's appearance in the championship match tonight as a fait accompli. Steamboat can't stand these allegations against himself and his accepting Sandoval's challenge! Steamboat will be on two matches tonight!

SEGMENT 5 - AWA World Heavyweight Championship | Ricky Steamboat (c) defeated James Sandoval (w/Butch Reed) in 6:48 by pinfall with a Diving Crossbody - Steamboat is playing this match even though he doesn't have to and gets tired before the main event of the night. This will be a very serious disadvantage for him.

SEGMENT 6 - Jerry Lawler drew with Arn Anderson (w/Tully Blanchard) in 7:45 following a double count out - As the match continues normally, things get messy when Tully Blanchard interferes with the match. When Lawler struggles against both, they can't get back to the ring in time and the match ends in a draw.

SEGMENT 7 - After the commercial break, our announcers tell us the first match announced for Gauntlet 6: The Brain Busters vs. Lawler and Steamboat. Moreover, the Tag Team titles will be on the line.

SEGMENT 8 - Before the next match, Crockett Cup winner Rick Rude cuts a promo with Jesse Ventura. Ventura says Steamboat wasted his conditioning before such a serious match by acting like a complete idiot. “Especially if your competitor is a global star like Rick Rude, you should be more careful, son.”

SEGMENT 9 - AWA World Heavyweight Championship | Rick Rude (w/Jesse Ventura) defeated Ricky Steamboat (c) in 14:30 by pinfall with a Rude Awakening - Not surprisingly, Rude is leading the match against his tired opponent and capturing the title. Steamboat gets very upset after the match and sits on the ground. Lawler comes to comfort her.

I actually want to create a super unique gimmick for Edge. A Super Face gimmick with depth and really detailed background. But I'm terrible at creating Face gimmicks

So I'm open to your suggestions...

SEGMENT 1 - An exciting announcement is made at the opening: Mr. T is on AWA soon!

SEGMENT 2 - New AWA champion Rick Rude, Jesse Ventura and their young students Red Hook Machine comes to the ring. Ventura talks about tonight being AWA's "first" show or something. “With Rick's championship, a whole new page has been opened. The people here finally got the quality they deserve.” Ventura's words are interrupted by young talent Brian Pillman. “Ricky is fighting alone against you snobs. You on the one hand, and that strange entity called Black Panthers Rising on the other. But you know what? I'm with him now too. Jerry Lawler and I will back him up,” says Pillman. Then, he challenges Rick Rude. Ventura says they will definitely not accept this: “First, beat Red Hook, see you then,”

SEGMENT 3 - Brian Pillman defeated Red Hook Machine in 6:09 by pinfall with an Air Pillman following botched interference by Jesse Ventura - Ventura, who leaves the announce table when Pillman seems to win, tries to intervene in the match, accidentally making Red Hook lose the match. Ventura picked up the microphone after the match and said, “No, no! I do not accept. I don't care if we made a promise! You didn't win the match cleanly! Besides, Rick Rude doesn't play with an amateur like you, the type who just wins by chance. You are also much younger."

SEGMENT 4 - Frank Reed interviews Jim Cornette at ringside. “This is our last conversation,” says Cornette. This show his last show. As he said before, he will go on a nationwide talent hunt. He also made a special deal with Frank, by the way. He would first recommend the serious talents he found to AWA. Frank is very happy that they agreed on this. Cornette talks about Ellering and his trust in him after a while. His eyes wouldn't stay behind.

SEGMENT 5 - Black Panthers Rising (Butch Reed and James Sandoval) defeated The Pitbulls (Pitbull #1 and Pitbull #2) in 7:57 when Butch Reed defeated Pitbull #1 by pinfall with a Rocket Launcher - Butch speaks after the match: “Nothing is over! Ricky Steamboat, you may have beaten us. But after all, at the end of the day, you're not the champion. You are also being treated unfairly! I suggest you come and join us while you have time.”

SEGMENT 6 - Announcing the second match for Gauntlet 6: Rick Rude vs. Ricky Steamboat. AWA World title will be on the line. Frank Reed specially arranged this match. It gave him a rematch after Steamboat went to two matches on the same night and lost the title in a disadvantageous position. In this case, The Brain Busters vs. In this case, it is unclear whether the The Brain Busters vs. Lawler and Steamboat – AWA World Tag Team Titles match announced last week will be held.

