Location: First Niagara Center, Buffalo, New York
Hardcore Match for the Intercontinental Championship:
Alberto Del Rio (c) vs Rob Van Dam (by Submission)
(Rob Van Dam wins a battle royal on an episode of Raw to become number one contender to the Intercontinental Championship. In the build up, RVD requests to Triple H that the match is made a Hardcore Match, because Del Rio has a Van Terminator coming his way. Del Rio says he knows that RVD is known for being extreme, but he’s just another bingo hall fossil who’s time has passed, and he’s merely living in the age of Alberto Del Rio. Before this match, Del Rio tells Ricardo Rodriguez to stay in the back, hinting at more dissension between the pair. ADR wins with a steel chair assisted Cross Armbreaker, keeping the hold for an extended period of time before letting go, which writes Van Dam off of TV.)
The Usos vs The Real Americans w/Zeb Colter
(Just an exhibition match, put together by Zeb Colter to push Cesaro & Jack Swagger to their limit after they were recently beaten by The Prime Time Players on an episode of Raw.)
Big E Langston vs The Miz
(Two weeks after Night of Champions, Big E Langston confronts a returning Dolph Ziggler and apologises to the Show Off, saying that he let his own greed and AJ Lee get into his head. Dolph accepts his apology, which turns Big E face. The Miz comes up to Big E and calls him soft, saying he’ll never make it in the WWE. Big E challenges The Miz to a match on an episode of Raw, which Miz wins with a handful of tights, prompting Big E to make this rematch.)
No Disqualification Match:
Kofi Kingston vs Ryback
(Ryback viciously attacks Kofi Kingston on the Raw after Night of Champions, powerbombing him off the stage through a table. Kofi returns the favour by attacking The Big Guy during Ryback’s match with Zack Ryder on SmackDown. Kofi says that Ryback is nothing more than a bully and that he will stand up to him no matter what. He challenges Ryback to a No DQ Match. Ryback accepts and promises to tear Kofi apart.)
Women’s Championship:
AJ Lee (c) vs Brie Bella w/Nikki Bella (by Submission)
(Brie Bella defeats Natalya on an episode of Raw to become the number one contender for the Women’s Championship. In the build, AJ Lee becomes public enemy number one to the women’s division by dropping her own pipe bomb on the Bella Twins. AJ wins after Tamina makes a surprise return to attack Nikki, distracting Brie long enough for AJ to apply the Black Widow and force Brie to submit.)
CM Punk vs Bray Wyatt w/The Wyatt Family (by Disqualification)
(After Night of Champions, CM Punk continues his feud with The Wyatt Family. He interrupts a Bray Wyatt sermon, coming from the darkness of the crowd to ambush him. Punk says that Bray is nothing but a backwoods freak who can’t win a fair fight. Wyatt says that he saves people, and he’ll save Punk too if he lets him. Punk wins by disqualification when Erick Rowan and Luke Harper get involved in the match when Punk has Wyatt up for the GTS.)
World Heavyweight Championship:
Damien Sandow (c) vs Dolph Ziggler
(Dolph Ziggler returns on the SmackDown after Night of Champions and invokes his rematch clause. In the build, Ziggler says that Sandow was smart enough to cash in on him when he was hurt, but now he wants his World Heavyweight Championship back. Sandow says that Ziggler is a peon who doesn’t deserve to hold the gold, and that he will lead the WWE to new heights.)
WarGames Match:
Daniel Bryan, The Big Show, Cody Rhodes & Goldust vs Randy Orton & The Shield
(After Night of Champions, Randy Orton defeats Cody Rhodes to cost him his job, with help from The Shield. The next week, Goldust returns and attacks The Viper. Triple H is about to fire Goldust when Daniel Bryan and The Big Show interrupt. Bryan says that the locker room is already tired of The Authority and that they’re sick of constantly being screwed over. Triple H says he’ll hire Cody back, if Bryan agrees to a match. Thinking it’s a match against Triple H, Bryan accepts almost immediately. The King of Kings tells him that it’s not him he’ll be facing, it’ll be a team of Bryan’s choosing against Randy Orton and The Shield… in a WarGames match! Bryan wins the match for his team after hitting a Knee Plus on Orton.)

(Alberto Del Rio loses a match to Big E Langston on an episode of SmackDown after interference from Ricardo Rodriguez goes wrong. After the match, Del Rio angrily turns on Ricardo and attacks him with a steel chair until Big E saves him. Del Rio declares that he got sick and tired of Ricardo following him around like a lost puppy and that he’s now going to look out for one man; himself. Big E thinks that Del Rio is just an arrogant douchebag who’s used to getting what he wants, so challenges Del Rio to a match, which ADR accepts. At the end of the match, Del Rio traps Big E in the Cross Armbreaker, but Big E powers out of the hold and hits a Big Ending to become the new Intercontinental Champion.)

On an episode of Raw, Wyatt says he’ll grant Punk a match if he can beat his family in two singles matches. Punk beats Luke Harper, then Erick Rowan. In the main event, Punk faces Wyatt, but the match is once again interrupted by Rowan and Harper. Punk says that he wants one more match with Wyatt, one where no one can interfere... a Hell in a Cell match! Wyatt accepts, saying Punk will regret being locked in with his demons. Bray wins his first big feud, with some help from Rowan and Harper so Punk doesn't look too weak.)
United States Championship:
Dean Ambrose (c) vs Dolph Ziggler
(After failing to win the World Heavyweight Championship, Dolph Ziggler begins to speak out against The Authority, so Triple H orders The Shield to attack him on an episode of Raw, with Ambrose decimating The Show Off with a steel chair. Dean Ambrose tries to interfere, but Ziggler runs out to stop him and Ambrose also eats a Bionic Elbow from Dusty Rhodes. Cody wins the match after hitting Seth Rollins with a Cross Rhodes onto a pile of steel chairs, securing the titles and keeping the Rhodes Brother’s jobs.)
World Heavyweight Championship:
Damien Sandow (c) vs John Cena
(Vickie Guerrero announces that John Cena is returning, and that she has awarded him a match for the World Heavyweight Championship. This enrages Damien Sandow, who says that John Cena has no right to simply waltz back into WWE and compete for the World Championship. Sandow builds the feud himself, holding “Enlightenment Seminars” on SmackDown, pointing out reasons why Cena isn’t deserving of a match.)
Women’s Championship:
AJ Lee (c) w/Tamina vs Brie Bella w/Nikki Bella
(Brie Bella challenges AJ Lee to a second match, citing the interference from Tamina as the reason she lost at Battleground. AJ accepts, saying that she knows she can beat Brie easily. Tamina plays a factor in this match when she hits Brie with a superkick while the referee is distracted and allows AJ to retain her title.)
Hell in a Cell Match for the WWE Championship:
Randy Orton (c) vs Daniel Bryan
(After his victory in WarGames, Daniel Bryan says he won’t stop until he brings The Authority down. He challenges Randy Orton to one more match inside Hell in a Cell. Orton accepts, saying he has no problem beating Bryan again, because he is the face of the WWE and Bryan is just a spoke on the wheel who will never reach his potential. In the build, The Authority takes every chance to attack Bryan, ambushing him backstage and beating him down after Bryan wins a few matches. Shawn Michaels isn’t the guest referee for this match. At the end of the match, Bryan prepares to hit Orton with Knee Plus when the lights go out and Bray Wyatt appears in the ring, laying Bryan out with Sister Abigail and allowing Orton to get the win.)

Punk says that he’s had enough of The Authority abusing their power in WWE and it’s about damn time someone does something about it. He challenges Triple H to a No Holds Barred Match at WrestleMania. But Triple H declines at first, saying that he has other issues to worry about & Punk isn't worth his time anyway. In the build, Punk continues to call out Triple H, branding him a corporate scumbag who traded in his sledgehammer for a cheap suit and became a glorified pencil pusher who hides behind his wife’s skirt. The constant digs and put downs mean The Game has no choice but to accept. He even goes as far as making the match a No Holds Barred match. Punk says while that's good, it's not good enough. He wants to add a stipulation where not if, but WHEN he beats Triple H, he'll resign as COO of WWE. Triple H accepts on the condition that WHEN he beats CM Punk, he'll leave the WWE for good. The Best In The World accepts. This is CM Punk's last match in the WWE and he officially takes a break from the world of wrestling. For now, that is….)