SEGMENT 7 - Jim Brunzell is returning to the AWA! Brunzell, who left the company two years ago, says he is happy to be back at AWA. SEGMENT 9 - Next up is a brand new Talk Show: Talk With Falk! Tony Falk is known to be the funniest person responsible for the company's pranks. At the request of Frank Reed, who made Nick Bockwinkel's The NB Show its season finale. He also wanted to give a chance to the young talent Falk. Falk also invited Bockwinkel to his first show, mockingly. Bockwinkel is quite restless. Falk asks weird questions and makes mean jokes. It really is such a crappy talk show compared to The NB Show. Bockwinkel finally can't stand the bad jokes and angrily leaves the show.

SEGMENT 10 - At the close of the show, a very important interview with Larry Zbyszko is appears. Zbyszko got over his disappointment at the Crockett Cup and started to think about conspiracy theories. He briefly talks about the fact that he should be a finalist instead of Dowboy. “I don't want you to misunderstand me. The reason I think so isn't just because I'm a better wrestler than Dowboy. I learned some very strange facts about Dowboy. I talked to a friend close to the government, we will meet this week. He said he had something to tell me. So much so that it could affect Dowboy's entire career. And more importantly, the final of the Crockett Cup tournament can be remade.”

SEGMENT 1 - The NB Show – Guests: Larry Zbyszko and Michael Wallstreet - NB Show, which normally made the season finale, comes to the screen with a very special episode tonight. Bockwinkel got special permission from the company for this part. Zbyszko, who is a guest, says that he received the latest news on the subject he mentioned at the closing last week from his friend working in the government. “I brought him because there will be people who don't believe me,” he says, and it's Michael Wallstreet! Wallstreet says Dowboy has "illegal immigrant" status. He talks about the lack of documents he needs to complete when immigrating from the UK to the USA. He waves several documents towards the cameras. “If that's true, the entire Crockett Cup tournament needs to be replayed! The company must make up for this fiasco immediately” says Zbyszko.

SEGMENT 2 - We learn that Jim Brunzell, who returned to the AWA last week, will face Rick Rude in the main event of tonight. AWA World Heavyweight title will also on the line.

SEGMENT 3 - Jerry Lawler (w/Ricky Steamboat) defeated James Sandoval (w/Butch Reed) in 5:42 by pinfall with a Piledriver - Lawler comes to the ring with his close friend Steamboat and sends a message to The Brain Busters. Last week, Pillman announced that he was with him. Butch, who is on Sandoval's ringside, repeats the "join us" call he made to Steamboat last week throughout the match.

SEGMENT 4 - We are witnessing a new The Basilisk promo, which we have not seen on the screens for a while. The camera slowly approaches Tim Runnel from afar. Meanwhile, Runnel plays the flute ecstatically. After a while, The Basilisk enters the camera's frame with a scary snake face. The image is cut off immediately. Thus, we see for the first time what the Basilisk looks like.

SEGMENT 5 - Eric Bischoff interviews Ricky Steamboat and Brian Pillman. Steamboat is making a request to Reed for a rematch with Rude on Gauntlet 6 this Saturday: to include Pillman in the match. He reiterates, albeit verbally, that Pillman fulfilled Ventura's condition, so he should be in this match as well. Eyes turn to Frank Reed at the announce table. Reed says he's not in a "mood" to make a decision yet. The show day will probably be determined. Steamboat and Pillman duo receives great support from the audience. Meanwhile, it has been confirmed that Steamboat will not take part in the AWA World Tag Titles match. Let's see who will be Lawler's partner?

SEGMENT 6 - Sid defeated Dylan Dowboy (w/Miss Elizabeth) in 6:18 by pinfall with a Powerbomb after a distraction from Larry Zbyszko - Before the match, we learn that Sid has left Racket Club. He'll be alone now. It is known that there are allegations that he could not get along with Ellering. By the way, Wallstreet is among the announcers during the match. Trongard asks many questions about the seriousness of Wallstreet's allegations at the beginning of the show. Wallstreet says he has all the documents and they will be taking action soon. Dowboy seems don't care at all. Very concentrated on the match. Sid finds the pin when Zbyszko interferes with the match and attacks Dowboy during the minutes when the referee is on the ground.