Six-Man Tag Team Match:
The Shield vs The Wyatt Family
(After Elimination Chamber, The Shield are pissed and want The Wyatt Family’s blood. Bray Wyatt says the devil whispered in his ear and told him to destroy The Shield. The two teams tear each other apart in a huge brawl on Raw, prompting Triple H to make this match. Triple H tells The Shield to handle this problem, so they can move on and focus on stopping Daniel Bryan again. This match is the first time The Shield loses a six man tag team match, and its the same banger of a match that both teams had at Elimination Chamber in real life.)

The Undertaker vs John Cena
(After failing to capture the WWE World Championship twice, John Cena comes says there’s one thing in his career that he hasn’t done, and that’s defeat The Undertaker at WrestleMania. The Undertaker doesn’t respond at first, or by the second week. When the third week comes around, Cena says he has to step it up, so he challenges Kane to a No Disqualification Match. He brutalises The Big Red Machine in the match and is about to deliver an AA from the top rope through a table when the lights go out and a familiar GONG sounds. When the lights come back on, The Undertaker is there! He chokeslams Cena through the table, then delivers a Tombstone and accepts his challenge. Despite a valiant effort by Cena, The Deadman goes 22-0 in The Streak.)
No Disqualification Match:
Batista vs Brock Lesnar w/Paul Heyman
(Animal vs Beast! After comprehensively beating Dolph Ziggler at Elimination Chamber, Batista says he misses the time of real men in the WWE and that he wants a challenge instead of scrawny little weaklings. Paul Heyman and Brock Lesnar then show up to confront Batista during an in ring segment on an episode of Raw. The Animal says Brock is one of the last real men left in WWE and then slaps him across the face. Brock snaps and the two brawl. Heyman tells Batista that his client wants the match to be No Disqualification so Brock can rip him apart.)
Women’s Championship:
AJ Lee (c) w/Tamina vs Paige
(After a routine squash victory over Cameron on the go home episode of Raw, AJ Lee announces that she will issue an open challenge at WrestleMania to any woman in the back that she already hasn't beaten. NXT Women's Champion Paige answers the challenge, making her main roster debut on the grandest stage of them all. This is the same match both women had on the post Mania episode of Raw in real life, with Paige countering a Black Widow and hitting a Paige Turner for the shock win, ending AJ’s 294 day reign as champion. After this March, Paige celebrates her victory with the women’s locker room and Vickie Guerrero atop the stage as AJ throws a fit in the ring.)
Title vs Career Match for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship:
Randy Orton (c) vs Daniel Bryan (by Submission)
(Despite losing to Bray Wyatt at Elimination Chamber. Daniel Bryan finally gets his title shot. In the weeks leading up to WrestleMania, Randy Orton says that Bryan doesn’t deserve to lace his boots, that he isn’t being held down by The Authority, and that he just isn’t good enough to be WWE World Heavyweight Champion. Bryan says that Orton is just Triple H’s bitch who has had everything handed to him his whole career, and that he’ll wrestle circles around him. The Viper then adds a stipulation to their title match, saying that he wants this to be the last time they ever face off. Orton says if Bryan wins, he becomes the WWE World Heavyweight Champion. But if he loses, he leaves the WWE for good. Bryan accepts and says if he doesn't win the big one in the main event of WrestleMania, then he doesn't deserve to have a career in WWE anymore. Eight months after The Authority originally screwed him over at SummerSlam, Bryan makes The Viper tap to the Yes! Lock to become the WWE World Heavyweight Champion. WrestleMania ends with Bryan celebrating his victory with both belts as confetti falls from the ceiling while "Yes" chants fill the Mercedes-Benz Superdome. Bryan further enrages The Authority by defeating Randy Orton and Batista in a huge triple threat match the next night on Raw.)

Dolph Ziggler vs Damien Sandow
This feud starts at WrestleMania during the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal, with Damien Sandow leaving the ring to sit in an armchair at ringside, drinking whiskey & reading a very intelligent book. When an unimpressed Dolph Ziggler notices this, he brings Sandow back into the ring, only for Sandow to spit the whiskey in The Show Off’s eyes and eliminate him from the match. In the following weeks, Ziggler continues to be a thorn in Sandow's side, which leads to The Intellectual Saviour of the Masses making this match. During the match, Sandow hits Ziggler with a steel chair, only to reveal that it's a No DQ Match and you have to get a 5 count in order to win. To add insult to injury, Sandow pours another glass of whiskey & hits Ziggler in the head with it. Sandow then sits on the chair, puts his feet on Ziggler's prone body, and drinks the whiskey while the referee counts to 5 and award’s Sandow the victory.)

Cesaro says when he won the ATGMBR, it not only marked a new chapter, it marked a new beginning in his career. His passionate babyface promo is interrupted by Jack Swagger, who attacks him from behind & destroys the big trophy to big jeers from the crowd. This enrages Cesaro & they brawl at every chance they get until this match is made. This match is a big slugfest between the 2 former Real Americans, which ends with Swagger getting the win with a Swagger Bomb thanks to a distraction from Zeb Colter.)

Barrett says that Big E has been ducking him since he’s returned and that he will take back the Intercontinental Championship. Big E decides to raise the stakes and challenges Barrett to a tables match. Barrett accepts. The match ends when Big E prepares to hit a Big Ending off the second rope through a table, but Barrett escapes and hits the Bullhammer Elbow to send Big E tumbling off the second rope through the table and become a two time Intercontinental Champion.)
Steel Cage Match:
John Cena vs Bray Wyatt w/The Wyatt Family
(After WrestleMania, John Cena says he wants to put his focus back on being the WWE World Champion. However, he is interrupted by Bray Wyatt. Bray says that Cena’s whole existence is a plague and he is the cure. He says Cena indoctrinates kids with fake values. Cena says that Wyatt is some false prophet who wants to bring the whole world down with him, but he’s scared because he’s never faced anything like Wyatt before. He challenges Bray to a steel cage match to see if he is a man of his word. Bray accepts and promises to destroy Cena’s legacy. There’s no spooky kid shenanigans either. Bray wins after Luke Harper and Erick Rowan interfere by breaking into the cage and beating down Cena, allowing Bray to hit Sister Abigail for a huge victory.)
Submission Match for the Divas Championship:
Paige (c) vs Tamina
(After Paige defeats AJ Lee in her debut at WrestleMania, she is immediately targeted by Tamina. Tamina says that she ran as AJ’s bodyguard for a while and now it’s her chance to be champion. Paige says that she dominated NXT and now she’s ready to blaze a new path.)
Extreme Rules Match for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship - with The Shield as the Special Outside Enforcers:
Daniel Bryan (c) vs Triple H w/Stephanie McMahon (by Submission)
(On the Raw after WrestleMania, Triple H is FURIOUS. He chastises The Shield for not being able to defeat The Wyatt Family, Batista for losing to Brock Lesnar, and Randy Orton for losing the WWE World Heavyweight Championship to Daniel Bryan. The Game says that Bryan's victory was an outright fluke & he got lucky, and his luck will run out because he’s not what’s best for business. Bryan interrupts and says that if Triple H wants to prove it, then he will gladly put both titles on the line at Extreme Rules and tap The Game out. Triple H reluctantly accepts, saying that if you want it done right, you have to do it yourself. He adds a stipulation to the match & not only makes it Extreme Rules, he makes The Shield the special outside enforcers to make sure the match goes as planned. In the build, Triple H tries everything in his power to stop Bryan from competing in this match, even going so far as to try and cripple Bryan. Kane, Randy Orton and Batista all get involved, but Bryan is able to fight them all off. At the closing stages of the match, Triple H orders The Shield to triple powerbomb Bryan on the outside, but the trio surround The Game, who begs them off and warns them "don’t bite the hand that fed you." The Shield then turn on Triple H and attack him, turning face to loud cheers from the crowd. The Shield then proceed to clean house on The Authority, with Roman Reigns hitting Kane with a Spear, Seth Rollins hitting Batista with a Curb Stomp, and Dean Ambrose dropping Randy Orton with Dirty Deeds. Amidst the chaos, Bryan hits Triple H with Knee Plus & makes The Cerebral Assassin tap out to the Yes! Lock and retain the WWE World Heavyweight Championship. Extreme Rules goes off the air with The Authority in retreat while Bryan and The Shield stare them down from the ring.)