SEGMENT 7 - We are watching a skit of the United Nations of Terror next. They are calling from their headquarters. They're talking about Bill Clinton, who ran for president last week. There was no doubt that he was a "murderer and criminal" like the others before him. He would be a president worthy of the United States. They also talk about the World War III show, one of the biggest PPVs of the year, which will be held in November: “The real third world war has been going on in the middle east for years! But all you Americans care about is professional wrestling!”

SEGMENT 8 - AWA World Heavyweight Championship | Rick Rude (c) (w/Jesse Ventura) defeated Jim Brunzell in 9:07 by pinfall after a distraction from Diamond Dallas Page - Before the match, Ventura expresses his dismay at the possibility of Pillman joining the match: “It doesn't matter who it actually is. Rick will win the match whether it is threes, fours or fives. A new era has begun here. I guess some people need to be beaten by Rick to understand that.” DDP interferes in the match and attacks Brunzell. This attack is likely from what Brunzell said about him last week. This is the first time Rude has defended his title.

SEGMENT 9 - New match for the Gauntlet 6 show: Zbyszko vs. Dowboy

Saturday, Week 3, October 1991

SEGMENT 1 - As announced last week, Mr. T is coming to the show! He is now on AWA! After greeting the audience at the entrance, he goes to the announce table and has a long conversation with the Trongard - Reed duo.

SEGMENT 2 - At the special request of Mr. T from Frank Reed, Pillman has been added to the main game of the night. Tonight, the AWA championship will be in the middle in a triple match.

SEGMENT 3 - AWA World Tag Team Contendarship Match | Black Panthers Rising (Butch Reed and James Sandoval) defeated The Rock 'n' Roll Express (Ricky Morton and Robert Gibson) in 9:40 when Butch Reed defeated Robert Gibson by pinfall with a Rocket Launcher following interference from Ron Simmons. During the match we also had Ron Simmons run in and attack Morton - With the arrival of WCW's Simmons, BPR becomes three member. After the match, they salute by raising their right fists in the ring. The BPR thus becomes the number one contendar. They say, "We will make the real third world war live".

SEGMENT 4 - The NB Show – Guest: Frank Reed - After the Talk With Falk show, which started last week, was disgraceful, Frank wanted the NB Show to restart. That's why Bockwinkel's morale is pretty high. Frank continues to provide insights for his next PPV, World War III. So far, Arn Anderson, Michael Wallstreet, and Ron Simmons have come to the company from WCW with a talent trade contract. There will be participation from AJPW before the WW3 event, which will be held in the 4th week of November. AWA was planning a huge show for that night. When the referee reads what is written in the document, he stops the match. It seems that the illegal immigration situation of Dowboy, which Zbyszko and Wallstreet highlighted in the past weeks, is real. Dowboy is escorted out of the arena by security guards. Dowboy doesn't resist them at all. Elizabeth cries and begs the attendants not to take her. By the way, Zbyszko looks pretty fun. Let's see if the request for a repeat of the Crockett Cup final will be accepted.

SEGMENT 6 - Before the next match, Brunzell gives an interview: “DDP, I know you couldn't contain your anger again. Just like on the sets of projects where big things are expected of you. This time, instead of attacking a set attendant, you attacked me. But there is only one difference, you will soon pay the price. And this big man next to me, Baron von Raschke!”

SEGMENT 7 - Jim Brunzell and Baron von Raschke defeated Diamond Dallas Page and Sid in 9:14 when Jim Brunzell defeated Diamond Dallas Page by submission - DDP and Sid's chemistry just doesn't work and they put on a really bad match. When Sid finally got angry and left the match, Brunzell managed to beat the DDP. DDP is having a tantrum again after the match.

SEGMENT 8 - In the locker room before the next match, Steamboat and Pillman wish each other good luck. Pillman looks very excited. “I have a bad feeling tonight” he says.

SEGMENT 9 - AWA World Heavyweight Championship | Rick Rude (c) (w/Jesse Ventura) defeated Ricky Steamboat and Brian Pillman in a Triple Threat match in 23:04 when Rick Rude defeated Brian Pillman by pinfall with a Rude Awakening - Things get messy when The Brain Busters interfere with the match. When Steamboat and Pillman recover, they begin to resist the attack. This time, however, Red Hook Machine comes running, and again the bad guys take over. But what is that? Suddenly the lights go out! Only one spotlight is on at the entrance. STING IS COMING! ONE MORE TALENT FROM WCW IS IN AWA! Sting runs into the ring and saves Steamboat and Pillman. The show ends with incredible cheers from the audience!

SEGMENT 1 - We learn that Sting, who made his debut in the Gauntlet 6 and saved Steamboat, will face Sid in the main event tonight. Sting's debut created a lot of excitement.

SEGMENT 2 - AWA World champion Rick Rude and Jesse Ventura face off against Sting in the ring. Ventura: “Actually, we were very happy that you came to the ring and intervened after our match. Thanks to us, ridiculous wrestlers have moved away from this company. There are those who truly deserve it. You are one of them. If you accept, Rick wants to challenge you. Moreover, the title will be on the line.” But Sting disagrees, saying that the number one contendar is still Steamboat. “Don't flatter yourself so much. Rick Rude, you know very well that you still haven't beaten Ricky cleanly. You're nothing but a questionable champion," says Sting. The tension rises a lot, but there is no fight.

SEGMENT 3 - Jim Brunzell defeated Michael Wallstreet (w/Larry Zbyszko) in 6:48 by submission - Before the match, Zbyszko and Wallstreet distribute to the audience evidence that proves the deficiencies in Dowboy's documents. This issue is often discussed among the speakers. Frank Reed admits to rumors that Dowboy will be deported.

SEGMENT 4 - We're watching a World War III commercial. The show will be held in the 4th week of November. There's also a brand new weekly show coming: AWA Taboo Hour! This show, which will feature young talents who do not appear in weekly shows, will be broadcast on TNT channel every Wednesday. Championship Wrestling show increased to 1 and a half hours. By the way, there is no Championship Wrestling show next week.

SEGMENT 5 - Footage of the moments when Dowboy was deported reaches the show during the commercial break. They bid farewell to Elizabeth tearfully. There are emotional moments.

SEGMENT 6 - Another brand new talent from WCW will be on the show next Championship Wrestling: NWA United States Heavyweight Champion Lex Luger!

SEGMENT 7 - Sting defeated Sid in 17:08 by disqualification. During the match we also had Jesse Ventura run in and attack Sting *MATCH OF THE YEAR* - Tonight is officially all about Sting. It is a very good match and we are witnessing the best match of 1991 currently. Ventura interferes with Sting during the match, allowing Sid to win. However, when a second referee from the back area tells what happened, the decision changes and Sting wins the match by disqualification. After the match, Rude and Ventura dive into the ring and begin beating Sting. We're officially watching a rerun of the Gauntlet 6 ending. This time it's Sting who got beat up. After a while, Steamboat comes to the rescue and pays Sting his remaining debt two days ago.

SEGMENT 1 - AWA's brand new weekly show, Taboo Hour, begins on TNT in November. We will see the talents that we see less in weekly shows with this show. Bockwinkel seems very unhappy about being appointed as the announcer for this show. At least he's happy that The NB Show is back.

SEGMENT 2 - James Sandoval (w/Butch Reed) defeated Chris Youngblood (w/Jerry Lawler) in 5:17 by pinfall with a Missile Dropkick - Lawler brags about how he got Youngblood out of the drug swamp in the pre-match interview. He tried very hard for Eddie Guerrero but failed. “When faced with a hopeless case, sometimes you have to give up” he says.

SEGMENT 3 - We're learning that Bockwinkel's guest at tonight's The NB Show will be Sting. While talking about this issue at the announce table, Tony Falk suddenly appears. Bockwinkel gets very nervous when it comes to it. Falk apologizes for his behavior over the past few weeks. Bockwinkel immediately calms down and accepts it. But after Falk leaves, fireworks suddenly explode around the table. Bockwinkel gets incredibly angry. Looks like Falk was playing a prank.

SEGMENT 4 - Red Hook Machine (w/Jesse Ventura) defeated Jackie Fulton (w/Baron von Raschke) in 5:28 by submission with a Kati Hajime after interference from Jesse Ventura

SEGMENT 5 - The Pitbulls (Pitbull #1 and Pitbull #2) defeated United Nations of Terror (Don Muraco and Saniko) (w/Adnan Al-Kaissie) in 6:53 when Pitbull #2 defeated Don Muraco by pinfall with an Aided superbomb

SEGMENT 6 - The NB Show - Guest: Sting - It's going to be one of the best NB Show episodes. Sting says he is constantly sought after by Rick Rude and Ventura. It looks like Rude and Ventura got very ambitious because they didn't accept last week's challenge. However, Sting met with his close friend Steamboat and got permission from him. So he accepted the challenge. Thus, the first match for World War III has been announced.

SEGMENT 1 - In the opening, Racket Club led by Paul Ellering comes to the ring. They were going to present the first international member of Racket Club: “Dr. Death" Steve Williams! He came from AJPW for the month of World War III. Ellering states that Racket Club will write an epic tonight. Williams will be playing in the match soon.

SEGMENT 2 - “Dr. Death” Steve Williams (w/Paul Ellering, Terry Mawashi and Paul Roma) defeated Jackie Fulton in 5:52 by pinfall with an Oklahoma Stampede after Paul Ellering interfered - All members of the Racket Club are at the ringside throughout the match. This is a huge disadvantage for Fulton. After the match, Racket Club members enter the ring to beat Fulton, this time Baron von Raschke, Bobby Fulton and Tommy Rogers come running! Von Raschke brings other members of his royal family, Fulton's brother and their cousin Rogers, from AJPW to the company!

SEGMENT 3 - AJPW's Jumbo Tsurata is also being added to the AWA World Heavyweight Championship match at the World War III show! He was also an AWA champion for a while in 1984. The WW3 match card is slowly starting to form.

SEGMENT 4 - Lex Luger defeated Doug Furnas in 6:52 by submission with a Torture Rack - As announced two weeks ago, NWA United States Heavyweight Champion Lex Luger is coming to the AWA! He is one of the talents that will be in the company this month because of the World War III. Before the match, he cuts a promo: “It would be ridiculous not to be in a company with the word American in its name, wouldn't it? I couldn't ignore Mr Reed's and Mr Turner's calls. Also, I've been following what's been going on for the past year. I know there are wrestlers out there who are outraged against the USA. But more importantly, I know that there are people who see this country as their own property and deport people according to their minds. I came to hurt them, frankly." Luger is probably referring to the Zbyszko – Dowboy feud here.

SEGMENT 5 - After the commercial break, Zbyszko connects to the show by phone. He says what Luger said is bullshit, but he will make up for all his stupidity. He'll be on the show next week. He was waiting for Luger too. "Let him say his nationalist sensitivities to my face" he says.

SEGMENT 6 - Eddie Guerrero (w/Salazar Luuv) defeated Jim Brunzell in 8:40 by pinfall with a Frog Splash after a distraction from Diamond Dallas Page - Eddie Guerrero, who has been touring with NJPW for a while, is finally returning to weekly shows. DDP interferes with the match, causing Brunzell to lose. He continues to beat Brunzell after the match.

SEGMENT 7 - During the commercial break, Zbyszko and Luger had an argument on the phone. As a result, they challenged each other for the World War III. Frank Reed agreed directly and set the match. “I am happy to present such a good match to the audience. Moreover, the NWA US Heavyweight title will be on the line.”

SEGMENT 8 - The Steiner Brothers (Rick Steiner and Scott Steiner) defeated Racket Club (Terry Mawashi and Paul Roma) in 10:16 when Scott Steiner defeated Terry Mawashi by pinfall with a Steinerizer - Racket Club's second match tonight is going to be very difficult. Because their rivals are WCW's Steiner Brothers! Rick and Scott dominate the match for a long time. There are also moments when Mawashi and Roma respond, but they are playing as a team for the first time and the chemistry is a bit bad. As a result, the Steiners manage to win. They'll be on the World War III too!

SEGMENT 9 - Brian Pillman defeated Saniko (w/Adnan Al-Kaissie and Don Muraco) in 8:36 by pinfall with an Air Pillman - Against his anti-US opponents, Pillman gets great support and wins the match.

SEGMENT 10 - World War match announced for WW3: Team AJPW (Mitsuharu Misawa and Kenta Kobashi) vs. Team AWA (The Pitbulls) vs. Team WCW (Butch Reed and Ron Simmons). Despite being in the AWA, Butch reacted to the company by fighting for the WCW team.

SEGMENT 11 - At the close of the show, a match for next week is announced: Jerry Lawler vs. Abdullah the Butcher (AJPW)!
